클러스터링 데이터베이스는 높은 가용성과 확장성을 갖으며, 예상치 못한 클라이언트 질의의 증가나 질의 패턴의 변경에 따른 작업부하의 편중에 효율적으로 대처할 수 있는 구조이다. 특히 온라인 확장 기법은 트랜잭션 처리를 중지하지 않고 새로운 노드를 클러스터에 추가하여 데이터를 재구성함으로써 임의의 노드에 질의가 집중되는 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 정적으로 구성된 시스템만으로는 두 대 이상의 서버에 작업량이 집중될 경우 재배치 시 서버 간의 데이터 이동의 반복 현상이 발생되며. 이로 인해 네트웍의 부하와 함께 실시간 트랜적션의 처리에 있어서 응답 시간이 지연되는 문제점이 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 데이터 이동의 반복 현상을 해결하기 위해 클러스터링 데이터베이스에서 온라인 확장을 고려한 CSB+ 트리 색인의 온라인 재구성 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 온라인 확장을 통한 동구 노드의 확장으로 데이터 이동의 반복을 막고 새롭게 추가된 노드를 통해 빠르고 효율적인 데이터의 분산을 수행한다 또한 각 시스템의 내부를 CS$B^{+}$ 트리로 구성하여 데이터의 재주성시에도 실시간 트랜잭션에 대한 빠른 응답 시간을 보장한다.

The purpose of this study is to find important personal characteristics that affect search process and outcome, and to formulate causal models about searching behavior, by examining the channels and the magnitude of the factors identified. The study was designed to conduct a quasi-experiment with 67 student subjects. A total of 29 elements concerned with aptitude, personality, formal education, effectiveness of online training, search process, and search outcome are measured and reduced to 9 variables. 12 hypotheses were tested statistically and path analysis was done to investigate causal relationship among variables. Finally 5 models were formulated.

Fast IDentity Online(FIDO) supports biometric authentications in an online environment without transmitting biometric templates over the network. For a given FIDO client, the "Fuzzy Vault" securely stores biometric templates, houses additional biometric templates, and unlocks private keys via biometrics. The Fuzzy Vault has been extensively researched and some vulnerabilities have been discovered, such as brute force, correlation, and key inversions attacks. In this paper, we propose a simple fingerprint Fuzzy Vault for FIDO clients. By using the FIDO feature, a simple minutiae alignment, and point-to-point matching, our Fuzzy Vault provides a secure algorithm to combat a variety of attacks, such as brute force, correlation, and key inversions. Using a case study, we verified our Fuzzy Vault by using a publicly available fingerprint database. The results of our experiments show that the Genuine Acceptance Rate and the False Acceptance Rate range from 48.89% to 80% and from 0.02% to 0%, respectively. In addition, our Fuzzy Vault, compared to existing similar technologies, needed fewer attempts.

The error-backpropagation (EBP) algerithm for training multilayer perceptrons (MLPs) is known to have good features of robustness and economical efficiency. However, the algorithm has difficulty in selecting an optimal constant learning rate and thus results in non-optimal learning speed and inflexible operation for working data. This paper Introduces an elastic learning rate that guarantees convergence of learning and its local realization by online upoate of MLP parameters Into the original EBP algorithm in order to complement the non-optimality. The results of experiments on a speaker verification system with Korean speech database are presented and discussed to demonstrate the performance improvement of the proposed method in terms of learning speed and flexibility fer working data of the original EBP algorithm.

With the start of COVID-19 in 2020, the MBTI test became popular among Korean young generation and then developed into a nationwide hot topic. This paper aims to investigate the characteristics of the MBTI popularity in Korea and the public opinions toward this phenomenon. With the analysis of the reports contents, 231 news reports related to MBTI were selected from KINDS (Korea Integrated News Database System) as research samples. The general attitude of the media towards MBTI tests and the reasons for the formation of positive and negative evaluations will be discussed from three perspectives: media attention, media attitudes and cognitive sources. The research finds that the increasing interest in MBTI among the younger generation in Korea is driven by a post-epidemic desire for self-exploration, emotional planning, and online group affiliation. MBTI has gained quasi-scientific status, similar to horoscopes, influenced by celebrities and a substantial fan base in online communication. While widely used for entertainment and social currency, there are concerns that extensive labeling may unconsciously impact individuals' self-perception and hinder the development of a holistic and objective cognitive framework.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current infrastructure of database on costume cultural heritage. The contents, kinds and accessibility regarding the digital contents of the websites of literature archives, museums and culturecontent.com by Korea Creative Content Agency were analyzed. First, it was evident that the quantity and quality of the database should be improved. The literature archives are mostly comprised of historical documents; however, the quantity of the database regarding the documents that are commonly studied in the field of traditional costume is not satisfactory. On the other hand, the quality of the database depends on the in-depth understanding of the terminology because errors occur when the contents of literature are transferred to an online database. Second, various information is required to meet the needs and interests of the digital environment. Most of the museums provide information on costume cultural heritage through their websites; nevertheless, it is not thorough and only partial. Third, the reliability of information needs to improve. The various contents provided by culturecontent.com lack reliability as it focuses on the entertainment values. To increase reliability, the source and origin of the information about the costume cultural heritage should be provided and the contents should be proofread before they are exposed to the public. Based on these findings, the researchers put forward the following suggestions: the quantity and quality of the databases should be enriched, and that more diverse information is required. Finally, more attention should be paid to increase the reliability of this information. This study will be an asset for the foundation to build solid databases and popularization of the traditional costumes.

Due to the advance of computer and communication technology, intrusions or crimes using a computer have been increased rapidly while tremendous information has been provided to users conveniently Specially, for the security of a database which stores important information such as the private information of a customer or the secret information of a company, several basic suity methods of a database management system itself or conventional misuse detection methods have been used. However, a problem caused by abusing the authority of an internal user such as the drain of secret information is more serious than the breakdown of a system by an external intruder. Therefore, in order to maintain the sorority of a database effectively, an anomaly defection technique is necessary. This paper proposes a method that generates the normal behavior profile of a user from the database log of the user based on an association mining method. For this purpose, the Information of a database log is structured by a semantically organized pattern tree. Consequently, an online transaction of a user is compared with the profile of the user, so that any anomaly can be effectively detected.

The recent growth of full-text database operations has brought new opportunities for subject access. The fundamental problem of subject access in the online environment is the indexing language and technology. The purpose of this paper is to identify the characteristics and capabilities of full-text retrieval as compared to traditional bibliographic retrieval. Retrieval performance of indexing languages, full-text systems features achieved so far, and the new role of a controlled vocabulary, are examined. This paper also includes a review of the research on full-text retrieval performance.

This paper concerns developing an integrated online/offline light facility management system using internet and building a database system for control box and street light. Also, we designed the system to minimize the disparity with the conventional management system by referring to an old management ledger format. Thus, the proposed method may enable the system manager to administer the light facility efficiently and to reduce the manpower and maintenance cost, economically.
