한우산에 분포하는 주름조개풀의 공간적 양상 (Spatial Distribution Patterns of Oplismenus undulatifolius var. undulatifolius on Mt. Hanwoo in Korea)

  • 국지적 환경에서 패치 분포 형태는 일차적으로 식물의 공간적 양상으로 나타나고, 임의화 과정은 패치를 결정하는 공간적 가설을 입증하는데 이용된다. 주름조개풀(Oplismenus undulatifolius (Ard.) P. Beauv. var. undulatifolius)은 Poaceae과 Oplismenus 속에 속하는 초본류이다. 이 종은 온대, 아열대, 열대에 분포한다. 이 지역의 주름조개풀이 일정한 분포인지 응집하는 분포인지 여러 패치 지표를 사용하여 분석하였다. 한우산의 집단 밀도는 0.453에서 4.375였으며 평균은 2.387이였다. 소형과 중형 프롯($2m{\times}2m$, $2m{\times}4m$, $4m{\times}4m$, $4m{\times}8m$, and $8m{\times}8m$)에서 주름조개풀은 응집형태를 보였다. 반면에 대형 플롯($8m{\times}16m$, $16m{\times}16m$, and $16m{\times}32m$)에서는 일정한 분포 양상을 나타내었다. 평균 응집 계수(M*)와 패치 지표(PAI)는 양의 값을 보였다. 응집은 여러 환경적 요인에 기인하는데 등산객들에 의해 방해되고 있었다. 따라서 주름조개풀은 이 지역에서 본래의 기본 생태적 지위를 누리지 못하고 있음을 보여주었다.

Elicitor 처리한 주름조개풀(Oplismenus undulatifolius)의 항산화, tyrosinase, elastase, collagenase 및 hyaluronidase 억제 활성 증대 (Elevation of anti-oxidative activity and inhibitory activities against tyrosinase, elastase, collagenase and hyaluronidase of Oplismenus undulatifolius by elicitor treatment)

  • 본 연구에서는 생리활성물질유도제인 elicitor를 처리한 주름조개풀의 열수, 에탄올 추출물들의 항산화 효과, tyrosinase, elastase, collagenase 및 HAase 등의 미용관련 생리활성의 변화를 살펴보았다. Elicitor 처리한 주름조개풀 추출물의 DPPH 및 PF 등의 항산화 효과는 elicitor 비처리구인 대조구에 비해 elicitor 처리구가 농도의존적으로 더 높은 항산화 활성을 나타내었다. Elicitor 처리한 주름조개풀 추출물의 미용활성은 elastase 및 collagenase 억제 효과에 의한 주름개선효과와 tyrosinase 저해에 의한 미백효과가 비처리구인 대조구에 비해 상대적으로 매우 높은 효소 억제 효과를 나타내어 elicitor 처리가 주름조개풀추출물의 미백 및 주름개선 효과의 증대에 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 농도의존적인 양상을 나타내었다. 또한 HAase 억제에 의해 유래되는 염증 억제 효과도 비처리구인 대조구에 비해 에탄올 추출물에서 우수한 염증 억제 효과를 나타내었다. Elicitor 처리에 의해 대조구에 비해 처리구에서 생리활성 효소에 대한 억제율이 큰 폭으로 상승하는 효과를 나타내어, elicitor 처리가 유용물질의 산업화라는 전제를 충족시키기 위한 biomass 기법으로 매우 적당하다는 것을 시사해주었다. 따라서 주름조개풀 노지재배 시에 본 연구에서 사용한 elicitor를 처리하면 수확되는 주름조개풀의 단위 무게 당 유용물질의 생산량을 높일 수 있고, 생리할성도 증대시킬 수가 있어 산업화를 위한 고기능성 원료생산에 효율적인 재배기법으로 활용할 수 있을 것이라 판단되었다.

