다양한 형태의 웹 탐색도구의 이용자집단간 비교효용성 및 평가에 관한 연구 (The comparative effectiveness and evaluation study of user groups of the various web search tools)

  • The purpose of this study is offering appropriate system and training program to helf the system designer and the trainer in addition to analyze information use behavior about the web search tools and evaluate the estimated system by user groups. The results of the study are as follows $\circledS1$ It is desirable to consider age than other demographic variables in the case of web search tool. $\circledS2$ It is desirable to design Directory Search Tool in the case of web search tool which serves the student user group. $\circledS3$ An Intelligent Search Tool is more appropriate for the students who are using keyword search tool than any other tools. $\circledS4$ A discussion about standard classification of the web information should be accomplished soon because users feel confused in using web search tools due t o absence of standard mode of classification about classified item. $\circledS5$ Librarians need the cognition about data on internet s a source of information and need positive service and user training program about these information because student users hardly get help from librarians or library orientation for learning method to use web search tool. $\circledS6$ Internet use experience and years of computer use had effect on their use ability when using web search tool, whereas computer use experience, library use experience and Online Public Access Catalogs (OPAC) use experience had no effect on it. Especially, OPAC use experience had no effect on use ability of web search tool of student user group because student user groups had no information about internet and web search tool and they did not recognized the difference about search method between web search tool and OPAC. $\circledS7$In the case of web search tool, it si important to index the increasing web resource automatically by a searching robot. But in the case of student users, web search tool is much more needed to index by index expert due to the absence of ability about selecting and combining keyword.

  • 본 논문은 웹 2.0의 등장에 발맞추어 사용자의 데이터 생산과 공유가 확대되면서 참여 중심의 인터넷 환경이 구축됨에 따라 새롭게 도입된 사이버가정학습 2.0의 효과적인 운영방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 웹 2.0의 문헌연구, 사이버가정학습 운영 사례, 전문가 컨설팅 및 성능 테스트를 바탕으로 연구하였다. 연구 결과 오프라인의 학교 교육과 연계하여 화상 상담, 웹기반 토론 도구를 이용한 온라인 교육이 이루어질 때 교육적 효과가 증대되며, 시스템 구성 역시 이중화하여 분산 처리함으로써 원활한 서비스가 제공될 수 있었다. 또한 발전적인 서비스 제공을 위해서는 학생, 학부모, 교사 등으로 구성된 모니터링단 운영이 요구되었다.

  • 2010년대 공영방송에서 탐사보도가 쇠락한 반면 비영리 매체 <뉴스타파>가 신뢰받는 탐사보도 기관으로 부상했다. 본 연구는 그 이유를 탐사보도의 현실적인 조건, 즉 저널리스트와 체계, 제작문화가 공영방송과 뉴스타파에서 어떻게 구현되었는가의 관점에서 살펴보았다. 정부의 압박과 경영진의 탈저널리즘 정책으로 공영방송의 탐사보도는 위축되고 제작진의 의지는 약화되고 그간 형성된 제작전통도 무너졌다. 뉴스타파는 저널리즘 실천의 의지, 자율적인 제작문화를 바탕으로 단시간에 영향력 있는 탐사보도 기관이 되었다. 역량과 의지가 있는 저널리스트와 장시간의 취재를 지원하는 시스템, 그리고 제작의 독립성이 보장될 때 의미 있는 탐사보도가 가능하다는 사실을 증명한다. 탐사보도는 해당 방송의 저널리즘 환경과 제작문화의 소산이다.

간호교육자가 인지한 국내 간호학생들을 위한 국제보건 핵심역량 (Global Health Competencies for Undergraduate Nursing Students in Korea)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify essential global health competencies for undergraduate nursing students in Korea. Methods: This study used a mixed methods design including an online survey with a convenient sample of 223 nursing educators, followed by an expert discussion with four nursing educators with expertise in global health. The global health competency was measured using the Global Health Competencies for Nurses in the America, which consists of 30 competencies in 6 domains. Each competency was measured by a 4-point Likert Scale, with at least 80% of 3 or 4 point scores indicating consensus that competency was considered essential for undergraduate nursing students. Results: Nursing educators most strongly agreed the competencies of the Social and Environmental Determinants of Health domain as essential global health competencies for nursing students. A total of 21 items in 5 out of 6 competency domains were initially identified with at least 80% agreement. Finally, the experts decided on 24 global health competencies through the revision and integration of several competencies. Conclusion: The findings indicate that nursing educators perceived that nursing students need to be prepared for responding to emerging global health needs. The proposed list of global health competencies can provide guidance to develop a framework for integrating global health into undergraduate nursing curriculums.

