노인장기요양기관의 윤리경영이 조직투명성 및 경영성과에 미치는 영향 연구: 조직문화의 매개효과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of Ethical Management on Organizational Transparency and Performance in Long-Term Care Institutes: With a Focus on the Mediation Effect of Organizational Culture)

  • 본 연구자는 연구결과를 근간으로 노인장기요양기관의 윤리경영, 조직문화, 조직투명성, 경영성과의 관계를 규명하되, 요양보호사의 윤리경영, 조직문화, 조직투명성, 경영성과의 수준은 어느 정도인지를 검증하고, 연구가설을 설정하여 윤리경영이 조직투명성, 경영성과에 어떠한 영향력을 미치는지, 또한 이들 간의 관계가 조직문화에 매개하는지 검증하였다. 검증결과, 경기지역 요양보호사의 윤리경영 수준은 5점 척도 기준에서 평균 2.929점, 조직문화 수준의 경우, 평균 3.393점이고 수준이었다. 조직투명성 수준은 평균이 2.925점, 경영성과 수준은 3.185점으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 요양보호사의 윤리경영, 조직문화, 조직투명성, 경영성과의 수준이 유사기관의 생활복지사, 사회복지사, 간호조무사의 수준과 비교했을 때 낮은 수준이었는데, 이러한 결과는 요양보호사들의 학력, 급여, 근무환경 등이 일반 사회복지조직 종사자의 수준보다 낮는 결과의 산물이다. 본 연구의 주요 변수인 윤리경영, 경영성과, 조직투명성, 조직문화간의 상관관계에서 변수 간의 유의미한 관계성이 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 본 연구가설 검증결과 윤리경영이 조직투명성, 경영성과, 조직문화에 모두 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 가설이 모두 채택되었다 셋째, 조직문화가 조직투명성에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 또한 조직문화가 윤리경영과 조직투명성, 경영성과 간의 관계에서 매개효과로 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 근간으로 다음과 같이 제언하고자 한다. 첫째, 윤리경영 중심에 있는 관리자의 윤리적 리더십이다. 둘째, 조직투명성에 대한 관심도이다. 셋째, 경영성과의 균형이다. 넷째, 윤리경영 환경에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 유연한 조직문화가 구축되어야 한다.

The Effect of College Counselors' Authentic Leadership and Ethical Leadership on Students' School Satisfaction

  • Teachers play a key role in influencing students' school lives, but many researchers have tried to improve school satisfaction in various aspects. And counselors are a special type of Chinese university teachers, and not only have the characteristics of university teachers, but also have daily administrative management functions related to students' school life. In this paper, we demonstrated the effect of college counselors' ethical leadership and authentic leadership on school satisfaction among Chinese university students. In addition, it also verified the mediating effect of organizational identification in this process. As a result of empirical analysis, ethical leadership have both positive effect on organizational identification and school satisfaction. Similarly, authentic leadership also have positive impact on organizational identity and school satisfaction. In addition, organizational Identification has a positive effect on school satisfaction. Furthermore, organizational identification has also been proven to mediate the relationship between both two types of leadership and school satisfaction. Finally, we found that authentic leadership was more influential than ethical leadership in increasing school satisfaction levels.

Whistleblowing Intention and Organizational Ethical Culture: Analysis of Perceived Behavioral Control in Indonesia

  • Purpose: This study aims to find empirical evidence and clarity on the phenomenon of the direct and indirect effect of perceived behavioral control on fraud prevention through whistleblowing intention. This study also aims to understand the influence of organizational ethical culture moderating between whistleblowing intention and fraud prevention. Research design, data, methodology: The samples of this research are 236 respondents consisting of the Head of the Finance Subdivision and Head of the Reporting Planning Subdivision and the finance staff who were determined using the purposive sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling technique. Results: The study results show that perceived behavioral control positively and significantly affects whistleblowing intention. In addition, perceived behavioral control does not affect fraud prevention mediated by whistleblowing intention. Furthermore, organizational ethical culture moderates whistleblowing intention and has a positive and significant effect on fraud prevention. Conclusions: This study concludes that the phenomenon of scandal that often occurs on a television is not a habit that must be followed. It requires an active role from the community as a form of concern for whistleblowing. Futher researchers can add other construct variables, such as good corporate governance to assess the performance improvement of the organizational layers, both internally and externally

