청소년의 치주질환에 대한 지식 및 태도와 구강건강행위와의 관련성 (The relationship between knowledge, attitude of periodontal diseases and dental health behavior in adolescents)

  • Objectives : This study was to examined the degree of oral health knowledge, attitude of periodontal diseases and dental health behaviors and to examine the relationship among variables in 12-year-old adolescents. Method : Participants were 2,196 adolescents who live in Seosan with an average age of 12.2. Data was collected using a self administrated questionnaire from April 10 through June 10, 2011. Results : The knowledge of periodontal disease of the subjects was $2.46{\pm}1.52$ and the attitude was $1.88{\pm}1.11$. It appears that knowledge and attitude concerning periodontal and dental health among young Korean 12-year-old adolescents living in Seosan city are in need of improvement. The knowledge and attitude were significantly higher in high group than low group of income. The knowledge and attitude toward periodontal and dental health was positively related to dental health behaviors. Conclusion : Based on the findings, dental health behaviors are strongly associated with knowledge and attitude toward periodontal and dental health. This result suggest that the implementation of oral health promotion should be considered for various factors related to attitude of oral health in adolescents.

방문건강관리인력의 구강건강지식과 실천 (Oral health knowledge and behavior of visiting health care personnel)

  • 본 논문은 공공의료보건기관에서 근무하는 방문건강인력의 구강보건에 대한 전문성 제고의 목적에서 구강건강 지식 및 실천에 대해 조사하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 구강건강지식은 치주질환 67%, 치아우식증 68%, 일반치과지식은 68.4%이상의 정답률을 보였다. 둘째, 구강건강실천은 예방목적의 치과방문에서 50%이상, 치료를 위해서 60.1%가 치과방문을 하는 것으로 조사되었다. 치석제거는 46.6%가 정기적으로 받는 것으로 나타났고, 치과치료이용을 89.6%가 종합병원·치과(병)의원을 이용하는 것으로 조사되었다. 칫솔질의 경우 3회 이상은 89.5%, 구강위생용품으로는 치실을 58%로 가장 많이 사용하였으며, 칫솔질 방법으로 회전법을 시행하는 대상자는 46%로 조사되었다. 셋째, 일반적 특성에 따른 구강건강지식은 연령(F=5.25, p<0.01), 보건의료직 경력(F=3.94, p<0.01)에 따라, 구강건강실천은 방문보건경력에 따라 유의한 관련성을 보였다(F=3.20, p<0.05).

구강보건 인식도와 구강관리실태가 미소에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Knowledge of Oral Health and its actual Oral Condition on Smile)

  • 구강보건에 관한 인식도 및 관리실태와 미소평점과의 상관성을 알아보기 위하여 대구시내 남녀 고등학교 학생 150명(남자80명, 여자70명)을 대상으로 그들의 구강보건 지식의 수준과 일상 치아 관리실태에 관하여 설문지를 통해 평가한 후 아무런 부담을 주지 않은 편안한 상태에서 설문지 해당 각자의 미소 시 정면사진을 촬영하였으며, 이연구와 상관이 없고 근무지와 직책이 다른 5명의 치과의사를 무작위로 선출하여 연구 대상자의 미소를 다섯 분류의 점수로 평가한 후 각각의 자료를 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 구강보건에 관한 인식도 및 관리실태와 미소평점과는 상관성이 없는 것으로 나타났고, 구강보건 인식도조사에서는 오답이 많았지만 관리실태 조사에서는 일상 관리가 잘 이루어지고 있음을 보였다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 구강보건의 인지특성이나 관리실태의 실천보다는 미소는 평상시 반복된 습관적 행태에 더 많은 관계가 있을 것으로 사료되었다.

부모님의 지식 정도에 따른 일부 중학생의 구강보건지식과 행태 조사 (A research on knowledge and behavior for oral health of some middle school students according to the knowledge level of parents)

  • Objectives : This research aimed at investigating middle school students' knowledge and behavior of oral hygiene according to the knowledge level of parents on this ground, provide basic data for establishing a more effective school and home oral hygiene education program for students. Methods : Students were selected from four secondary schools in J city by convenience sampling, which is non probability sampling; then, the final analysis was performed on 272 self-administered questionnaires. For statistical analysis, SPSS 10.0 for Windows was used to carry out frequency analysis and chi-square test at the 0.05 significance level in determining statistical significance. Results : 1. 50.0% had periodontal disease caused by 'weak periodontal', in the case of the father of academic ability was middle school graduated. 2. Showed lowly what is behavior prevention as regularly oral examination for the oral health, in the case of the parents's academic ability was low(in the case of the mother's academic ability was middle school graduated, 34.5% received regular oral examination every three months). 3. In the case of, the father and mother of academic ability was middle school graduated showed 50%, 44.8% about the teeth never important in the life. 4. In the case of, the father and mother of academic ability was middle school graduated showed 37.5%, 31.0% about time for the tooth brushing is under 1 minute per one time. Conclusions : It's very important for middle school student's oral health that the oral health education and oral hygiene attitude in their home. especially middle school student's attitude was controlled by parents' knowledge level. This like basic data will be useful in establishing program of school oral health and individual oral hygiene attitude in their home.

