Porcine follicular oocytes matured in culture were inseminated with frozen-thawed spermatozoa. When the oocytes were inseminated in the medium with oviductal epithelial cell monolayer, the penetration rates higher in those with (4.1, 31.7, 45.1, 54.5 and 69.4%) than without cells (0, 17.1, 34.8, 45.2 and 58.9%) at 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 h after insemination. The proportions of polyspermy in penetrated oocytes in medium with or without cells increased with time of examine. In another experiment, the penetration rate was higher without (57.6%) than with (19.6~24.1%) preincubation of spermatozoa for 1~4 h in medium. However, when the oocytes were inseminated with spermatozoa preincubated for 1~2 h, the penetration rates significantly higher (P<0.05) in those with (65.6 and 55.9% for 1 and 2 h) than without (24.1 and 20.6% for 1 and 2 h) oviductal epithelial cell monolayer. On the other hand, the proportions of polyspermy decreased with time of spermatozoa preincubation. These results indicate the significant advantages of the spermatozoa preincubation with oviductal epithelial cell monolayer for 1 and 2 h to maintain penetration potential during in vitro fertilization in the porcine.

To find an antagonist of Pythium ultimum, the causal agent of damping-off, numerous actinomycete strains were screened for in vitro inhibiting mycelial growth of the target fungus and producing bioactive metabolites. A strain identified as Streptomyces sp. G60655 was isolated and used for further antagonistic efficacy. The degree of antagonism between the fungus and G60655 was affected by the medium used. Furthermore, the preinoculation of the antagonist was found to be necessary to exhibit the maximum efficacy of antagonsim against the fungus. From the culture broth, a bioactive metabolite was detected and purified by solvent extraction, silica gel chromatography and preparative HPLC. The FAB-MS spectrum of the active compound showed a molecular ion peak at m/z 1101 (M + H)$\^$+/, suggesting the molecular weight of 1100. The UV absorptions at 242 and 323 nm indicated the presence of aromatic functions. The structure of this compound was identified as echinomycin, a depsipeptide antibiotic by spectroscopic studies including various NMR measurements. Echinomycin was inactive against several soil born fungi, but inhibited the mycelial growth of P. ultimum and its related oomycetous fungi.

The effects of $Co_{67}$C $r_{33}$ underlayer on the crystallographec and magnetic characteristics of the Co-Cr-Ta layer deposited on the underlayer was investigated. The diffraction intensity $I_{p(002)}$ of Co-Cr-Ta layers on the $Co_{67}$C $r_{33}$ layer was stronger than that of single layer and Co-Cr-Ta/Ti double layer. Therefore, the crystallinity of Co-Cr-Ta layer was improved by the $Co_{67}$C $r_{33}$ underlayers rather than Ti ones. However, the coercivity $H_{c}$ of Co-Cr-Ta layers deposited on $Co_{67}$C $r_{33}$ underlayer was as low as 250 Oe even at substrate temperature of 22$0^{\circ}C$. This $H_{c}$ decrease seems to be attributed to the effect of the $Co_{67}$C $r_{33}$ underlayer as well as interval time between deposition of the underlayer and the Co-Cr-Ta layer.yer.layer.yer.
Arginine conjugated PAMAM dendrimer, PAMAM-R was modified with propylene oxide via hydroxylation of primary amines of arginine residues. About 49 amines were detected to be converted to amino alcohols by 1H NMR. The newly synthesized polymer, PAMAM-R-PO was able to completely retard pDNA from a charge ratio of 2. The average diameter of PAMAM-R-PO polyplex was found to be 242 nm at a charge ratio of 30. The Zeta-potential value of PAMAM-R-PO polyplex was able to reach 20-30 mV over a charge ratio of 10. PAMAM-R-PO indicated higher cell viability than unmodified PAMAM-R on HeLa and 293 cells because of its hydroxylated amines. Transfection experiments on 293 cells showed that the transfection efficiency of PAMAM-R-PO was found to be 1.5-1.9 times higher than that of PEI25kDa at a charge ratio of 30. The polymer eventually displayed about 2 times greater transfection efficiency than PAMAM-R at the same charge ratio in the absence of serum. Therefore, we concluded that the modification of primary amines of PAMAMR to amino alcohols gives positive effects such as reduced cytotoxicity and enhanced transfection efficiency on 293 cells for gene delivery potency of PAMAM-R.

