A Research on Setting up Cultural Tourism Festival Concepts to Revitalize Local Tourism in the Post-Corona era (포스트 코로나 시대의 지역관광 활성화를 위한 문화관광축제 콘셉트 설정 연구)

  • This study aims to establish the most appropriate festival concept in the post-corona era through in-depth analysis and discussion of local festivals, and to propose a tourism festival for international competitiveness and tourist satisfaction. It also aims to contribute to revitalization of local tourism and the revitalization of the local economy by establishing and implementing a new festival concept in the post-corona era. The results of the review of previous studies, empirical research, and comprehensive meta-analysis showed that it was necessary to change the festival concept setting. In the post-Corona era, it is necessary to build a concept through an online video platform, establish a safety packaged tourism festival prevention system, and hold the most distributed tourist festival time and space of the tourist festival and space as much as possible. In addition, it appeared that it was necessary to plan and implement the village tourism festival through the participation of residents, and to apply the concept of a tourism festival enjoyed by small neighbors and neighbors in the village unit.

Assessment of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Medicine Clinical Practice Using the Objective Structured Clinical Examination

  • Background: The objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) is a widely used method to assess the clinical performance of students in clinical practice. Although OSCE has been used for undergraduate students of Korean medicine, this has not been widely reported. Methods: In 2020, the practical course for acupuncture and moxibustion medicine (acupuncture, electroacupuncture, pharmacopuncture, auricular acupuncture, and burning acupuncture) was taught using flipped learning, according to clinical practice guidelines, and assessed by the OSCE. The appropriateness of this model of education and its evaluation using OSCE were evaluated using a 5-point Likert scale, and the results were analyzed. Results: Of the respondents, 67% reported that the OSCE accurately reflected their competency, and 82% reported that online video lectures helped them to improve their clinical skills. The average adequacy score of the model was > 3.7/5, and the average adequacy score of the checklist used in the OSCE was > 4.1/5 for all 5 clinical application skills. The difference in the mean self-efficacy score between students who had taken the OSCE and those students who had not taken the OSCE, was highest in the burning acupuncture group (0.923). Conclusion: This study showed that students' satisfaction with the OSCE was high and flipped learning was an effective education model. In the future, models representing the human body or simulated patients should be used to evaluate students' skills and attitude.

  • As the use of smart devices is being increased rapidly by the development of internet and IT technology, the contents production and utilization rate are showing higher increase, too. In addition, the type of contents also shows very diverse forms such as education, game, video, UCC, etc. In the meantime, the contents are reproduced in diverse forms by reprocessing the original contents, and they are being serviced through the contents service platform. Therefore, the platform to make the contents reprocessing easy and fast is needed. As the diverse contents distribution channels such as YouTube, SNS, App Service, etc, easier contents distribution platform is needed, and the development of the relevant area is expected. In addition, as the selective consumption of the contents having easy accessibility through diverse smart devices is distinguished, the demand for the platform and service that can identify the contents consumption propensity by individual is being increased. Therefore, in this study, to vitalize the online contents distribution, the contents reproduction and publishing platform, was designed and materialized, which can reproduce and distribute the contents based on the real-time contents editing technology in URL unit and the consumer propensity analysis technology using the data management-based broadcasting contents distribution metadata technology and the edited image contents streaming technology. In addition, in the results of comparing with other platforms through the experiment, the performance superiority of the suggested platform was verified. If the suggested platform is applied to the areas of education, broadcasting, press, etc, the multi-media contents can be reproduced and distributed easily, through which the vitalization of contents-related industry is expected.

  • This study explores the factor which effects user's viewing on online in the situation of increasing viewing via OTT. After analyzing how the amount of news coverage and viewing rate affects user's active viewing, higher the number of views, In case of groundwave programs, if number of news coverage is high, hits of view and the number of comments is also high. While viewing rate, the number of views, the number of comments are independent of each other. In case of TV channels of comprehensive programming and cable TV, there is a interaction effect of viewing rate and the amount of news coverage. This study highlights the importance of the amount of news coverage when viewers is watching video on web.

The effect of live commerce's para-social interaction on satisfaction with the experience - Focused on the moderated mediation effect of self-image congruity - (라이브 커머스의 의사사회적 상호작용이 경험 만족도에 미치는 영향 - 자아 이미지 일치성의 조절된 매개효과를 중심으로 -)

  • Live-streaming commerce business is growing as the consumption of video content and Smartphone shopping increases. This study examines the following three aspects: whether para-social interaction influences perceived interactivity; whether seller trust affects satisfaction with the experience; whether relationships are controlled by a moderated mediator of self-image congruity. An online survey was conducted with 203 women aged 20-30 years. They were asked to respond to the survey after watching a beauty category live-streaming commerce broadcast. The results revealed that the para-social interaction had a significant effect on perceived interactivity, seller trust and satisfaction with the experience. The findings also indicated that the perceived interactivity and seller trust mediated the relationship between para-social interaction and satisfaction with the experience. Regarding the mediated moderation effect of self-image congruity, it was statistically significant between para-social interaction and perceived interactivity through seller trust. A higher level of consumer's self-image congruity influenced the greater effect of para-social interaction on live commerce experience. This study makes important theoretical contributions to the para-social interaction in mobile commerce industry by emphasizing the mediating role of perceived interactivity and seller trust. This is achieved by examining the moderating effects of self-congruity on satisfaction with the experience. The results also verify the seller's crucial role in live-streaming commerce market which leads to the consumers greater fulfillment.

