  • 초고층 건축물은 층수의 증가에 비해서 공기의 증가가 작기 때문에 공기초과가 발생하기 쉽다. 최근 초고층 프로젝트의 증가에 따라 공정계획의 중요성이 증대되고 있으며 공정관리를 개선하기 위해서 공정계획 소프트웨어의 도입과 교육이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 공정계획의 많은 부분은 아직도 계획자의 경험에 크게 의존하고 있다. 따라서 새로운 자재, 장비 및 공법이 도입되는 초고층 프로젝트는 공정 계획자의 경험이 부족할 경우, 경험 미숙으로 인한 공기초과가 발생하기 쉽다. 공정 계획자의 경험 미숙으로 인한 공정계획의 편차를 줄이기 위한 방안으로 본 연구에서는 전문가의 경험적 지식을 초고층 공정계획 작성에 활용하는 방안을 제안하였다. 사례연구에서는 초고층 골조공종을 대상으로 하여 본 연구에서 제안한 초고층 공정계획 지원시스템의 지식획득과 지식활용방안을 고찰하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 지식획득과 지식활용을 토대로 초고층 공정계획 지원시스템을 구축하여 활용한다면 초고층 공정계획의 정확성을 높일 수 있으며 공기초과를 예방할 수 있을 것이다.

프로바이오틱스를 이용한 발효 깻잎 아이스크림의 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Fermented Perilla Leaves Ice Cream Using Probiotics)

  • 본 연구는 Lactobacillus acidophilus KCTC 3164 균주에 의해 발효된 깻잎 발효 추출물(5%, 10%, 15%, 및 20% w/v)을 기능성 첨가제로 사용하여 깻잎 발효물이 첨가된 아이스크림을 제조함이 목적이다. 깻잎 발효물이 첨가된 아이스크림의 물리·화학적 특성(색상, 점도, pH, 총 산도, 녹는 속도, 오버런) 및 항산화 활성을 평가하였다. 깻잎 발효물 첨가량이 증가할수록 아이스크림의 색상에 영향을 주었으며, 아이스크림의 녹는 속도도 증가하였다. 이에 반해 점도는 점차적으로 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 깻잎 발효물 첨가량이 높을수록 오버런은 점진적으로 증가하였고, pH는 유의하게 감소하였으며, 총 산도는 증가하였다. 깻잎 발효물이 첨가된 아이스크림의 DPPH 라디컬 소거능과 총 폴리페놀 함량은 깻잎 발효물 첨가량이 많아질수록 유의적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 10% 깻잎 발효추출물을 함유한 아이스크림 실험군이 높은 오버런, 낮은 녹는 속도, 원하는 점도, 높은 DPPH 라디컬 소거능과 총 폴리페놀 함량을 보여 기능성 아이스크림으로의 잠재력이 있는 것을 알 수 있었다.

The Influence of Food Hydrocolloids on Changes in the Physical Properties of Ice Cream

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effect of hydrocolloids on the changes in physical properties of a model ice cream. The model ice cream contained water, sugar, skin milk powder, com oil, and 4 different hydrocolloid stabilizers (gelatin, pectin, hydroxyethylstarch, locust bean gum), was manufactured in a batch type freezer. The following physical characteristics of ice cream were examined: flow behavior, overrun, air cell size, ice crystal size, and melt resistance. With regard to flow behavior, all of aged mixes had a lower apparent viscosity relative to the mix before aging, and ice cream mix containing locust bean gum had the highest viscosity. Air cell size was observed to range from 20 to $38\;{\mu}m$, and ice cream with locust bean gum showed the largest size. There was an inverse correlation between overrun and air cell size. The ice crystal sizes of all samples ranged from 25 to $35\;{\mu}m$. Ice cream with added pectin contained the smallest ice crystal size, which was significantly difference from other stabilizers (p<0.05), and resulted in superior melt resistance with increased melting time compared to other samples.

  • VOD 서비스의 대부분 정책들은 주로 서버 시스템에 대해 연구되고 있고, 단절감 없는 재생과 재생질 보증의 근간이 되는 클라이언트의 버퍼 안정화 문제에 대해서는 언급되지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 클라이언트의 버퍼 상태가 스타베이션 또는 오버런인 경우 서버에 동적인 제어신호를 발하고, 서버에서는 수신된 제어 요구 신호에 따라 프레임을 생략하여 전송하는 정책을 제안한다. 그리고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안 정책이 클라이언트의 버퍼 상태 악화로 인한 프레임의 미수신 및 손실을 방지하여 클라이언트의 버퍼를 안정화시켜 재생질 보증에 더 효율적임을 보인다.