e-러닝에서 사회연결망 지표와 인지적 및 정의적 학업 성취도 간의 상관관계 (Correlation Between Social Network Indices and Cognitive-Affective Learning Outcomes in e-Learning)

  • 본 연구는 기업 종사자를 위한 e-러닝 학습 환경에서 사회 연결망 지표들이 인지적 및 정의적 등 두 가지 유형의 학습 성과와 어떤 상관관계를 갖고 있는지를 탐색하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구 결과, 외향 중심도와 내향 중심도 등 사회 연결망 지표 두 가지 모두가 인지적 및 정의적 학습 성과와 상관이 있을 것이라는 가설은 부분적으로만 채택되었다. 즉, 인지적 학습 성과는 외향 중심도와 내향 중심도와 공히 상관을 보였으나, 정의적 학습 성과는 어떤 중심도와도 상관되어 있지 않았다. 나아가 다중회귀 분석을 실시한 결과 수업에 참여한 학습자들이 얻은 기말 점수로 측정된 인지적 학습 성과는 내향 중심도(52%), 외향 중심도(8%)에 의해 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에서 예언할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 온라인 학습 상황에서 개인 학습자의 사회연결망 내에서의 위상이 학습 성과에 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 선행 연구 결과와 일치하고 있다.

  • 구비문학으로부터 온라인 게임에 이르기까지 이야기체는 여러 형태의 시간적 의미예술로 확장되어 왔다. 영화나 게임에서 이야기란 바로 누군가가 의식적으로 무언가를 성취하려 하는 성취욕과 장애물 사이의 대립과 경쟁을 그리는 것이다. 대립의 원칙에서 중요한 것은 주인공과 주인공의 이야기를 지적으로 흥미진진하고 감정적으로 흡인력 있도록 만드는 것으로 이것은 오로지 적대 세력의 역할이다. 인물과 맞서는 대립세력이 강력하고 복합적일수록 영화나 게임에서 인물과 이야기는 더 완벽하게 구현될 수밖에 없다. 주인공은 그가 닿지 못할 곳에 있는 욕망의 대상을 추구한다. Antagonist는 주인공과 그의 욕망 사이에 놓여 있던 거리를 더욱 멀어지게 하면서 그의 욕망을 차단한다. 따라서 주인공적 응시와 관련하여 적대 세력은 극복하여야 할 대상이지만 antagonist는 영화를 비롯한 다양한 게임 스토리의 수없이 많은 종류의 시간과 공간 속에서 다양한 내적 깊이의 욕망과 투쟁을 경험하도록 하며 우리 자신의 경험적 영역 밖으로 우리의 삶을 확장시켜 주는 경쟁적 파트너의 역할을 수행한다.

한방 치료에 대한 암 환자의 인식 조사 : 단면조사연구 (Perspectives of Cancer Patients on Korean Medicine Treatments: A Cross-sectional Survey)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to survey the general perspectives of cancer patients on Korean medicine (KM) treatments. Method: The after focus-group discussion consisted of six cancer patients. The questionnaire items were decided. Fifty randomized cancer patients completed the online survey questionnaire regarding the perspectives of KM in cancer treatment. Results: Cancer patients considered KM to be a treatment performed both by KM doctors (92%) and by others (46%), such as private practitioners. Cancer patients thought of KM treatment as effective (68%) and safe (64%), but not scientific (60%). The answers of the cancer patients regarded whether the KM treatment experiences were different in purpose, satisfaction, and types of KM treatment. The experienced KM cancer patients thought of the optimal purpose of KM as alleviating symptoms or side effects (73.7%). Experienced patients were more satisfied with KM and they preferred acupuncture and moxibustion to thermotherapy. Conclusion: Cancer patients consider KM treatment effective and safe, but not scientific. Cancer patients who are experienced with KM are favorable to KM treatment. The direction of future studies of KM in cancer care should be considered based on these findings.

