Auto exhausts and air pollution can become trapped in the cabin of vehicle, reducing the amount of oxygen available for breathing. Driver may feel sleepy, headaches, nausea, confusion, dizziness and lower levels of oxygen can damage the driver's general health. Consequently, oxygen generator purified oxygen into the car to help driver get the oxygen driver's body needs. In this study, in order to evaluate the oxygen generator performance, the samples that the various conditions(humidity(50%, 100%), flow and oxygen concentration) were examined. There were three types of oxygen generator; sample 1($2.5{\ell}/min$, $36%O_2$), sample 2($4.5{\ell}/min$, $41%O_2$) and sample 3($5{\ell}/min$, $39%O_2$). As the humidity increased from 50% to 100%, the oxygen concentration of the sample 1(36%), 2(41%) and 3(39%) was reduced $31%O_2$, $38%O_2$ and $38%O_2$, respectively. Also, the each sample measured that effect of human in car on oxygen concentration, if the oxygen concentration is one person in car, each sample of oxygen concentration was $20.8%O_2$, $23.7%O_2$ and $21.2%O_2$. From the above results, it was shown that oxygen generator for car, if the oxygen concentration is increased, effect of humidity is reduced, and that in the sample of supplying a high-rate of oxygen, the oxygen concentration is increased. It was suggested that effect of humidity on oxygen generator for car can be reduced according to the supply of oxygen.
The ejector type microbubble generator, which is the method to supply air to water by using cavitation in the nozzle, does not require any air supplier so it is an effective and economical. Also, the distribution of the size of bubbles is diverse. Especially, the size of bubbles is smaller than the bubbles from a conventional air diffuser and bigger than the bubbles from a pressurized dissolution type microbubble generator so it could be applied to the aeration tank for wastewater treatment. However, the performance of the ejector type microbubble generator was affected by hydraulic pressure and MLSS(Mixed Liquor Suspended Solid) concentration so many factors should be considered to apply the generator to aeration tank. Therefore, this study was performed to verify effects of hydraulic pressure and MLSS concentration on oxygen transfer of the ejector type microbubble generator. In the tests, the quantity of sucked air in the nozzle, dissolved oxygen(DO) concentration, oxygen uptake rate(OUR), oxygen transfer coefficient were measured and calculated by using experimental results. In case of the MLSS, the experiments were performed in the condition of MLSS concentration of 0, 2,000, 4,000, 8,000 mg/L. The hydraulic pressure was considered up to $2.0mH_2O$. In the results of experiments, oxygen transfer coefficient was decreased with the increase of MLSS concentration and hydraulic pressure due to the increased viscosity and density of wastewater and decreased air flow rate. Also, by using statistical analysis, when the ejector type microbubble generator was used to supply air to wasterwater, the model equation of DO concentration was suggested to predict DO concentration in wastewater.

The mixed gas of Hydrogen and Oxygen is gained from water electrolysis reaction. It has constant volume ratio 2 : 1 Hydrogen and Oxygen, and it is used as a source of thermal energy by combustion reaction. This gas has better characteristics in the field of economy, efficiency of energy, and environmental intimacy than acetylene gas and LPG used for gas welding machine. So several studies of this gas are actively in progress nowadays. The object of this study is the optimization of power condition in the side of electricity for the Hydrogen-Oxygen gas generator, Firstly chemical analysis of electrolysis is conducted, and the relation of electrical energy and chemical energy is quantitatively investigated through Faraday's laws of electrolysis. After that, pulse power supply is designed for basic experiment which could be applied to the analysis of Hydrogen-Oxygen gas generator. In the basis of above steps, comparison and analysis of Hydrogen-Oxygen gas generator was conducted as variable frequency using pulse Power supply.

This paper discusses the development of a personal compact oxygen generator for portable and mobility. The compact oxygen generator is operated with vacuum swing absorption by compact vacuum pump. The components of oxygen generator is composed on the miniaturization and weight reduction, and it is optimized by discharge pump speed, nozzle diameter and 3-way valve interval. In 0.5mm of nozzle diameter, $O_2$ concentration is approximately 37%, and flow rate is $1{\ell}$/min. On the 30cm away from the nozzle, $O_2$ concentration is increased approximately 0.5%.

