무인항공기 탑재 안테나 간 간섭을 고려한 안테나 최적 위치 분석 (Analysis of Optimum Antenna Placement Considering Interference Between Airborne Antennas Mounted on UAV)

  • 본 논문에서는 무인항공기에 탑재된 안테나 간의 간섭을 고려한 안테나 최적 위치 분석에 대해서 서술하였다. 분석은 전방향성 안테나들 중 운용 주파수 대역이 인접하고, 상호 간 이격거리가 가까운 곳에 위치한 안테나들을 선정하여 수행하였다. 분석을 수행한 안테나는 제어용 데이터링크, TCAS(Traffic Collision & Avoidance System), IFF(Identification Friend or Foe), GPS(Global Positioning System)와 RALT(Radar ALTimeter) 안테나들이다. 안테나 최적 위치 분석은 세 단계로 구분된다. 첫 번째 단계는 안테나 용도, 형상 및 방사패턴을 고려한 안테나 초기 위치 선정 후 안테나 장착 시 무인항공기 구조물에 의한 안테나 방사패턴과 반사손실 특성 변화를 관찰하여 최적의 특성을 갖는 지점을 선정하는 것이다. 두 번째 단계는 안테나 간의 결합특성과 송신 안테나의 불요파 세기 및 수신 안테나의 최저수신감도를 고려하여 안테나 간 간섭 정도를 분석하는 것이다. 간섭이 발생할 경우, 간섭이 미발생하는 최소이격거리를 분석하여 간섭이 발생하지 않는 최적 위치를 선정한다. 마지막 단계는 안테나 간 추가 거리 이격으로도 간섭이 제거되지 않을 경우, 안테나 간 주파수 이격 분석을 통한 주파수 간섭 대책을 확정하는 것이다. 이러한 분석 과정은 개발단계에서 안테나 간 간섭을 예측하여 간섭이 발생하지 않는 안테나 최적 위치 선정에 유용하게 사용된다.

선박동적영역과 충돌위험평가식을 결합한 항해위험성평가모델 전개 (Establishment of Navigational Risk Assessment Model Combining Dynamic Ship Domain and Collision Judgement Model)

  • 이 연구는 운항자가 항해 중 위험을 느끼는 고정 및 이동 물표에 대한 해상교통위험성평가에 대한 것이다. 이를 위해 선박 길이와 속력, 선박조종성능이 고려된 동적선박영역을 기초로 한 충돌위험평가식을 구하였다. 특히, 동적선박영역과 충돌위험평가식을 하이브리드 결합하여 자선의 크기, 속력 등의 영향을 정량적으로 지표화한 항해위험성평가모델을 검토 및 개선하고자 한 것이다. 기존 항해위험성평가 모델에 적용이 부족한 속장비(speed length ratio) 즉, 선박의 길이와 속력에 대한 비가 고려된 새로운 형태의 해상교통위험성평가 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 그 결과 무차원 속력 즉, 속장비가 클수록 CJ 값이 크며, CJ 값은 속장비에 의해 잘 표현되고 있다. 또한, 속장비가 크면 속장비가 작은 경우보다, 보다 먼 거리에서부터 [주의], [경계], [위험] 또는 [매우위험]상태에 도달한다. 이 연구의 결과는 위험항로 회피 또는 최적항로 구축, 방파제폭이나 교량경간 등을 포함한 항로나 항만개발, 연안항해용 안전해도 개발 및 향후 자율운항선박과 같은 스마트선박의 운항 중 충돌방지와 최적항로 선정에 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Genetic Algorithm is well known as the efficient algorithm which can solve a difficult optimization problem. Recently, there has been increasing interest in applying genetic algorithm to problem related to network design. In this paper, we propose a two-step genetic algorithm for designing a optimum virtual path network(VPN) for a given physical network and traffic demand. The first step is a routing step in which a route is found between every node pair in the network. In the second step, paths are assigned as VPs so as to minimize the total number of VPs configured, the number of VPs carried by a link, and the VP hopcount. We study the performance of the propose algorithm through simulation. The result shows that the VPN generated by the proposed algorithm is good in minimizing the number of VPs configured, the load on a link, and the VP hopcount.

