The purpose of this study is to examine the realities of the chaotic use of terms, 'tattoo' and 'moonsin', through the empirical field researches. This paper will research the differences in the origins and the etymological meanings of 'tattoo' and 'moonsin' through examining related literatures. Clarifying the term definitions on 'tatto' and 'moonsin', this research is to help fashion consumers to use these terms discretely. In order to figure out consumers' perceptive attitude, this study has performed the questionnaire inquiry and has reached the result by analyzing the level of frequency of using the two terms. 1. The result of the term-preference inquiry tells that consumers prefer 'tattoo' to 'moosin'. However, the inquiry shows considerable number of them use the two terms indiscretely. 2. The study on the perceptions from the two terms shows: the term 'tattoo' is often related to positive images-fashionable, charming, and sexy, and the term 'moonsin' to negative ones-violent, anti-social, and demonic. 3. Both 'tattoo' and 'moonsin' shares the similarity in terms of engraving patterns on skin and coloring them. 4. 'Tattoo' is originally derived from the Polynesian word 'tatau', which means 'artistic'. 'Tatau' is a kind of ethnic art practiced on Polynesian people's skin. The design patterns and practicing techniques are very similar to those on the Polynesian earthware called 'Lapita'.

Tantalum oxide has been extensively investigated as one of the promising Resistive switching materials applicable to Resistive Dynamic Access Memories. Impedance spectroscopy offers simultaneous measurements of electrical and dielectric information, separation of electrical origins among bulk, grain boundaries, and interfaces, and the monitoring of electrical components. Such benefits have been combined with the resistive states of resistive switching devices which can be described in terms of equivalent circuits involving resistors, capacitors, and inductors, The current work employed pulsed laser deposition in order to prepare the oxygen-deficient tantalum oxide. The fabricated devices were controlled between highresistance and low-resistance states in controlled current compliance modes. The corresponding electrical phenomena were monitored both in the dc-based current-voltage characteristics and in the ac-based impedance spectroscopy. The origins of the electrical switching are discussed towards optimized ReRAM devices in terms of interfacial effects.
A comparative study on cadmium(II) complexation with three well characterized humic acids (SHA: soil humic acid from the Okchun Metamorphic Belt; AqHA: aquatic humic acid from Gorleben underground aquifer, Germany; CoHA: commercially available humic acid from the Aldrich Co.) was carried out in 0.1 M $NaClO_4$ at different solution pH(5.0, 5.5, and 6.0) using the ultrafiltration technique. The maximum binding ability (MBA) of the humic acids for cadmium(II) was observed to vary with their origins and solution pH. The results suggest that 1 : 1 complex predominates within the experimental range, and the conditional stability constants were calculated based on the assumption of cooperative binding, yielding log K values that were quite similar (CoHA: 4.17${\pm}$0.08; AqHA: 4.14${\pm}$0.07; SHA: $4.06{\pm} 0.12\;l\;mol^{-1}$ at pH 6.0) irrespective of humic acid origins or pH. By contrast a nonlinear Schatchard plot was obtained, using the cadmium(II) ion selective electrode speciation analysis method, which indicated that humic acid may have two or more classes of binding sites, with $log\;K_1\;and\;log\;K_2$ of 4.73${\pm}$ 0.08 and $3.31{\pm}0.14\;l\;mol^{-1}$ respectively.
This paper provides a comprehensive description of previous studies of making and developing kimchi in terms of the origins of kimchi and the changes in the history of kimchi, along with newly discovered data, including the collection of works in Joseon Dynasty as well as old cookbooks discovered after the year 2000, and latest research in related disciplines, e.g., ancient history studies, archeology, and linguistics. Because new ruins and relics, such as the Liao-ho Civilization in the Northeast Asia continent, which was closely related to Dongyi tribes, have been discovered and studied, it is important to determine how to reflect the outcome of archeological studies on the origin of preserved vegetables. In addition, to describe the background and changes in the independent formation of making Korean kimchi chronologically, they were divided into the following: development from jjanji to singunji; formation of the basis for seokbakji dressed with fermented fish sauce; settlement of seokbakji culture for dressing seokbakji with fermented fish sauce and spices, including chili varieties when they were introduced; and establishment of the method for making whole cabbage kimchi, which is currently typical kimchi made by adding the seokbakji as the stuffing of the cabbage kimchi, to examine the time and specific details of the change.