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the empirical cause-effect relationships among business ethical values and person-organization fit, job satisfaction, turnover intent, and organizational performance within family restaurants and feeding facilities. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by 459 restaurant employees. The SPSS and Amos programs were then applied to the data to perform frequency, factor, reliability, correlation and SEM analyses. The primary results are as follows. First, business ethical values had a significant positive effect on person-organization fit. Second, person-organization fit had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, and a significant negative effect on turnover intent. Third, job satisfaction had a significant positive effect, and turnover intent had a significant negative effect, on organizational performance. Finally, upon verifying the possible direct and indirect effects of business ethical values within family restaurants and feeding facilities, it was determined that the ethical values had significant direct and indirect effects on person-organization fit, job satisfaction, turnover intent, and organizational performance. These findings have various implications. For example, an improved in-house ethical working environment leads to greaterperson-organization fit, and having employees that feel there is better in-house ethical reliability leads to greater consistency between personal and organizational values, resulting in higher job satisfaction and ultimately organizational performance.

The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility Activities on Organizational Trust and Job performance

  • We study confirmed the effect of corporate social responsibility activities on organizational trust and job performance of organizational members and mediating effects of organizational trust among 351 members of the organization in the metropolitan area and Chungcheong area. For this, the SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 statistical packages were used to produce the following results. First, as a result of analyzing the impact of CSR activities on organizational trust of organizational members, factors of economic responsibility, legal responsibility, ethical responsibility, and charitable responsibility showed significant effects on organizational trust. Second, as a result of analyzing the relationship between the effects of CSR activities on the job performance of members of the organization, it showed a direct effect on job performance, which is a factor of economic responsibility, legal responsibility, ethical responsibility, and charitable responsibility. Third, organizational trust of organization members was analyzed as a positive factor in job performance. Fourth, it showed the mediating effect of organizational trust on the effect of corporate social responsibility activities on job performance. As a result of this study, the organizational performance and job performance of organizational members showed a direct effect on CSR activities. Therefore, the CSR activity is important as it is a key factor to advance the organizational trust and job performance, which is the company's sustainable management system.

공무원의 공공봉사동기가 혁신행동에 미치는 영향: 윤리적 리더십의 매개효과와 조직문화의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Public Service Motivation on the Innovative Behavior of Public Officials : With a focus on the mediating effects of ethical leadership and the moderating effects of organizational culture)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 공무원의 공공봉사동기가 혁신행동에 미치는 영향에서 윤리적 리더십의 매개효과와 조직문화의 조절효과를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국행정연구원에서 공무원을 대상으로 조사한 2021년 공직생활실태조사 자료를 활용하였다. 연구결과, 공공봉사동기는 혁신행동과 윤리적 리더십에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 윤리적 리더십은 혁신행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 윤리적 리더십은 공공봉사동기와 혁신행동의 관계에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직문화 중 위계문화와 혁신문화에서 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 다음과 같은 정책적·실무적 시사점을 제시한다. 첫째, 공무원의 국가 경쟁력을 유지하고 공공조직의 변화에 대응할 수 있는 혁신행동을 향상시키기 위해 윤리적 리더십을 강화할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 최근 공무원 시험 경쟁률이 하락하고 있다. 이는 공무원 조직의 관료주의에 대한 MZ세대의 부정적인 직업관이라 볼 수 있다. 따라서 변화하는 시대에 맞게 공무원 조직도 미래지향적인 혁신문화로 변화할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 국민들과 직접 대면하는 공무원들에게 권한위임 등을 통한 유연성과 자율성을 향상시키는 등의 대안을 통해 혁신문화를 조성하는 방안에 대해 논의가 필요하다.

A Study on the Impact of Management's Strategic Leadership and Management Strategy on Organizational Performance: Focusing on Small and Medium Venture Companies

  • We study empirically analyzes the relationship between the leadership styles and management strategies of executives perceived by members of small and medium venture companies through organizational performance through SPSS 24.0. The empirical results are as follows. First, the hypothesis that the strategic leadership of the one-level management team had a significant influence on the management strategy showed that strategic leadership (strategic direction, strategic control, maintaining effective organizational culture, ethical management, human resource development, competency development) The relationship between positive cost, strategy of differentiation, and strategy of concentration was positive. Second, the hypothesis 2 management strategy (cost advantage strategy, differentiation strategy, centralization strategy) was statistically significant for both organizational performance (financial performance and non-financial performance). Therefore, management strategy implemented by management acts as a factor to improve organizational performance. Therefore, the execution ability of management strategy should be strengthened. Third, hypothesis 3 (Strategic Direction, Strategic Control, Maintaining Effective Organizational Culture, Ethical Management, Human Resource Development, Competency Development) could be identified as an important role factor for financial and non-financial performance. The organizational performance of SMEs has been a key factor in the strategic leadership and management strategy implemented by management. Therefore, the establishment and implementation of various practical measures to upgrade this were continuously required.

