The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of the online lifelong education program which is a key words card production and demonstration on the job preparation skills for work for part-time developmental disabilities. The subjects of this study were three developmental disabilities workers working in a restaurant business on a part-time basis, and the experimental environment was composed of the home and subway stations where they reside. The study method used a single subject study, and the baseline, intervention, and maintenance were reflected as the design conditions of the experiment. As a result, the subjects of the study effectively acquired and maintained the job preparation skills for work work through the online lifelong education program for the production and demonstration of key words cards. Through the results of this study, it was possible to discuss and conclude that the significant functional relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variables is valid.

Recently, as interest in programming and artificial intelligence has increased, software education has been compulsory from elementary school. In order to achieve this goal of programming education, it is necessary to basically establish a lab environment suitable for students and teachers. However, there is a problem with performance problems caused by old computers in the lab environment of the school, and there is a problem that students must purchase and use the existing online platform while implementing an algorithm contest program in which students access and evaluate their problem-solving ability at the same time. Therefore, in this paper, to solve this problem, we propose a web-based online practice environment and algorithm contest scoring system using React and Spring boot. Through this, it is believed that even in a computer with low specifications, programming can be studied using only a web browser.

Recently, as the pandemic COVID-19 has been spread worldwide, international research cooperation has come to the fore to overcome the crisis and develop treatments. Currently, in Korea, with the support from the Ministry of Education and the Korea Research Foundation, the International Research Cooperation Information Center operates an online service system for international research cooperation as a venue for sharing results among international research cooperation researchers and invigorating such research. However, since Korea's performance in international research cooperation is still poor, actively pursuing measures to improve professionalism and diversity based on international cooperation is deemed necessary. Therefore, in this study, factors influencing the level of satisfaction with international research cooperation online service systems were identified, and measures to increase the satisfaction of international research cooperation online service were proposed based on the analysis results. Design of the system quality factors, accuracy and consistency of the information quality factors, and professionalism of the service quality factors were verified to have a significant effect on the satisfaction with international research cooperation online service systems. Accordingly, further strengthening the aspects of design, accuracy, consistency, and professionalism was proposed as a way to increase the satisfaction of international research cooperation online service systems.

This paper aimed to understand current trends in online lectures for Korean SAT based on students' academic performances through a qualitative interview approach. In results, the highest academic performance group showed a good deal of interest and usage in online lectures. This group participants preferred private online lectures to public ones. However, the lowest academic group liked to use public online lectures. The middle academic groups who lived in an expensive area spent a lot of money for tutoring or attending private institutes rather than online lectures. Suggestions are: self-regulated learning is needed, public onilne lectures should have improved contents, and lastly, these online lectures are required to be connected with regular school curriculum.

This study explored middle and high school students' learning experiences using e-textbooks in online learning courses. Data were collected from in-depth interviews. The interviewees for this study were 19 students who enrolled voluntarily in an online mathematics and science inquiry program, actively participated in the online learning. The students generally have high academic achievement and motivation for learning in science and mathematics. Data were analyzed based on a grounded theory approach. As a result, the characteristics of the online learning environment using e-textbooks were conceptualized via three different categories including temporal, spatial, and technical. Such characteristics of the learning environment were able to provoke self-directed learning, extended learning, interactive learning, in-depth learning, improved ICT literacy, and formation of positive emotions and learning habits. Most of the learners showed positive feedback towards the use of e-textbooks, while some mentioned the technical limitations compared to conventional paper-based learning. This study suggested that e-textbooks are likely to induce positive experiences for learners in the context of online learning, so it is necessary to design contents that utilize various functions and advantages of electronic teaching materials in order to use e-textbooks effectively.

Objectives: Tobacco marketing encourages smoking initiation of non-smokers, especially adolescents, and it hinders quit intention of those who smoke or who attempt to quit smoking. Article 13 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control(WHO FCTC) requests a comprehensive ban on tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship(TAPS). Ratified the Convention in 2005, Korea has partially implemented the provisions. However, online marketing regulations are still insufficient. Methods: Based on relevant national and international regulations, this research designed monitoring mechanism for online tobacco marketing and studied 1,404 websites to identify current situation of online sales and advertisement of tobacco in Korea. Results: This study found that online trade of tobacco products are overtly conducted, while tobacco advertising with flavoring and misleading descriptors are also prevalent. Also, online tobacco marketing facilitate adolescents' access to tobacco product and that advertising and promotion activities lead to tobacco purchase without difficulties. Conclusions: Fundamental solution to prevent online tobacco advertisement and promotion is banning online sales of tobacco and conducting a regular monitoring for compliance. Korean government should consider establishing an official surveillance system for online tobacco advertisement, followed by a comprehensive ban on TAPS to fulfill its obligation as a Party to the FCTC.

