유전 알고리즘을 이용한 지하철 객차 내 승객의 최적대피경로 탐색 (Research finding optimized evacuation route of people in subway passenger cars using genetic algorithm)

  • There have been subway conflagrations such as Daegu subway conflagration at 2003, Washington D.C conflagration last month and so on. Compared to that, proper evacuation route is far from satisfactory. So this paper suggests optimized route when subway's passengers evacuate from passenger cars. For conducting our experiment, We made temporarily a model of subway station which is made up with 8 passengers cars and 3 exits. Using genetic algorithm, we found the optimized route that first and second passenger cars are optimized to first exit and third, fourth, fifth and sixth passengers cars are optimized to second exit and finally seventh, eighth passengers cars are optimized to third exit. It is expected that real subway station is applied to our experiment by developing passenger distribution algorithm.

A New Route Optimization Scheme for Network Mobility: Combining ORC Protocol with RRH and Using Quota Mechanism

  • Network mobility (NEMO) based on mobile IP version 6 has been proposed for networks that move as a whole. Route optimization is one of the most important topics in the field of NEMO. The current NEMO basic support protocol defines only the basic working mode for NEMO, and the route optimization problem is not mentioned. Some optimization schemes have been proposed in recent years, but they have limitations. A new NEMO route optimization scheme-involving a combination of the optimized route cache protocol (ORC) and reverse routing header (RRH) and the use of a quota mechanism for optimized sessions (OwR)-is proposed. This scheme focuses on balanced performance in different aspects. It combines the ORC and RRH schemes, and some improvements are made in the session selection mechanism to avoid blindness during route optimization. Simulation results for OwR show great similarity with those for ORC and RRH. Generally speaking, the OwR's performance is at least as good as that of the RRH, and besides, the OwR scheme is capable of setting up optimal routing for a certain number of sessions, so the performance can be improved and the cost of optimal routing in nested NEMO can be decreased.

지도 오픈 API를 활용한 사용자 경험 기반 최적화 이동 경로 탐색 기법의 설계와 구현 (Design and Implementation of Optimized Route Search Technique based on User Experience Using Open APIs)

  • Among location-based systems, a route search service is very highly utilized as a representative technique, but it provides relatively low accuracy when we find a route path on foot in our real environment. In this paper, we design and implement an optimized route search technique based on user experience utilizing open APIs as location-based services. Finally, we develop an Android-based application to provide this feature. In our experiment, we found that our technique enhanced performance by about 14-36% compared to previous solutions, such as route path searches using map APIs. In addition, the performance of our technique can be further enhanced, as the number of users who find such optimized route path is increasing.

Energy Minimization을 이용한 유압 호스의 최적 경로 설계 (Optimization Routing Path Design of Hydraulic Hose Using Energy Minimization)

  • The piping route of hydraulic hose is designed with avoiding interferences to surrounding components. However, in a real practice, the piping route is mostly decided with an expert's experiences on site due to the complexity of design. Thus, this paper proposes a design methodology of the optimized route of a hose. We use NURBS representation to describe the piping route, which is possible to be locally modified, and an energy minimization method is applied to avoid interferences to the surroundings. In other words, the NURBS curve describing a piping route is modified to meet the desired positions from minimizing the perturbation of the control points, and the strain energy of the curve is then optimized to make the curve natural. The proposed method is implemented and its feasibility is validated using the commercial CAD software, CATIA V5.

  • 무선 네트워크 이동성 기술에 대한 연구가 수년간 진행되어 오면서 Mobile Network에 PAN(Personal Area Network)과 유사한 형태의 Nested Mobile Network에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 이러한 Nested Mobile Network에서의 경로최적화(Route Optimization : RO) 기술에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. NEMO(NEtwork MObility)의 RO를 위해 제안된 논문 중에 ORC(Optimized Route Cache Protocol)에 대한 제안이 있었다.[1] NEMO Basic Support가 표준안으로 채택되면서 연구 대상에서 거론되지 않고 있지만, 복잡한 이동성 기술인 Nested Mobile Network상의 RO를 위해 다시 검토해 볼 수 있을 것이다. 또한 동일 저자에 의해 제안된 Nested Mobile Network 내부에 Ad-hoc Routing 알고리즘인 OLSR(Optimized Link State Routing Protocol)을 적용한 제안이 발표되었다.[2] 본 논문에서는 ORC와 Nested Mobile Network상의 OLSR Scheme을 적용하여 RO를 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

항차 데이터 기반 간이 연료 소모량 추정 및 최적 경유 항구 추천 시스템 개발 (A Development of Simple Fuel Consumption Estimation and Optimized Route Recommendation System based on Voyage Data of Vessel)