안성시 상수리나무림의 식물사회학적 특성 (Phytosociological Characteristics of Quercus acutissima Forest in Anseong City)

  • The objective of this study is to find out phytosociological characteristics of Quercus acutissima dominant forest in Anseong city. A total of 39 phytosociological relevés were sampled. 4 syntaxa were classified to use the Z.-M. School's methodology. Species compositions in which this study adopted were Oplismenus undulatifolius-Quercus acutissima community(typicum subcommunity, phytolacca americana subcommunity), Quercus acutissima community, Pinus densiflora-Quercus acutissima community. All syntaxa were distributed in a high proportion of synanthropophyte where lower-slopes with low elevations and inclinations. Oplismenus undulatifolius-Quercus acutissima community was mainly distributed in the west side of Anseong city where high intensity and frequency of human impacts was experienced. While in the east where most of the areas are covered mountains, Quercus acutissima community and Pinus densiflora-Quercus acutissima community were distributed. As a results, phytolacca americana subcommunity belong to Oplismenus undulatifolius-Quercus acutissima community is sytaxon that reflects change in species composition of Quercus acutissma dominant forest due to the continuous landuse changes in Anseong city.

Effects of phenolics from Oplismenus undulatifolius in α-MSH-stimulated B16F10 melanoma cells

  • In this study, the efficacy of melanoma cell B16F10 was investigated using the Korean native plant Oplismenus undulatifolius (OU). First, the cell viability of the extract was more than 90% when treated with 15 ㎍/mL of phenolics from OU. The results showed that melanin biosynthesis and cellular tyrosinase synthesis were inhibited by treatment with α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone-stimulated mouse melanoma cell B16F10 at a concentration of 15 ㎍/mL of phenolics for cell-line efficacy. The expression of tyrosinase, tyrosinase-related protein (TRP)-1, TRP-2, and microphthalmia transcription factor (MITF) protein was confirmed by western blot to investigate the effect of phenolics from OU on melanin biosynthesis. When treated with phenolics from OU 15 ㎍/mL, tyrosinase, TRP-1, TRP-2, and MITF decreased the protein expression level. In particular, tyrosinase, TRP-1, and MITF inhibited the production amount to a level similar to that of the non-treated normal group, indicating that the effect was excellent. Therefore, phenolics from OU acts as an inhibitor of tyrosinase, TRP-1, TRP-2, and its transcription factor MITF, and participates in melanin biosynthesis mechanism. These results suggested the potential for development as a material.

사상공단 주변 식생의 생태적 특성 분석 (Analysis of the Ecological Characteristics of Vegetation in the Area Adjacent to Sasang Industrial Complex in Pusan Metropolitan City)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the change of soil characteristics effect on the condition of urban forest in Sasang parti located near Sasang Industrial Complex. The results of this study are as follows; 1. Soil hardness is increasing from the area of forest, to the entrance, to facilities in that order. Soil acidity pH4.19∼4.23 in Sasang park indicated a high acidity condition. High levers of K, Na, Mg, Ca are shown in the areas composed of high soil hardness. 2. Pinus thunbergii in the overstory tree layer, Alnus japonica in the understory tree layer, and Rhus sylvestris in the shurb layer are shown respectively as dominant species based on the ground survey and the compution of important value. Pinus thunbergii is decreasing, while Alnus japonica and increasing. 3. Oplismenus undulatifolius which has a strong tolerance for air pollution, is shown as a dominant species of herbaceous plants in Sasang park. There are 10 species of Harbaceous in Sasang park compared to 20 species in Molundae park. This shows that deversity in herbaceous plants are imported by air pollution. 4. Species diversity indices of Sasang park is 0.8738∼0.9700 compared to 1.0817∼ 1.233 in Molundae park is due to the good condition of soil environment in addition to air pollution effects. 5. The vitality of Pinus thunbergii is 16.41∼20.42ER in Sasang park, and 12.42∼ 16.81ER, in Molundae park. This shows that tree vitality are impacted by soil characteristics. The regression analysis between tree vitality and soil environment shows the effects of is soil hardness, soil moisture, soil acidity, K, Na, Mg, Ca.