A PSU (passenger service unit) is mounted on passenger seats in a cabin on an aircraft and consists of a crew call lamp, a reading lights, an information display lamp, an emergency oxygen generator, and an emergency oxygen mask. It is a safety device for providing convenience to passengers and providing oxygen to passengers in an emergency. This paper is a study on emergency oxygen supply systems and light systems of aircraft PSUs and a control device was developed to operate the system by analyzing the B767-300 aircraft's PSU circuit diagram. And the temperature generated by the B777-200ER aircraft's emergency oxygen generator was also measured by operating it directly. Through this, precautions for explaining the operation of an oxygen mask in an emergency were described and improvements were presented. Data acquired in these research processes can be used in the future to develop aircraft PSU (passenger service unit) and emergency oxygen generators.
In order to prevent side reactions due to free radical formation occurring in the reactions of singlet oxygen generated in solution phse, it was required that singlet oxygen is generated in gas phase from an apparatus of a solid-gas system. We have accomplished to construct an apparatus generating singlet oxygen in solid-gas system, which is composed of a flexible optical fibre tube connected by a dye-sensitizer probe containing rose bengal dye on polymer or inorganic material. Through the optical fibre tube visible light from a laser and an oxygen stream are passed into the sensitizer probe where singlet oxygen is generated. The determination of singlet oxygen was carried out by two methods. One involves the detection of the luminescence of singlet oxygen at 1268 mn and the other involves the chemiluminescence reaction of a dihydroisobenzofuran with singlet oxygen emitting luminescence at 456 nm.
An experimental study has been carried out to determine the flow rate for a feasible N2 generator to extinguish the fire, and this study analogized the correlations to determine the flow rate for $N_2$ generator considered an Oxygen concentration, protected enclosure, discharging pressure and discharging time. We manufactured simple protected enclosure for analyzing fire-extinguishing performance of the $N_2$ generator. As a $N_2$ gas is exhausted on protected enclosure, a various of Oxygen concentration is measured to analyze fire-extinguishing performance experimentally. The correlations determined as an uncertainty analysis for the Oxygen concentration deviations of the theoretical and experimental value. The analogized correlations is Q = (21 $\times$ V)/($O_2+{\zeta}{\cdot}P$)-V. In case of $300m^3$ protected enclosure, 0.8 MPa discharging pressure and $40m^3$/min $N_2$ flow rate, the Oxygen concentration is decreased below 15% within 3 minutes.
An experimental study has been carried out to investigate the possibilities of an industrial $N_2$ generator that it replace Halon series as a natural extinguishing system. And this study comparison design standard of gas series extinguishing system with natural extinguishing system. We manufactured simple protected enclosure for analyzing fire-extinguishing performance of the $N_2$ generator. As a $N_2$ gas is exhausted on protected enclosure, a various of Oxygen concentration is measured to analyze fireextinguishing performance experimentally. The results, in case of $100m^3$ protected enclosure and $5m^3$/min $N_2$ flow rate, the Oxygen concentration is decreased below 15% within 3 minutes. And so, the $N_2$ generator make full use of an suffocating extinguishing system.
In order to separate oxygen from air, the effects of feed gas flow rate and rinse gas flow rate on the product purity and flow were examined using 2 bed PSA with 4 step cycle. The addition of product pressurization step increased the product purity and flow rate. The addition of pressure equalization increased the product flow rate. The test product was manufactured and the purity and flow rate of product oxygen was examined. The results were compared with the commercial medical oxygen generator of 5 ${\ell}/min$ and 90% oxygen purity.

A subscale gas generator was designed and manufactured to understand a reason for increased pressure drop of liquid oxygen injectors observed in a technology demonstration model of a 75 ton-class gas generator. A total of 6 hot-firing tests were successfully performed including experimental conditions of design and off-design points. The hot-firing results showed that discharge coefficients of fuel and liquid oxygen remained constant as the mixture ratio varied at a fixed chamber pressure. At a fixed mixture ratio, it was also found that discharge coefficients of fuel and liquid oxygen was constant as the chamber pressure was increased.