  • 최근, 유럽 연합 가입국을 기항지로 항해하는 선박을 대상으로 배출 가스를 측정한 후, 그 결과를 보고하고 검증받는 MRV 규제의 시행을 앞두고 있다. 이러한 배출 가스량을 경험적으로 산정해보기 위하여 본 논문에서는 간이 연료 소모량 추정 및 최적 경유 항구 추천 시스템을 개발하기 위한 내용을 다룬다. 이를 위해 10여 년간 축적된 선박의 항차 데이터를 기반으로 각 항구별 연료 소모량, 거리, 소요 시간을 분석하여, 이를 기반으로 연료 소모량을 추정하는 모듈을 개발하였다. 또한 선박의 출발지와 목적지 사이의 최적 경유 항구를 추천하기 위한 기능을 비롯하여 실제 운항 경로 표시 기능, 실제 운항 경로와 최적 경로와의 비교 기능, 사용자 지정 경유 항구 선택 기능을 제공하기 위한 모듈을 구현하였다. 개발한 시스템은 선박의 운항 계획 등을 위한 참고 지표로 활용이 가능할 것으로 기대되며, 축적된 데이터를 기반으로 학습하여 미래 데이터를 예측하기 위한 선행 연구로서 의미가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • 상권 내에 존재하는 여러 개의 주차장을 통합 관리하는 시스템에서는 주차장의 실시간 현황 및 접근 경로를 변화 등과 같은 다양한 실시간 제약 조건을 고려한 최근접 주차장에 대한 경로 안내가 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 실시간 제약 조건을 고려한 통합 주차관제 시스템의 최적 경로 탐색 기법을 제안 하고자 한다. 구체적으로 고객이 지정한 주차장의 여러 가지 상황(주차거부, 휴업, 공사 중, 도로 통행 금지 등)을 고려한 인접 지역의 경로 재탐색 방법을 상황별로 알아보고, 각 상황에 맞는 최적의 주차장 접근 경로 탐색 기법을 자세히 다룬다.

모바일 Ad-hoc 무선 센서 네트워크에서 위치도움 협력 전송 방법 (A Location-Aided Cooperative Transmission Method in Mobile Ad-hoc Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 ad-hoc 무선 센서 네트워크에서 전력절약과 안정된 경로의 lifetime을 효과으로 지원하기 위한 위치 기반 협력 도움 라우팅 프로토콜(LACARP : Location-Aided Cooperative-Aided Routing Protocol)을 제안한다. 제안된 라우팅 프로토콜의 기본 아이디어 및 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전력 절약 전송을 지원하기 위해서 위치기반 정보를 이용하여 경로 탐색 영역을 설정한다. 둘째, 전력 절약 및 효율성 있는 전송을 위해서 설정된 경로 탐색 영역 안에서 스몰 존 기반의 경로 탐색 방법이다. 셋째, 협력도움 전송 방법이다. 설정된 경로위로 데이터를 전송 할 때 전력절약 및 경로의 lifetime을 효과적으로 지원하기 위해서 경로가 설정되지 않은 이웃 노드들로부터 협력도움을 받는다. LACARP의 성능평가는 OPNET(Optimized Network Engineering Tool)을 사용하여 이루어졌으며 성능평가를 통하여 제안된 프로토콜은 경로의 데이터 전송효율과 전력절약 전송 효과적으로 향상 시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

Layout Optimization Method of Railway Transportation Route Based on Deep Convolution Neural Network

  • To improve the railway transportation capacity and maximize the benefits of railway transportation, a method for layout optimization of railway transportation route based on deep convolution neural network is proposed in this study. Considering the transportation cost of railway transportation and other factors, the layout model of railway transportation route is constructed. Based on improved ant colony algorithm, the layout model of railway transportation route was optimized, and multiple candidate railway transportation routes were output. Taking into account external information such as regional information, weather conditions and actual information of railway transportation routes, optimization of the candidate railway transportation routes obtained by the improved ant colony algorithm was performed based on deep convolution neural network, and the optimal railway transportation routes were output, and finally layout optimization of railway transportation routes was realized. The experimental results show that the proposed method can obtain the optimal railway transportation route, the shortest transportation length, and the least transportation time, maximizing the interests of railway transportation enterprises.

A Study on Intuitive Technique of Risk Assessment for Route of Ships Transporting Hazardous and Noxious Substance

  • Despite the development of safety measures and improvements in preventive systems technologies, maritime traffic accidents that involve ships carrying hazardous and noxious substances (HNS) continuously occur owing to increased amount of HNS goods transported and the growing number of HNS fleet. To prevent maritime traffic accidents involving ships carrying HNS, this study proposes an intuitive route risk assessment technique using risk contours that can be visually and quantitatively analyzed. The proposed technique offers continuous information based on quantified values. It determines and structures route risk factors classified as absolute danger, absolute factors, and influential factors within the assessment area. The route risk is assessed in accordance with the proposed algorithmic procedures by means of contour maps overlaid on electronic charts for visualization. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed route risk assessment technique, experimental case studies under various conditions were conducted to compare results obtained by the proposed technique to actual route plans used by five representative companies operating the model ship carrying HNS. This technique is beneficial not only for assessing the route risk of ships carrying HNS, but also for identifying better route options such as recommended routes and enhancing navigation safety. Furthermore, this technique can be used to develop optimized route plans for current maritime conditions in addition to future autonomous navigation application.
