역행성 견관절 전치환술은 우리나라에 2007년에 도입된 이래로 행해지는 수가 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 이번 종설을 통해서 역행성 견관절 전치환술이 개발된 생역학적 기전과 수술의 결과에 대해 논하고자 한다. 또한 수술 후 발생할 수 있는 합병증을 최소화시킬 수 있는 방법과 발생 시 대처방안에 대해서도 알아보고자 한다.

Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) are among the most serious complications of diabetes and are a source of reduced quality of life and financial burden for the people involved. For effective DFU management, an evidence-based treatment strategy that considers the patient's clinical context and wound condition is required. This treatment strategy should include conventional practices (surgical debridement, antibiotics, vascular assessment, offloading, and amputation) coordinated by interdisciplinary DFU experts. In addition, several adjuvant therapies can be considered for nonhealing wounds. In this narrative review, we aim to highlight the current trends in DFU management and review the up-to-date guidelines.

Benign cystic lesions, have to be differentiated, are common in the calcaneus, Among the lesions the intraosseous lipoma is extremely rare tumor in bone. In 1996, Unni reported 7 in 11,087 cases of bone tumors at Mayo Clinic. In Korea, Ahn reported the first intraosseous lipoma in the distal fibula. We experienced two cases of intraosseous lipoma of calcaneus, and report the clinical, radiological and pathological findings with a review of the literatures.

We experienced a patient in whom rupture of the peroneus longus tendon occurred after ostectomy of the peroneus tubercle of the calcaneus. Acute rupture of the peroneus tendon can be managed by end-to-end anastomosis, while neglected cases can be treated by tenodesis, tendon transfer, or tendon graft. In the current patient, the tendon ends were mildly retracted, yielding a small gap. We successfully repaired the retracted tendon ends after lengthening by Z-plasty.

This article was researched that the question for cognition, requirement, plan of activation of the orthopaedic physical therapist in physical therapy room of public health center. We analysed with SPSS/10.0 stastistics programs returned 123 questionnaire. These results were followed. 1. Ratio of physical therapist in the physical therapy room of public health center was that mail were 47.2% and female were 52.8%. 2. The physical therapy room of public health center was made an introduction in 1980 and has since been opened. in 100 places. 3. 100 physical therapist (81.3%) were aware the impotance of orthopaedic physical therapy. 4. The members of orthopaedic physical therapy academy were 17 people(13.8%) including an associate member. 5. The physical therapist takened a course of orthopaedic education was 37 people (30.1%). 6. The physical therapist wanted that to take part in orthopaedic education were 60 people(48.8%). 7. The physical therapist were required the orthopaedic physical therapist in physical therapy room of public health center were 87 people(70.7%).

Avascular necrosis is a significant late complication of talar neck fracture. However, treatment for early stage avascular necrosis has been not established. Two patients with post-traumatic avascular necrosis of talus treated with vascular pedicle graft using lateral tarsal artery were reviewed to determine the efficacy of procedure. The procedure involved grafting the lateral tarsal artery and vein into a hole made in the talus through a anterolateral approach. Follow-up was 12 and 24 months respectively. Two patients had significant pain relief, improved function, no worsening of their radiologic staging. The results are promising enough to recommend consideration of this procedure in early stages of avascular necrosis.

Scapulothoracic dissociation is a rare entity that consists of the disruption of the scapulothoracic articulation. The mechanism of injury is probably traction caused by a blunt force to the shoulder girdle. This lesion is characterized by massive soft-tissue swelling of the shoulder; lateral displacement of the scapula, an injury to bone, and a severe neurovascular injury. An l8-year-old man sustained a scapulothoracic dissociation as a result of severe shoulder girdle trauma. We report the diagnostic method, clinical and surgical management.

Soft tissue sarcomas are malignant tumors that arise in the extraskeletal connective tissues of the body. And the clinical behavior of soft tissue sarcomas is characterized by a tendency to extensively invade surrounding soft tissues as well as early metastatic dissemination. Difficulties were encounted when soft tissue sarcomas invade the major vessels. There are a few reprots about the reconstruction of the major vessels after resection of soft tissue sarcomas. We have treated 3 cases of the soft tissue sarcomas involving the major artery. After marginal excision of the tumor mass, the involved major artery was reconstructed with Gortex artificial vessel graft and we could salvage the patient's extremity.

미만형 거대세포종은 상대적으로 국소형 거대세포종에 비해 드문 것으로 알려져 있으며 관절외 발생하는 경우는 극히 드물다고 알려져 있다. 이에 저자들은 삼각근 내에 발생한 미만형 거대세포종 1예를 경험하여 이를 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다.

Traumatic dislocation of the peroneus longus tendon is an often unrecognized injury which has been reported to occur most commonly during sports activity. Most acute cases with early detection can be treated by simple repair of the tendon or retinaculum using one of several procedures available. Accurate treatment through a comprehensive evaluation of the ankle injury prevents suboptimal and sometimes unrecorrectable outcomes. The authors experienced concomitantly the peroneus longus tendon dislocation associated with a trimalleolar fracture of the ankle. We report this case a brief review of the literature.
