Physical therapists are exposured to radio-and microwave-frequency electromagnetic radiation by operating electrotherapy units. So there is few protection system in physical therapy room. Clinical pathology room and so on where various kins of electromagnetic instruments is used in hospital while protection failities like protection wall or protection glass is being used only in radiological room to reduce the damage of radiation. Acoording to Larsen's survey on female physical therapist in denmark. it was said that the percentage of congenital malfornation was $3.6\%$ and cadiac malformation made up $0.7\%$. It is likely that effect of electromagnetic fields on the result cannot be ruled out. Rita ouellet-Hellstron and Walter F. Steward insisted that the danger of abortion increase in the case of pregnant femeal physical therapist exposured to microwave diathermy. The intention of our study is arousing the necessity of microwave protection in P.T room and finding the proper method for physical therapist safe. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Each electrotherapy units are occurrenced the electromagnetic fields, and specially amply occurrenced in H.P,I.C.T 2 unit operating, M.W.D unit head on parallel, S.W.D unit head on parallel. all electrotherapy units are operating. 2. There were electric fields mount are consideration to species of electrotherapy units(p<.05). 3. There were magnetic fields mount are consideration to species of electrotherapy units(p<.05). 4. There were electric fields mount are consideration to distance of electrotherapy units(p<.05). 7. There were magnetic fields mount are consideration nut to distance of electrotherapy units(p>.05). 8. Before and after protection on magnetic fields mount are consideration to all distance(0m, 0.3m, 1m, 3m, 5m)(p<.05) 9. Before and after protection on electric fields mount are consideration to 0m, 1m, 3m distance(p<.05), and consideration not to 0.3m, 5m distance(p>.05) 10. After protection fellow the each electrotherapy units. distance, intencity to electromagnetic fields are reduced(p<.05).
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the effects of verbal violence experience, social support, and coping patterns on job stress among operating room(OR) nurses. Methods: The participants were 214 operating room nurses in general hospitals. Data were collected from April 1st to May 1st in 2013 and were analyzed using a multiple regression. Results: The most influencing factor on job stress for OR nurses was verbal violence experience from doctor(${\beta}=.35$), and verbal violence experience from nurse (${\beta}=.27$) followed. Social support from co-workers was a significant factor in decreasing job stress (${\beta}=-.22$). Those three factors explained 43.0% (F=54.76, p<.001) of OR nurses' job stress. Conclusion: The findings of this study revealed that doctors' and nurses' verbal violence increased job stress of OR nurses and social support from co-workers was found decreasing OR nurses' job stress. The results of the study provides an necessity for developing an effective program for minimizing job stress of OR nurses caused by work place verbal violence.
Purpose: This study was conducted to develop a timeout protocol as the process of patients verification in the operating room, and to evaluate its effects. Methods: The timeout protocol was developed based on the experience of practices and the universal protocol of JCAHO 2004. The subjects of this study were 192 surgical members working in the operating room at an university hospital in Daegu, Korea. Results: The timeout protocol was developed in six steps; participants verification, encouragement of compliance, verification of right 3 PSP, agreement of surgical team members, verification of the parties to a patient, patient agreement. The data which have been resulted from the experimental group show significantly higher than those of control group as follows; cognition(t = -6.580, p = .000), contents of performance; progress of anesthesiologist as leader(${\chi}^2$ = 29.029, p = .000), verification of right patient, right site and right procedure(${\chi}^2$ = 40.663, p = .000), participation of surgical team(${\chi}^2$ = 68.412, p = .000), and the number of cases of performance(${\chi}^2$ = 242.900, p = .000). Conclusion: It suggests that medical accidents caused by failures in a preoperative verification process can be prevented if a timeout is conducted active involvement and effective communication among surgical team members for a final verification of the correct patient, procedure, and site.