Objectives: It was aimed to investigate the basic action mechanism of the autoimmune diseases and common features of all diseases. Autoimmune disease are classified organ specific and systemic. Methods: These diseases are seen systemic and disease start locations, origins seem differently. This makes learning and understanding difficult. Autoimmune diseases investigated for easier understanding. It was noticed that, autoimmune diseases' starting places are specific and same all of them. This remarkable point is very important for acupuncture also. So; whole literatüre was researched and important point was found. Results: Whole autoimmune diseases are attack to mesodermal layers and mesodermal origin organs of the body's. The common property of all these disease are same; Diseases start from the mesoderm and mesodermal layer even though their organ origins' belongs to different germ layer. From this point of view, we were able to classify autoimmune diseases simply and it was planned how can we effect body in this context with acupuncture. Conclusion: And, when immunity comes into question, induction of adaptive immunity is depend on antigen presentation to T cells and this situation take place in the lymph node (LN) and also in the skin. When we sank the acupuncture needle into skin, signals create and start mesodermal contacts, during this time mesenchymal origin' autoimmune cells are regulated with this signals.
The objective of this study was to investigate the variability in crude protein (CP) and amino acids (AA) content in cereal grains imported from different origins in Korea from 2006 to 2015. The values of CP and AA contents in corn, wheat, and barley were obtained from 430 and 325 samples from six countries, 83 and 56 samples from seven countries, and 60 and 58 samples from three countries, respectively. The CP concentrations in corn, wheat, and barley ranged from 7.12 (Brazil) to 7.68% (India), 10.55 (Ukraine) to 13.26% (Brazil), and 9.46 (India) to 10.49% (Ukraine), respectively. The Lys concentrations in the corn, wheat, and barley ranged from 0.18 (Argentina) to 0.24% (China), 0.26 (India) to 0.34% (China), and 0.23 (India) to 0.31% (Australia), respectively. The concentrations of CP and AA varied among different countries of origin (P<0.05), except for Met in wheat and CP in barley. The coefficients of variation for CP were 3.26, 9.06, and 5.36 from corn, wheat, and barley, respectively. The correlation coefficients (r) between CP and Lys concentrations in corn, wheat, and barley were positively correlated and were 0.322, 0.277, and 0.542, respectively. In conclusion, CP and AA concentrations varied not only from different countries of origins but also within the same country due to the geographic region in which they are produced.

Background and Objectives: Ear cartilage malformations are commonly encountered problems in reconstructive surgery, since cartilage has low self-regenerating capacity. Malformations that impose psychological and social burden on one's life are currently treated using ear prosthesis, synthetic implants or autologous flaps from rib cartilage. These approaches are challenging because not only they request high surgical expertise, but also they lack flexibility and induce severe donor-site morbidity. Through the last decade, tissue engineering gained attention where it aims at regenerating human tissues or organs in order to restore normal functions. This technique consists of three main elements, cells, growth factors, and above all, a scaffold that supports cells and guides their behavior. Several studies have investigated different scaffolds prepared from both synthetic or natural materials and their effects on cellular differentiation and behavior. Methods and Results: In this study, we investigated a natural scaffold (alginate) as tridimensional hydrogel seeded with progenitors from different origins such as bone marrow, perichondrium and dental pulp. In contact with the scaffold, these cells remained viable and were able to differentiate into chondrocytes when cultured in vitro. Quantitative and qualitative results show the presence of different chondrogenic markers as well as elastic ones for the purpose of ear cartilage, upon different culture conditions. Conclusions: We confirmed that auricular perichondrial cells outperform other cells to produce chondrogenic tissue in normal oxygen levels and we report for the first time the effect of hypoxia on these cells. Our results provide updates for cartilage engineering for future clinical applications.

Anomalous origins of coronary arteries are a rare type of disease among children. These anomalies can be categorized into 3 types according to the anatomical relationship of the aorta and pulmonary trunks. Among these types, the interarterial type, as observed in our case, needs early diagnosis and treatment, because it can increase the risk for the patient, causing sudden cardiac death in young individuals. Although there are controversies concerning the management of anomalous origins of the left coronary artery (LCA) in children, the result can be very beneficial, if treated accurately. Three well-known methods for correction of anomalous origins of LCA are re-implantation, coronary arterial bypass grafting (CABG), and unroofing. We report on the case of a 12-year-old girl who had chest discomfort and syncope with physical exercise and was later diagnosed with an anomalous origin of LCA by transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and heart computed tomography (CT). She underwent a corrective operation by re-implantation, CABG, and unroofing.

