패션 하우스의 디자인 정체성 연구 - 생 로랑 하우스를 중심으로 - (A Study on Design Identity of Fashion House - Focused on Saint Laurent House -)

  • This research was started to study how the design identity of an overseas fashion house was formed, changed and connected. For the purpose of the study, Saint Laurent House was selected as the subject of the study, because it began as a couture house and launched the $pr\hat{e}t-\grave{a}-porter$ for the first time among the designer brands, and also contributed to the development of modern women's fashion. Literature survey on related books and papers was performed to study the Saint Laurent House. Then, fashion collection photos of the house from 1962 SS to 2014 SS were collected to analyze and compare the features of the designs. The photos were collected from related books, fashion magazines and internet sites. The results are as follows: The features of Yves Saint Laurent's early designs were contemporarily sensational with their couture tradition. His representative designs including Le Smoking, Pea Coat, Loose Fit Blouse, Safari Look, Jumpsuit, Ethnic Look and Art Look became the signature looks of the Saint Laurent House. His designs expressed the liberation of sex, multi-cultural sensitivity and the fusion of art and fashion. His successor, chief designer Tom Ford designed with strong sensitivity of his own. He dealt with Yves Saint Laurent's design themes and signature looks in sensual as well as trendy and sophisticated way. Stefano Pilati showed the Parisienne chic and elegance. He re-made the legacies of Yves Saint Laurent with his own design style using new materials or cutting technique. Hedi Slimane reinterpreted the signature looks of the house with his rock' n roll mood for young, modern women while reflecting the spirit of Yves Saint Laurent's early stage. In conclusion, the design identity of Saint Laurent House is not just a fixed one. By the subsequent chief designers, the signature items and design spirit of Yves Saint Laurent have been succeeded, reintroduced or changed to be trendy and to reflect the designers' design sensitivity. All of these make and maintain the design identity of the fashion house.

구강건강 관련 스마트폰 애플리케이션 분석 (Analysis of oral health-related smartphone applications)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the current status of oral health applications developed for smartphones because they can be used as a new educational medium to manage and improve oral health. Methods: This study examined 60 basic oral health applications provided by Google Play Store and Apple App Store as of May 2019 and examined delivery contents, delivery methods, application types, and other information. Results: Apple included 65.4% of oral apps in the game category whereas Android included 64.3% in the education category (p>0.05). All Apple's apps and 71.4% of Android apps were developed overseas (p<0.01). The delivery contents were 61.5% for Brushing + tooth decay in Apple, and 78.6% for others (oral care products and gum diseases) in Android (p>0.05). For the delivery method, game + video was 65.4% in Apple, and game and other methods (text, image, augmented reality) was 42.9% in Android (p>0.05). In the case of application type, play type was the most common with 88.5% in Apple, and 46.4% play type and 39.3% other type (text, appreciation, problem-solving types) in Android (p<0.01). In addition, play type was high in both education (53.8%) and game (90.0%) categories (p>0.05). The average review score was 4.30 in the education category, 4.34 in the case of brushing and care (delivery contents), 4.37 in the case of using game + video (delivery methods), and 4.57 in the case of Play + other types (application type) (p>0.05). Conclusions: The use of healthcare apps is expected to increase owing to improved lifestyles, an increase in the elderly population, cost-effectiveness, and convenience that is not affected by time and place. Effective use of oral health apps will require the participation of dental professionals in the development process to identify the exact status, expand subjects, and provide appropriate information.

의류제품 통관데이터 분석을 통한 해외직접구매 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Cross-Border E-Commerce Through an Analysis of Clothing Products Customs Clearance Data)

  • This study attempted to examine the characteristics of fashion cross-border e-commerce(CBEC) by analyzing about 35.7 million cases of customs clearance data received from the Korea Customs Service. The demographic characteristics of consumers and the features of products purchased from 2019 to 2021 were explored. Next, the association rules between products, brands, and websites were analyzed by men and women in their 20s to 50s. The results are as follows. First, women purchased more clothing products than men, and overall, consumers tended to purchase products at low prices every year. Second, the most commonly purchased products were T-shirts, bags, and other shoes. In the list clearance, the purchase frequency of international open markets increased for three years; in general clearance, the proportion of luxury brands was high every year. Finally, in the list clearance, the relationships between bags, other shoes, pants, and overseas open markets were significant, while the relationships between wallets, bags, and luxury brands were significant in general clearance. Based on this study, domestic companies participating in or competing against the CBEC market can develop appropriate strategies for merchandising and sourcing clothing products.

