수도권 교통카드자료를 활용한 무임승차제도의 탄력적 운영방안 (A Flexible Operation Plan of Free Ride System Based on Transport Card Data in Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • 현행 지하철 무임승차제도는 1980년 도입된 이후 지금까지 시행되고 있지만 고령화 인구가 지속적으로 증가함에 따라 무임승차 대상자 역시 증가하고 있다. 이러한 상황은 결국 도시철도 재정지원 부담으로 작용하고 있다. 또한 지하철과 버스 간 원활한 환승서비스 구축이 미흡함에 따라 무임수송제도는 반쪽짜리 복지라는 평가를 받기도 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 무임승차대상자의 카드자료를 분석하여 경제학적인 측면에서의 영향을 파악한다. 또한 통행패턴에 따른 대중교통수단간 환승패턴을 분석하고, 국외사례와 비교하여 이에 대한 문제점을 제시하였다. 현행 무임승차제도를 개선할 수 있는 방안을 마련하고, 이를 지원할 수 있는 대안을 제시하였다. 이를 통하여 현행 도시철도 운영기관의 운영적자 해소방안 및 향후 고령인구 증가에 따른 대중교통측면의 복지서비스 제공 등 무임승차제도 관련 교통정책의 발전방안을 제시하였다.

이동식 배출가스 측정장비를 이용한 소형 경유 자동차의 실도로 질소산화물 배출특성 분석 (Evaluation of On-Road NOx Emission from a Light Duty Diesel Vehicle using a Portable Emissions Measurement System)

  • The purpose of this research is to quantify the compliance of on-road emission from a light duty diesel vehicle, based on a comparison to emission regulation standard. $NO_x$, CO and THC emissions were measured using a portable device on a selected real-world driving route with a length of approximately 22 km. On-road measurements were repeated by 10 times on a same route to reflect variability in traffic conditions. A test route was divided into 22 road links with length of 1 km to analyze emission results with higher spatial resolution. The average emissions of $NO_x$, CO and THC over total travel distance, which is approximately 220 km, were quantified to be in compliance with emission regulation standards. Under higher spatial resolution, $NO_x$ concentration exceeded a standard in 92 links out of 220 links. The extended time in stop period and the stop-and-go driving cycle were identified as two important reasons for increased $NO_x$ emissions in observed cases. Heavy traffics showed higher $NO_x$ emissions than free flow. These results indicate that the real-world vehicle emissions might exceed the compliance level associate with traffic conditions. Another interesting observation of this research is that the on-road emission characteristics can be independent to the average speed of road links with higher spatial resolution. Variability in on-road emission might not be fully described by solely relying on an average speed, because variability in traffic conditions and road conditions can influence on real-world vehicle emissions.

도로 위에 존재하는 이동객체의 궤적에 대한 네트워크 기반의 색인 방법 (A Network-based Indexing Method for Trajectories of Moving Objects on Roads)

  • 최근 많은 연구들이 유클리디안 공간을 기반으로 대용량의 이동객체 궤적 데이터를 효율적으로 다루기 위해 진행되어 왔다. 그러나, 일반적으로 실제 응용분야에서는 이동객체가 움직일 수 있는 공간은 제한적이다. 예를 들어, 도로 위에 존재하는 자동차들은 서로 연결된 도로망을 통해서만 이동할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 도로 위의 이동객체 궤적에 대하여 시공간 영역 질의를 처리할 수 있는 네트워크 기반의 색인방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 질의 처리 과정에서 네트워크 상의 거리를 이용하기 위해서 도로 네트워크의 연결정보를 색인구조에 포함한다. 그리고, 이동객체의 위치 정보를 도로를 구성하는 도로 선분요소 정보를 이용하여 표현하고 이를 단위로 여러 개의 R-tree를 사용하여 이동객체 궤적들을 관리한다. 또한, 여러 개의 도로 선분요소 사이에 하나의 R-tree를 공유할 수 있는 구조를 가짐으로써, 큰 도로 네트워크 데이터에서도 적용할 수 있다. 우리는 실험을 통해서 네트워크 거리를 기반으로 시공간 영역질의를 처리하는 것은 기존의 유클리디안 거리 기반의 방법들 보다 대략 30%의 성능향상을 보임을 보여준다.