The Positive Impact of Corporate Ethical Management on Employee Performance

  • Purpose: Prior studies regarding ethical management on worker's performance have primarily focused on specific industries or regions, potentially limiting the generalizability. This gap in knowledge underscores the need for a comprehensive investigation that considers a diverse range of industries and thoroughly examines the multifaceted aspects of ethical management. Research design, data and methodology: The academic search platform used for this study was 'Google Scholar', 'Scopus', and 'Web of Science' indexes various scholarly articles, including peer-reviewed journals and books. By utilizing specific search terms such as "corporate ethical management" and "employee performance," a vast pool of relevant studies was identified. Results: The findings indicated four effects: first, a positive correlation between ethical management practices and heightened employee motivation and engagement; second, an augmentation in organizational commitment and job satisfaction among employees; third, a reduction in turnover rates, indicating enhanced employee retention; and fourth, an elevation in overall productivity and performance outcomes. Conclusions: In sum, this study offers actionable insights, advocating for adopting and reinforcing ethical management strategies as a potent means to foster a high-performance work culture. These encompass fostering a robust ethical framework, cultivating a culture of transparency and open communication, and providing avenues for employees to voice ethical concerns without fear of retribution.

윤리적 리더십이 비윤리적 친조직행동에 미치는 영향 직무열의와 조직몰입의 이중 매개효과 (The Impact of Ethical Leadership on Unethical Pro Organizational Behavior: The Dual Mediating Effect of Job Engagement and Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구는 윤리적 리더십이 갖고 있는 양면성에 초점을 맞추어, 리더의 윤리적 리더십이 직무열의, 조직몰입, 비윤리적 친-조직행동에 미치는 영향을 검증하고, 직무열의와 조직몰입의 이중 매개효과를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 565부의 설문지를 활용하여 연구를 수행한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 리더의 윤리적 리더십은 비윤리적 친-조직행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직무열의는 리더의 윤리적 리더십과 비윤리적 친-조직행동의 관계에서 매개역할을 하지 않았으나, 조직몰입은 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 리더의 윤리적 리더십과 비윤리적 친-조직행동의 관계에서 직무열의와 조직몰입은 이중 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 시사점은 다음과 같다. 본 연구는 윤리적 리더십이 항상 긍정적인 효과만을 발휘하는 것은 아니며, 비윤리적 행동과의 관계성을 규명했다는 데 의의가 있다. 또한 조직 내 구성원의 인지, 정서, 태도, 행동의 과정을 살펴보고, 다시 한 번 정서사건이론의 패턴을 확인할 수 있었다. 나아가 이러한 행동패턴이 사회교환이론에 의해 규명되어진다는 점을 밝히는데 이론적 함의를 찾을 수 있다. 실무적 시사점은 조직차원에서 이러한 부정적인 영향 및 가능성을 미연에 방지하고 나아가 사회적 차원에서 조직성과를 제고하는 동시에 윤리적 기준을 준수할 수 있는 조직문화 및 환경을 조성할 수 있도록 적극적인 노력이 필요하다는 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

Exploring the Nature of Whistle Blowing in Organizations in Asia: An Integrative Perspective

  • This paper aims to synthesize and identified several constraints of the research literature about whistleblowing and its impact on the organizations from the human resource and organizational behavior point of view. The importance of study concerning whistleblowing is an important trend in this today fraudulent world, however to our knowledge an integrative review in this sense is limited. By looking at the impact of whistleblowing act in collectivist culture, especially from the Asian perspective would give an impact to the development of the studies in the future. This review using an integrative review with the distribution of databases including Sciencedirect, EBSCO, JSTOR and soon using several terms including whistleblowing and collectivist of research published during 2003 to 2018. Thirty five papers were identified, analyzed, and capturing data of research located in several Asian countries such as China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand and Turkey. The findings of this review reveals that despite a positive trend of whistleblowing research in collectivist culture, the importance to increase human resource and organizational behavior aspects also lead to positive ethic climate in organization. Human resource and organizational behavior aspects to be found have a significance role in creating ethical culture in the organization.
