  • In this paper, we developed a Widows 98 version off-line programming system which can simulate a track vehicle model in 3D graphics space. The track vehicle was adopted as an objective model. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Widows 98's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows XP's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Parallel Algorithm for Matrix-Matrix Multiplication on the GPU (GPU 기반 행렬 곱셈 병렬처리 알고리즘)

  • Matrix multiplication is a fundamental mathematical operation that has numerous applications across most scientific fields. In this paper, we presents a parallel GPU computation algorithm for dense matrix-matrix multiplication using OpenGL compute shader, which can play a very important role as a fundamental building block for many high-performance computing applications. Experimental results on NVIDIA Quad 4000 show that the proposed algorithm runs about 208 times faster than previous CPU algorithm and achieves performance of 75 GFLOPS in single precision for dense matrices with matrix size 4,096. Such performance proves that our algorithm is practical for real applications.

  • Many users of 3D virtual city are Utilize a texture image for the cognition of real object. In this study, building's facet images were achieved by a digital camera and adjusted its distortion by use of the 2D projective transformation method. After then, Images are mapped to a 3D building model by means of the OpenGL. Application program is able to offer an automation solution to construction process of the 3D virtual city.

  • This paper presents implementation of a system for effective visualizing flight information of aircraft using Google Earth. This system in order to use a detailed satellite image which provide from Google Earth used COM API. This system appeared the various flight information of the aircraft in the instrument panel using OpenGL and the aircraft flight condition is visible in the Google Earth Map. This research result used to flight evaluation and improvement. In future will be able to apply to flight software development.

  • This paper presents a task teaching method for off-line programming of a multi-robot system. Teaching commands were developed in order to simplify a complex teaching process, to shorten the setup time for new working environment and to have flexibility for changes in working environment. Four teaching commands can be used to automatically generate trajectories of an end-effector of the robot in electronics assembly line. The robots used in the work cell are a four-axis SCARA robot and six-axis articulated robot. Each robot is controlled in a independent way while objects, working environment and robots are modeled in corresponding modules, respectively. The off- line programming system developed uses OpenGL for a smooth graphic effect in Window s where three dimensional CAD data can be leaded for graphical modeling.