도로이동오염원 배출량 산정을 위한 Bottom-Up Approach 기법의 개선에 관한 연구 (An Improvement of Bottom Up Approach for Estimating the Mobile Emission Level)

  • 교통 환경문제로 대표되는 차량의 배기가스에 의한 대기오염은 삶의 질과 국민보건에 대한 관심뿐 아니라 범세계적인 문제로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 교통수요모형과 GIS를 이용하여 도로이동오염원에 대한 시공간적 고해상도의 배출량 산정 방식을 제시하여 정부와 지자체가 효과적으로 대기 질 개선 정책을 수립 추진할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 이에 차량의 통행특성을 반영하는 Bottom-Up Approach 기법을 기반으로 총 주행거리를 실측치로 보정한 교통모형과 차량의 특성에 적합한 배출계수를 적용할 수 있는 대기모형을 이용한 개선된 기법을 제시하였다. 즉, 새로운 대안으로 교통-대기 통합패러다임에 의해 이를 연계한 도로이동오염원의 배출량 산정기법을 제시함으로써, 도로이동오염원 배출량의 신뢰도 개선이 기대되어진다.

지역 간 상호연계에 기반 한 농촌과 도시 간 생활권의 차이 - 부산.울산 광역도시권을 중심으로 - (Disparity between Rural and Urban Living Area Based on Regional Interaction - Focused on Busan-Ulsan mega city -)

  • Daily living area can be delimited differently depending on what area is to be focused. Based on regional interaction, the present study empirically analyzed the difference between living areas focusing on rural area and ones relying on urban area. We established two types of living areas in Busan-Ulsan mega city with different focus areas (rural versus urban), using travel OD data (2006). According to the result, the fonn of spatial clusters in urban living area differed from that of spatial clusters in rural area; the boundaries of living area were not fit to those of administrative areas in both types; and living areas in both types tended to extend over more than two administrative areas. The results cast some implications concerning spatial planning and policy for living area delimitation. First, since the spatial structure and interconnection of urban area differs to those of rural area, it is required to delimit living areas discriminatively depending on the objectives of the spatial plan. Additionally, the living area should be established more specifically and systematically by further subdividing the form of spaces depending on the objectives and types of the plan. Second, the administrative areas should be consolidated now that the difference of boundaries of administrative and living areas lead to inconvenience of residents, increased administration costs and scale diseconomy. Lastly, the living areas should be delimited by the metropolitan or mega city planning and thus be reflected to its offsprings.

국제개발협력사업의 마을도로 건설 비용편익 분석 - KOICA 베트남 라오까이 행복프로그램 적용사례 - (A Cost-Benefit Analysis of Road Construction in International Development Cooperation Project - A Case of KOICA's Lao Cai Happiness Program in Vietnam -)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the cost-benefit of a road construction project in Vietnam through international development cooperation, which includes private grants and Official Development Assistance(ODA). In developing countries, it is difficult and costly to use data on markets, the CVM(Contingent Valuation Method) to measure the WTP(Willingness-to-Pay) as the benefits of road construction are used. A total of 232 villagers in 16 villages of Lao Cai Province in Northern Vietnam have been surveyed. It is found that the Benefit-Cost Ratio(B/C) in all 3 models are found to be well over 1.0, ranging from 2.8 to 3.64 with the discount rate of 0.06. These BC ratios imply the road construction project in Lao Cai can be justified. Also, it is found that the shortened travel time is the most relevant factor for WTP among direct benefits and the enhanced academic achievement of the children is the most relevant factor among indirect benefits, due to easier and faster access to schools, which in turn increase the school attendance rate. The result of this study can be used to justify other similar projects in Vietnam, even though the benefits may have to be reassessed in other countries.

공간분석을 이용한 외래의료서비스 접근성 요인분석 (Factors Affecting Spatial Distance to Outpatient Health Services)