Purpose: The purpose was to compare operating room (OR) nurses and general ward nurses on their communication competence and interpersonal relationship ability within the medical team. Methods: Participants were 276 nurses (OR 122, ward 154) working in one of 4 university hospitals located in I and K areas. Data were collected using a questionnaire and data collection was done in June, 2013. Comparisons between OR nurses and general ward nurses on communication competence and interpersonal relationship ability were analyzed using ANCOVA. Results: There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in communication competence (F=11.96, p=.001) with average score for OR nurses at 3.37 points and ward nurses at 3.53 points. There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in interpersonal relationship ability (F=15.51, p<.001) with the average score for OR nurses at 3.30 points and ward nurses at 3.50 points. Conclusion: The results indicate a need to develop a variety of programs to promote communication competence in OR nurses and to enhance the openness of interpersonal relationship ability in human resource management.
Patient safety has become a growing concern in health care. The U.S. Institute of Medicine (IOM) report "To Err Is Human: Building a Safer Health System" in 1999 included estimations that medical error is the eighth leading cause of death in the United States and results in up to 100,000 deaths annually. However, many adverse events and errors occur in surgical practice. Within all kinds of surgical adverse events, wrong-side/wrong-site, wrong-procedure, and wrong-patient adverse events are the most devastating, unacceptable, and often result in litigation. Much literature claims that systems must be put in place to render it essentially impossible or at least extremely difficult for human error to cause harm to patients. Hence, this research aims to develop a prototype system based on active RFID that detects and prevents errors in the OR. To fully comprehend the operating room (OR) process, multiple rounds of on site discussions were conducted. IDEF0 models were subsequently constructed for identifying the opportunity of improvement and performing before-after analysis. Based on the analysis, the architecture of the proposed RFID-based OR system was developed. An on-site survey conducted subsequently for better understanding the hardware requirement will then be illustrated. Finally, an RFID-enhanced system based on both the proposed architecture and test results was developed for gaining better control and improving the safety level of the surgical operations.
This paper considers the design technique of the real-time control algorithm to implement the electronic interlocking system which is the most important station control system in railway signal field. The proposed technique consists of the structure design and the detail design which are based on the ROOM(Real-Time Object-Oriented Modeling). The structure design is designed with a modeling using the heuristic search technique which, at first, catch and make out the specific requested condition, and then, is designed on the requested condition. The detail design can be implemented if it may get the satisfying values through the repetitive modeling after comparing and examining the data obtained from the structure design in order for the more reliable and accurate system to be implemented. The technique proposed in this paper is implemented with C++ language which is easy to be transferred and compatible with the existing interfaces, and also the operating system is designed and simulated on the VRTX which is a real-time operating system. This proposed technique is applied to the typical station model in order to prove the validity as verifying the performance of the modeled station.

The purpose of this paper is to develop simulations that can be used for virtual education in dentistry. The virtual education to be developed will be developed with clinical training and actual case data of tooth extraction. This development goal is to allow dental students to learn the necessary surgical techniques at the point of their choice, not going into the operating room, away from time, space, and physical limits. I want to develop content using VR. Oculus Rift HMD, Optical Based Outside-in Tracking System, Oculus Touch Motion Controller, and Headset as Input / Output Device. In this configuration, the optimization method is applied convergent, and when the operation of the VR contents is performed, the content data is extracted from the interaction analysis formed in the VR engine, and the data is processed by the content algorithm. It also computes events and dental operations generated within the 3D engine programming and generates corresponding events through data processing according to the input signal. The visualization information is output to the HMD using the rendering information. In addition, the operating room environment was constructed by studying lighting and material for actual operating room environment. We applied the ratio of actual space to virtual space and the ratio between character and actual person to create a spatial composition at a similar rate to actual space.

We investigated the fabrication and characteristics of the nitride-based spin-polarized LEDs with room-temperature ferromagnetic (Ga,Mn)N layer as a spin injection source. The (Ga,Mn)N thin films having room-temperature ferromagnetic ordering were found to exhibit the negative MR and anomalous Hall resistance up to room temperature, revealing the existence of spin-polarized electrons in (Ga,Mn)N films at room temperature. The electrical characteristics in the spin LEDs did not degraded in spite of the insertion of the (Ga,Mn)N layer into the LED structure. In EL spectra of the spin LEDs, it is confirmed that the devices produce intense EL emission at 7 K as well as room temperature. These results are expected to open up new opportunities to realize room-temperature operating semiconductor spintronic devices.