Soybean meal (SBM) is a major protein source in poultry feeds and one of the best quality ingredients because of the relatively high protein content, good amino acid profile and bioavailability. But soybean meal quality is largely dependent on the processing technology and origins. In this experiment, effects of three different soybean meals were evaluated in layer (experiment 1) and broiler (experiment 2). Soybean meal sources used in the experiments were the US-originated dehulled soybean meal (USDHSBM), India-originated non-dehulled soybean meal (India SBM) and Brazil-originated non-dehulled soybean meal (Brazil SBM). Experiment 1 was conducted during growing and laying periods and evaluated the interactive effects of soybean meal sources according to feeding periods on growth performance and egg quality. Experiment 2 was conducted during growing period (day 1-35) and finishing period (day 35-42). The growth performance was measured for the same periods and any possible interaction between soybean meal origins and crude protein levels was also studied. In experiment 1, chicks fed India SBM utilized feed more efficiently (p<0.05) than those fed Brazil SBM from day 29 to day 42. The body weights of layers during the laying period had no relation to egg production. But egg weights were significantly heavier in all the USDHSBM fed groups than other groups (p<0.001) and depended on feed protein source during growing period (p<0.001). The average egg weight of the USDHSBM fed group scored the highest value (65.4 g), followed by the Brazil SBM fed group (62.1 g) and India SBM fed group (62.1 g). There was an effect of interaction between origins of soybean meal fed group in growing and laying period on eggshell color (p<0.01). Eggshell was significantly stronger in the USDHSBM fed (for growing period) groups than other groups (p<0.05) on $31^{st}$ week. Haugh's unit (HU), albumin index and yolk index of the USDHSBM fed group in growing stage were significantly superior (p<0.001) to other groups. In experiment 2, for the 7-week, chicks on the India SBM group gained less (p<0.001) weight than other groups. While daily gain of India SBM chicks was not affected by dietary crude protein level, those of the USDHSBM and Brazil SBM chicks were linearly increased as dietary crude protein level increased from 18% to 20%. The gain per feed ratio of the USDHSBM group was the highest (0.585), followed by the Brazil SBM group (0.568) and India SBM group (0.550) (p<0.01). Therefore, in this experiment, the use of USDHSBM with excellent protein quality and amino acid digestibility could be of advantage to the economic production of layer and broiler.
Objectives : The aim of this study is to review $\ll$Chimgudaesung$\gg$ on documentary characteristics such as truth or falsehood of authors, editions, the relationship of $\ll$Hyeongibiyo(玄機秘要)$\gg$. Materials and Methods : Based on Hwangyongsang(黃龍祥)'s study, the author of $\ll$Chimgudaesung$\gg$, the number of volumes and edition, basic contents and constitution, characteristic of reference, and the documentary research results will be arranged. Results and Conclusions : 1. $\ll$Chimgudaesung$\gg$ was made by Geunhyeon based on Yanggyeju(楊繼洲)'s $\ll$Hyeongibiyo$\gg$, and in the 29th year of the Manryeok(萬曆) era Jomunbyeong(趙文炳) saw to the inscription. Therefore, the author must be recorded as 'Originally by Yanggyeju of the Myeong(明) dynasty, revised by Geunhyeon'. 2. The existing Myeong dynasty editions are mostly Leewolgyu(李月桂)'s 'Jungsu edition(重修本)' from the 14th year of the Sunchi(順治) era of the Qing(淸) dynasty and Wangbo(王輔)'s 'Chesu edition (遞修本)' Leewolgyu and Wangbo's preface was deleted and the original text was supplemented from the 37th year of the Ganghui(康熙) era. There are many traces of revision, supplementation and copying by people of later generations in these editions. 3. The 'Chukin edition(縮印本)' of $\ll$Chimgudaesung$\gg$ is mostly a merge of the Myeong dynasty editions and used much of the new revised 'Chesu edition'. This editions should not ever be used again as an original in putting the $\ll$Chimgudaesung$\gg$ in order. 4. After $\ll$Chimgudaesung$\gg$ was published Jomunbyeong had a craftsman publish 4 drawings of $\ll$Donginmyeongdangdo(銅人明堂圖)$\gg$, of which the originally published ones were w drawings of the front and rear, and when Jomunbyeong republished he added 2 Cheukindo(側人圖) of the frontal side(正側) and rear side(背側). 5. When Geunhyeon edited $\ll$Chimgudaesung$\gg$ only 14 medical books were used and quotes copied from other texts were always reedited. Most of the origins of the collected text are shown under the index, but many do not match with the original text. Also many documents were copied from medical books from later times and not the primal text. 6. The annotated sections of $\ll$Chimgudaesung$\gg$ such as 'Yangsi(楊氏)', 'Yangsijip(楊氏集)', 'Yangsijuhae(楊氏注解)', 'Hyeongibiyo' are all from Yanggyeju's $\ll$Hyeongibiyo$\gg$. Of these the origins for the sections marked 'Yangsijip' can be found, but some of the origins for sections annotated 'Yangsi' cannot be found.
