Purpose - This study aims to examine how the time variations of customer satisfaction influence retail firms' performance. Research design, data, and methodology - The study employs yearly time series customer satisfaction data of Korean retail secured from the National Customer Satisfaction Index(NCSI) for the 2011~2016 period. Our data includes a total of 90 observations of 15 retail firms in 5 different sector(department store, filling station, large discount store, open market, TV home shopping). We obtained the firm performance data from the KIS Value database. The variables for financial performance include sales and net profit. Results - The results show that customer satisfaction has dynamic effects on retail firms' performance. More specifically, the time variation of customer satisfaction has the moderating effect on the linkage between customer satisfaction and financial performance as well as direct effects on the firms' financial performance. Conclusions - Customer satisfaction has the current effect lasting over time on firm performance and changes of customer satisfaction in positive direction also impact on firm performance. Retail firms need to not only focus on improving customer satisfaction in the current term, but make efforts to continuously enhance customer satisfaction in the long term.

In this study, we discuss the possibility of applying the group technology to the service area. We analyze student service system to improve college student service and constructed new service cells using the group technology. To do so, we build service cells for the information technology support and related business in college student service with the standard of service cell formation process. This naturally leads us to the way to improve or to solve those problems such as waiting time and complexity of the related department to provide service to the student. The application of the group technology means the increase of the investment in the view point of the owner. However, to stand against the infinite competition and the open of the education market, university have to prepare. This preparation can be helped by applying the group technology for improving the college student service quality.

Recently, apartments have had several fundamental problems in planning uniformity caused by fixed space programs and difficulties of maintenance. So decision-makings become more important in design process which were essential to performance realization of long-life housing. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the plans of the Bogeumjari Nae-gok based on the applied designs, and suggests improvements for advanced design process of the long-life housing in the domestic market. This research procedure are as follows: (1) Analyze design guide, district land development plan and local code which have influence on design limitation. (2) Compare partial plans of joined designs and analyze each design characters (3) Implement case studies of design process due to design timetable and design elements of Nae-gok. In result, this study suggests significant fundamental materials for advanced decision-making in design process of long-life housing: details credibility and noise control, etc. This research could be useful in making integrated design process applied for long-life housing.

Smart phone usage has increased exponentially and open source based Android OS occupy significant market share. However, various malicious applications that use the characteristic of Android threaten users. In this paper, we construct an efficient malicious application detector by using the principle component analysis and the incremental k nearest neighbor algorithm, which consider an required permission, of Android applications. The cross validation is exploited in order to find a critical parameter of the algorithm. For the performance evaluation of our approach, we simulate a real data set of Contagio Mobile.

This study is based on the need to reform mixed use plan of school facilities considering the characteristics of depressed downtown area. It started with the object to make a plan by deducting function of place required and corresponded to the characteristics of depressed downtown area in Pohang city. As the result of researching present status and the characteristics of six elementary schools in Pohang which the number of student has decreased, it is found that they are required to have change in the region of depressed downtown area which have fallen behind and obsolete school facilities which idle classrooms have increased and to have reformations of a city are characterized by 5 types as poor life environment, lack of cultural facilities as community institution, poor open-space and ecological environment, non-activation of conventional market and contraction of commerce industry by outflow of industry, transfer of administration operation function and etc. and the region of school under researching shows these characteristics. I planed the mixed use program with factors of local community facility, status of school facility use and depressed area's characteristics. Finally, I propose the mixed use plan of school facilities as the strong point of sustainable development which influences on and be influenced by regional characteristics and structure of city.

Purpose - The main target to do this analysis is to find out the competitiveness between 2 countries (China and USA) in the aircraft business industry. The main target about mentioned research is to find out how a certain country takes more advantage against the other partner country in the country's trade structure. Research design, data, and methodology - Mentioned research period ranges from 1995 to 2016. Research basic data are coming from UN COMTRADE database which is top of top in the world statistical data and Research methods are used 3 types of international trade related theory for credible data outcomes. Results - Even though general data about aircraft industry are open to world society, detailed classified data are not easy to get them. Generally, Both China & USA are not easy to obtain data especially, in the overseas production field as a business secret which is one of research limitation in every research scopes. Conclusions - Even though Chinese aircraft industry looks like strong and more advantage against those of other countries based on competitive labor work wages and low price of raw material and resources, Actually, USA has overwhelmingly dominant advantage against that of China in the field of aircraft industry because USA has abundant capitals and up-to-date advanced high-technology as top of world economic communities. Additionally, even if USA aircraft industries hold a dominant position so far, if USA proposes sound competition relationship with China about aircraft industry, both 2 countries' future will be bright as their cooperation will make synergy effects for mutual benefits under current circumstances in 2 countries.

This paper reveals the influence of urban and social contexts on the early building layout of Japan Women's College (JWC), one of the first women's colleges in Japan. According to the unpublished plans, the main building and other major structures, at the first stage, formed a three-sided quadrangle with site-wide organization, which was similar to contemporary National colleges. This impressive design, however, disappeared in the final plan. Although the school is the largest in student number and in campus ground size compared to other contemporary private colleges at its establishment, the subdivided land acquired in the private land market forced JWC to give up the organic composition of buildings. Under the framework of donation-based finance, it needed to start construction quickly for further support from the public, which prevented the school from acquiring enough time to adjust land ownership. These constitute the major differences with national schools. The founder's emphasis on the physical exercises, which reflected the public interest in physical strength of mothers in the time of wars, gave preference to securing sufficient open space over the order of buildings.

The purpose of this study is to consider the problem on pursuit of logistics strategy by our international shipping company in international shipping business under the said circumstance due to the open international shipping market and to suggest the logistics strategy for the consideration of the logistics competition under new international shipping circumstances. The results of empirical analysis are mentioned as follows; First, it shall be considered to maintain the size of company bigger than a certain capability so that it may obtain the superior competition of logistics. Second, as there are the plus correlations between the competition of logistics and the logistic support, it is necessary to pursuit the upgrade service with using EDI system and making up the complex shipping and integrated logistics system in general. Third, with the rationalization of finance policy and the profitable management of shipping company the ratio of net worth can be raised and it can be achieved to make the sound financial structure as reducing the excessive debt ratio. Fourth, it can be effort continuously to perform the investment for the infrastructure of logistics support & the institutional supplement so that it may achieve to increase the efficiency of logistic support at pier and to reduce the cost of logistic support.

This paper was studied in export policy Revitalization of SMEs mainly in various countries of Indochina, especially in Laos, which is emerging as a new market after China. Laos is a socialist country, but in 2014, led by the current active open-door policy, education, social, cultural and people-to-people exchanges are going briskly, light industry and the expansion of social infrastructure such as laying the foundation for economic development. This paper presents a plan to dominate the emerging frontier markets are public enterprises and government agencies that do not respond quickly. Already pioneered by building a network in local development staff for this purpose, such as volunteers, missionaries, professors and configure the network of exploitation and human development personnel look for Revitalization of SMEs in urban and regional growth.
