사이클론의 작동온도가 압력손실에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effects of Operating Temperatures of Cyclone on Pressure Drop)

  • Lapple 방식의 사이클론 내부유동 특성과 작동온도와의 연관성이 수치해석적으로 관찰되었다. 수치계산의 결과는 과거 실험적/수치해석적 연구결과와 좋은 일치를 보였다. 사이클론 작동온도의 상승으로 벽면전단응력과 접선방향속도가 감소되어 압력손실이 저감되는 것이 관찰되었으며, 아울러 다양한 작동온도 조건에서 수치해석의 결과와 이론적 예측모델들의 압력손실 결과가 비교 분석되었다.

  • In this thesis, output voltage, current and power of solar module were classified by irradiation from data of overall operating characteristics collected for one year in order to manage efficient photovoltaic generation system and deliver maximum power. In addition, from these data, correlations between irradiation of photovoltaic cell and amount of power given by photovoltaic cell was quantitatively examined to deduce optimization of the design and construction of photovoltaic generation system. As I-V characteristics according to a temperature range of 10~50[$^{\circ}C$], the area of I-V characteristics were increased with an increase in temperature. Since this area corresponds to the power, output power is thought to have increased with temperature. As output power characteristics according to a temperature range of 10~50[$^{\circ}C$], output power was increased with an increase in temperature. Since output power increases with temperature increase, the result corresponds well to the related equation on temperature and output power. As I-V characteristics according to a irradiation range of 100~900 [$W/m^2$], voltage and current were increased with an increase in irradiation. The result is thought of as an increase in output power with increasing irradiation. As output power characteristics according to a irradiation range of 100~900 [$W/m^2$], output power was increased with increasing irradiation. This result corresponds well to the related equation on irradiation and output power.

  • Effects of operating variables on temperature profile and performance of 3 MWth chemical looping combustion system were estimated by mass and energy balance analysis based on configuration and dimension of the system determined by design tool. Air reactor gas velocity, fuel reactor gas velocity, solid circulation rate, and solid input percentage to fluidized bed heat exchanger were considered as representative operating variables. Overall heat output and oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas from the air reactor increased but temperature difference decreased as air reactor gas velocity increased. Overall heat output, required solid circulation rate, and temperature difference increased as fuel reactor gas velocity increased. However, overall heat output and temperature difference decreased as solid circulation rate increased. Temperature difference decreased as solid circulation rate through the fluidized bed heat exchanger increased. Effect of each variables on temperature profile and performance can be determined and these results will be helpful to determine operating range of each variable.

  • 적외선 영상 장비에 사용되는 광학계는 온도에 따른 굴절률의 변화가 심해 운용 온도 범위가 넓은 군용 적외선 영상장비에는 자동초점조절 기능이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 3중 배율의 적외선 영상 장비를 설계하고 해당 장비의 온도에 따른 굴절률 변화를 보상하기 위하여 온도 챔버에 영상 장비와 시준기를 설치하여 온도에 따른 렌즈 초점 이동량 변화를 측정하였다. 측정된 이동량을 활용하여 자동초점조절 기능을 구현하였으며 두 번의 온도 시험을 통해 -35~71℃의 넓은 운용 온도범위에서 상온의 MTF 성능과 동등한 수준의 분해능 성능의 영상을 확인하였다.

  • This paper reports design and fabrication of CMOS temperature sensor circuit using MOSIS 0.25um CMOS technology. The proposed circuit has a temperature coefficient of $13mV/^{\circ}C$ for a wide operating temperature range with a good linearity. This circuit may be applicable to the design of one-chip IC where quartz crystal resonator is directly mounted on CMOS oscillator chips.

