흑생강 제조 공정 최적화 및 기능성 흑생강 음료 제조 (Optimization of Processing Conditions for Making a Black Ginger and Design Mixture for Black Ginger Drinks)

  • 생강이 가지고 있는 항산화력을 최대화 시키기 위해 다양한 제조 공정에서 흑생강을 제조하였다. 증숙 온도 및 시간에 따른 DPPH radical 소거능을 측정하였고, 이를 반응표면 분석법에 의해 최적화된 제조 공정을 선정하였다. DPPH radical 소거능을 최대화 할 수 있는 최적 점을 설정한 결과 93.2$^{\circ}C$에서 6시간의 증숙 공정이 설정되었다. 제조한 흑생강을 음료로 개발하기 위해, 매실 농축액과 꿀을 혼합하여 기능성과 선호도가 높은 음료를 제조하였다. DPPH radical 소거능, 플라보노이드 함량, 관능평가의 canonical 계수를 이용하여 수적 최적화를 통하여 최적 배합비를 구한 결과, 흑생강 추출물 14.2%, 매실농축액 5%, 꿀 10.8%로 나타났고 desirability가 0.615로 설정되었다. 이때의 종속 변수값들은 DPPH radical 소거능 46.0 mg/L, 플라보노이드 함량 29.9 mg/L, 선호도 5.284로 예측되었다.

마늘분말을 이용한 간편한 tea-bag형 침출차의 개발 (Development of Formulation of Ten-bag Type Garlic Tea)

  • 향신료로 널리 사용되는 마늘을 이용하여 마늘 특유의 맛과 향을 조절하여 쉽게 음용할 수 있는 tea-bag type침출차를 제조하는 방법을 개발하였다. 주재료인 마늘은 생마늘을 고온에서 구운 것보다 50℃에서 건조한 분말을 사용하는 것이 관능적으로 우수하였다. 단맛의 소재로 당전이 스테비아 감미료를 사용하여 마늘의 맛과 향을 masking할 수 있는 첨가물을 선발하였다. 그 결과 최종적으로 녹차, 둥굴레, 칡이 선발되었으며, 이들을 2종류씩 혼합한 경우 masking 효과는 두 종류의 부재료를 동량으로 사용한 실험구가 우수하였다. 마늘의 농도는 건조분말로 20∼30%, 스테비아 감미료의 농도는 1%가 적당하였다. 총 3종류의 formulation을 확립하였으며 관능적으로도 큰 차이는 없었다. 시판중인 현미녹차와 품질(색도, 탁도, 고형분 농도)을 비교한 결과 색도는 현미녹차가, 탁도와 고형분 농도는 마늘차가 우수하였다.

  • Glyco-acrylate and methacrylate were synthesized by lipase-catalyzed glycosylation of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and their vinyl esters with $\beta$-methyl fructoside and glycerol in t-butanol as a reaction medium. At the optimum conditions for enzymatic glycosylation of acrylic acid and vinyl methacrylate, we attained up to 80% conversion for glyco-acrylate from acrylic acid and 90% conversion for glyco-methacrylate from vinyl methacrylate. The polymerizable glyco-acrylates and methacrylate have biomedical application as hydrophilic monomers and hydration modifiers to be use for hydrogel contact lens formulation.

  • This study presents the applicable possibility of numerical optimization and Genetic Algorithm in the design of truss structures using discrete variables and real constraints. The introduction of Genetic Algorithm in the design of truss structures enables us to do easier formulation and handle discrete variables. To investigate these applicable possibility, the design of 15 - bar truss structures has been studied using GT/STRUDL and Genetic Algorithm and the results of Genetic Algorithm are compared with GT/STRUDL's.

