  • The purpose of this study is to identify a suitable organizational diagnostic model for analyzing the management efficiency of food service firms. We used the three-iteration Delphi technique on a panel of 19 business employees, 7 industry experts, and 4 employees in the food service industry. A total of 36 assessment indicators were developed through this panel, with numerous major findings. First, it is important to evaluate the leadership qualities of employees in terms of their motivation and competency. Second, it is important to evaluate the ability of employees to interface well with other employees. Third, it is important to evaluate and manage the brand image recognized by customers. Fourth, it is important to evaluate the fairness and regularity of the rewards given for an excellent job performance. Fifth, it is important to evaluate the level of communication and information distribution in the organizational culture. Last, but not least, it is important to evaluate the transparency and fairness of an organization in its human resource management (HRM) and the efficiency of its organizational structure. In conclusion, this study empirically shows how food service firms can develop an organizational diagnostic model to increase their managerial efficiency.

  • The environment of the modern library is changing rapidly with advancements in information technology, massive increse in information, and with the changing needs of users for information in order to keep up with developments in science and technology. The library should also be in a constant state of change in accordance with the changing environment. But the current situation is that library organizations in Korea do not show any change. Here arises the need to diagnose the health of these organization. Organizational innovations can be achieved either by change in the organizational structure or administrative methods or in personal attitudes. In making organizational innovations, however, it is not sufficient only to change the organizational structure or the administrative methods without changing personal attitudes. The purpose of this thesis is to diagnose the health of university library organizations in Korea and to suggest prescriptions based on the results of this diagnosis, by means of organization development theory. In this study, the action research model and the diagnostic model were developed for the health of university library organization in Korea. The action research model consisted of 3 steps: diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. The diagnostic model comprised diagnostic criterion and diagnostic indicators. The health of an organization was selected as the diagnostic criterion. Diagnostic indicators were divided into 3 levels: personal job-satisfaction at the individual level, cohesiveness at the group level, and the organizational climate at the organizational level. Both the interview and the questionaire were used as diagnostic methods. The questionaire form was designed according to the Likert typle 5-point scale. For the investigation, 10 university libraries were selected from the private universities in Seoul, and questionaire sheets were sent to their 156 librarians and responses were received from 116 persons. An interview was carried out with a selected chief of departments of the library concerned. The results of the diagnosis show that the average personal jobsatisfaction was 3.57, the group cohesiveness was 3.15 and organizational climate was 2.93, and accordingly the comprehensive health indicator was 3.22. The health of university library organizations in Korea was generally on the decline at all 3 levels. In particular, the organizational climate was in a very weak state. Most problems concern dissatisfaction with personnel policy, communications and non-professionally qualified directors. As the prescriptions, the following was suggested: institutionalization of the staff meeting for resolving problems with communication, appointement of professional directors, performance appraisal, conferring faculty status for librarians, and a suggest system. And for the improvement of the organizational climate, managerial grid training was suggested as one of the educational strategies for organizational development.

  • Objective: The study aimed to develop and validate a tool for assessing daycare center organizational competence and for autonomously managing childcare quality. Methods: Through literature review and expert reviews, items were derived and validated using the Content Validity Index. Data from a survey involving 216 directors and 509 teachers were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS to assess reliability and conduct confirmatory factor analysis. Results: Results revealed a 36-item diagnostic tool across four subcategories: shared values (6 items), training abilities (18 items), environmental support (6 items), and organizational promotion (6 items). A diagnostic tool named S.T.E.P+ was developed, named after the first letters of the four subfactors. Skewness and kurtosis were within normality assumptions. Good fit indices (CFI, TLI) and low SRMR and RMSEA values indicated a satisfactory model fit. Cronbach's α values showed high reliability for all factors. The tool enables autonomous diagnosis of childcare quality. Conclusion/Implications: This tool can effectively autonomously diagnose whether a daycare center is providing quality childcare.

Methods: Participants were 167 nurses working in interventional procedure rooms and operating rooms in general hospitals and university hospitals in Korea. Data were collected from August 30 to September 25, 2019, through self-reporting questionnaires and analyzed with t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. Results: The influencing factor that affects nurses' radiation protection behavior was the radiation protection environment (β=.41, p<.001), accounting for 59.6% of the radiation protection behavior (F=17.34, p<.001). Conclusion: Administrative and financial efforts to create a safe organizational atmosphere and establish a safe radiation protection environment are needed. • The purpose of this study is to establish a basis for assessing construct validity of measures used in organizational research. The classic Campbell and Fiske's(1959) criteria are found to be lacking in their assumptions, diagnostic information, and power. The inherent confounding of measurement error with systematic trait and method effects is a severe limitation for a proper interpretation of convergent and discriminant validity. The confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) approach overcomes most of the limitations found in Campbell and Fiske's(1959) method. However, the CFA approach confounds random error with unique variance specific to a measure. The second-order confirmatory factor analysis(SOCFA) was shown to harbor rather restrictive assumptions and is unlikely to be met in practice. The first-order, multiple-informant, multiple-item(FOMIMI) model is a viable option, but it may also be of limited use because of the large number measures.

The CMM is a model for software developers the ability to assess the development of the entire organization, improving the model's maturity level measuring. However, this method of security engineering process improvement and the ability to asses s the individual rather than organizational level to evaluate the ability of the processes are stopped. In this research project based on their existing research information from the technical point of view is to define the maturity level of protection. How to diagnose an information security vulnerabilities, technical security system, verification, and implementation of technical security shall consist of diagnostic status. The proposed methodology, the scope of the work place and the current state of information systems at the level of vulnerability, status, information protection are implemented to assess the level of satisfaction and function. It is possible that measures to improve information security evaluation based on established reference model as a basis for improving information security by utilizing leverage.
