국내·외 초음파사의 아랍에미리트 취업 과정에 대한 고찰 (Analysis of Healthcare Employment into United Arab Emirates : Focused on Korean and Overseas Sonographers)

  • This study was intented as an investigation of the employment process into UAE for Korean and overseas sonographers to understand requirements for working abroad in regards to primary education curriculum and employment expansion abroad. A total of 10 candidates are selected who were working together with a job title of a cardiac sonographer in the same department under one hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The candidates had clinical experience over 2 years in other countries after graduation and for 1 year at least in UAE. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, a web search and literature reviews. We analyzed the process regarding their curriculums studying in colleges, educational courses and certificates related medical fields. The findings were created with four essential themes: first, there are specific colleges or diploma courses corresponding academic major in United states, Portugal, Turkey, India and Pakistan. Secondly, healthcare professions were systemized by certifying as a specialist relevant medical fields. Thirdly, it is mandatory to be employed in UAE that are clinical experience for 2 years at least after graduation of specific courses. Lastly, It is required to work in UAE that is a license of healthcare authority under each state by taking a national examination or transferring own certificates to a current license in UAE. In conclusion, the results indicate that employing process for healthcare professionals depends on the educational requirements or clinical experience accumulated due to the various systems to be certified in each country. We believe that this study suggests experimental information for Korean job seekers considering working abroad in the medical ultrasound fields.

  • 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 디지털 고용서비스 구축상황을 분석하고 해외사례와 최신 디지털 기술의 발전 동향을 토대로 디지털 고용서비스의 지속적인 고도화 및 발전 방향을 제시한다. 벨기에, 호주, 영국, 독일, 프랑스, 미국 등 주요 국가의 구체적인 디지털화 추진전략과 현황을 알아본다. 그리고 우리나라 디지털 고용서비스의 발전방안을 제시하기 위해 AI, 빅데이터 등을 활용한 디지털 고용서비스를 통해 개인별·맞춤형 고용서비스, 데이터 개방과 민관협업 확대 등을 통해 궁극적으로 온라인 고용센터로 디지털 고용서비스 확대 방안을 제시한다.

조현병 환자의 라이프케어 증진을 위한 직업재활 : 체계적 고찰 (Vocational Rehabilitation for Improvement of Life Care in Patients with Schizophrenia : A Systematic Review)

  • 본 연구는 국외 작업치료 영역에서 조현병 환자의 직업재활에 대해 알아보기 위해, 2000~2019년까지 PubMed, SAGE Journals, Wiley Online Library의 데이터베이스를 사용하여 총 19편을 선정하였다. 첫째, 연구의 질적 수준은 모두 Level I이었다. 둘째, 조현병 이외의 연구 대상자의 진단군은 조현정동장애가 가장 많았다. 셋째, 중재 유형별로 살펴보면 사회기술 및 인지재활 훈련+지원고용 11편, 지원고용 4편, 사회기술 및 인지재활 훈련 3편, 기타 직업적 접근법 1편이었다. 넷째, 고용 유형에 따른 중재 유형별 고용률을 살펴보면 경쟁고용은 사회기술 및 인지재활 훈련+지원고용, 비경쟁 고용은 사회기술 및 인지재활 훈련, 유급고용은 지원고용이 가장 효과적이었다. 다섯째, 최근 5년 동안 연구 동향을 살펴보면 사회기술 및 인지재활 훈련+지원고용 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국외의 선행 연구에 근거하여 조현병 환자에 대한 직업재활의 유형과 효과에 대해 분류했다는 점에서, 조현병 환자의 직업재활을 이해하고 국내 임상 현장에서 적용하기 위한 기초자료로 제공되기를 바란다.

Employment and Wage Level of University Graduates in the Field of Clothing and Fashion

  • The purpose of this study is 1) to compare the employment status and wage level of "Clothing and Fashion" major (CF major) graduates with those from other majors and 2) to examine factors affecting the employment status and wage level of CF major university graduates. The data were pooled from the 2009-2012 Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey Data, conducted by Korea Employment Information Service. First, when graduates of CF major were compared with other majors in the same academic area-natural science and arts-, the rate of employment was higher for CF majors than that of other majors; on the other hand, there is no difference in the wage levels between those with graduates in CF majors and those with other majors. Second, we examined factors affecting CF major graduates' employment and wage level based on graduates' individual factors, university factor, and job preparation factors. Employment status of graduates in CF major was predicted by respondent's gender and university type, and work experience. The wage level of CF major graduates was significantly predicted by individual factors (e.g., gender and age, university factors (e.g., university type, university program, location), and job preparation factors (e.g., certificates, overseas experience of foreign language training, English test scores). The results of this study would provide a guide to direct university educational program in order to assess the current capabilities in the field of clothing and fashion.

