On the Development of Robot based Automation System for Loading Cargo in Small and Medium Sub Terminals

  • The logistics market is continuously growing due to the development of technology and the growth of the online market. In addition, the social atmosphere that emphasizes non-face-to-face due to the pandemic situation is accelerating the growth of logistics. Delivery of goods ordered online requires delivery process through courier worker. In order for the courier worker to ship the product, the work of loading the product on the truck must be preceded. The accident caused by such delivery and loading work is increasing and it is emerging as a social problem. This study proposes a robot-based automated loading system to efficiently handle the increasing volume of courier service and to construct a more efficient and safe working environment by replacing the physical labor that was overloaded to courier workers. The proposed system replaces the loading of the courier worker and proposes the optimal loading function through the automation system.

  • We identified the correlation between museums, gamification, and viewers based on the results of keyword correlation analysis, designing the museum gamification system. By applying gamification to the museum through big data CONCOR analysis, it was found that viewers had fun watching it through direct experiences and experiences. In this study, we propose a system that directly selects the story desired by the viewer and serves the game suitable for the theme of the museum they visited. In addition, the system proposed in this paper organized a story algorithm so that viewers can directly select the difficulty level based on the story and play personalized games. We collected existing museum information and designed to enable games of various stories suitable for the museum's theme, and based on this, it was applied to the museum gamification app. Moreover, in order to further enhance the immersion of museum viewing. We have been designed and applied based on Virtual Reality (VR).

  • In this paper, we propose a system that allows small business owners focusing on the restaurant business to easily understand the management situation, and to manage the operation and management centering on the cost of food materials and profits and losses. In general, the metadata structure is different depending on the POS system, so it is necessary to first develop a standardized metadata model for a food material cost management system for small business owners in various industries. For that reason, the system proposed in this paper was applied to the cost management app by referring to the development of a data model using the metadata standard. In addition, in order to implement a cost profit/loss management system for small business owners in the restaurant industry, it was designed to support standardized metadata models from various types of POS systems, and is a hybrid app that can support a smart environment.   • In these days, innovative functions are required to unmanned parcel delivery lockers. As non-face-to-face transactions become the center due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, many problem occurs in society such as theft crimes and lack of loading space. Therefore, New concept storage device is developed in korea. It has the functions that minimizes empty spaces by using the internal transport device to enable efficient space loading and refrigerate goods such as foods. In order to systematically approach the system design of the unmanned parcel delivery lockers which is the new function is applied, We applied model-based system engineering to improve the development efficiency and use a system modeling language to express the system. We conducted interworking research of CAD data including system modeling and design data. it is expected that this method will increase the effective development efficiency such as maintenance traceability and reduction of development period and cost.

  • Satellite signal is excellent broadband, can provide the same information in a wide range, but there is a disadvantage that much less of the security level of the data. Therefore, supplementation of safety is a serious problem than anything in the satellite communication. In this paper, it was simulated by applying ARIA in encryption technique and by applying transport mode, tunnel mode in security header AH and ESP in order to examine the effect of IPsec VPN. In addition, we had compare with general services that do not apply encryption in order to analyze the impact of the encryption algorithm. Channel, by applying the Markov channel and adding AWGN, is constituted a satellite communication environment. In case of retransmission based error control scheme, we applied Type-II HARQ scheme and Type-III HARQ scheme which are performance is a good way in recently, and it is constituted by a turbo code and BPSK modulation scheme. we were analyzed performance in BER and Throughput in order to compare the simulation more effectively.

  • This study examined the order of the Butterworth filter for the correlation on the sensitivity of the receiver in the receiver of an optical system. In the general case, the sensitivity of the receiver is increased if the order of the filter was increased more. This is because increasing the order of the filter response of the normalized frequency of the filter is similar to the rectangular wave. For that reason, the method used to increase the order of the filter increases the sensitivity of the receiver. On the other hand, a method of increasing the order of the filter and makes the system complicated increases the cost of the system. This study examined the correlation between the order of the sensitivity of the receiver filter and to configure the system by simply looking for ways to reduce the cost of the system. The simulation results showed that increasing the order of the filter resulted in a receiver that can determine if the sensitivity is raised. In addition, the order of the Butterworth filter range that does not reduce the sensitivity of the receiver was 2. Therefore, it will be possible to implement an inexpensive optical system of the receiver using the data from this study.

  • In this paper, we propose the trellis coded spread spectrum communication system with one channel signal selection of the subset by the PN code. This paper proposes the Viterbi decoder that have the squared Euclidean distance of the order phase difference as well as 1st order phase difference as the branch metrics by using the multiple symbol detection method. TCM method was developed to overcome limited power and bandwidth efficiently in digital communication. we multiply one of convolution code's output data to PN code for applying TCM to the spread spectrum. We investigated the performance of the direct sequence/spread spectrum communication system with trellis coded modulation. In this system, we could improved the coding gain in the spread spectrum.

  • In order for the support of the ETCS (Electronic Toll Collection System) model, which have been operated successfully till now, with multi-lane service, the wireless communication system of the multi-lane-supported ETCS based on RF-DSRC (Radio Frequency - Dedicated Short Range Communication) was used. In this paper, the SME algorithm attaching data flow and form into RFID communication technology was newly suggested to overcome technical problems on RF-DSRC communication system. In addition, in order to verify the SME algorithm, experiments based on ETCS and 900Mhz RFID were carried out. From the result of realization experiment of RFID dependent on the velocity and precision experiment of information inside of RFID, we can see that RFID is detected below 70Km/h and the precision of estimation is more than 90%.

  • Because many of the FOB key, anti-collision algorithm for a seamless multi-access is applied to the smart-key system. In this paper, we have designed and implemented improved anti-collision algorithm that dramatically reduces the communication response time required in the user authentication process immediately after by dynamically changing the order in which the request of the user ID as the user ID on immediately before in the smart key system for vehicles that use many of the FOB key. In order to evaluate the performance of the system the improved anti-collision algorithm is applied, we show the behavior of the algorithm implemented in the state actually mounted on the vehicle and verify that communication response time required for many of the FOB key was reduced by about 33% compared to existing algorithms.

  • This paper focuses on a new optimization technique of a fuzzy logic based proportional integral (FLPI) load frequency controller by the multiple tabu search (MTS) algorithm. Conventionally, the membership functions and control rules of fuzzy logic control are obtained by trial and error method or experiences of designers. To overcome this problem, the MTS algorithm is proposed to simultaneously tune proportional integral gains, the membership functions and control rules of a FLPI load frequency controller in order to minimize the frequency deviations of the interconnected power system against load disturbances. The MTS algorithm introduces additional techniques for improvement of the search process such as initialization, adaptive search, multiple searches, crossover and restart process. Simulation results explicitly show that the performance of the proposed FLPI controller is superior to conventional PI and FLPI controllers in terms of overshoot and settling time. Furthermore, the robustness of the proposed FLPI controller under variation of system parameters and load change are higher than that of conventional PI and FLPI controllers.
