직렬형 전압보상기의 단상 전력회로 해석 (Single Phase Power Circuit Analysis of a Series Voltage Compensator)

  • Voltage sag and swell are the most severe factors affecting power quality in distribution systems. This paper discusses an approach to ensure a high quality power supply to critical loads appling voltage-sag compensator. The proposed system consists of a PWM voltage source inverter, connected in series with the line through a single-phase transformer. The operation Principle and Power circuit configuration of the proposed voltage sag compensator are introduced. And then the transfer function of compensator is derived from simplified single phase power circuit, and simulated so that the benefits of this proposed compensator is confirmed through the open loop response.

  • 본논문은 "s"를 변환함수로 하는 GIC회로가 자이레이터와 마찬가지로 인덕터를 RC능동회로로서 실헐할 수 있고, 또 임의의 안정한 전달함수가 GIC를 포함한 2단자대회로의 open-circuit voltage ratio로서 실현될 수 있음을 밝힌 것이다. 트랜지스터를 사용하여 GIC회로를 구성함에 있어시 트랜지스터의 nullator-norator model이 적어도 10kHz 이하의 주파수 범위에서 훌륭하게 적용될 수 있음이 밝혀졌다. GIC를 사용한 회로합성법의 특징은 다음괴 같다. 첫째로, 임의의 안정한 전달함수는 대단히 단순한 회로구성을 되풀이함으로서 체계계적으로 또 기계적으로 실현될 수 있다. 둘째로, 전체 회로에 있어서 GIC를 제외한 모든 회로요소는 저항뿐이다. 셋째로 n차의 전달함수를 실현하는데 있어서 필요한 콘덴서의 수효는 n이며, 이것은 가능한 가장 적은 수효라고 믿어진다.

A Simplified Li-ion Battery SOC Estimating Method

  • The ampere-hour integral method and the open circuit voltage method are integrated via the extended Kalman filter method so as to overcome insufficiencies of the ampere-hour integral method and the open circuit voltage method for estimating battery SOC. The process noise covariance and the measurement noise covariance of the extended Kalman filter method are simplified based on the Thevenin equivalent circuit model, with a proposed simplified SOC estimating method. Verification of DST experiments indicated that the battery SOC estimating method is simple and feasible, and the estimated SOC error is no larger than 2%.

ITO/p-InP 태양전지 제작 (The fabrication of ITO/p-InP solar cells)

  • ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) film with thickness of 1500.angs. was prepared by an e-beam evaporator onto a glass and a p-type InP wafer (100) LEC grown Zn-doped p=2.3*10$\^$16/cm$\^$-3/), in which the components of ITO used for evaporation source were hot pressed pellets 1 mole% ln$\_$2/O$\_$3/+9 mole% SnO$\_$2/, and evaporated in O$\_$2/ ambient. The optimum conditions to preparation of ITO thin film were the substrate temperature of 350.deg. C, the injected oxygen pressure of 2*10$\^$-4/ torr, and the evaporation speed of 0.2-0.3.angs./sec, respectively. In these optimum conditions, the resistivity and the carrier concentration were 5.3*10$\^$-3/ .ohm.-cm, 6.5*10$\^$20/cm$\^$-3/, and the transmittance was over 80%. From the results of J-V measurements in ITO/p-InP structure solar cells, the higher pressure of injected oxygen, the more open circuit voltage. The efficiency of ITO/p-InP solar cell without the grid line contact, prepared by the optimum evaporation conditions, was 7.19%. By using the grid line contact, the efficiency, the open circuit voltage, the short circuit current density, the fill factor, the series resistance, and the shunt resistance were 8.5%, 0.47V, 29.48 mAcm$\^$-2/ , 61.35%, 3.ohm., and 26.6k.ohm., respectively.

