그래프 컬러링과 OpenMP를 이용한 병렬 메쉬 스무딩 알고리즘의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of a Parallel Mesh Smoothing Algorithm using Graph Coloring and OpenMP)

  • 본 논문에서는 그래프 컬러링과 OpenMP를 사용한 병렬 메쉬 스무딩 알고리즘을 제안하고 공유메모리 기반의 슈퍼컴퓨터를 이용하여 제안하는 병렬 메쉬 스무딩 알고리즘의 성능 분석을 수행하였다. 제안하는 병렬 메쉬 스무딩 알고리즘은 그래프 컬러링 방법을 통해 전체 메쉬를 여러 개의 독립적인 집합 (색깔)으로 나눈 후 각각의 독립적인 집합에 대하여 OpenMP 라이브러리를 사용하여 순차적으로 병렬 메쉬 스무딩을 수행하는 방법이다. 실험을 통하여 여러 가지 그래프 컬러링 방법과 색깔 순서 재배열 방법이 병렬 메쉬 스무딩의 효율성에 미치는 영향에 대해서 알아보았다. 또한, OpenMP의 루프 스케줄링 방법이 병렬 메쉬 스무딩의 효율성에 끼치는 영향에 대해서 알아보았다.

  • This paper presents a design and analysis of electromechanical sigma-delta modulator for MEMS gyroscope, which enables us to control the proof mass and to obtain an exact digital output without additional A/D conversion. The system structure and the circuit realization of the sigma-delta modulation are simpler than those of the analog sensing and feedback circuit. Based on the electrical sigma-delta modulator theory, a compensator is designed to improve the closed loop resolution of the sensor. With the designed compensator, we could obtain enhanced closed-loop performances of the gyroscope such as larger bandwidth, lower noise, and digital output comparing with the results of analog open-loop system.

3상 부스트 컨버터의 제어기 최적 이득 설계 기법 (Optimal Gain Design Method of the 3 Phase Boost Converter)

  • The optimal gain design method of a three-phase boost converter is proposed in this study. The control system has a two-loop configuration, in which each controller is coupled closely; thus, the optimal design is difficult to achieve using conventional gain-tuning method. The proposed method is adopted to the MATLAB SISO TOOL software and is based on the controller requirements, which are phase margin and cut-off frequency of the open-loop system. The optimal proportional -integral gains can be designed easily using the proposed interactive method of the SISO TOOL. The performance of the proposed system is verified through simulation and experiments.

  • Lately, the demand for electrical power has been significantly increased. As a result a power transmission system has been improved. On the other hand fault current increased more than past. Superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) is one of the solutions to limit fault current. However, SFCL's research has not advanced in a power transmission system fully. Therefore, we studied effect of SFCL in a power transmission system. The power distribution system is open-loop circuit, but a power transmission system is closed-loop system. Consequently, Fault current in a power transmission system is larger than fault current in a power distribution system. we exerimented a simple closed-loop power transmission system circuit.

  • This paper addresses the residual vibration problem of robots due to joint flexibility excited by fast accelerations, which has not been easily solved with conventional closed loop controllers. In this paper, an open loop input shaping technique, proposed by singer, has been applied to a 3 DOF robot with joint flexibility. In conjunction to the technique, a closed loop controller based on time-delay controller was also used. The results of simulations and experiments showed that the technique is quite effective for suppressing the residual vibration.

  • In order to analyze lateral control in the backward maneuver of a tractor -trailer combination , a kinematic vehicle model and a human operator model with time delay were utilized for the operator/vehicle system. The analysis was carried out using the frequency domain approach. The open-loop stability of the vehicle motion was analyzed through the transfer functions. The sensitivity of the stability of the vehicle motion. to a change in the steering angle, was also analyzed. A mathematical model of the closed -loop operator/vehicle system was then formulated. The closed -loop stability of the operator /vehicle system was then analyzed. The effect of the delay time on the system was also analyzed through computer simulation.

  • In this paper, QFT robust control strategy is proposed to improve stability of power systems in the presence of parametric uncertainty. The basic idea in QFT is to convert design specifications of a closed loop system and plant uncertainties into robust stability and performance bounds on the open loop transmission of the nominal system and then to design a controller by using the gain-phase loop sharing technique. The robustness of the QFT controller has been investigated on a single machine infinite bus model by nonlinear simulations.

  • Distribution networks are operated in radial fashion during the normal state. Loop configuration is also required temporally in case of live load transfer among the adjacent feeders. Voltage angles of each substation buses are very important data in order to calculate power flow of the loop structured distribution feeders. This paper proposes substation bus voltage angle calculation method using voltage angle difference measured at the normally open tie switches. Simulation case studies using Matlab simulink have been performed to establish feasibility of proposed method.

  • In this paper, presented is a feedback control loop, for an in-plane gimbaled micro gyroscope based on methodology and state weighted model reduction technique. The micro gyroscope is the basic inertial sensors. To improve the performances such as stability, wide dynamic range, bandwidth and especially robustness, it is necessary to design a feedback control loop, which must be robust, because the manufacturing process errors can be large.   • In this paper, the launch trajectory of the Japan scientific satellite M-3H-3 from launch to orbit injection is investigated. For the terminal conditions at a guidance target point, a guidance and control system is used. An open-loop and a closed-loop guidance schemes are used simultaneously. For the closed-loop guidance scheme, the velocity polynomial algorithm represented by the velocity difference between the target point and present velocity is used. A PD control system is used for activating gimbal type engines. The simulation result shows that all the terminal position and velocity conditions are satisfied and the trajectory for the M-3H-3 scientific satellite is reasonable.
