Coughing and sputum are symptoms of sequela of Pneumonia. Oriental medicine call it Hae suo Hae su is common sign of lung disease. Hominis Placenta is the dried placenta of a healthy women. The nature of Hominis Placenta is warm and its taste sweet-salty. It has correspondence to the meridians of lung and kindey. Hominis Placenta acupuncture therapy has effect on invigoration of vital energy nourishing blood and tonifying the essence. It can be applied to the disease as Asthma, pulmonary tuberculosis, chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, degenerative change and cerebrovascular disease. We treated two cases coughing and sputum sign Sequela of Pneumonia by Hominis Placenta Aqua-Acupuncture. The symptoms was improved and the patients satisfied.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to report the effects of Abdomial-Moxibustion on abdomen and palm temperature Methods: This study was performed on 42 patients with gastrointestinal trouble, lower abdominal symptoms or hand cold(or hot) hypersensitivity to observe difference in temperature of skin surface between before and after 5 times abdominal-moxibustion using digital infrared themographic imaging(D.I.T.I) Results: After 5 times moxibustion, temperature $difference({\Delta}t)$ on chest. abdomen and palm is reduced each other. Besides the symptoms of patient are alleviated Conclusion: This study showed that abdominal-moxibustion is reducing temperature difference on the body.

Objectives : Alopecia is a physical problem. also it makes psychological damage in childhood. Alopecia may be an obstruction in the social life. We tried Oriental medical cure on this disease. Method : We used herbal medicine, acupuncture, scalp acupuncture therapy to increase the root of hair and hair. Result : After treatments, patient's scalp has the root of hair and hair in some parts. But not all parts. Conclusion : we think that Oriental medical cure is effective on Alopecia. The more study is needed.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect on a patient with bulimia nervosa-purging type and depression according to the oriental medical treatment and cognitive-behavioral therapy. In this case, a 28 year-old female patient had a binge eating and reward behaviors for 2 years. This patient was treated with acupunture therapy, Soyo-san for 5 months after cognitive-behavioral therapy for 12 sessions(2 times a week). The result of this research showed that bulimia nervosa with depression was improved by our treatment.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the patients with radial nerve palsy, who inproved by oriental medical treatment Methods & Results : The patients were hospitalized Dept. of Acupunture & Moxibustion, College of Oriental Medicine, Daejeon University from 1st, Mar. 2005 to 31th. Aug. 2005, and treated with Acupuncture and Electrical Stimulation theraphy, Herbal medication, Oriental physical therapy. To evaluate the wrist drop and numbness of fingers, Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and the measurement of wrist circumstance are used. As the result, symptoms are improved remarkably Conclusion : Patients were treated for 4.1 weeks(average). 6 cases were excellent and 1 case was good.

Objectives : This study is to evaluate the quality of life and amount of stress after the treatment among the patients who visited hospital due to traffic accident. Methods : We evaluated 40 patients who have been treated by western medicine for 3 months but showed no improvements. We surveyed VNRS, SF-36 and IES-R-K scores before treatment began and treated patients twice a week for 4 weeks with acupuncture, chuna theraphy, herbal medicine. After 4 weeks of treatment, we surveyed VNRS, SF-36 and IES-R-K scores again and compared with the scores of before treatment. Results : VNRS score and SF-36 scale and IES-R-K scale showed significant improvement after the treatment, compared to the treatment before. Conclusions : The amount of pain and stress, physical condition, all showed improvement among the patients who came to Oriental medicine hospital due to traffic accident.

Objectives : This study is designed investigate the effect of oriental medial therapy on a 63 year old female patient had Miller Fisher Syndrome with sleeplessness. Methods : We experienced a case of Miller Fisher Syndrome and treated with herbal medicine, eletro-acupuncture. The effects of treatment were measured by sleeping hour, taken measurements with a ruler(eyeball movement). Results : Whole condition (ophthalmoplegia, ataxia and so on) was improved and Oriental treatment had a good effect on sleeping hour. Conclusions : Oriental medical treatments were very effective for the patient had Miller Fisher Syndrome with sleeplessness.

This study was performed to investigate the effectiveness of trigger point needling and oriental medical treatment to shoulder pain patients in stroke sequelae with three aspects of pain and range of motion, muscle strength. Trigger point needling was applied to 3 patients on supraspinatus, infraspinatus, deltoid, subscapularis muscle. For evaluating treatment, visual analog scale(VAS), passive range of motion(PROM), muscle strength evaluation(MSE) were checked. After treatment, VAS score of 1 cases were decreased. PROM of 1 case was improved and MSE of 2 cases were improved slightly. These results suggest that trigger point needling and oriental medical treatment were effective on shoulder pain patients in stroke sequelae and it is necessary to research more case with shoulder pain in stroke sequelae.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the oriental conservative treatment for FBSS patient who were diagnosed as the Cauda equina syndrome. Methods : The patient were treated by the oriental medical conservative treatment including herbal medication, dry needle acupuncture, direct moxibustion and indirect moxibustion, cupping therapy and, physical therapy. We estimated by Visual Analog Scale and Oswestry disability index for evaluate the effect of Oriental conservative treatment. Results : After treatment, patient's visual analogue scale score and Oswestry disability index score were generally decreased. Conclusions : The oriental medical conservative treatment might be an effective method to treat the FBSS patient who were diagnosed as the Cauda equina syndrome.

Symptoms of Psychosomatic disease are various. Mamok(麻木), one of that symptoms, is a kind of sensory disorder and similar to numbness but more complicated. In this report, we described two men diagnosed as psychosomatic disease and undifferentiated somatoform disorder. One complained Mamok of his tongue and the other complained it of his right arm and leg. And both of their symptoms were disappeared quickly after treated by Hwa-acupuncture.