주름조개풀(Oplismenus undulatifolius) 추출물의 생리활성 효소 억제 효과 (Inhibitory activities on biological enzymes of extracts from Oplismenus undulatifolius)

  • 주름조개풀에 함유되어 있는 phenolic contents는 water, 70% ethanol을 용매로 하여 추출하였을 때 각각 7.7, 10.1 mg/g의 함량을 나타내었다. 추출물의 phenolic 농도를 $50-200{\mu}g/mL$로 조절하여 항산화 효과를 측정한 결과, DPPH에서는 water, ethanol 추출물 $50{\mu}g/mL$ phenolics 농도에서 각각 78, 82%였고, ABTS radical decolorization는 $100{\mu}g/mL$ phenolics 농도에서 각각 92, 76%의 radical 소거능을 나타내었다. PF는 $200{\mu}g/mL$ phenolics 농도에서 water, ethanol 추출물에서 각각 1.51, 2.08 PF로 측정되었으며, TBARs값은 water, ethanol 추출물 $50{\mu}g/mL$ phenolics 농도에서 각각 84, 99%의 활성을 나타내었다. 기능성 식품 활성을 측정하는 ${\alpha}-Glucosidase$ 저해활성을 측정한 결과 ethanol 추출물 $200{\mu}g/mL$ phenolics 농도에서 44%의 억제력을 나타내었고, ${\alpha}-amylase$ 저해활성은 water 추출물 $50-200{\mu}g/mL$ phenolics 농도에서 37-88%의 효소 억제력을 나타내었다. 미용 식품 활성을 나타내는 tyrosinase 저해활성을 측정한 결과 ethanol 추출물에서 82%의 tyrosinase 저해효과를 나타내었다. 또한 elastase 저해활성을 측정한 결과 water, ethanol 추출물에서 각각 4, 61%로 나타내었고, collagenase 저해활성을 측정한 결과 water, ethanol 추출물 $200{\mu}g/mL$ phenolics 농도에서 각각 39, 67%로 ethanol 추출물에서 높은 억제력을 나타내어 우수한 저해효과를 확인하였다. Astringent 효과를 측정한 결과 water, ethanol 추출물 $200{\mu}g/mL$ phenolic 농도에서 각각 13, 32%의 astringent 효과를 나타내었다. Hyaluronidae 저해활성을 측정한 결과 ethanol 추출물 $200{\mu}g/mL$ phenolic 농도에서 46%의 Hyaluronidae 저해효과를 나타내었다.

RCP 8.5 시나리오를 이용하여 온량지수에 따른 천안시 적응 가능한 식물종 연구 (The Study of Adaptable Plant Species according to Warmth Index using RCP 8.5 Scenarios in Cheonan-Si)

  • This study was proposed to adaptable species according to climate change using warmth index(WI) in Cheonan-Si. RCP 8.5 was used to estimate change of warmth index(WI) depending on climate change in Cheonan-Si. Climatic change of Cheonan-Si was estimated to change from cool temperate forest central zone to warm temperate forest zone. The following plant species will survive within WI change of Cheonan-Si from 2010 to 2050 : 18 species in the tree layer including Quercus serrata, Q. variabilis, Pinus densiflora, Q. acutissima etc.; 28 species in the shrub layer including Rhus trichocarpa, Lindera obtusiloba, Zanthoxylum schinifolium etc.; 24 species in the herb layer including Oplismenus undulatifolius, Carex lanceolata, etc.; 12 species in the vine plants including Smilax china, Cocculus trilobus, etc.