치면세마 실습 대상자의 구강보건지식 및 행태에 관한 연구 (A study on the oral health knowledge and behavior of the volunteers in practice for oral prophylaxis)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this survey research was to investigate the relationship among oral health State, behavior and knowledge of oral health of patients who participate in dental hygiene students voluntarily. Methods : The subject in this were patients who got a scaling at the oral hygiene practice lab in the department of dental hygiene in S university dental clinic from April 1 to May 31, 2010. For the data analysis, an SPSS WIN 11.5 program was used and its signification level was 0.05. Results : 1. For the oral health state according to sex distinction, it showed the men's 0.78 MT index was higher than women's 0.48 MT index and statistically significant difference. For FT index, women(4.72) was higher than men(3.50) and it showed statistically significant difference(p<0.05). 2. For the oral health state according to age distinction, DT index of under 20years(2.44) was higher than the others and it showed statistically significant difference(p<0.05). 3. For the oral health state according to marriage distinction, not married DT index(1.59) was higher than married DT index(2.56) and it showed statistically significant difference(p<0.05). 4. For the oral health behavior according to age distinction, 87.0% 20~29years patients replied as I have experience of my teeth scaled and it showed statistically significant difference. 18.5% more than 30 years replied as I use interdental brush and it showed statistically significant difference. 18.5% more than 30 years replied as I use powered brush and it showed statistically significant difference(p<0.05). 5. For the oral health state according to oral health behavior distinction, there were significant difference that regular visit of dental clinic, experience of teeth scaled, toothbrushing, oral hygiene device(p<0.05). 6. For the oral health state according to oral health knowledge distinction, there were significant difference that toothbrushing time after each meal, appropriate toothbrushing time, toothbrushing method, dental caries foods(p<0.05). Conclusions : I suggest with the result of the study that there was a very close relationship between oral health status, behavior and knowledge of oral health. Therefore student of the dental hygiene should be encouraged to pay more attention to oral health care of the patient, and they should be well educated oral health care personnels who volunteers in practice for oral prophylaxis.

서울 M 고등학교 학생들의 구강보건교육에 대한 성취도 및 유효도 (Achievement and effectiveness on oral health education of M high school students in Seoul)

  • Objectives : The Purpose of this study is to apply an oral health education program to the high school students, to analyze their oral health knowledge and changes of behaviors, and to examine oral health education for effective, thus using all of those results as the basic data for developing materials on their oral health education. Methods : The study was conducted on the freshmen and women of M high student in Seoul City. They were in total 85 student, consisting of 77 of male student(90.6%) and 8 of female student(9.4%). Knowledge survey contained 38 questions including such as dental common knowledge, dental caries, and periodontal disease, while behaviors survey did 24 questions including such as tooth-brushing, brush selection and management, and prevention of oral disease. Results : First, oral health education had brought to improve oral health knowledge for high school students. Second, even with the improvement of oral health behaviors through the education, there was not statistically significant on behaviors such as the regular checkups and the usage of dental floss. And third, the students in general were satisfied with the oral health education. Conclusions : First, the oral health education being conducted in kindergarten and elementary school should be continued or expanded into the adolescence. Second, the oral health education should be focused efficiently on the learning objective demanding for a change of behavior through the repeated education, for which the education that is right for the high school students should be done. And third, for the effective oral health education in high school, the media that could cause interests should be developed.

보육교사의 구강보건교육경험 인지도에 따른 구강보건지식의 관련성 (The Relationship between Oral Health Knowledge and Its Education Recognizance of Childcare Teacher)

  • 보육교사들의 구강보건경험과 인지도 및 필요성에 따라 구강보건지식정도를 파악하고 관련성이 있는지 조사하고자, 경남지역에 소재한 37개 어린이집에 있는 보육교사 267명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 교육유무에 따른 구강보건지식을 살펴보면 교육경험이 있는 경우가 교육경험이 없는 경우보다 높게 나타났다. 교육장소별에 따른 구강보건지식을 살펴보면 보건소에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 교육필요 요구별에 따른 치주질환, 불소, 자일리톨의 구강보건지식에서 교육이 필요하다고 응답하였다. 교육참석 필요성에 따른 치주질환, 자일리톨의 구강보건지식에서 교육에 참석한다고 응답한 경우가 높게 나타났다. 교육의 필요성과 교육참석 필요성은 높은 상관관계(r=0.874)를 보였고, 치주질환 지식항목과 구강보건교육 참석도는 낮은 상관관계를 나타냈다(r=0.345). 보육교사의 구강보건교육경험과 인지도 및 필요성은 구강보건 지식에 관련성이 있었고, 아이들의 구강 보건을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해서는 보육교사에게 체계적이고 규칙적인 구강보건교육 프로그램이 필요할 것으로 사료되었다.