Purpose: To understand the students' level of recognition of online classes in the Department of Dental Technology and to provide the basic data for designing online classes based on the dental technology course. Methods: A survey was conducted among the students of the dental technology department. The collected data was analyzed with the SPSS ver. 25.0 program. To ensure a reliable verification, the α=0.05 significance level was used. The t-test and analysis of variance were also performed. Results: The students' level of recognition of online classes in the Department of Dental Technology is shown in the rate of recognition for video-based classes for both the theory and experiments. Students displayed high positivity with the video-based learning as it is repeated learning that is not affected by the limitations of time. In addition, video-based learning is highly beneficial in terms of convenience, satisfaction, and achievement for learning. Conclusion: Based on the results, video-based learning is a highly positive learning type for students. It was also recommended that the Department of Dental Technology should offer a post-COVID-19 online class to include the blended methods of a face-to-face class and video-based learning.

This study aims to provide basic data on establishing online learning by identifying the effects of self-efficacy as a medium on factors affecting self-control according to self-determination motivation through contactless online learning due to Covid-19. The research method used SPSS 25 and Sobel test to examine the causal relationship between the spokesmen and 196 middle and high school students in W-city, Gangwon-do. Self-determination motivation has had a significant effect on self-efficacy and self-control, and self-efficacy has been shown to have a significant effect on self-control. Also, Self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect on self-determination motivation affecting self-control. Based on this, fundamental and continuous development of online education programs to promote self-control of online learners is required, and efforts should be made to support learners' capabilities through psychological counseling.

This study aimed to ascertain whether electronic courses at the deanship of electronic learning and distance education at Umm Al-Qura University meet the quality standards developed by the Quality Matters (QM) organization. This endeavor adopted a mixed method of an explanatory sequential research design for an in-depth understanding of the topic under scrutiny. The sample of the study consisted of ten courses designed at the deanship and reviewed using an evaluation form. The results showed that the courses in focus did not meet the criteria of QM. Based on this finding, a semi-structured interview was designed to collect relevant data from the syllabus designers at the deanship. The interviews yielded information on the difficulties the course designers faced when designing QM-criteria-based courses. The results obtained from the interviews showed that the designers experienced administrative, technical, and faculty-member-related challenges that, when producing online courses, intercepted their way to achieving the QM standards. The study closed with some recommendations, the most important of which is a call for re-developing online courses in alignment with the well-recognized QM standards.

This study explore characteristics of teaching orientation and pck of science teachers in online-offline mixed learning environment. Data consisted of open-ended survey, semi-structured interview, class observation, field notes from 12 science teachers. We categorized teaching orientation considering both science education goals and science teaching·learning orientation. There were 8 different teaching orientations such as 'understanding science concepts-lecture centered' 'constructing science concepts-inquiry based' 'applying science concepts and inquiry-inquiry based' 'applying science concepts and inquiry-lectured centered' 'analyzing and judging science information-inquiry based' 'developing scientific attitude-inquiry based' 'developing scientific attitude-lecture centered' and 'developing perception of interrelationships among science, technology, and society-inquiry based'. Teachers with inquiry based teaching·learning orientation seemed to have knowledge of science curriculum specific to online learning environment for student inquiry. While teachers with 'understanding science concepts-lecture centered' teaching orientation appeared to have questioning strategy of checking student understanding and strategy of repeating a lecture, teachers with 'constructing science concepts-inquiry based' teaching orientation appeared to have knowledge of instructional strategies to perform online group activities targeting student construction of knowledge and to replace face-to-face group activities with virtual experiments and individual experiments. While teachers with 'understanding science concepts-lecture centered' teaching orientation did not show knowledge of student science learning, teachers with 'constructing science concepts-inquiry based' teaching orientation appeared to have knowledge of student difficulties in inquiry based learning.
