Inner Evaporative Cooling Wind Power Generator with Non-overlapping Concentrated Windings

  • As the space of the wind power generator stator end is limited, it is difficult for us to place the inner evaporative cooling system in it. We use the non-overlapping concentrated windings scheme to solve the placing and cooling problem. The characteristic of a 5MW direct-driven permanent magnet generator with non-overlapping concentrated windings were analyzed under no-load, rating-load and short-circuit by (Finite Element Method) FEM for verification of design. We studied the connection methods of the stator windings and designed the end connection member. The heat dissipation of the stator end was simulated by FEM, the result showed that the end cooling could satisfy the wind generator operation needs. These results show that the direct-driven permanent magnet wind power generators with non-overlapping concentrated windings and inner evaporative cooling system can solve the cooling problem of wind power generator, and obtain good performance at the same time.

  • This paper presents a primary study for a new method of enhancing measurement using impedance analysis method, which is widely used for structure health monitoring. Many of skyscrapers, bridges, tunnels, which have been built up several years, and nearly reached their operating life due to aging crack, material deterioration, and so on. therefore, the health monitoring technique has obtained considerable attention. The usage of the PZT sensor is proposed, and the coupling torque of bolt-connection overlapping beam is assumed. By using the torque wrench, it is easy to apply torque of different values to each bolt. The coupling torque is adjusted gradually from $3N{\cdot}m\;to\;0N{\cdot}m$ with the decrement of $1N{\cdot}m$. Simultaneously, the impedance peak variation is measured. The peak frequency variation can be determined through the change of bolt coupling torque.

장애물의 기하투영에 의한 일차매개곡선을 이용한 충돌회피 경로계획 (A collision-free path planning using linear parametric curve based on geometry mapping of obstacles)

  • A new algorithm for planning a collision-free path is developed based on linear prametric curve. In this paper robot is assumed to a point, and two linear parametric curve is used to construct a path connecting start and goal point, in which single intermediate connection point between start and goal point is considered. The intermediate connection point is set in polar coordinate(${\theta}{\delta}$) , and the interference between path and obstacle is mapped into CPS(connection point space), which is defined a CWS GM(circular work space geometry mapping). GM of all obstacles in workspace creates overlapping images of obstacle in CPS(Connection Point Space). The GM for all obstacles produces overlapping images of obstacle in CPS. The empty area of CPS that is not occupied by obstacle images represents collision-free paths in Euclidian Space. A GM based on connection point in elliptic coordinate(${\theta}{\delta}$) is also developed in that the total length of path is depend only on the variable .delta.. Hence in EWS GM(elliptic work space geometry mapping), increasing .delta. and finding the value of .delta. for collision-free path, the shortest path can be searched without carring out whole GM. The GM of obstacles expersses all possible collision-free path as empty spaces in CPS. If there is no empty space available in CPS, it indicates that path planning is not possible with given number of connection points, i.e. path planning is failed, and it is necessary to increase the number of connection point. A general case collision-free path planning is possible by appling GM to configuration space obstacles. Simulation of GM of obstacles in Euclidian space is carried out to measure performance of algorithm and the resulting obstacle images are reported.

패션 일러스트레이션에서의 이미지 가상화 연구 (A Study on the Image-Virtualization in Fashion Illustration)

  • Image which appears in fashion illustration on the late twentieth century is not the representative image as an equivalence to the real fashion styles but the virtual image which bears no relation to any reality. The purpose of this study is review the concept of virtuality and analyze in which way virtual image is expressed in fashion illustrations on the background of Jean Baudrillard's simulacre theory. In post-modem paintings the expression methods of image-virtualization were image mixing through photo-image appropriation, image overlapping, and the icons inserted unreasonably, the focus-out effect through scrubbing and the over-painting on the photograph. Image-virtualization in fashion illustration was expressed through image mixing and expression of image uncertainty. Image mixing was made by photo-image appropriation, image overlapping, connection of heterogeneous images and using interface image, and uncertain image was expressed through the expression of visual ambiguity and virtual movement.

한복 여자두루마기 원형설계의 표준화를 위한 연구 (Standardization of Pattern Design of Korean Traditional Women's Durumgi)

  • So far, the graphics of Korean clothing have focused on maintenance of forms without specific improvement. In particular, in the archetypal design of a Jeogori, ambiguous standards on the overlapping of left and right collars and collar strips cause problems in the teaching and teaming of Korean traditional clothing. As a result, the graphics of men's Durumagis based on a Korean Jeogori have the same problems as Jeogoris and the connection between them has not been sufficiently studied. Design of "Moo" in respect to graphics of men's Durumagis has its own calculation equation or measures, but they can not be generalized. This study therefore considers the existing graphics of men's Durumagis or approaches of Moo in different angles by reviewing the connection between Durumagis and Jeogoris. Therefore, archetypal forms of Durumagis are designed with a radius of a circle using one's height and the girth of one's chest, which contributes to symmetry of the collars and teaming effects through scientific graphics of "Moo." It is further expected that can be mass-produced through archetypal design of overcoats and graphics of "Moo" of Durumagis that can be standardized as well as connection between graphics of Jeogoris and Jeogoris.