과시적 키즈 패션의 특성과 내적 의미 연구 (A Study on Characteristics And Intrinsic Meaning of Conspicuous Kids Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of conspicuous kids fashion and its intrinsic meaning as the popular trends of luxury product consumption expand into the area of kids' fashion. For methodologies, literature study was conducted along with empirical study. The literature study was based on various literatures and preceding studies, including books. The empirical materials used the internet photos, overseas kids fashion magazines, and free newspapers available on the basis of membership targeting the upper class. Conspicuous kids fashion refers to imported luxury kids brands, which signify higher status of the wearer due to the high prices and high quality. These brands were thrust into limelight amid the Wanna-Be Phenomenon, which resulted from the emergence of kids' fashion icons. Imported luxury brands launched the products in the form of brand line extensions. It promoted exhibition of vicarious consumption to show off the wealth and social prestige of parents. It came into prominence due to emotional consumption among kitty moms. Moreover, this study examined the intrinsic meaning of conspicuous kids fashion. The results showed components of conspicuous kids fashion, which was classified into the emphasis on outward appearance, consumption for vicarious satisfaction, inheritance of cultural capital, and network configuration.

'낭자(娘子)농악'과 '소녀(少女)농악'을 통해본 여성 농악예인의 활동 (Nong-ak Artist's Activities seen from the perspective of "Maiden's (娘子) Nong-ak" and 'Girls' (少女) Nong-ak")

  • '낭자군(娘子軍')과 더불어 '여성농악'이 탄생했다. 본고에서는 남성들의 전유물이나 다름없던 농악의 주체로서 여성이 등장한 내력, 특히 국극단 출신 여성농악예인의 출현이 주목된다. 이 연구에서는 낭자농악대와 소녀농악대의 활동 내력에 대하여, 새로이 발굴한 기사자료들을 전면에 제시하고 실증적으로 다루었다. 본고에 소개하는 '여성 농악예인'들은 기존에 알려진 남원여성농악단 성립 이전의 여성 농악인들과, 그 이후의 세대들을 아우른다. 여성 특유의 매력을 발산하며 인기를 누린 예인들은 각종 농악경연에 참가하고 포장걸립을 전전했다. 여성농악인들은 우도농악 명인들로부터 전수를 받아 기량을 갖추고, 화려한 복색으로 이목을 끌었다. 농악계의 여성들은 특히 시대의 흐름을 간파하여 활동무대를 넓히고, 다양한 장르와 융합하면서 융통성과 순발력을 발휘했다. 여성 농악인들은 세대와 성별, 지역과 국가의 경계를 넘나들며 활동했다. 소녀부터 기혼녀에 이르기까지 팀원으로 편성될 수 있었고, 때로는 어린 소년들을 영입하거나, 원로 남성농악인들과 연대하기도 했다. 또한 이들은 지역을 넘어, 국내외의 무대를 누비면서, 해외 순방에도 박차를 가했다. 특히 어린 소녀농악인들은 한국문화의 상품성을 선보이고, '순결한 농악예술무대'를 장식하는 문화적 매개자로 동원되기도 했다. 이들은 스스로의 활동에 대한 실리와 경제적 이윤을 추구하거나, 정치적 선동을 할 수 없는 '천사 같이 춤추는 예쁜 인형'이나 다름없었고, 그 후원자는 국내외 정계 인사들이었다. 여성농악인들은 국내외 전반에 걸쳐 각계각층의 인사들과 교류하면서 농악의 저변 확대에 기여했다. 해외로 파견된 소녀들의 농악공연이 대개 어린이들이나 학생들 위주였던 반면, 국내에서 기성세대와 연합하여 공연활동을 하던 소녀들은 그저 농악이 좋아서 여성농악단에 입단하여 기예를 습득하고, 공연하며 실전 경험을 쌓으면서 스스로 입지를 다져갔다. 해방 이후 낭자농악, 소녀농악이라는 이름을 걸고 농악의 무대화를 선도한 여성예인들은 대중적 인지도를 얻어 농악의 저변 확대에 기여했다. 사당패, 협률사, 낭자농악대, 소녀농악대, 여성농악단 등 한 세기를 풍미한 여성 농악예인들은, 농악판에 팽배하던 '남존여비(男尊女卑)'의 관습을 뒤틀고 농악문화의 새 전통을 일군 주인공들이다.