Maximum User Utility on Contents Delivery System with Multiple Priority Classes

  • For contents delivery systems, the service is considered in which the utility depends on each priority class. This paper deals with the multiple priority class of the contents delivery system from the viewpoint of the utility. The willingness to pay (WTP) is introduced as a measure of utility, and the optimum condition is analyzed to maximize the total user's utility. For the system with multiple priority classes, the optimum condition is given in terms of the traffic load, wating time for service for each priority class. Systems with the priority classes, 1, 2 and 3 are analyzed, and the effect of the number of priority classes is examined.

  • 도로의 노선 선정은 기본적이면서도 중요한 과정이다. 하지만 노선 선정 과정은 기술적, 교통적, 환경적 요인 등을 동시에 고려해야 한다. 여러 대안노선을 검토하여 이용가치를 극대화하고 공사비를 절감할 수 있는 최적노선을 선정해야 한다. 본 연구는 도로건설공사의 기본설계단계에서 GIS와 연계될 수 있는 방법들을 분류하고 주관적 평가를 통해 합리적인 노선 선정 방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

The Effect of the Exposed Aggregate Concrete Pavement on the Reducing Traffic Noise Emission

  • Portland cement concrete (PCC) pavements are more durable and have superior surface friction compared to most dense-graded asphalt. However, data collected to date generally show PCC pavements to create more noise than asphaltic surfaces. Recent research has shown that some of the new concrete pavement textures are worthy of further examination. One of these, exposed aggregate surfaces, appear to provide better noise quality characteristics as well as good frictional characteristics and durability. In this paper, we considered the relationship between noise level and various textures of exposed aggregate concrete (EAC) pavement by tire impact noise measurement. As the results of that, it was suggested that optimum surface texture and manufacturing condition of EAC in order to reduce tire and pavement interaction noise. Conclusively, we would like to recommend optimum condition of EAC pavement at the respects of materials and treatment. Furthermore, Frequency spectrum as well as A-weighted noise level was also evaluated to analyze properties of noise between PCC and EAC.

Aggregated Smoothing: Considering All Streams Simultaneously for Transmission of Variable-Bit-Rate Encoded Video Objects

  • Transmission of continuous media streams has been a challenging problem of multimedia service. Lots of works have been done trying to figure out the best solution for this problem, and some works presented the optimal solution for transmitting the stored video using smoothing schemes applied to each individual stream. But those smoothing schemes considered only one stream, not the whole streams being serviced, to apply themselves, which could only achieve local optimum not the global optimum. Most of all, they did not exploit statistical multiplexing gain that can be obtained before smoothing. In this paper, we propose a new smoothing scheme that deals with not an individual stream but the whole streams being serviced simultaneously to achieve the optimal network bandwidth utilization and maximize the number of streams that can be serviced simultaneously. We formally proved that the proposed scheme not only provides deterministic QoS for each client but also maximizes number of clients that can be serviced simultaneously and hence achieves maximum utilization of transmission bandwidth.

  • An operation planning of lift car is crucial in tall building construction especially it's arrangement plans, because it is related with transportation distance of finishing materials affecting construction productivity. Since tall building construction, composed of complicating and huge plane have complex traffic lines of finishing materials, to determine the position of lift car empirically or intuitively has limits. Therefore this paper suggest an optimum layout model of lift car minimizing the transportation distance both at site-level and floor-level using Graph theory and Dijkstra algorithm.

Web Server Cluster Load Balancing

  • This study designs a load balancer via direct routing that share a virtual service on a single IP address in the Linux system and suggests an efficient load balancing method to improve transmission speed in the web server cluster environment. It will increase performance and scalability with fast packet transfer and removing bottleneck problem by using TCP Splicing and Content-Aware Distributor method. This method is expected to be the noticeable technology that provides an important interface, which make application services for e-commerce effectively be applied to high-speed network infrastructure. At this time, it is required to study further on the optimum balancing method in the web server cluster environment so as to apply the hybrid (optimum load balancing method by software and hardware) method and improve the reuse of security cession based on high-speed TCP connections.

고속도로시스템의 정주기식 램프미터링을 위한 최적화모형의 개발 (Developement of an Optimization Model for Freeway Entrance-Ramp Metering)

  • Peak-period congestion is a frequent occurrence on many freeways. Entrance-metering is an effective strategey in improving urban freeway traffic condition. This paper describes the prodecure to develop a computer program for proparing optimum ramp-metering stategies. Four existing ramp-metering optimaization models wer reviewed and evaluated in regared to their theories and actural performances. A optimization model was proposed in this paper. Final model takes aform of quadratic programming. The performance of the propeosed model wastest using FREFLO.
