Purpose - Recently, internet access and social network utilization using smart phone are increasing. In such a smart environment, interactive activities such as information generation, information searching and information sending are increasing rapidly on-line environment. Therefore, consumers tend to purchase something according to eWOM and also meet the social consensus online environment. In connectivity society, consumers became accessible and engaged in the opinions of others easily. Many decisions that seem like personal decisions are actually social decisions on online connectivity. This paper seeks to explore factors that can help generate a social decision on purchasing of new products in an online environment. Research design, data, and methodology - The process of collecting a lot of wisdom and making an agreement online is called social decision. The purpose of this paper is to examine empirically the influence of factors such as online ties, online eWOM expectancy and online information behavior on online social decision. In addition, We studied online social decision by analyzing the moderating effect of new product innovation. To understand this structural relationship, research hypotheses and research models were set up and empirical analysis was conducted. In order to verify the hypothesis, 208 questionnaires were collected from the residents of Seoul city/Gyeonggi province. The answered questionnaire verifies reliability and validity using SPSS/AMOS and test hypotheses through path analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results - According to the research results, First, online ties don't have a positive impact on online social decision, Second, online eWOM expectancy have a positive impact on online social decision. Third, online information behaviors have a positive impact on online social decision. The degree of innovation of new products have a moderating effect between Independent variables of three factors and dependent variable of social decision. Conclusions - Social decisions have a positive impact on purchasing decisions about new product. There is a great significance in the fact that the online social influence and online social decision have been studied academically. It is meaningful that we have studied in depth the changing phenomenon of consumer purchase decision process in smart environment. The results of these studies provide academic and practical implications.
Big Data environment is established by accumulating vast amounts of data as users continuously share and provide personal information in online environment. Accordingly, the more data is accumulated in online environment, the more data is accessible easily by third parties without users' permissions compared to the past. By utilizing strategies based on data-driven, firms recently make it possible to predict customers' preferences and consuming propensity relatively exactly. This Big Data environment, on the other hand, establishes 'Dataveillance' which means anybody can watch or control users' behaviors by using data itself which is stored online. Main objective of this study is to identify the relationship between Dataveillance and users' online privacy protection behaviors. To achieve it, we first investigate perceived online service efficiency; loss of control on privacy; offline surveillance; necessity of regulation influences on users' perceived threats which is generated by Dataveillance.
This study identified online information characteristics and investigated the effects of information characteristics on word of mouth performance in online environment. And the comsumer knowledge was found to be a moderator of the relationship between information characteristics and WOM performance in online environment. The implication of this work to both researchers and practitioners were discussed.
The purpose of this study was to investigate secondary science teachers' PCK components and subcomponents that are specific to online and offline learning environment. Data collection consisted of survey, class observation, and individual interviews of twelve science teachers. This study used a theoretical framework of PCK for deductive data analysis and articulated codes and themes through the following inductive analysis. Data analysis revealed that each of PCK components showed different specificity to the online and offline learning environment. And subcomponents of each PCK component were different according to the specificity of the online and offline learning environment. Teaching orientation toward science had a specific orientation for the online learning environment, i.e., 'learning science concept' and 'lecture centered instruction.' Knowledge of the science curriculum had online-offline mixed learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'reorganization of curriculum' and online learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'development of learning goal' and 'science curricular materials.' Knowledge of science teaching strategies had online learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'topic-specific strategy', 'subject-specific strategy', and 'interaction strategy' and COVID-19 offline learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'topic-specific strategy' and 'interaction strategy'. Knowledge of student science understanding had online learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., 'student preconception', 'student learning difficulty', 'student motivation and interest', and 'student diversity' and COVID-19 offline learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., student learning difficulty'. Knowledge of science assessment had online-offline mixed learning environment specific knowledge and online learning environment specific knowledge, i.e., assessment contents and assessment methods for each.
The purpose of this study is to study the experiences of online service during the COVID-19 and to find out Korean Christians' perception. This study examines the effect of sense of community on the relationship between learner satisfaction and influencing factors related to the online learning environment. Influencing factors related to the online learning environment are derived from previous literature and classified into two groups : social dimension (leader's enthusiasm, offline activities) and system dimension (usefulness, ease of use, enjoyability). Learner satisfaction is defined as the learners' perceived learning gains from taking an online class. Study participants included 250 university students from two different institutions. The participants were divided into 43 groups and asked to complete an online TOEIC preparation module using a commercial cooperative learning system over 4 weeks. Data were collected at three points for each participant, at the beginning, 3 weeks after, and at the end of the online module. Two system factors related to the online learning environment (ease of use, usefulness) directly influenced learner satisfaction, while social factors indirectly influenced learner satisfaction through the mediating role of sense of community.

Many online content providers who use the Internet to distribute contents, such as news, music, games, books, and other types of information, have been experiencing an extremely competitive business environment. To survive in this environment, they have started charging a fee for the contents that they provide. However, there have been very few success stories in commercializing online contents. One of the biggest hurdles may be customers' psychological resistance against paying a fee for the contents that have been free of charge previously. Without examining customers' perceived prices for online contents, many online content providers have tended to decide their prices by themselves. Online games are not exceptional cases. Although many online game-related research works have focused on psychological and technical aspects, very few works have examined online garners' preference carefully. This study alms at exploring online garners' preference by measuring their WTP (willingness to pay) for online games.
