In Korea tumors occurred frequently, and the tumor medicine used to treat them developed. Because tumors due to Koreans' physical constitution and environment and there has always been an impeding need for a cure, traces of such efforts can be found throughout Korean medical history. During the mid-Chosun dynasty, the government founded a government office that specialized in curing tumors. This study observes the establishment and operation of this institution.

This study assumes alternative character of the operation of mathematical club in middle school. The case that operated the voluntary mathematics club for one year was analyzed and the educational effect was considered. First, the examination instrument for choosing the members of mathematics club was developed and used. And, diverse teaching and learning materials for improving creativity and mathematical ability of the members were used. Second, the difference of learning result between the experiment group and control one who joined the activities of mathematics club was analyzed. Finally, mathematical club activity based on mathematics history appeared to be effective in improving academic achievement and mathematics exploration activity.

This study intends to link agricultural machine history data with related organizations or collect them through IoT sensors, receive input from agricultural machine users and managers, and analyze them through AI algorithms. Through this, the goal is to track and manage the history data throughout all stages of production, purchase, operation, and disposal of agricultural machinery. First, LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) is used to estimate oil consumption and recommend maintenance from historical data of agricultural machines such as tractors and combines, and C-LSTM (Convolution Long Short-Term Memory) is used to diagnose and determine failures. Memory) to build a deep learning algorithm. Second, in order to collect historical data of agricultural machinery, IoT sensors including GPS module, gyro sensor, acceleration sensor, and temperature and humidity sensor are attached to agricultural machinery to automatically collect data. Third, event-type data such as agricultural machine production, purchase, and disposal are automatically collected from related organizations to design an interface that can integrate the entire life cycle history data and collect data through this.

Purpose: LASIK, one of the currently popular ophthalmic procedures, can sometimes result in dry eye symptoms. In the patient who had underwent LASIK operation, the periorbital surgery may be more likely to lead to such a complication as dry eye symptom. We would like to report a case of corneal abrasion occurred after transconjunctival blepharoplasty in post-LASIK state and suggest the method about preventing the complication. Methods: A 30-year-old female patient underwent transconjunctival blepharoplasty and microfat graft into the face. She had history of LASIK operation 2 years ago. Corneal protector was applied to both eye during transconjunctival operation. After the surgery, she complained of visual blurring at left side. Ophthalmic examination revealed corneal abrasion of left eye. Results: Cornea protecting lens was applied to left eye for 2 weeks. Steroid and antibiotic eye drops were applied for relieving the symptoms and the prevention from progressing of complication. After 1 week, visual power and acuity was recovered to preoperative state. No other specific complications happened. Conclusion: Post-LASIK patient may have possibility of decreased corneal sensation and tear production. Preoperative ophthalmic examination is recommended for the prevention of complication. When corneal protector is applied, we suggest Optagel$^{(R)}$ as a useful lubricant.

Civil college is a public educational institute for theoretical and practical learning. This study examines the social context behind France's civil college and how it is being operated. Many studies have been conducted in Korea to examine Germany in terms of lifelong learning or adult learning, but there is almost no study on France. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the history and operation of civil college, the "college outside college," in France and what Korea should learn from it. The civil college of France can be discussed in two contexts: first, it is AUPF, which stands for the French association of civil colleges, and it was mostly influenced by Northern Europe and Germany. Second, it is Caen Civil College, which was established by M. Onfray based his philosophical collaboration. The European civil college opened almost 1,000 courses in 2010-2011 for a variety of subjects, including Foreign Languages, Mother Tongue, the Dialects of Alsace, Philosophy, Cosmology, History, Art History, Psychology, Sociology, Astronomy, Botany, and Natural Science. Courses in Fine Arts include drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, music, and theater. For another form of civil college, Philosopher M. Onfray has been operating Caen Civil College since 2002 for general education and cultural education. It is not acknowledged by conventional philosophers, but it is contributing to the popularization of philosophy. In conclusion, the civil college in France has brought in-depth philosophical discussions out of the lecture rooms in an effort to popularize learning, making lifelong learning more accessible to the general public.

Background: Epidermal cysts are the most common benign epithelial tumors in humans. The curative treatment of epidermal cyst is surgical excision. However, only few studies have investigated the cause and mechanism of postoperative complications of epidermal cysts. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the factors affecting complications of epidermal cyst after surgical treatment. Methods: Patients with histologically diagnosed epidermal cysts were selected from among 98 consecutive patients with excised benign cystic tumors from March 2014 to August 2017. Sex, age, size, mobility, site of occurrence, history of infection, history of incision and drainage, complications, history of reoperation, and method of overcoming complications was obtained by analyzing medical records retrospectively. Results: Five of the 98 patients had wound dehiscence due to surgical infection. Three of them underwent wound healing with conservative treatment without a second operation. The other two patients underwent a second operation and showed signs of preoperative infection. None of the factors showed statistical significance in relation to the occurrence of complications. Conclusion: Postoperative complications occurred when the excision of the epidermal cyst was performed at preoperative infection sites or at sites with high tension, so attention should be paid to postoperative care.

The axial heterogeneous void distribution in a fuel channel is a relevant and important issue during nuclear reactor analysis for LWR, especially for boiling water channel-type reactors. Variation of the coolant density in fuel channel has an effect on the neutron spectrum that will in turn have an impact on the values of absolute reactivity, the void reactivity coefficient, and the fuel isotopic compositions during irradiation. This effect is referring to as the history effect in light water reactor calculations. As the void reactivity effect is positive in RBMK type reactors, the underestimation of water density heterogeneity in 3D reactor core numerical calculations could cause an uncertainty during assessment of safe operation of nuclear reactor. Thus, this issue is analysed with different cross-section libraries which were generated with WIMS8 code at different reference water densities. The libraries were applied in single fuel model of the nodal code of QUABOX-CUBBOX/HYCA. The thermohydraulic part of HYCA allowed to simulate axial water distribution along fuel assembly model and to estimate water density history effect for RBMK type fuel.

This study analyzes the behaviors on stress, fatigue and vibration about bulldozer in operation. Maximum equivalent stress is shown with the frequency of 100 Hz in case of the harmonic vibration analysis applied with force. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, 'SAE bracket history' with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but 'Sample history' becomes most stable. In case of 'Sample history' with the average stress of 0 to -105MPa and the amplitude stress of 0 to $1.617{\times}105MPa$, the possibility of maximum damage becomes 3.23%. This stress state can be shown with 5 times more than the damage possibility of 'SAE bracket history' or 'SAE transmission'. The structural result of this study can be effectively utilized with the design of bulldozer by investigating prevention and durability against its damage.

One of the purpose of the reservoir operation is minimizing theinnudation area in the downstream reaches during flood period.l To execute the gate operation properly , it requires lots of real-time data such as rainfall, reservoir level, and water level in the downstrea. Gate operation model was developed with the flood discharge obtained from real-time flood forecasting model and the criterion prepared from the past history of gate operation. Water level in the downstream would be increased by the releasing discharge from the spillway and the area of paddy land flooded in a certain detph and time would be estimated usnig GIS map. Gate operation model was applied to the Yedang reservoir, and the flooded area, depth and time in the paddy land was estimaged.