The Direction on Liberal Arts Education of University in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era

  • In spite of the rapid change of the technology, the university education cannot escape from the traditional form of classroom teaching. University education is assessed through listening the same content of lecture, completing the same assignment and test at the same time, same place. To prepare for the 4th industrial revolution, it is investigated to reorganize the curriculum(32.5%), strengthen the lifelong education(21.4%), expand the compulsory education(17.6%), expand the innovation school(13.7%), expand the educational finance(10.4%) as the field of education which need to be strengthen. The change of the education is essential to prepare for the 4th industrial revolution which creativity, collaboration, fusion, problem solving are the core ability. In this thesis, it is to be compared that the subjects opened in liberal arts of domestic and overseas university in this 4th industrial revolution and Basic Liberal Art Education Curriculum is promoted for the smooth management for preparing the future and taking the action to the change. Stereotyped and inflexible frame should be changed to 'Structure', 'Recognition', 'Attitude' for making the base of 'Diversity', 'Personalization', 'Flexibility' which are needed to uplift 'Imagination', 'Creativity' for education of the future and the new era.

갱년기 여성의 안면홍조 증상에 대한 국내 한의학 연구 동향 분석 (A Review on Domestic Study Trends on Hot Flush in Menopausal Women with Traditional Korean Medicine)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyse the domestic trends of Traditional Korean Medicine on Hot flush in menopausal women. Methods: We searched six databases and selected relevant papers according to the criteria. Results: 12 papers included case report, literature review, randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs), Non-RCTs, and retrospective chart analysis study design. 1. The daily diary, Kupperman's Index, Menopause Rating Scale, Menopause-specific Quality of Life Questionnaire, Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging were used as a measure of the symptoms of hot flush. 2. There were significant correlations between Thermographic images, Pulse energy, Lifestyle Habits, Low frequency power/High frequency power (LF/HF) ratio and certain items of Menopausal Symptoms Measurement. 3. The case report using Er-Xian decoction and Hwangryunhaedoktang-Gamibang showed significant effect. 4. Domestic RCT studies using herbal or acupuncture treatments showed a significant value of 3.4 on average in the quality assessment conducted in the study. However, the number of domestic studies included was five, which is not enough compared to foreign countries. Conclusions: This study examined domestic research trends on hot flushes of menopausal women and found that various evaluation tools and diagnostic methods were applied. It is necessary to conduct various RCT studies in Korea, where the number of studies is insufficient compared to overseas.

인신매매와 관련된 국제경제, HIV, 그리고 비인간적 문제들에 대한 담론: 네팔여성들에 대한 사례제시를 중심으로 (A discussion on the issues of human trafficking and global economy, HIV, and inhumanity: A case study of Nepal women)