Functional Properties of Cholesterol-removed Compound Whipping Cream by Palm Oil

  • The present study was carried out to examine the changes in functional properties of cholesterol-removed compound whipping cream made by $\beta$-CD treated cream and palm oil. Six different ratios of cream to palm oil (10:0 as control, 9:1, 8:2, 7:3, 6:4, and 5:5, v/v) were tested. The overrun percentage increased with an increased amount of palm oil. When the ratio of cream to palm oil was 10:0 (control), the overrun was 130%, which was significantly lower than other ratios reached to 150%. Foam instability was measured as 3.1 ml defoamed cream in control, however, the value of foam instability decreased with an increase of palm oil addition. The TBA value of cholesterol-removed compound whipping cream increased from 0.08 to 0.13 with no addition of palm oil during 4 wk storage. When the ratio of cream to palm oil was 5:5, TBA value increased dramatically at 3 wk and thereafter. Among sensory characteristics, texture value increased with higher amount of palm oil, however, flavor and overall preferences were opposite. Above results indicated that partial substitution of palm oil in manufacture of cholesterol-removed compound whipping cream resulted in a stable foam development with little adverse effect on flavor and lipid oxidation during storage. The present study showed a possible application in manufacture of cholesterol-removed compound whipping cream, which may be effective in other foods.

활주로안전구역 위험평가 개선모델 적용 연구 (An Application of the Improved Models for Risk Assessment of Runway Safety Areas)

  • The RSA is intended to prevent the following five types of events from becoming an accident: landing overruns, landing undershoots, landing veer-offs, takeoff overruns and takeoff veer-offs. The improved models are based on evidence from worldwide accidents and incidents that occurred during the past 27 years. The analysis utilizes historical data from the specific airport and allows the user to take into consideration specific operational conditions to which movements are subject, as well as the actual or planned RSA conditions in terms of dimensions, configuration, type of terrain, and boundaries defined by existing obstacles. This paper shows how to apply the improved models for Risk Assessment of Runway Safety Areas (Airport cooperative research program(ACRP) Report 50) into an airport and the outcome differences between the old models based on ACRP report 3-Analysis of aircraft overrun and undershoots for runway safety areas and the new models from ACRP report 50 in the specific airport.

  • A lot of very complex free-form buildings such as Seoul City Office and DDP(Dongdaemun Design Plaza) have been recently built nowadays in domestic. However, as construction methods and cost data are decided without enough discussion and collaboration with specialized subcontractors during design stage, construction quality problems and cost overrun of the free-form buildings are thus occurred during construction stage. Therefore design system and process or contract and ordering system should be developed participating the specialized subcontractors during design stage in order to perfect the free-form design and construction. Especially US has thus an effort to apply IPD(Integrated Project Delivery) system which can solve the problems of construction quality, productivity decrease and cost overrun by constructing the buildings based on exact drawings and collaboration as well as activating BIM(Building Information Modeling). Therefore this study reviews cases of the free-form buildings in domestic and then presents necessity review of IPD in domestic.

  • The use of rapid prototyping (RP) has reduced time to market, cut total costs and improved product quality by giving design and manufacturing teams the opportunity to verify and fine tune designs before committing them to expensive tooling and fabrication. In order to improve their unique characteristics according to the working principles, Variable Lamination Manufacturing process (VLM-ST) and corresponding CAD/CAM software (VLM-Slicer) is developed. The objective of this study is to improve the accuracy of VLM-ST process, and it can be done by offset fur cutting error correction, cutting path overrun fur sharp edge and reference shape generation for off-line stacking. It has been shown that, through the verification experiments for given practical shapes, the proposed algorithms are effective for diverse categories of three-dimensional shapes.

Prediction Model of Final Project Cost using Multivariate Probabilistic Analysis (MPA) and Bayes' Theorem

  • This paper introduces a tool for predicting potential cost overrun during project execution and for quantifying the uncertainty on the expected project cost, which is occasionally changed by the unknown effects resulted from project's complications and unforeseen environments. The model proposed in this stuff is useful in diagnosing cost performance as a project progresses and in monitoring the changes of the uncertainty as indicators for a warning signal. This model is intended for the use by project managers who forecast the change of the uncertainty and its magnitude. The paper presents a mathematical approach for modifying the costs of incomplete work packages and project cost, and quantifying reduced uncertainties at a consistent confidence level as actual cost information of an ongoing project is obtained. Furthermore, this approach addresses the effects of actual informed data of completed work packages on the re-estimates of incomplete work packages and describes the impacts on the variation of the uncertainty for the expected project cost incorporating Multivariate Probabilistic Analysis (MPA) and Bayes' Theorem. For the illustration purpose, the Introduced model has employed an example construction project. The results are analyzed to demonstrate the use of the model and illustrate its capabilities.