  • 5쌍의 Bi2Te3계 p-n 가압소결체 열전레그들로 구성되어 있으며 상하부 기판이 없고 내부는 polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)로 충진되어 있는 신축열전모듈을 형성하고, 이의 신축특성과 발전특성을 분석하였다. 신축열전모듈에 변형률 0~0.1 범위의 신축변형 싸이클을 10회 인가하여도 모듈의 integrity가 잘 유지되었으며, 인장변형률이 0.2로 증가시 Cu 전극과 열전레그 사이의 접합부 파단에 의해 모듈이 open 되었다. 신축열전모듈은 열전레그 양단간의 온도차가 2.2 K일 때 4.6 mV의 open circuit 전압을 나타내었으며, 변형률 0~0.1 범위의 인장변형에 의한 open circuit 전압의 변화는 5% 미만이었다. 신축열전모듈은 0.1의 변형률로 인장된 상태에서 레그 양단간 온도차 2.2 K에 의해 18.5 ㎼의 최대발전출력을 나타내었다.

  • Studies and measurements of open circuit voltage in a metal/insulator/metal structure where metal are electrodes, when the insulator molecules have dipole moments all oriented parallel to each other have been reported here. The measured voltage has been shown to be directed related to the dipole moment of the molecules in the films. The insulator ultra thin films was deposited on them by the Langmuir-Blodgett technique to obtain the structure referred to as z type and Hetero structure of LB films.

  • PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) is considered as an attractive option to produce electric power in manyapplications. A fundamental step of theoretical fuel cell open circuit potential is examined and compared with the measured data from 1.2KW PEMFC module. The hydrogen pressure and stack temperature are also measured during the operation of PEMFC module. It is found that the stack voltage and current data agree in general with the results calculated by chemical potential approach though they still have a discrepancy. It is analysed that the discrepancy is due to activation polarization, concentration overvoltage and ohmic overvoltage.

  • As the installation of photovoltaic systems increases, fire accidents of PV system grow every year. Most of PV system fires have been reported to be caused by electrical components. The majority of fire accidents occurred in combiner box, which is presumed to be short-circuit accidents due to dustproof and waterproof failures or heat deterioration of blocking diode. For this reason, the blocking diode installation became optional by revised PV combiner regulation. In this paper, according to the revised regulation, reverse current that generated by voltage mismatch was measured and analyzed in PV array without a blocking diode. The factors that cause voltage mismatch in array are assumed to be shaded PV module and short circuit failure of bypass diode. As the result of experiment, there is no reverse current to flow under shading condition in module, but reverse current flows on the failure of bypass diode in module. According to the module's I-V characteristic curve analysis, open voltage was slightly reduced due to operation of bypass diode in shading. However, it showed that open circuit voltage has decreased significantly in the failure of bypass diode. This indicates that the difference in open voltage reduction of voltage mismatch factor causes reverse current to flow.

  • In this paper, we study The Effects of PV Cell's Electrical Characteristics for PV Module Application. Photovoltaic module consists of serially connected solar cell which has low open circuit voltage and high short circuit current characteristics. The whole current flow of PV module is restricted by lowest current of one solar cell. For the experiment, we make PV module composing the solar cells that have short circuit current difference of 0%, 1%, 3% and Random. The PV module exposed about 35days, its the maximum power drop ratio was 4.282% minimum and 6.657% maximum. And PV module of low current characteristics has electrical stress from other modules. The solar cell temperature of PV module was higher compared to PV cell. To prevent early degradation, it is need to have attention to PV cell selection.

  • 본 논문에서는 진동 에너지 수확을 위한 MPPT 제어기능을 갖는 인터페이스 회로를 설계하였다. 설계된 회로는 수확된 교류 형태의 에너지를 시스템 구동에 필요한 직류 형태의 에너지로 정류하고, MPPT Controller를 통해 Open Circuit Voltage(Voc)를 주기적으로 샘플/홀드한 뒤, 입력전압을 최대 가용 전력점의 1/2되는 전압으로 유지시키면서, 수확된 전력을 부하에 전달하는 동작을 한다. 모든 회로들은 0.35-um CMOS 기술을 기반으로 설계되었으며, 모의실험을 통하여 동작을 검증하였다. 모의실험 결과 설계된 회로는 3V 입력전압에서 98nA의 전류를 소모하며, 최대 전력효율은 99.21%이다. 설계된 회로의 칩 면적은 $1.281mm{\times}1.236mm$ 이다.