부스 바의 체결 및 중첩 구간에 따른 접촉 저항에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Contact Resistance according to the Tightening and Overlapping area of Bus Bar)

  • 부스 바는 초고층 빌딩의 전력공급과 플랜트 산업의 전원 공급부 및 장비 제조 산업 분야의 배전반에 널리 사용되는 전기적인 접속 구조이다. 부스 바의 설계 시 고려해야 할 사항으로 사용 환경에 따른 재질, 전원 용량에 따른 단면적, 표면둘레의 길이, 체결 방법 등이 있다. 설계 시 충분한 전원 용량의 사이즈로 제작된 부스 바의 경우에도 실제 체결이 잘못 될 경우 열화에 의한 화재로 이어질 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 전기적 접촉부의 온도 상승에 대한 다양한 연구가 지속되어 왔다. 그러나 접촉부의 온도 상승은 결과에 기인한 현상이지 직접적인 원인은 아니다. 본 논문은 부스 바의 체결력과 중첩 구간에 따른 접촉 저항의 영향성에 대한 연구로 시편을 제작하여 저항의 변화를 측정하여 영향력을 분석하였다. 총 8개의 부스 바시편을 제작하여 측정하였고 각각의 시편을 교차하여 체결시 가해지는 체결력과 중첩 구간의 간격을 가변하여 저항을 측정하였다. 실험 결과를 통해 이러한 요인이 실제 접촉 저항의 변화에 어느 정도 기여하는지를 분석하여 안전한 전원 연결 장치의 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develope a heuristic algorithm to maximize reduction rate of the processing time by the connection of neighbored machines. A method to calculate the start-lag and stop-lag for the overlapping production is proposed and applied. The heuristic procedure of this paper has 3 steps. In the first and second step, the job oriented procedure is applied. In the final step, the operation oriented procedure is applied. In order to evaluate the performance of this algorithm, three kinds of performance measures are selected and randomly generated problems are tested.

  • A new algorithm for planning a collision free path is developed based on linear parametric curve. A collision-free path is viewed as a connected space curve in which the path consists of two straight curve connecting start to target point. A single intermediate connection point is considered in this paper and is used to manipulate the shape of path by organizing the control point in polar coordinate (.theta.,.rho.). The algorithm checks interference with obstacles, defined as GM (Geometry Mapping), and maps obstacles in Euclidean Space into images in CPS (Connection Point Space). The GM for all obstacles produces overlapping images of obstacle in CPS. The clear area of CPS that is not occupied by obstacle images represents collision-free paths in Euclidean Space. Any points from the clear area of CPS is a candidate for a collision-free path. A simulation of GM for number of cases are carried out and results are presented including mapped images of GM and performances of algorithm.

블루투스 Piconet에서 ACL/SCO 링크의 패킷 성능 시뮬레이션 (Packet Performance Simulation of ACL/SCO Link in Bluetooth Piconet)

  • 무선 접속 방식으로 블루투스의 출현은 즉석에서 전자기기들을 ad-hoc 망으로 다룰 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 근거리 ad-hoc 무선망을 피코넷이라고 부르며 무허가 2.45 GHz ISM(Industrial, Scientific, Medical) 대역에서 운용된다. 본 논문에서는 무선 ad-hoc 환경에서 블루투스 ACL/SCO(Asynchronous Connection Less/Synchronous Connection Oriented) 링크의 패킷 형태에 따른 피코넷의 PER(Packet Error Rate), 패킷수신율, 페이로드 BER (Bit Error Rate)을 시뮬레이션하였다. 채널 모델로서 레일리 페이딩의 영향이 고려되었고 불루투스 기저대역 규격에 따라서 시뮬레이션하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과로부터 불루투스 피코넷의 PER과 처리율은 ACL/SCO 링크의 패킷 형태에 민감하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

버스 정류소 주변에서 자동차-이동기지국 (V2MR) 통신의 연결시간에 대한 성능분석모형 (Model for the Connection-Time of Vehicle-to-Mobile RSU (V2MR) Communications Near a Bus Station)

  • 자동차 통신망의 구축비용을 획기적으로 절감하기 위해 자동차 통신망과 이동통신망을 연결하는 기지국을 대중교통수단인 버스에 설치한 자동차-이동기지국 (Vehicle-to-Mobile Roadside Unit, V2MR) 통신에 대해 연구한다. 자동차-이동기지국 통신에서 자동차들은 이동기지국에 애드 혹 연결을 설정하여 연결성을 크게 향상한다. 본 논문에서는 동일한 경로를 주행하는 자동차들과 이동기지국 간의 통신연결 시간에 대한 새로운 분석모형을 제시한다. 자동차 통신망에서 연결시간은 매우 동적이고 예측하기 힘들기 때문에, 본 논문에서 제안하는 분석모형은 자동차-이동기지국 간의 통신연결 시간을 예측하기 위한 토대를 제공할 수 있다. VEINS 시뮬에이션을 통해 수집한 실험결과를 통해 제안하는 성능분석모형이 V2MR 통신연결시간 추정 오차를 약 1 퍼센트 이내로 줄일 수 있음을 보인다. 또한, V2MR 통신이 V2R 통신에 비해 통신연결 시간을 약 3.85배 증가시킬 수 있음을 보인다.