  • Access to health care is complicated to define. It is a multidimensional process. In addition to the matters of quality of care, geographical accessibility and availability of the right type of care, finance, and acceptability are all involved. The purposes of this paper are to measure the geographic distances between patient residency locations and health service organizations in which the patients hadvisited, and to investigate the association between geographical distance measures and variables involved in health service utilization. The study used the first and the second wave of the 2008 Korea Health Panel Survey. The samples of analyses were patients who had visited outpatient or used ambulatory health services, and the total observations (visit numbers) analyzed were 229,128. We divided the samples into a frequent-visit illness group (Group 1) and a non-frequent visit illness group (Group 2) based on over 5,000 total visit numbers. We exploited three level analyses using xtmixed of STATA${\Box}$ 11.1 command with/without interaction terms among age, sex, and occupation. Geographical distances were measured using the Haversine method. Group 1 was tended to older and lower equivalent income than those of Group 2, but the geographic difference were not observed in terms of area deprivation index and standard mortality ratios. Amongst group 1, diabetes mellitus patients travelled far to visit health care organizations, and arthritis patients were more deprived in terms of the personal and areal characteristics. The study revealed that residents in rural areas traveled about 10 times more long distances than those whom lived in larger cities after adjusting for various variables, which we used for analyses. This study contributed to the practical understanding of health service utilizations using empirical analyses, and found that the types of diseases and socioeconomic characteristics of patients tended to define the amount of travel distance to healthcare organizations.

Period Study and Light Curve Synthesis of BD Andromedae

  • New CCD BVR light curves of BD And are presented. Our light curves with nearly equal depths for both primary and secondary eclipses show well-defined photometric waves outside eclipse for all of BVR bandpasses. The orbital period is greatly revised as $0.^d92580519$ which is twice longer than that known previously. Sixteen timings from our observations and thirteen ones from the SuperWASP measurements were calculated. All available timings over 76 years, including ours, were analyzed to figure out the dynamical behavior of the system. It was found that the recent CCD O-C residuals varied in a cyclical way with a period of $9.^y18$ and a semi-amplitude of $0.^d0046$. The secondary period of $9.^y18$ is the most shortest one among those which have been ever found in the short period RS CVn binary stars. The periodic variation most likely arises from the light-travel time effect due to a low-mass ($m_3{\sim}0.88\;M_{\odot}$) tertiary companion moving in an orbit with an large eccentricity ($e_3$=0.70) and a low inclination ($i_3{\sim}28^{\circ}$). The Applegate mechanism could not operate properly in both components because the model parameters require too much large luminosity changes of ${\Delta}L/L_{p,s}$ > 10. The new light curves were synthesized using the 2003 version of Wilson-Divinney code. It was found useful to model two huge spots on the surface of the hotter star and a third-light in order to minimize the residuals from the observations. Astronomical basic parameters were deduced from our photometric solution.

장루보유자의 자가 간호정도 및 문제점에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self Care and the Problems in Patient with Ostomy)

  • This study was conducted to confirm the degree of self care and problems in patients with ostomy. The subjects were 80 patients with ostomy who were visiting to OPD in K University Medical Center and were members in the Ostomy Association of Korea. Data were collected from August, 2004 to September. The research tools were a self care measure for ostomy patient developed by Park (1996) and a problem measure for ostomy patient developed by Lee (1996). Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation. The results were as following: 1. Male (65.8%) and female (34.2%) had the ostomy in the most. Age was the most 61 years old and over. 68.5% of the subjects had managed the ostomy by themselves. 2. The mean score of self care in ostomy was 3.57 score. Hygiene of skin care around ostomy in the behavior of self care was the highest as mean 4.47 score. 3. The problems were as following: 1) expense 2) a decline on Activity of Daily Living 3) discomfort in travel 4) worry about ostomy 5) trouble of workplace 4. In the relationship between self care and religion there was significant difference in religion(t= 2.727, P=.008). 5. The relationship between self care and problem with ostomy was found to have statistically significant negative correlation(r= -.237, P=.041).

3지교차로에서의 연속좌회전(TPCLT)신호운영에 관한 연구 (A Study of TPCLT(Twice Per Cycle Left-Turn) Operation Impact at Three-legged Signalized Intersection)

  • TPCLT는 한 신호주기 내에 좌회전을 두 번 주는 신호운영방법으로서, 본 연구에서는 국내에 TPCLT 신호를 시범운영 중인 교차로를 분석대상으로 VISSIM 교통모의분석 프로그램과 SSAM 모형 분석을 통해 그 효과성을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석 대상 교차로에 TPCLT 적용 전 후, 주기를 변화시킨 경우를 교통모의분석 하였으며, 9개의 좌회전교통량 시나리오를 작성하여 효과척도로 선정한 차량 당 평균 제어지체시간과 통행시간을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 총 지체시간 측면에서 현황~+50% 좌회전교통량 시나리오 구간에서 TPCLT 적용한 경우 가장 효과적인 것으로 도출되었다.
