Real Time Traffic Signal Plan using Neural Network

  • In the past, when there were few vehicles on the road, the T.O.D.(Time of Day) traffic signal worked very well. The T.O.D. signal operates on a preset signal cycling which cycles on the basis of the average number of average passenger cars in the memory device of an electric signal unit. Now days, with increasing many vehicles on restricted roads, the conventional traffic light creates startup-delay time and end-lag-time. The conventional traffic light loses the function of optimal cycle. And so, $30-45\%$ of conventional traffic cycle is not matched to the present traffic cycle. In this paper we proposes electro sensitive traffic light using fuzzy look up table method which will reduce the average vehicle waiting time and improve average vehicle speed. Computer simulation results prove that reducing the average vehicle waiting time which proposed considering passing vehicle length for optimal traffic cycle is better than fixed signal method which doesn't consider vehicle length.

  • A genetic algorithm to determine the optimal signal sequence and double cycle pattern is described. The signal sequence and double cycle pattern are used as the input for TRANSYT to find optimal signal timing at each junction in the area traffic networks, In the genetic process, the partially matched crossover and simple crossover operators are used for evolution of signal sequence and double cycle pattern respectively. A special conversion algorithm is devised to convert the signal sequence into the link-stage assignment for TRANSYT. Results from tests using data from an area traffic network in Leicester region R are given.

  • This paper proposes a new concept for an optimal traffic signal cycle method which will reduce the average vehicle waiting time and improve average vehicle speed. Electro sensitive traffic system can extend the traffic cycle when there ar emany vehicles in the road or it can reduce the traffic consider vehicle length, so it can cause oveflow and reduce average vechicel waiting time at the intersection, we propose on optimal traffic cycle with fuzzy ruels and neural network. Computer simulation results prove that reducing the average vehicle waiting time which proposed considering passing vehicle's length for the optimal traffic cycle better than fixe dsignal method dosen't consider vehicle length.

  • We can reduce delays and number of stops in the traffic area by means of optimal design of traffic signal system. A computer simulation model to simulate and predict the traffic signal system of Jong-Ro 4-th street was developed for determination of optimal cycle time. This simulation model was developed in relation to Jong-Ro 4-th street, but this model can be applied for other places with small modification.

  • 제한된 도로에 급증하는 자동차로 인해서, 기존의 교통신호등은 최적주기기능을 상실하였다 기존의 교통신호등은 승용차 환산계수, 옵셋, 교차로 길이 등을 고려하지 않았으므로 기존 신호등의 30∼45%가 교통현시와 일치하지 않는다. 본 논문에서는 기존 교통신호등의 단점을 알아보고, 퍼지 규칙을 이용하여 교차로에서의 평균주행속도와 평균대기시간을 개선한다. 뿐만 아니라, 인터넷을 이용해서 위험한 도로, 공사 중인 도로 및 최적의 교통상황을 예보하는 기능을 제공할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 기존 교통신호등은 최적 교통신호주기기능을 상실했다. 기존 교통신호주기는 현시 교통주기와 30% -45% 가 일치하지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 평균 주행속도를 개선하고 평균 승용차 대기시간을 단축하기위해서 전자 교통신호등을 본 논문에서 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 실제 교통상황의 교통량, 출발 지연시간, 자동차속도 등의 40가지 센서 입력조건들을 저장하는 방법을 연구 중이다. 지능형 퍼지 기법을 이용하면, 서로 다른 10개의 교차로에 서 최 적의 녹색시간을 예측할 수 있다. 컴퓨터 모의실험 결과, 자동차 길이를 고려하지 않은 기존 교통신호등보다 . 오프셋 및 평균 자동차 대기시간을 줄일 수 있음이 입증되었다.

Through the use of a central nervous networking system or AI, using 10 different intersecting roads. We will improve the green traffic light.   • In this paper, we wish to construct a optimal traffic cycle using wire remote control. if police vehicle or ambulance suddenly enter the traffic intersection, it will increase the traffic accident. In this paper, wireless traffic light use the radio traffic control signal and research about the hardware manufacture to check special detectors on urgency vehicles may safety and rapidly enter traffic intersection. Also, this paper present a traffic signal control conditions that analyzes different traffic intersection flows in cases of saturated flows, where the real traffic volume demand is large and the capacity constraints of bottlenecks have significant effects on the flow patterns. Through computer simulation this wireless traffic light has been proven to be much more safety and efficient than fixed traffic signal light which does not considering emergency vehicles for safety escort.

  • 최적 교통 주기를 산출하기 위해서는 하위교차로에 대기차량이 얼마나 있는지를 점검해야 한다. 왜냐하면 대기차량이 상위교차로의 길이보다 크면 출발 지연 시간 및 승용차 대기시간이 발생하기 때문이다. 승용차 대기시간을 단축시키기 위해서 본 논문에서는 퍼지 신경망을 이용한 최적 연동 녹색시간 알고리즘을 제안한다. 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통해서, 서로 다른 교차로 조건을 고려하지 않은 고정 교통신호등 보다 평균 주행속도가 향상 된 것을 입증하였다.
