  • The purpose of this study was to discuss the role of mothers in children's privacy protection on the Internet. Specifically, the study explored 1)children's privacy protection efforts on the Internet, 2)types of personal information children provided at Web sites, and 3)the effect of mothers' privacy protection efforts on their children's privacy protection levels. The Internet survey was conducted and total of 153 mothers and their children aged 12-13 were included for statistical analysis. The descriptive statistics and Ordinary Least Squares were used. The results yield that children showed relatively high levels in providing personal information on the Internet, while they have no sufficient competency at privacy protection. The effect of mothers' privacy protection efforts on children's privacy protection was partially supported. The longer hours of Internet use and frequent participation in online events increased the potential consequences of children's privacy invasion. Providing privacy standards for online service providers and marketers targeting children could help protect children's privacy. Moreover, education program targeting parents and children could contribute them reduce potential consequences of children's privacy invasion.

  • This study investigated students' perception of a starting up business in the fashion design related departments of two year colleges to present the basic data for designing a start up business education and examined the opening status of the start up business subjects. Only 4.4% of respondents answered that they had an experience in a start up. And 76.2% of respondents answered that they would like to start up a business after graduation. The initial start up types were "online shopping mall" and "blog market" in that order. Nearly 86.7% of respondents answered that they needed "start up" education in college. To the question of whether they would participate if there is a start up extracurricular program, and the subject they would choose, 40.9% answered "I want to get a start up related certification", showing the highest rate of interest in the course. The status of introducing start up business subjects in the regular courses in fashion design related departments in 25 two year colleges related that there were 11 start up related courses begun in the last semester, that is, the 2nd semester of the 2nd year. Since the proportion of clothing in online shopping malls is high, start up education based on the demands of students in fashion design majors can be used as another employment exit strategy.

  • A GA is one of the best method to find optimal value in searching area. A GA is driven by probabilistic selection that based on the survival of the fittest. So this algorithm need a huge solving time even if it can be used lots of optimizing problem such as structural design, machine learning, system's identification and so on. This GA's characteristic constrain the program to drive offline. Some studies try to use this algorithm on online or reduce the GA's running time with parallel GA or micro GA. Unfortunately these studies still didn't reduce amount of fitness solving. If the chromosome was imported to the system, it affected system's stability. And when the control system uses online GA, it also doesn't have enough learning time. In this study, try to find stability criterion to reduce the chromosome's affection and find the characteristic of the number of population and generation when GA was driven into the wide searching area.

  • This study was to investigate the relationship of BMI, sleep time and experience of oral diseases in adolescents. We want to help develop basic data for improving oral health of adolescents. According to the sample design of the Youth Health Behavior online survey, a total of 57,303 adolescents were analyzed for frequency of composite samples, x2-test of composite samples, and logistic regression of composite samples, and the IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 program was used and the significance level was 0.05. Results, BMI was associated with bad breath, and sleep time was associated with tooth break, pain, bleeding, and bad breath. Therefore, BMI and sleep time should be considered for the management and prevention of oral diseases in adolescents.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify online-game players' desire in cheating programs through Rene Girard's theory of mimetic desire. Cheating programs disrupts the magic circle of the game with denying the lusory attitude that players should have. The cheating players' desires do not go directly to victory, but are mediated by a virtual 'model player' which the rules of the game imply. They are internally mediated, so there is constant conflict in the play. Cheating players' desire to enhance skills by technology is defined as a false desire for transhuman.

The online survey was conducted on the 400 fashion customers aged between 20s and 50s living in Korea and America. The survey consisted of measurement items about channel choice behaviors for purchase or information search, risk perception on channel, repurchase intention at same channel, perception on experience or search goods among apparel items. The data were analyzed by frequency, regression, t-test using SPSS 18.0 program. The ratio of utilization multichannel was higher in fashion goods area in Korea fashion business. Also, most of Top-ranked fashion or accessory retailers in America were taking advantage of multichannel strategy. There were some differences between Korea and US consumers in channel choice behaviors for purchase or information search, risk perception for retail channel, repurchase intention at same channel, perception on experience or search goods among apparel items, etc. Some suggestion for the future research for multichannel strategy in fashion retailing was given.

  • This study investigates the effects of consumer innovativeness on e-loyalty mediated by shopping mall attributes and consumer satisfaction with the Internet. Data were obtained from 243 consumers who had bought fashion products through online shopping. Data were analyzed by using factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, and path analysis using LISREL 8.53 program. The results of this study suggest that the consumer innovativeness, such as Internet-innovativeness and Fashion-innovativeness affect shopping mall attributes including Loading, Visual, Information, Variety, and Price/Fashion. These attributes and the shopping mall satisfaction partially mediated the impact of consumer innovativeness on e-loyalty of shopping malls through the Internet. Especially, consumer satisfaction was the most important determinant to build up e-loyalty for the online shopping of fashion products. The findings provide implications for e-retailers to develop strategies related to consumer innovativeness, shopping mall attributes, and the e-loyalty of shopping malls for fashion products.

  • This study aims to add insight into the effectiveness of e-training, e-leadership, work-life balance, and work motivation on millennial generation employees' performance in today's work life amid the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic that requires to work more online. Unlike previous generations, millennials are technology-literate, intent on succeeding quickly, give up easily, and seek instantaneous gratification. The population in this study are millennial generation employees at one of Honda motorcycle dealers in Jakarta, Indonesia. The number of samples collected was 200. The sampling technique used is the side probability method, with proportional random sampling technique. The research method used is an associative quantitative approach through survey methods and Structural Equation Modeling. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to millennial generation employees, with results then processed through the Lisrel 8.5 program. The results of this study show, first, that e-training, e-leadership, and work-life balance have positive effect on work motivation. Second, e-training, e-leadership, work-life balance, and work motivation have positive effect on employees' performance. The findings indicate that companies must pay attention to the factors of e-training, e-leadership, and work-life balance to keep employees motivated and to maintain optimal employee performance, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic through working online.