Many reports demonstrate that extremely low frequency magnetic fields (ELF MFs, 60 Hz) may be involved in hyperalgesia. In a previous investigation, we suggested that MFs may produce hyperalgesia and such a response may be regulated by the benzodiazepine system. In order to further confirm this effect of MFs, we used diazepam and/or flumazenil with MFs exposure. When testing the pain threshold of rats using hot plate tests, MFs or diazepam ($0.5\;{\mu}g$, i.c.v.; a benzodiazepine receptor agonist) induced hyperalgesic effects with the reduction of latency. These effects were blocked by a pretreatment of flumazenil (1.5 mg/kg, i.p.; a benzodiazepine receptor antagonist). When the rats were exposed simultaneously to MFs and diazepam, the latency tended to decrease without statistical significance. The induction of hyperalgesia by co-exposure to MFs and diazepam was also blocked by flumazenil. However, the pretreatment of GABA receptor antagonists such as bicuculline ($0.1\;{\mu}g$, i.c.v.; a $GABA_A$ antagonist) or phaclofen ($10\;{\mu}g$, i.c.v.; a $GABA_B$ antagonist) did not antagonize the hyperalgesic effect of MFs. These results suggest that the benzodiazepine system may be involved in MFs-induced hyperalgesia.
Certain interesting single (or double) infinite series associated with hypergeometric functions have been expressed in terms of Psi (or Digamma) function ${\psi}(z)$, for example, see Nishimoto and Srivastava [8], Srivastava and Nishimoto [13], Saxena [10], and Chen and Srivastava [5], and so on. In this sequel, with a view to unifying and extending those earlier results, we first establish two relations which some double infinite series involving hypergeometric functions are expressed in a single infinite series involving ${\psi}(z)$. With the help of those series relations we derived, we next present two functional relations which some double infinite series involving $\bar{H}$-functions, which are defined by a generalized Mellin-Barnes type of contour integral, are expressed in a single infinite series involving ${\psi}(z)$. The results obtained here are of general character and only two of their special cases, among numerous ones, are pointed out to reduce to some known results.
The aerobic reaction of 2-(acetylpyridine)-S-methyldithiocarbazate (acpy-mdtcH) and 2-(acetylpyridine)-N-phenylthiosemicarbazate(acpy-phTscH) with manganese(Ⅱ) acetate affords Mn(acpy-mdtc)2 and Mn(acpyphTsc)2, respectively. The spectroscopic data and X-ray structure of Mn(acpy-mdtc)2 are reported. Crystal data for Mn(acpy-mdtc)2; C18H20N6S4Mn, mol wt 503.58, monoclinic crystal system(P21/c) a=12.240(5) Å, b= 10.918(l) Å, c=17.651(3) Å, β=105.93(2), and V=2268(l) Å3, Z=4, 5071 data collected with 0°< 2θ < 52.64°, 2995 data with I > 3σ(I), R= 0.046, Rw= 0.065. The ligands act as tridentate NNS donors. The two Mn-S distances are not equal, and respectively 2.512(2) Å and 2.541(2) Å. The average Mn-N (azomethine) length, 2.242(5) Å, is slightly shorter than the average Mn-N (pyridyl) length, 2.262(5) Å. The coordination environment about MN(Ⅱ) center deviates considerably from octahedral geometry. The manganese(Ⅱ)-manganese(Ⅰ) and manganese(Ⅰ)-manganese(0) reduction potentials of Mn(acpy-mdtc)2 are ∼-l.71 and ∼-l.98 V while those of Mn(acpy-phTsc)2 are ∼-l.87 and ∼-2.11 V vs. Ag/Ag+ in dimethyl sulfoxide, respectively.
The purpose of this study was to develop a dietary education program, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the education program for children from low-income families. A total of 242 children (122 education groups and 120 control groups) were run six times a dietary education program from April to December 2018, and a questionnaire was administered before and after the education to evaluate effectiveness. Elementary school students were the most prevalent in the education and the control group. In the education group, the body height and weigh were 137.27 cm and 33.69 kg, respectively, and in the control group the body height and weight were 143.48 cm and 40.64 kg, respectively. The education group showed positive change in dietary self-efficacy and dietary knowledge compared to the control group. In particular, 'I can have meals regularly' (Education Group: 4.00 points from 3.71 points) and 'I can choose fruits instead of cookies candies as snacks (Education Group: 4.01 points from 3.70 points) The score increased after participation in the program. In the change of nutritional and hygiene knowledge of children, the education group scored 3.63 of 10 points before education, but the score significantly increased to 5.70 points after education(p<0.001).

This research was conducted for the normal adults and kids to know the abdominal muscle activities by stimulating Vojta's brust zone. It was conducted for 10 adults who were average 21.5 years old and 10 kids who were 12.1 years old and did it once. We used EMG to know the abdorminal muscle activities and we chose the research method 'independent t test'. Only two adults and kids among subjects have reactions and the others have no reactions. This research reveals that hypothesis, Vojta's brust zone stimulates abdominal activities, didn't coincide completely but we will have more exact results by researching other subjects and choosing proficient method several months, not once.

The Korean shiner (Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Gobioninae), a small freshwater fish native to Korea Peninsula, widely inhabits in most of the major drainages in South Korea. Here we describe the development of 14 novel and polymorphic microsatellites for this species and its effective utilization in estimation of genetic diversity using 72 individuals from three sampling sites in different drainages. Loci were isolated from a microsatellite enrichment procedure using probe-labeled magnetic beads. A total of 242 alleles were detected across all loci with an average of 17.3 alleles per locus ranging 4 32. The loci varied levels of polymorphism as evident from its expecte heterozygosity ranging from 0.111 to 0.957. The average pairwise $F_{ST}$ between two populations examined shows significant differentiation ($F_{ST}$ = 0.215, p<0.05). The 14 microsatellite loci developed here will also be useful to explain for the genetic structures among geographically isolated populations and gene flow dynamics within drainages in this species as well as the closely related species.