Construction of a Protein-Protein Interaction Network for Chronic Myelocytic Leukemia and Pathway Prediction of Molecular Complexes

  • Background: Chronic myelocytic leukemia is a disease that threatens both adults and children. Great progress has been achieved in treatment but protein-protein interaction networks underlining chronic myelocytic leukemia are less known. Objective: To develop a protein-protein interaction network for chronic myelocytic leukemia based on gene expression and to predict biological pathways underlying molecular complexes in the network. Materials and Methods: Genes involved in chronic myelocytic leukemia were selected from OMIM database. Literature mining was performed by Agilent Literature Search plugin and a protein-protein interaction network of chronic myelocytic leukemia was established by Cytoscape. The molecular complexes in the network were detected by Clusterviz plugin and pathway enrichment of molecular complexes were performed by DAVID online. Results and Discussion: There are seventy-nine chronic myelocytic leukemia genes in the Mendelian Inheritance In Man Database. The protein-protein interaction network of chronic myelocytic leukemia contained 638 nodes, 1830 edges and perhaps 5 molecular complexes. Among them, complex 1 is involved in pathways that are related to cytokine secretion, cytokine-receptor binding, cytokine receptor signaling, while complex 3 is related to biological behavior of tumors which can provide the bioinformatic foundation for further understanding the mechanisms of chronic myelocytic leukemia.

소셜 네트워크 서비스에서 사용자의 플로우와 스트레스가 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Individual's Flow and Stress on Subjective Well-being in Social Network Services)

  • Most of the SNS users argue that they feel techno-stress or digital fatigue when they use SNS. As the relationships in the SNS expand, users may feel work overload, digital fatigue, and techno-stress which are caused by the time and effort for the retaining the existing relationships established via SNS. The SNS activities require users' time and effort to update their profiles and the current news of them, responding to online friends' contents. Thus, more relationships they have, more stress they can feel. This study tries to examine the key factors that can affect subjective well-being of individuals in Social Network Service (SNS) usage. Therefore, this study, based on the previous literature, investigates what the sources of SNS stress are and how SNS stress and flow affect subjective well-being of SNS users. Major findings of this study from an empirical analysis with 201 SNS user respondents who have accessed SNS at least one time within one month are as follows. First, perceived opportunity cost and reputation recognition in SNS usage were found to have significant effects on negative emotion. Second, individual's flow in SNS was significantly affected by challenges and interactions, and had a significant impact on positive emotion. However, SNS users' flow did not show a positive relationship with their satisfaction of life. This study contributes to the expansion of theoretical discussion about the effect of individual's SNS usage on quality of life in validating whether SNS usage can bring individuals subjective well-being. Implications of the study findings and future research directions are also discussed.

내재적 혁신성과 상품 관심이 특정 상품에 대한 소비자 혁신성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Innate Innovativeness and Product Interest on Product-Specific Consumer Innovativeness)

  • This study investigated consumer innovativeness by examining a relationship model of innate innovativeness, product interest, product-specific innovativenss, and actualized innovativeness for eight product items as well as observed gender differences in the variables. The eight product items for the survey were smartphones, movies, clothing, cars, skin care products/cosmetics, traveling, AI products, and books. An online survey was conducted in January 2018, and 400 responses from male and female consumers in their twenties and thirties, were analyzed using reliability test, descriptive statistics, regression, and ANCOVA. The positive effect of innate innovativeness and product interest on product-specific innovativeness, and positive effect of innate innovativeness and product-specific innovativeness on actualized innovativeness were confirmed. Product interest was found to have a stronger power on product-specific innovativeness than innate innovativeness. Gender differences in product interest, product-specific innovativeness, and actualized innovativeness were identified as hypothesized. Female consumer's clothing interest, clothing innovativenss, and actualized clothing innovativeness were higher than male consumers; in addition, male consumer's cars and AI interest, cars and AI innovativenss, and actualized cars and AI innovativeness were higher than female's. The controversial results that indicated the higher innate innovativeness of male consumers useful to further in-depth discussion and research. This study contributed to the theory construction of consumer innovativeness research areas and offered practical implications for new product launching and customer relationship management.