  • In order to develope an optimum formulation for iontophoretic delivery of vitamine-C-2 phosphate. we have prepared 3 different formulations using hydrophilic polymers, such as poloxamer, carbo pol and HPMC and iontophoretic flux through skin from these hydrogel formulations was carried out. The effect of current density, drug concentration and current profile on flux was investigated. In-vitro flux study was performed at 36.5$^{\circ}C$, using side-by-side diffusion cell. Full-thickness hairless mouse skin was used for this work. (omitted)

  • The apparent advantages of FRP (fiber reinforced plastics) composites over the conventional structural materials may be attributed to their high specific strength and stiffness. Other affordable properties of FRPs including an excellent durability make them particularly attractive for the structures in severe service conditions. Therefore, the material and sectional properties of a FRP structural component should be designed to meet its specific requirements and service conditions. This paper is performed the material property optimization under optimum design of pultruded FRP bridge deck section. In the problem formulation, an objective function is selected to minimize the maximum R(strength ratio). The thickness of layers, volumes of fibers and matrix fiber orientation, and stacking sequence of FRPs are used as the design variables. Strength ratio in the design code, material failure criteria and pultruded manufacture thickness are selected as the design constraints to enhance the material performance of FRP decks. From the results of the numerical investigation, we obtained the optimum deck section profile for conventional using object.

Multiobjective optimum design of laminated composite annular sector plates

  • This paper deals with multiobjective optimization of symmetrically laminated composite angle-ply annular sector plates subjected to axial uniform pressure load and thermal load. The design objective is the maximization of the weighted sum of the critical buckling load and fundamental frequency. The design variable is the fibre orientations in the layers. The performance index is formulated as the weighted sum of individual objectives in order to obtain the optimum solutions of the design problem. The first-order shear deformation theory is used for the mathematical formulation. Finally, the effects of different weighting factors, annularity, sector angle and boundary conditions on the optimal design are investigated and the results are compared.

  • Recently, researches on controlled low strength materials using coal ashes have been actively conducted in Korea. Controlled Low Strength Material by using a large amount of Coal Ashes, which is a by-product of the industry, will solve the environmental problems caused by coal ash as well as economic formulation. In this paper, the compressive strength and flow of the CLSM binder were investigated in order to select the optimum mixing ratio.

  • 본 연구에서는 구조물의 최적설계에서 나타나는 여러 가지 불확실성을 고려하기 위해 퍼지이론을 도입한 다목적 강구조 퍼지 최적설계에 관한 연구로, 다목적 퍼지 최적설계가 단일 목적의 최적설계보다 합리적인 설계가 됨을 보이는데 목적이 있다. 최적설계에 시용된 목적함수는 구조물의 중량과 처짐을 최소화하는 다목적 함수로 취하였고, 제약조건은 하중저항계수설계법(AISC-LRFD, 1994)의 설계규준을 따랐으며, 구조해석은 기하학적인 비선형을 고려한 유한요소해석법을 이용하였다. 성질이 서로 다른 다목적을 가지는 최적문제를 다루기 위하여 소속중요도 적용법과 목적중요도 적용법을 이용하여 다양한 최적해를 구함으로써, 사용자에게 현실여건에 알맞는 합리적인 최적 해를 선택할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다.

어린 보릿가루를 첨가한 설기떡의 재료 혼합비의 최적화 (Ingredient Mixing Ratio Optimization for the Preparation of Sulgidduk with Barley(Hordeum vulgare L.) Sprout Powder)

  • This study was performed to determine the optimum ratio of ingredients in the Sulgidduk with barley(Hordeum vulgare L.) sprout powder. A mathematical analytical tool was employed for optimization of the typical ingredients. The canonical form and trace plot showed the affect of each ingredient in the mixture against the final product. Mixture design showed 14 experimental points, including 4 replicates for three independent variables. The three independent variables selected for the experiment were: water($15{\sim}22%$), barley sprout powder($1{\sim}4%$), and sugar($12{\sim}19%$). The optimum responses variables such as color values(L, a, and b), instrumental texture parameters(hardness, gumminess, and chewiness), and sensory characteristics(appearance, color, smell, taste, softness, moistness, and overall acceptability) were evaluated. The Hunter colorimetric L- and a-values of the Sulgidduk decreased with an increasing amount of barley sprout powder. As more barley sprout powder was added, a higher b-value resulted. Textural hardness, gumminess, and chewiness were lowered by the addition of barley sprout powder. The optimum formulation obtained by both numerical and graphical methods showed similar results. The representative optimal ingredient ratio commonly obtained by both methods were: 18.2% water, 2.0% barley sprout powder, and 14.8% sugar.