Exploring News Sharers' Characteristics and Factors Affecting News Sharing Behavior (온라인 뉴스 공유자의 특성 및 뉴스 공유에 미치는 요인 탐색)

  • The present study aims to explore news sharers' characteristic. Specifically, it aims to look at news sharers' demographic characteristics, old media news usage and new media news usage. Besides, it also explores factors affecting news sharing behavior. The study used the second data of Korea Press Foundation. Findings from surveys suggest that first, news sharers are younger and have higher education than not news sharers. Second, news sharers use less news through old media while more news through new media. Third, political orientation, portal, SNS and online video platform new usage, messenger news reliability have positive effects on news sharing, while age and portal news reliability have negative effects on it. Based on these findings, implication, limitations, and topics for future research are discussed.

The Effect of Interjection in Conversational Interaction with the AI Agent: In the Context of Self-Driving Car (인공지능 에이전트 대화형 인터랙션에서의 감탄사 효과: 자율주행 맥락에서)

  • This study aims to identify the effect on the user experiences when the embodied agent in a self-driving car interacts with emotional expressions by using 'interjection'. An experimental study was designed with two conditions: the inclusion of injections in the agent's conversation feedbacks (with interjections vs. without interjections) and the type of conversation (task-oriented conversation vs. social-oriented conversation). The online experiment was conducted with the four video clips of conversation scenario treatments and measured intimacy, likability, trust, social presence, perceived anthropomorphism, and future intention to use. The result showed that when the agent used interjection, the main effect on social presence was found in both conversation types. When the agent did not use interjection in the task-oriented conversation, trust and future intention to use were higher than when the agent talked with emotional expressions. In the context of the conversation with the AI agent in a self-driving car, we found only the effect of adding emotional expression by using interjection on the enhancing social presence, but no effect on the other user experience factors.

Communicative Model of Educational Transformations in the Realities of (Post) Modernity

  • In the context of the pandemic, educational institutions had to ensure an instant transition to remote technological models of communication within the new conditions of the educational environment. The purpose of the academic paper lies in determining the role of the communicative model of educational transformations in the realities of (post) modernity. The research methodology is based on a survey of 120 students from 10 higher educational institutions (HEIs) of Ukraine through an online form regarding the importance of live communication during a pandemic. Results. The communicative model changed significantly during the pandemic - the interaction was mainly due to technologies. The research has identified four communication models of educational transformations under the conditions of the pandemic, depending on learning models. The first traditional model of distance learning involves distance learning; the second model involves contact remote training using remote educational technologies; the third model is blended learning, which combines remote and traditional learning formats, synchronous and asynchronous modes of interaction; the fourth model is traditional contact training. The empirical study of the effectiveness of communication models proves that live communication remains extremely important for learning and understanding of educational materials by students, and technology has provided support for such communication. Along with this, seminars and video lectures with presentations combining live communication and communication technologies are as important as digital learning tools. The most effective teaching method for mastering and memorizing educational material was a live dialogue with a teacher at seminars in ZOOM, followed by individual written assignments on the studied topic.

  • The purpose of this study is to share and assess the experiences of the emergency remote teaching method adopted for the medical communication course at a medical school due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The standardized patients hired for this 'Emergency Remote Teaching (hereafter ERT)' course said that students' interactions with them were less enthusiastic and less realistic, However, in the one-on-one virtual practice, the students seemed to be more focused than in the existing face to face practice. There were no differences in the unit practice test scores between ERT and the face-to-face course while in the face-to-face final exam, the test scores of FTF students were statistically higher than those of the ERT students, which might have resulted from the different methodologies of teaching. Further research on the virtual medical communication course is necessary to prepare medical students for the adoption of the telemedicine which could be accelerated in the near future.

Relationship between Psychological Characteristics of YouTube Viewers and Purchase Intention after Watching Videos: Effect of Product Type (유튜브 시청자의 심리적 특성과 영상 시청 후 구매 의도의 관계 : 제품 유형의 영향)

  • This study focused on the psychological characteristics of viewers watching the video, the effect of the variables of the viewer's self-control and impulsiveness level on the purchase intention was examined. In addition, the relationship between viewers' psychological characteristics and product types was also examined, reflecting that the factors that viewers consider in the purchase decision-making process may vary depending on the product type. As a result of conducting a survey of a total of 214 people, it was confirmed that the group with a low level of self-control or high impulsiveness had a higher purchase intention after watching YouTube videos on specific products than the group without. In addition, it was confirmed that the effect was same when utilitarian product purchase situation is given.