성인의 치과보험지식 및 구강건강지식이 치과건강보험인식만족도에 융합적으로 미치는 영향 (Convergence effect of dental insurance knowledge and oral health knowledge of adults on dental health insurance recognition satisfaction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 20대 성인의 치과보험지식과 구강건강지식이 치과보험인식만족도에 미치는 융합적 관계를 보고자 함이다. SPSS WIN 18.0로 분석해 유의성 있는 결과를 얻었다(p<.05). 치과건강보험인식만족도 '치과치료에 적용되는 진료과목의 수는 확대시킬 필요성이 있다'가 높았으며 '치과보험이 적용되는 치과치료 진료비에 만족한다'가 낮았다. 치과보험유무지식은 치아미백, 교정치료, 구강건강지식은 '섭취하는 음식이 치아에 영향을 미친다.' 높았다. 치과 건강보험인식만족도는 민간치과보험을 가입한 경우 높았다. 치과건강보험인식만족도는 치과건강보험지식과 양의 상관 관계를 나타냈다. 총괄적으로 치과건강보험 인식 만족를 높이기 위해서는 치과보험지식과 구강건강지식에 대한 체계적인 교육이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

유아기 자녀에 대한 모친의 구강건강관리행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (A study on factors affecting the oral health care behavior of mothers for young children)

  • Objectives : This study were to find out differences in mother's oral health knowledge and oral health care behaviors and to find out factors that affected mothers' oral health care behavior for their young children. Methods : The survey was carried out with questionnaire about personal factor, cognitive factor, psychological factor and behavioral factor to 227 mothers. They had children from 3 to 5 years. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0. Results : There were statistically significant differences in oral health knowledges as mother's educational background, importance of oral health, experience of oral health education, and oral health locus of control. There were statistically significant differences in mother's oral health care behaviors as mother's job, interest of oral health, importance of oral health, experience of oral health education, and oral health locus of control. And mother' oral health care behavior for herself, interest of oral health, and oral health locus of control were found as important variables in mothers's oral health care behavior for their children. Conclusions : Mother's oral health care behavior for herself was the powerful factor that affected mother's oral health care behavior for her children.

일부 유아교육기관 교사의 구강보건지식 및 실천정도 분석 (Analysis of the Oral Health Knowledge and Practice of Teachers in Some Early Childhood Education Institutions)

  • 본 연구는 유아교육기관 교사의 구강건강지식 및 구강건강실천정도를 파악하고자 유아교육기관에서 근무하고 있는 교사 169명을 대상으로 설문조사 하였으며, SPSSWIN 14.0을 이용하여 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 구강건강지식정도에 있어서 치아우식증 관련지식 평균 7.97(9), 잇솔질 2.66(3), 치주조직병 2.86(5), 불소 2.42(5), 식이 1.04(2)로 나타났으며, 전체 24문항을 기준으로 평균 16.98로 100점으로 환산시 70점 정도의 구강건강지식 수준을 보였다. 2. 구강건강실천정도는 혀닦기를 하는 경우가 4.22로 가장 높은 반면, 정기구강검진에 있어서는 2.60으로 낮게 나타났다. 전체 구강건강실천정도는 3.11정도의 수준을 보였다. 3. 일반적 특성에 따른 구강건강지식과의 차이는 전체적인 지식에 있어 30대 연령 17.47, 5년 이상-10년 미만의 교육경력 17.50, 대졸이상 17.27, 원장인 경우가 18.26, 교육경험이 있는 경우가 17.01로 높게 나타났으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 4. 일반적 특성에 따른 구강건강실천정도와의 차이는 연령에 있어서 당분섭취제한, 정기구강검진, 구강위생보조용품사용, 혀닦기, 전체적인 구강건강실천정도에 있어 나이가 많을수록 실천정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고, 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 보였다. 5. 구강보건지식정도와 구강건강실천정도와의 관계는 전체적으로 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었지만 각 영역별로 구강보건지식이 높을수록 실천정도가 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 결과로 교사들을 대상으로 한 다양한 구강보건교육 프로그램이 개발되어 지속적인 구강보건교육을 통한 지식의 향상은 물론 구강보건실천 향상도 매우 중요하다고 사료된다.
