컨테이너 터미널의 효율적인 듀얼 사이클을 위한 야드 운영 (Efficient Yard Operation for the Dual Cycling in Container Terminal)

  • 최근 컨테이너 터미널의 관리자들은 안벽의 생산성을 높이기 위해서 양 적하를 동시에 할 수 있는 더블 사이클이나 듀얼 사이클을 시도하고 있다. 하지만 실제 터미널의 데이터를 이용하여 듀얼 사이클을 발생시켰을 경우 YT(Yard Tractor) 배정 방법이나, QC(Quay Crane)의 작업의 속도, 야드의 수출컨테이너 위치 등에 따라 효율성이 저하될 수 있다. 특히 기존의 야드 운영방식으로는 듀얼 사이클이나 더블 사이클을 효율적으로 지원하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 실제 터미널에서 듀얼 사이클을 사용할 때 효율성을 더 높일 수 있는 터미널야드 운영방법을 제시한다. 모형은 시뮬레이션 분석 소프트웨어인 Arena를 이용하여 수립되었다.

  • 전체 수 출입 공급망 사슬관리에 있어서 항만의 운영 효율성은 아주 중요하다. 컨테이너 터미널에서는 안벽작업의 효율성을 극대화하기 위하여 더블 사이클과 듀얼 사이클 방법이 소개되었고, 야드 트랙터 할당의 효율성을 높이기 위해서 야드 트랙터(YT) 풀링 방법이 제시되었다. 모형은 시뮬레이션 분석 소프트웨어인 Arena를 이용하여 수립되었다.

Ad-hoc 네트워크 기반의 컨테이너장치장의 Dual Cycle 구현 (Implementation of Dual Cycle in Container Yard based on Ad-hoc Networks)

  • At container terminals, a major measurement of productivity can be work efficiency. For improving the productivity of container crane, the more efficient container yard operation method is necessary in container terminals. Recently, container terminal operators make an experiment on the dual cycle operation, which ship loading/unloading were carried out simultaneously, for increasing the productivity of container crane. In this paper, propose a system operating efficient dual cycle methods as utilize Ad-hoc technology in distributed port operation system. The dual cycle methods that proposed recognizes position information of Y/T during an action in Ad-hoc networks in case of container transfer works by real time as load an Ad-hoc module to Y/T taking charge of a container transfer with quay and yard. Utilize Ad-hoc networks technology in an operating system of container yard, and efficiently distributed processing done Y/T to container crane compare with operation systems of the existing dedicated method, and an improvement can do an operating system of an yard.

Loading pattern design and economic evaluation for 24-month cycle operation of OPR-1000 in Korea

  • Due to the tightened regulatory environment since the Fukushima accident, the capacity factor of Korean nuclear power plants has been declining since 2011. To overcome this circumstance, a shift from 18-month to 24-month cycle operation is being considered in Korea. Therefore, in this study, loading patterns(LPs) for 24-month cycle operation of the Korean standard nuclear power plant(OPR-1000) are suggested and economic evaluations are performed. A single-zone LP with 89 fresh fuels was evaluated to be optimal for 24-month operation of OPR-1000 in terms of economic gain. The 24-month operation of OPR-1000 with this LP gives a profit of 7.073 million dollars per year compared to 18-month operation.

전목 및 단목 집재작업시스템에서 작업시간 및 공정 분석 (An Analysis of the Operational Time and Productivity in Whole-tree and Cut-to-Length Logging Operation System)