임도 절토비탈면의 우점식물과 식물피복에 미치는 인자들의 영향 -­전라북도를 대상으로­- (Dominant Species and Factors Related with Plant Coverage in the Cutting Slopes of Forest Road -In Jeollabuk-do Region­-)

  • To investigate the dominant species and factors related with plant coverage by road structures and forest environment factors, forest roads elapsed from one year to twelve year after construction had been selected in six county(Gochang-gun, Muju-gun, Imsil-gun, Jangsu-gun, Jeongup-shi and Jinan-gun), and 20m segments were continuously set up in each road. The results obtained from this study are summarized as follows: The species diversity of Gochang, Muju, Imsil, Jangsu, Jeongup and Jinan were 1.304, 1.267, 1.308, 1.193, 1.289 and 1.018, respectively. In process of years, plant coverage was increased gradually and average of plant coverage was 15.3% in forest roads which elapsed three year, and was 86.5% in forest roads which elapsed nine year after construction. The dominant species in the cutting slope of surveyed area were covered with Arundinella hirta, Pinus rigida, Miscanthus sinensis var. purpurascens, Artemisia princeps var. orientalis, Pinus densiflora, Oplismenus undulatifolius, Rubus coreanus, Lysimachia clethroides, Lespedeza bicolor, and Alnus hirsuta of the 152 species. The high correlated factors between plant coverage and variables in cutting slopes appeared elapsed year, soil hardness, mean annual precipitation, vertical grade, inslope and arid humidity in surveyed area.

Analysis for the relationship of environmental factors and vegetation structure at natural streamside valley and riparian forest in South Korea

  • We classified the streamside plant community by phyto-sociological method and analyzed the relationship between environment factors and vegetation structure by using the classification and ordination method. We found that twenty one plant communities were classified according to dominant species at the natural streamside valley forest with surveying the 65 quadrats (10 m × 10 m). From the survey results, the hardwood plant communities were classified as streamside valley forest and the softwood plant communities as riparian forest according to the degree of flooding. The valley forest had a distribution of 17 plant communities which was 65% (42 quadrats) of 65 quadrats: Maackia amurensis community, Betula davurica community, Quercus variabilis community, Pinus densiflora community, Q. serrata community, Prunus sargentii community, and Meliosma oldhamii community etc. The riparian forest had a distribution of four plant communities which was 35% (23 quadrats) of 65 quadrats: Salix koreensis community, S. rorida community, S. purpurea var. japonica community, and S. glandulosa community, etc. From the two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN) analysis, we found indicator species Oplismenus undulatifolius and Lindera obtusiloba for the streamside valley forest and Humulus japonicus, Phragmites japonica, and S. koreensis for the riparian forest. From the results of the canonical correspondence analysis (CCA), coordinates, altitude, and stream structure showed low correlation to the distribution of the plant community. Therefore, it seemed that valley forest and riparian forest were distinguished by the stream gradient and waterway width which determined by the stream water level.

RCP4.5와 8.5 시나리오를 이용한 온량지수 변화에 따른 서울시 적응 가능한 식물종 연구 (The Study of Adaptable Plant Species to the Change of Warmth Index by Using RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 Scenarios in Seoul City)

  • 본 연구는 RCP 4.5와 RCP 8.5 기후변화 시나리오를 이용하여 서울시 온량지수 변화를 추정하였으며, 이에 따른 적응 가능한 식물종을 제안하였다. 기후변화 시나리오에 따라 서울시의 온량지수 변화의 차이는 있었으나 냉온대 남부림에서 난온대림으로 변화할 것으로 예상된다. 2010년부터 2099년까지 서울시 온량지수 분포변화를 예측한 결과에 따른 적응 가능한 식물종은 교목층에 졸참나무, 굴참나무, 소나무, 상수리나무, 때죽나무, 곰솔 등 6종이었으며, 관목층에는 쥐똥나무, 조록싸리, 개옻나무, 작살나무, 산딸기, 찔레꽃, 초피나무 등 7종이었고, 초본층은 주름조개풀, 고사리, 닭의 장풀 등 3종, 덩굴성식물에는 청미래덩굴, 댕댕이덩굴, 담쟁이덩굴, 인동, 계요등, 노박덩굴, 사위질빵, 멍석딸기, 마, 으름, 마삭줄 등, 등 11종을 포함하여 총 27종이 공통적으로 기후변화 시나리오에 따라 온량지수의 변화에도 적응 가능할 것으로 예상된다.
