Frozen orbit is an attractive option for orbital design owing to its characteristics (its argument of pericenter and eccentricity are kept constant on an average). Solar sails are attractive solutions for massive and expensive missions. However, the solar radiation pressure effect represents an additional force on the solar sail that may greatly affect its orbital behavior in the long run. Thus, this force must be included as a perturbation force in the dynamical model for more accuracy. This study shows the calculations of initial conditions for a lunar solar sail frozen orbit. The disturbing function of the problem was developed to include the lunar gravitational field that is characterized by uneven mass distribution, third body perturbation, and the effect of solar radiation. An averaging technique was used to reduce the dynamical problem to a long period system. Lagrange planetary equations were utilized to formulate the rate of change of the argument of pericenter and eccentricity. Using the reduced system, frozen orbits for the Moon sail orbiter were constructed. The resulting frozen orbits are shown by two 3Dsurface (semi-major, eccentricity, inclination) figures. To simplify the analysis, we showed inclination-eccentricity contours for different values of semi-major axis, argument of pericenter, and values of sail lightness number.
The effective management of uncertainty is one of the most fundamental problems in medical decision making. According to the literatures review, most medical decision models rely on point estimates for input parameters. However, it is natural that they should be interested in the relationship between changes in those values and subsequent changes in model output. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the ranges of numerical values for which each option will be most efficient with respect to the input parameters. The Nonhomogeneous Poisson Process(NHPP) was used for describing the behavior of aging chronic diseases. Three kind of failure models (linear, exponential, and power law) were considered, and each of these failure models was studied under the assumptions of unknown scale factor and known aging rate, known scale factor and unknown aging rate, and unknown scale factor and unknown aging rate, respectively. In addition, this study illustrated developed method with an analysis of data from a trial of immunotherapy in the treatment of chronic Granulomatous disease. Finally, the proposed design of Bayesian value of information analysis facilitates the effective use of the computing capability of computers and provides a systematic way to integrate the expert's opinions and the sampling information which will furnish decision makers with valuable support for quality medical decision making.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of inhalation and exhalation exercise combined with upper extremity proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation pattern on two spirometry values: forced volume vital (FVC) and peak expiratory flow (PEF). Methods: Thirty-two healthy adults were divided into two groups: 1) a combined group, which performed upper extremity D2 flexion pattern (shoulder flexed/abducted/external rotated, forearm supinated, wrist radial deviated, and finger extended) during exhalation and D2 extension pattern (shoulder extended/adducted/internal rotated, forearm pronated, wrist ulnar deviated, and finger flexed) during inhalation; and 2) reverse combined group, which performed the D2 flexion pattern during inhalation and the D2 extension pattern during exhalation. The inverse application of upper extremity movements during inhalation and exhalation induced selective resistance or assistance on respiration. FVC and PEF were measured at two time points, before and after four weeks. Results: In both groups, the pre-post intervention comparison showed significant increases in FVC and PEF (p < .05). In the between-groups comparison, the reverse combined group showed a significantly higher PEF than the combined group at four weeks post intervention (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The combined respiration exercise with reverse PNF upper extremity patterns using selective resistance showed an effective increase in PEF in healthy adults. Clinicians and researchers might consider using selective resistance as a widely applicable and cost-effective option for respiratory rehabilitation planning.

The purpose of this study was to report the reliability and validity of oblique single-cut rotation osteotomy (OSCRO) in 3D-reconstructed canine bone models with femoral varus and torsional deformities. A healthy adult male beagle was recruited to create a 3D bone model, and this bone model was modified by using a 3D program. Fifteen bone models were constructed for this study. OSCRO simulation was performed in accordance with the plan after printing using a 3D printing machine. The anatomical lateral distal femoral angle (aLDFA), anteversion angle (AA), anatomical caudo-distal femoral angle (aCdDFA), mechanical caudo-distal femoral angle (mCdDFA) and pre- and postoperative bone length were calculated. There were no significant differences between the target values and postoperative values. In addition, the difference between pre- and postoperative bone length was small (p = 0.001). Our findings suggest that OSCRO could be an effective surgical option for MPL with bone deformities in small-breed dogs that often undergo conventional distal femoral osteotomy.

