In this paper, a new class of open sets, namely ${\gamma}^*$-pre-open sets was introduced and its basic properties were studied. Moreover a new type of topology ${\tau}_{{\gamma}p^*}$ was generated using ${\gamma}^*$-pre-open sets and characterized the resultant topological space (X, ${\tau}_{{\gamma}p^*}$) as ${\gamma}^*$-pre-$T_{\frac{1}{2}}$ space.

This study is carried out to understand application type and change of learning space and to find out actual situation of management in open planned elementary schools. The twelve elementary schools were selected based on case studies and fundamental data of the agencies performing basic plan, the actual situation of management was studied by interviews of principals and teachers. By the results, open planned elementary schools have been notably reduced after the year of 2004 and corridor expending type was broadly chosen as a plane type for open space. It was also shown that learning space was transformed to the independent type integrating open space to the unit classroom in most part of twelve cases. In addition, whole sliding doors fixed in open classrooms by some Provincial Office of Education didn't need certain physical shut-offs, and it was considered as one of useful alternatives to manage open space.

Recently, several open source codes for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) have been emerged and are spreading fast. Our group has chosen OpenFOAM as a platform to develop our own in-house code. In this paper, we would like to share the information on the codes and what we have experienced so far. We introduce several features of OpenFOAM, which include the performance compared with commercial packages, estimation for current user population and our own prospect for future improvement in performance and growth in user population. In addition, we briefly introduce our experience gained in embedding the level set method into the OpenFOAM.

Growing concern and technical improvement in the housing industry has promoted continuous customization to be the most significant parameter for ecological and social sustainability of housing. The basic principle of Open Building is based on the concept of sustainability, but the theoretical relationship of the open housing system in terms of environmental architecture has not been examined profoundly yet. In order to generate an overall approach toward sustainable housing, a further alignment between Open Building and sustainability should be established. Therefore, this study aims at the establishment of the theoretical relationship between Open Housing system and environmental architecture, and the examination of Open Housing system in terms of sustainability for the suggestion of the future development in housing environment.

The Korean government has been trying to create new economic value-added and jobs by the openness and utilization of open government data. However, most of open government data has poor utilization rate. Although open government data standardization is a major cause of those inactivation, it is not sufficient to conduct empirical research on open government data itself. Based on this trend, this paper aims to find the priority area for opening data and suggests a realistic directions of standardization of open government data. Text mining and social network analysis approaches are used to analyze open government data and standardization. This research suggests the guides to open government data managers in practical view from selection of data to standardization direction. In addition, this research has academic implications to the knowledge management systems in terms of suggesting standardization direction by using various techniques.

Open housing is an emerging, new concept in housing development that combines demand-orientation with environment-friendliness. Its methodology, however, has not been analyzed in a systematic way. In this study, the features of planning method in open housing were analyzed to systematize types of the planning method. The existing planning methods of open housing was reviewed and they can be classified into three approaches such as pattern, module and organization planning. Given three approaches, the existing planning methods of open housing can be sub-classified as follows; free and patterned planning by patterns, modular and non-modular planning by modules, and hierarchical and non-hierarchial planning by organizations. The framework for the typological analysis was made based on the classification and a composite typological system was drawn from the analysis of the existing planning features. The suggested classification of features in open housing is expected to contribute to the clear definition of characteristics on open housing to provide a basis for the concrete realization method, to analyzing problems with the existing planning methods and to providing their solutions.

The difference between "open" mathematics education and education of "open mathematics" arises from the difference of tearcher's understanding on the meaning of "teaching and learning mathematics" in the paper. Discusses the agreements and the worries of the researchers, the teachers, the students in korea, about open educationism, firstly, Three practical cases in mathematics lesson in korea are reviewed and analyzed in the respect of learning principles, secondly. Thirdly, the paper examines how to be modified two main learning principles, individualised learning and self-regulation of learning by teachers in the process of instruction. Finally, open mathematics advocated by Fisher(1984) and closed mathematics are compared especially in the probability unit. It concludes that the open approaches in mathematics lessons in korea need to improve with respect to teacher's attitude for didactic contents or mathematical knowledge. It is argued that teacher's open or flexible understanding of mathematical knowledge is no less important than that of their pupils.ant than that of their pupils.

많은 지리자료에 대한 효율적이고 효과적인 검색 및 다양한 지리자료 데이터 포맷에 대한 데이터 변환에 드는 비용을 최소화하기 위해 지리자료의 공유, 즉 상호운용(Interoperability)에 대한 필요성이 제기되었으며 이를 위한 표준의 하나로 OpenGIS라는 표준이 만들어지고 있다. OpenGIS는 기존의 표준과는 다른 광범위하고 미래지향적인 특징으로 인해 실질적인 GIS 표준으로 자리잡아 가고 있는 실정이지만, 국내에서는 OpenGIS 구현명세에 대한 체계적인 연구 및 여러 GIS 서버를 대상으로 한 실제구현 사례가 거의 없는 실정이다. 이 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기반의 분산환경에 가장 근접해 있는 OpenGIS OLE/COM 구현명세에 대한 분석을 통해 Gothic, MGE, Oracle에 적용하기 위한 OGIS 데이터 제공자의 설계 및 이를 바탕으로 상호운용을 달성하기 위한 OpenGIS 미들웨어의 설계를 제시한다.

The method and process of research and development (R&D) is changing when we develop artificial intelligence (AI), and the way R&D results are dispersed is also changing. For the R&D process, using and participating in open-source ecosystems has become more important, so we need to be prepared for open source. For product and service development, a combination of AI algorithm, data, and computing power is needed. In this paper, we introduce ETRI AI Strategy #4, "Expanding AI Open Platform." It consists of two key tasks: one to build an AI open source platform (OSP) to create a cooperative AI R&D ecosystem, and another to systematize the "x+AI" open platform (XOP) to disperse AI technologies into the ecosystem.