게인 스케줄링을 이용한 광대역 온도제어기의 설계 (Design of Temperature based Gain Scheduled Controller for Wide Temperature Variation)

  • This paper focused on the design of an efficient temperature controller for a plant with a wide range of operating temperatures. The greater the temperature difference a plant has, the larger the nonlinearity it is exposed to in terms of heat transfer. For this reason, we divided the temperature range into five sections, and each was modeled using ARMAX(auto regressive moving average exogenous). The movement of the dominant poles of the sliced system was analyzed and, based on the variation in the system parameters with temperature, optimal control parameters were obtained through simulation and experiments. From the configurations for each section of the temperature range, a temperature-based gain-scheduled controller (TBGSC) was designed for parameter variation of the plant. Experiments showed that the TBGSC resulted in improved performance compared with an existing proportional integral derivative (PID) controller.

  • Much energy is used in occupying stage of the Building Life Cycle. Electric charge is one of the various factors that influence on energy use of residents. This study focused on electric charge and searched that whether electric charge affects residents' behavior of operating air conditioner and their controlled indoor climate. We surveyed three groups for field study ; A group is residents who live in a studio apartment, B group is residents who live in a university dormitory and C group is residents who live in a apartment with their family. The A and C groups are charged for electric as energy consumption they used. And the B group is students who live in a university dormitory and they are not charged for their energy consumption. We measured the time to use the air conditioner for cooling, on/off temperature of air conditioner, and room air temperature for these three groups. The result shows that consideration for electric charge affects to the residents' behavior of operating air conditioner and their acceptable thermal range.

하천수 열원 이용 2단압축 열펌프의 최적성능 및 효용 운전범위에 관한 시뮬레이션 연구 (Simulation on the Optimal Performance and Effective Operating Range of a 2-Stage Compression Heat Pump Using River Water)

  • The objectives of this study are to predict actual system performance and effective operating range of the 2-stage compression heat pump system using river water. An electronic expansion valve was applied to the simulation to analyze the effects of operating conditions on the system performance. The developed program was verified by comparing the predictions with the measured data. The results from the present model showed a good agreement with the measured data. In addition, the heat pump simulation was conducted by increasing condenser reservoir inlet temperature to investigate the benefits of the 2-stage compression over the 1-stage compression in the heating mode. The performance of the 2-stage compression cycle was better than that of the 1-stage compression when the inlet temperature of the condenser reservoir was higher than $40^{\circ}C$.

  • In this study, we estimated the performance of PEMFC's unit cell as changing operating temperature in different inlet humidity condition at cathode side but anode dry, and tried to match experimental results with 1-dimensional simulation. We used $Nafion^{\circledR}112$ membrane and a self-manufactured PEMFC with active area of $25cm^{2}$ was used in this study. The range of operating temperature was $40{\sim}70^{\circ}C$ and oxygen through bubbled humidity chamber was supplied $0{\sim}80$% humidity condition as changing water temperature in humidity chamber. For figuring out governing equations, represent water contents in electrolyte membrane, the linear forward difference method was applied about time progress and quadratic central difference method was used about space progress. It was assumed that pressure terms were linearly changed due to thin electrolyte membrane. In low operating temperature condition, $40{\sim}60^{\circ}C$, increasing temperature rarely effected cell performance but we can see performance drop at $70^{\circ}C$. By modifying Henrry's constant and/or diffusion coefficient, the modified one-dimensional model was accomplished for calculation.

  • The experimental study for an operational characteristics and performance of the sodium heat pipe were carried out. For an experiment. the heat pipe which is 1000mm length and 25.4mm diameter of stainless steel container with 50 mesh of screen wick using sodium as a working fluid is manufactured and tested as functions of heat flow rate, inclined angle and operating temperature. The test results are as follows. During the start-up. frontal start up was observed because of the vapor density increasing as increased the hot zone. Also, the heat pipe showed uniform temperature over than $420^{\circ}C$ of the operating temperature. The average heat transfer coefficient increased as the heat flux and the vapor temperature increase, and the range of the total thermal resistance was 0.075-0.04 $^{\circ}C/W$ at the 12-53.55 $kW/m^2$ of heat flux and $500-750^{\circ}C$of operating temperature. The maximum heat flow rate was 750W at the 10 degree of top heating mode.