Objectives: In mandibular edentulism, the treatment option with a two-interforaminal implant-retained bridge and a removable partial denture is rarely evaluated in literature. The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the stress distribution of this treatment option by comparing it with traditional treatment options with interforaminal implants in the edentulous mandible. Materials and Methods: Two interforaminal implants were placed in a formalin-fixed cadaver mandible, and overdentures with three different types of attachments were fabricated: (1) two ball attachments and an overdenture, (2) a Dolder bar and an overdenture, and (3) screw-retained two-implant inter-canine porcelain fused to a metal bridge and an implant-assisted removable denture (IARD) with precision attachments. Three biting conditions were generated for each denture type, and the strains were documented under vertical loading of 100 N. Results: The calculated strain values from measured strains in all measurement sites and loading conditions for the screw-retained two-implant intercanine porcelain fused to a metal bridge and a cast framework partial denture with precision attachments situation were lower than in the other scenarios (P<0.05). Conclusion: Within the limitations of the present study, it can be concluded that an IARD may be a reasonable and valuable alternative to ball attachments or a bar in two interforaminal implants, especially when the patients prefer to be able to show their teeth even when they take out their removable dentures.
Energy performance of building envelope components, including external walls, floors, roofs, windows and doors, is crutial for determining how much energy is required for heating and cooling in a building. Among various building technologies, a green roof system can be a good option for reducing heat gain and loss in new buildings as well as existing buildings for green remodeling. This paper evaluates the performance of green roof systems according to soil depth and Leaf Area Index (LAI) for existing buildings. It also attempts to quantify the energy saving effects on new and existing buildings with different insulation levels. Thermal performance of green roofs is mainly dependent on soil thickness and LAI. Installation of green roofs in deteriorated existing buildings can lead to improvements in roof insulation, due to the soil layer. An increase in soil depth leads to a decrease in heating load, regardless of conditions of vegetation on the green roof. Larger LAI values may reduce cooling loads in the cooling season. Installation of green roof in deteriorated existing buildings showed bigger energy saving effect in comparison to a case in new buildings. A simulation study showed that the installation of green roof systems in deteriorated existing buildings with low insulation levels, due to low thermal performance requirements when constructed, could improve the energy performance of the buildings similar or better to the peformance on new buildings with the most updated insulation standard. Thus, when remodeling a deteriorated building, green roofs could be a good option to meet the most recent energy requirements.
Purpose: Management of pediatric subtrochanteric femur fractures (SFFs) is difficult. The aim of this study was to evaluate the outcomes of adolescent SFFs treated with adult proximal humeral locking plates (PHLPs). Materials and Methods: A retrospective analysis of 18 adolescents (11 male, 7 female) with a diagnosis of SFF who underwent internal fixation with a PHLP was conducted. Data regarding injury mechanism, fracture pattern, and time to union were recorded for all patients. In addition, a clinical and functional evaluation of patients was performed using the Harris hip score (HHS), Iowa hip score (IHS), modified Merle d'Aubigne-Postel score (MMAPS), Flynn criteria, and hip range of motion (ROM). Results: The mean age of the patients was 12.72±2.05 years (range, 10-16 years). Radiological observation was performed for evaluation of five different injury mechanisms and different fracture patterns in patients. The mean postoperative HHS was 92.27±5.61, the mean IHS was 90.88±6.46, and the mean MMAPS was 17.22±0.94. According to the Flynn criteria, excellent results were achieved in 14 cases and satisfactory results were obtained in four cases. Measurements of the patients' mean hip ROM values were as follows: 17.77±3.52° in extension, 115.27±6.74° in flexion, 43.05±3.48° in abduction, 27.50±4.28° in adduction, 42.22±4.60° in internal rotation, and 42.22±3.91° in external rotation. Conclusion: Surgery performed on adolescent patients using an adult PHLP showed good, safe results. Therefore, it should be considered as an alternative option.

Financial markets are characterized by large numbers of complex and interacting factors which are ill-understood and frequently difficult to measure. Mathematical models developed in finance are precise formulations of theories of how these factors interact to produce the market value of financial asset. While these models are quite good at predicting these market values, because these forces and their interactions are not precisely understood, the model value nevertheless deviates to some extent from the observable market value. In this paper we propose a framework for augmenting the predictive capabilities of mathematical model with a learning component which is primed with an initial set of historical data and then adjusts its behavior after the event of prediction.
Noise map is a presentation of existing data or predicted noise situation in terms of noise indicator. However, it has shortcoming for assessing the number of people exposed, or the number of dwellings affected to any relevant limit values of noise level in certain areas. In this study, so called over-ride value noise mapping is proposed to make up for the shortcoming by using over-ride function of object-oriented programming and it is to show the guard of the area where it is satisfied the standard of option, or it is not satisfactory. Over-ride value noisemap data is combined with topography layer, population and house statistics, and GIS space statistical analysis. The over-ride value noise mapping can also he applied to make the road traffic noisemap, the railroad noisemap, the aircraft noisemap, and the industrial site noisemap This can express noise damage information more exactly.