대학 취업지원 프로그램의 실효성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of University Employment Support Programs)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학 취업지원센터에서 제공하는 취업지원 프로그램의 실효성을 평가하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 K대학에서 운영하는 17개 취업지원 프로그램을 기업연계, 상담, 자격증, 채용지원, 특강 등 6개 차원으로 구분하였고, 최근 취업한 졸업생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시해 유용성을 평가하였다. 그 결과 모든 취업지원 프로그램은 보통 이상의 유용성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 차원별로는 자격증, 취업지원, 해외, 특강, 상담, 기업연계 관련 프로그램의 순으로 유용성이 높게 집계되었다. 이중 기업연계, 특강, 상담 관련 프로그램은 취업지원 프로그램의 전반적유용성을 높여주는 요인으로 분석되었다. 따라서 취업지원센터는 신규 프로그램을 계획할 때, 기업연계, 특강, 상담 관련 프로그램을 우선 기획하는 것이 바람직한 방향일 것이다.

외국인 고용허가제 도입에 따른 효율적 노동인력 수급에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Work Force Supply-Demand According to the Employment Permit System for Foreigners)

  • The employment permit system for foreigners, which stresses introduction of foreign work force in a legal manner rather than in the position of being trainees, is anticipated to efficiently improve introduction and the overall management system of foreign work force and related difficulties such as illegal alien problems, absurdity on sending laborers overseas. In this paper, a prospective model of supply and demand of work force has been developed basing on various categories of industries and patterns about nationally practical foreign employees to look over efficient supply and demand of work force suiting employment of foreigner among foreign work force policies. To propose the prospective model, we have derived industry- and pattern-related matrixes of foreign laborers basing on Inter-Industry Analysis Method put forth by Professor Leontiyef in 1930, and through the derived matrix assessed repercussions concerning overall domestic industries and foreigner types and decided yearly weight; the capacity of supply and demand of foreign laborers can be compared through proposed statistical estimation and government estimation by combining the determined weight with yearly incomes of foreign laborers. This paper has thoroughly considered the particularity of our employment permit system for foreigners and applied the Weibull distribution and incorporated the dependence of foreign laborers during the limited period of 3 years to the industry relation analysis, ultimately proposing an efficient supply and demand method about domestic foreign work force.

4차산업혁명 대응 기술로서 로봇이 노동 시장과 무역에 미치는 영향 (The effects of Robot as 4th industry revolution Technology on Labor Market and Trade)

  • As a 4th industrial revolution technology, robots are changing the form of labor market and trade in Korea. In the future, changes in the international trade order are expected to move in the direction of shortening global supply chains and restricting trade between countries. Accordingly, reshoring of relocating overseas production facilities to Korea or near-shoring of relocating overseas production facilities to neighboring allies may expand. In this context, this study analyzed the impact of robot introduction on the domestic labor market and trade based on firm-level data. As a result of analysis based on the 'business activity data' accumulated from 2017 to 2019, the introduction of robot technology was analyzed to expand low-wage, low-skilled employment. Analysis on trade shows that the introduction of robots decreases exports and increases imports. In order to expand exports through the technology of the 4th industrial revolution, employment expansion and robot introduction should occur at the same time, rather than replacing the labor force with robots. In addition, it is thought that reshoring's goal of risk management can be achieved when a stable supply chain for imports of raw materials or essential goods, which are difficult to transfer to Korea, is established together.

한국 간호사의 국제적 이동 (International Migration of Korean Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the Korean nurses' international migration to provide the basic data for establishing plans of supply and demand for nurses and the status of Korean nurses' application for foreign nurse licenses and overseas employment. Method: The subjects were 5.447 nurses who requested English written nurse license to the Ministry of Health and Welfare for the application of foreign nurse license examinations and overseas employment. Human Resources Development of Korea provided documents of nurses migrated to Saudi Arabia. Data were collected from December, 2002 to July, 2003 and analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Result: The total applicants for foreign nurse license were 3,149 for 2 years. In the year 2001, 1.129 nurses applied, 2,020 nurses in the year 2002. Out of 3,149 total subjects, 2,705(85.9%)nurses applied for U. S. A. nurse license. Eighty percent of the applicants of the U. S. A. nurse license examination applied for the New York states. The number of applicants for Canada was 215(6.8%), followed by Australia 88(2.8%), U. K. 86(2.7%), and New Zealand 45(1.4%). Average age of the applicants was 31, 49.0% of them were in their twenties. Three year college graduates accounted for 64.1% B.S.N. 33.9%. Applicants graduated from universities or colleges of Seoul area were 37.3%, followed by Daegu. The total number of nurses employed overseas were 1,291 during 2001 and 2002. Seven hundred thirty eight nurses(57.2%) were employed in the U. S. A.. Average age was 34, 60.9% were 3year college graduates, nurses graduated from Seoul area were 44.9%. No one applied for Saudi Arabian nurse license, 172 nurses were employed during 1999 and 2002, 39.5% of them were in their thirties. Conclusion: The results of this study shows relatively young and experienced nurses have intention to migrate internationally and they actually migrate to other countries. Comparing the number of nurses migrating to other country with the number of newly issued nurse licenses in Korea every year. the percentage of overseas employment was relatively high. To cope with Korean nurses international migration. new policy to monitor the status of nurse's international migration and an institution to deal with the affairs should be established. And the further study is needed to measure nurse's competence and influencing factors of Korean nurses employed in the U. S. A.