  • 임목수확작업시스템 구축과 효율적인 임목수확작업 기술을 보급하기 위해 타워야더 및 스윙야더 등에 의한 전목집재작업시스템과 굴삭기 그래플 등에 의한 단목집재작업시스템의 작업시간 및 공정을 분석하였다. 전체 조사작업시간을 기준으로 분석한 1 cycle당 작업시간은 전목집재작업시스템에서 체인톱에 의한 벌목 46.6초/cycle, 타워야더에 의한 집재 480.6초/cycle, 스윙야더에 의한 집재 287.4초/cycle, 체인톱에 의한 조재 155.14초/cycle로 나타났다. 또 한 단목집재작업시스템에서는 체인톱에 의한 벌목 및 조재 225.65초/cycle, 굴삭기 그래플에 의한 단목집재 4,972초/cycle, 지엽집재 3,143초/cycle로 나타났으며, 바퀴식 미니포워더에 의한 소운재 4,688초/cycle, 굴삭기 그래플 및 소형운재차에 의한 소운재 2,118초/cycle로 나타났다. 전목집재작업시스템의 작업공정에서 체인톱에 의한 평균 벌목공정이 $57.89m^3$/일, 타워야더에 의한 평균 집재공정이 $20.3m^3$/일, 스윙야더에 의한 평균 집재공정이 $31.55m^3$/일, 체인톱에 의한 평균 조재공정이 $20.3m^3$/일로 나타났다. 또한, 단목집재작업시스템의 작업공정에서 체인톱에 의한 평균 벌목 및 조재공정이 $11.96m^3$/일, 굴삭기 그래플에 의한 평균 단목집재공정이 $34.75m^3$/일, 굴삭기 그래플에 의한 평균지엽수집공정이 $37.66m^3$/일, 굴삭기 그래플에 의한 평균 작업로의 개설공정이 73.8 m/일로 나타났으며, 바퀴식 미니포워더와 굴삭기 그래플 및 소형 운재차에 의한 평균 소운재 작업공정이 각각 $15.73m^3$/일과 $65.03m^3$/일로 나타났다.

복합종목 국제스포츠이벤트 생애주기에 대한 탐색적 연구 (Exploratory Study of International Sports Event Life Cycle)

  • Numerous types of sporting events have been hosted in Korea during the last decades. Sport events produce various types of data, and there is a clear necessity of storing and utilizing this information. From this background, the purpose of this study is to draw complex sports categories from international sport events life cycles in order to categorize standards of knowledges management system. This study utilized qualitative methods: expert groups discussion for overall life cycle steps and in-depth interviews for detail life cycle steps. The results show that there are several life cycle steps: bidding, preparation, operation, evaluation, post management steps. To be more specific, for the bidding step, there are check, plan, implementing detail phase; and the preparation step is based on event preparation Basis Build, event preparation implementation, test and supplementation phases. For the operation step, event operation system switch, event operation during the period, finish operation phases are deducted. Evaluation and post management step do not have detail phases. Efforts to store and utilize knowledge can be one of the starting points to make the operation of sport events efficiently.

Cycle-to-Cycle Fluctuations in a Spark Ignition Engine at Low Speed and Load

  • Cycle-to-cycle variation has long been recognized as limiting the range of operating conditions of spark ignition engines, in particular, under lean and highly diluted operation conditions. At a part load, some of the cycles tend to knock, while others may have incomplete combustion by the time the exhaust valve opens. An experimental study has been performed in order to evaluate the relative contribution of several relevant parameters on the cyclic variability in spark ignition engines. In general, the stability of engine operation is improved with fuel injector according to the optimal injection timing, but the stability of engine operation at idle is not improved compared with a practical gasoline engine. In this study, we investigated the relationship of the effect of operating conditions for the stability at low speed and load.

Reverse Brayton 사이클과 Claude 사이클 기반 LNG 재액화 공정의 동특성 운전성능 비교 (Comparison of Dynamic Operation Performance of LNG Reliquefaction Processes based on Reverse Brayton Cycle and Claude Cycle)

  • A dynamic model to simulate LNG reliquefaction process has been developed. The model was applied to two candidate cycles for LNG reliquefaction process, which are Reverse Brayton and Claude cycles. The simulation was intended to simulate the pilot plant under construction for operation of the two cycles and evaluate their feasibility. According to the simulation results, both satisfy control requirements for safe operation of brazed aluminum plate-fin type heat exchangers. In view of energy consumption, the Reverse Brayton cycle is more efficient than the Claude cycle. The latter has an expansion valve in addition to the common facilities sharing with the Reverse Brayton cycle. The expansion valve is a main cause to the efficiency loss. It generates a significant amount of entropy associated with its throttling and increases circulation flow rates of the refrigerant and power consumption caused by its leaking resulting in lowered pressure ratio. It is concluded that the Reverse Brayton cycle is more efficient and simpler in control and construction than the Claude cycle.
