EOTS에서의 동조자이노스코프의 동작모드에 따른 특성비교 (Characteristics comparison according to operating mode of dynamically tuned gyroscope in the electro-optical tracking system)

  • DTG(dynamically tuned gyroscope) is a sensor detecting disturbance in angle velocity control loop of EOTS(electro optical tracking system), which is used for the stabilization of gimbal. DTG is classified into rate mode or rate integrated mode according to operating mode. In this paper, basic principles and characteristics of DTG, depending on to operating mode, are compared and the model of rate integrated mode DTG is proposed. Also, the validity of the presented model is verified by computer simulations and experiments.

  • 일반적으로, 우주센터 또는 위성발사장 에서는 발사체의 비행초기구간에 대한 비행영상을 획득, 분석하기 위하여 고성능 렌즈가 탑재된 광학추적장비를 사용한다. 본 원고에서는 위성 발사분야에서 광학추적장비에 탑재되어 사용되고 있는 렌즈의 종류와 기술동향에 대해 서술하였다. 또한 국내, 외 광학추적장비용 렌즈의 운용현황에 대해서도 간략히 기술하였다.

  • Using disturbance observer is effective to enhance tracking performance of system in the presence of disturbances. Various types of disturbance observers have been proposed to improve sensitivity of systems, but they tend to bring poor transient response due to cross coupling of inter-loops. In this paper, we propose dual disturbance observer(Dual DOB) which is designed to reduce the cross coupling. Dual DOB is consist of an internal DOB and an external DOB, that are designed for different object. The Dual DOB is applied to Optical Disk Drive tracking system. It is shown that the Dual DOB has improved performance over conventional DOB via experimental result. There is good agreement between simulation and experimental results.

표면 추적 알고리즘을 적용한 공통경로 FD-OCT의 성능개선 (Enhancement of Common-path Fourier-domain Optical Coherence Tomography using Active Surface Tracking Algorithm)

  • Optical coherence tomography(OCT) can provide real-time and non-invasive subsurface imaging with ultra-high resolution of micrometer scale. However, conventional OCT systems generally have a limited imaging depth range within a depth of only 1-2 mm. To overcome the limitation, we have proposed an active surface tracking algorithm used in common-path Fourier-domain OCT system in order to extend the imaging depth range. The surface tracking algorithm based on the threshold and Savitzky-Golay filter of A-scan data was applied to real-time tracking. The algorithm has controlled a moving stage according to the sample's surface variance in real time. An OCT image obtained by the algorithm clearly show an extended imaging depth range. Consequently, the proposed algorithm demonstrated the potential for improving the conventional OCT systems with limitary depth range.

Animal Tracking in Infrared Video based on Adaptive GMOF and Kalman Filter

  • The major problems of recent object tracking methods are related to the inefficient detection of moving objects due to occlusions, noisy background and inconsistent body motion. This paper presents a robust method for the detection and tracking of a moving in infrared animal videos. The tracking system is based on adaptive optical flow generation, Gaussian mixture and Kalman filtering. The adaptive Gaussian model of optical flow (GMOF) is used to extract foreground and noises are removed based on the object motion. Kalman filter enables the prediction of the object position in the presence of partial occlusions, and changes the size of the animal detected automatically along the image sequence. The presented method is evaluated in various environments of unstable background because of winds, and illuminations changes. The results show that our approach is more robust to background noises and performs better than previous methods.

  • In this paper, we propose a new a new EOST by using the optical JTC(joint transform correlator) as the feature extraction park, because the JTC can adaptively detect the relative displacements of moving targest. Firstly, we derive the BPEJCT(binary phase extraction JTC) which is a phase type JTC and can remove the intracless correlation peaks of the conventional JTC. Then, especially we hardware construction for driving the BPEJTC in real, and with the Kalman target estimation alogorithm, we carried out a target tracking experiment only to show the possibility of real-time implementation of the EOST.

  • This paper presents a tracking vibration estimation system of the track-following system using a tracking loop gain adjustment algorithm and a genetic algorithm. The algorithms are introduced to estimate accurately the tracking vibration quantity in spite of the uncertainties of the tracking actuator. An estimated actuator model can be found by applying a genetic algorithm. Accordingly, the tracking vibration quantity can be estimated from the measured tracking error, the tracking controller and the estimated actuator model. The proposed tracking vibration estimation method is applied to the track-following system of an optical recording device and is evaluated through the experimental result.

  • 본 논문에서는 복잡한 배경하에서 카메라가 움직이는 경우 스트레오 물체 추적을 위한 새로운 접근 방법으로 블록 정합 알고리즘을 사용하여 추적 물체와 배경을 분리한 후, 광 JTC를 이용해 주시각 및 팬/틸트 제어 값을 동시에 구함으로써 좌, 우측 카메라를 제어할 수 있는 스트레오 물체 추적 시스템을 제시하였다. 배경이 존재하는 여러 종류의 영상 프레임에 대한 추적실험 결과 배경 잡음에 강건하고 적응적으로 이동 물체의 위치를 추적할 수 있었으며, 광 JTC 시스템을 이용함으로써 스테레오 자동 물체추적 시스템의 실시간적 구현의 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • In order to improve target tracking performance of the conventional electro-optical tracking system (EOTS) in the high speed and high maneuvering vehicle, an EOTS navigation algorithm is proposed, in which an inertial measurement unit(IMU) is included and navigation results of the vehicle are used. The proposed algorithm integrates vehicle's navigation results and the IMU and the time-delay and the scale factor errors are augmented into the integrated Kalman filter. In order to evaluate the proposed navigation algorithm, a land vehicle navigation experiments were performed a navigation grade navigation system, TALIN4000 and a tactical grade IMU, LN-200 and a equipment for roll motion were loaded on the land vehicle. The performance evaluation results show that the proposed algorithm effecting works in high maneuvering environment and for the time-delay.

가시광 통신 시스템에서 광 빔포밍 전송을 위한 유저 단말 추적 방법 (A UE Position Tracking Method for Optical Beamforming Transmission in Visible Light Communications)

  • 본 논문은 가시광 통신 시스템에서 시스템 성능 향상 위해 광 빔포밍 전송기법을 적용할 때 광 신호 방사 범위 내에 단일 또는 다수의 접속 유저 단말(Rx)을 추적하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 광 빔포밍 전송기법은 RF에서 빔 형성 전송 방법과 매우 유사하여 가시광 통신 시스템의 통신 신호인 가시 광 신호를 유저 단말에게 전송할 때 빔 형성 벡터를 곱하여 특정 유저에게 질 좋은 가시 광 채널을 형성해 주는 기법이다. 이러한 광 빔포밍 전송을 적용하기 위해서는 먼저 가시 광 셀 내에 이동성을 가진 단말을 포함해 접속해 있는 유저 단말의 위치 추적이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서 하나의 가시 광 셀 내에 접속해 있는 유저 단말 추적 방법을 광 AP(Access Point)와 UE(User Equipment) 1:1 샘플을 취하여 기술하였고 이러한 UE 추적 방법을 통해 광 빔포밍 전송 기법을 적용했을 때 얻을 수 있는 5~6dB 정도의 SNR 성능 이득을 모의실험을 통하여 확인하였다.