  • 인신매매는 오늘날 지구촌에서 급속히 발전하는 지하산업이자 범죄 행위이다. 세계 일부 기업들의 해외 법인은 종종 이러한 성매매 산업에 참여하여 인신매매에 필요한 비용을 지불하는 등 범죄조직의 운영 및 수익에 관여할 뿐만 아니라 지하경제의 투자자금 생성에 깊은 관련이 있다. 이는 불법적 경제의 조성에 인신매매를 통한 성매매가 심각한 위험이라는 것을 반증한다. 또한 전 세계 윤락녀의 56% 정도가 HIV 혹은 AIDS를 가지고 있으며 성매매는 AIDS 감염의 원인이 되고 있는 등 수많은 사람들이 성매매 산업과 접촉하면서 매일 HIV와 다른 질병에 감염되어 확산되고 있어 성매매를 위한 인신매매가 가져오는 보건의 문제 역시 심각한 문제로 인식되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 성매매를 위한 인신매매가 내포하고 있는 심각한 문제는 다양하지만, 일부 국가에서 보이는 바와 같이 정부와 정책 결정자들에게 성매매는 관심 밖의 문제로 외면당하고 학문적 논의에서도 미진한 부분이 되고 있다. 따라서 성매매를 위한 인신매매와 관련된 경제적인 파장과 보건 및 질병에 관한 연구가 매우 필요하다. 이에 따라 이 연구는 성매매를 위한 인신매매와 관련된 선행연구들을 분석하고, 네팔에서의 성매매의 실상을 파악하기 위한 인신매매에 대한 사례분석을 제시하고자 한다. 그리고 이 연구의 결론과 논의부분에서는 세계 여러 나라는 성 매매 산업을 감축하기 위한 정책과 국제사회의 공조가 필요한 부분 등의 정책적 부분에 대한 내용을 논의하고 있다.

세계 시장 진출을 위한 한국적 디자인 모티프와 패션 디자인 연구 (A study on the Korean design motif and fashion design for the advancement of Korean fashion to the global market)

  • The purpose of this study is to find an expression method for Korean fashion design that can have competitiveness in the global fashion market. For this, fashion specialists at home and abroad were interviewed, focusing on their opinions on the Korean motifs outlined in existing literature studies. First, aesthetic sense and expression characteristics that have appeared in existing studies on Korean art, Korean traditional costume, and Korean fashion were explored. As a result, they were categorized into: Modesty/plainness, freewheelingness, religion/custom, and humor/joke. During this process, Korean design motifs were extracted based on the aesthetic characteristic and expression method of aesthetic sense. According to the opinions on Korean design motifs and Korean fashion design works drawn from the interviews with fashion specialists at home and abroad, Changhomun was the favorite design motif to be utilized in Korean fashion design. The Korean specialists thought that visual design motifs were important, while the overseas specialists had more interest in abstract design motifs, which embody the background and story behind the motif. Regarding the fashion design associated with the Korean design motif, all specialists at home and abroad favored the design using ceramics and wrapping cloth. Regarding the choice of fashion image, Korean specialists chose the design utilizing Hangeul as the most Korean, while the foreign specialists chose designs reflecting the design motifs of Hangeul and Hanbok for women. The Korean specialists chose relatively more Korean images, while the foreign specialists chose more eastern images or other images than Korean images.

세균성 질증의 한방외치요법에 대한 무작위 대조군 비교 임상시험 중심의 고찰 (Analysis for Randomized Controlled Clinical Trials of Korean Medicine External Treatment on Bacterial Vaginosis)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to show effectiveness of Korean medicine external treatment on bacterial vaginosis by analyzing randomized controlled clinical trials. Methods: We searched randomized controlled clinical trials related with Korean external treatment on bacterial vaginosis through national and overseas database and analyzed them in detail. Results: 15 articles were included according to our selection criteria and 2,176 women were involved. 1. All treatment groups were treated with intervention including Korean medicine external treatment and their results were statistically more effective than control groups. 2. External washing was the most frequently used method followed by vaginal tablet, fumigation and powder. 3. The most frequently used herbal medicine was Sophorae Radix followed by Phellodendri Cortex, Cindi Fructus, Dictamni Radicix Cortex and Kochiae Fructusa. 4. There were 4 studies reporting side effects of treatment and no significant side effects were observed. Conclusions: There was significant difference in the effectiveness of the intervention including Korean external therapy. Based on the analysis, it could be an effective way for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis in clinical practice.
