제주지역 젊은 성인의 배달음식 섭취실태와 식생활 및 비만과의 연관성 (Association of delivered food consumption with dietary behaviors and obesity among young adults in Jeju)

  • 본 연구는 제주지역 20-30대 성인 312명의 배달음식 섭취 실태를 파악하고, 이에 따른 식생활 및 비만과의 연관성을 규명하고자 하였다. 조사참여자의 배달음식 섭취 빈도는 '주 1-2회(32.37%)'가 가장 높았으며, 다음으로 월 1-3회 (32.05%)', '주 3-4회 (20.51%)순으로 높았다. 아침식사 섭취빈도가 높을수록 배달음식 섭취 빈도가 낮게 나타났으며, 평소 짜게 먹을수록 배달음식 섭취 빈도가 높게 나타났다. 조사대상자의 비만 여부에 따른 배달음식 섭취빈도 분석 결과, 비만한 그룹에서 배달음식을 주 3회 이상 섭취하는 비율 (40.00%)이 비만하지 않은 그룹 (23.38%)에 비해 높았고, 배달음식을 주 1회 미만 섭취하는 비율은 비만하지 않은 그룹(45.02%)에서 비만한 그룹 (28.00%)에 비해 높았다. 배달음식 섭취빈도와 비만과의 연관성을 알아보기 위해 다중 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 배달음식을 주 1회 미만 섭취하는 경우에 비해 주 3회 이상 섭취할 경우 비만의 교차비가 2.4배 더 유의하게 높았다. 이상과 같은 결과를 토대로 할 때 제주지역 젊은 성인에서 배달음식을 자주 섭취할수록 아침결식, 평소 짜게 먹는 등 식생활이 바람직하지 않았고, 비만의 위험이 높았다. 본 연구의 결과는 배달음식 소비자 측면에서 건강한 음식 선택 및 섭취를 위한 영양지식 증가의 필요성을 시사한다. 배달시장 측면에서는 배달음식의 종류가 다양화됨에 따라 건강식에 대한 수요가 높아지고 있으므로 건강 고려사항에 대한 옵션 강화가 요구되며, 배달음식 영양표시를 위한 정부 및 지자체의 지원이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

증기 자가방출 스마트 전자레인지 포장재 적용을 위한 복합필름 특성연구 (Properties of Smart Vapor Self-Releasing Composite Films to Microwave Packaging)

  • 본 연구에서는 전자레인지 조리 시 발생하는 포장 내부의 수증기를 스스로 방출할 수 있는 PLA 기반 스마트 복합 필름을 제조하였다. 제조된 복합필름의 전자레인지 조리가 가능한 HMR 제품의 포장재로써 적용가능성을 평가하기 위해 DSC, UTM, GTR 및 전자레인지 모의 적용 평가를 통해 열적 특성, 기계적 특성, 온도 구간별 기체 투과도 및 전자레인지 적용성을 평가하였다. 복합필름의 열적 특성을 확인한 결과, PLA와 PEG의 강한 화학적 상호작용을 확인하였고 본 연구에서 기대한 전자레인지 조리 온도 내에서 PEG가 용융되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 제조된 복합필름은 PEG의 첨가로 인해 인장강도는 감소하였지만 연신율이 증가하였고, nanoclay의 함량이 증가함에 따라 감소된 인장강도가 일부 회복한 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 기체투과도의 경우 PEG의 Tm1 이상인 65℃ 부터 PEG가 용융되면서 투과도가 비약적으로 증가한 것을 확인하였다. 전자레인지 모의 적용 평가를 통해 pure PLA는 내부 수증기를 방출하지 못하고 그 압력을 버티지 못해 폭발한 것에 비해, 복합필름의 경우 전자레인지 수증기 발생 온도에서 그 형태를 유지하며 효과적으로 내부 수증기를 자가방출한 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서 제조한 스마트 복합필름은 포장재로써 향후 전자레인지 조리 HMR식품 포장재로써 적용될 수 있다.

비대면 음성 쇼핑의 인지된 가치, 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향 관계에 관한 연구 (The Influence of Perceived Value on Continuance Use Intention in Voice Commerce Context)

  • 음성 쇼핑이 새로운 정보 탐색 및 구매 채널로 주목을 받고 있다. 본 논문은 비대면 음성 쇼핑의 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 가치기반수용모델을 이용하여 살펴보았다. 음성 쇼핑 이용 경험이 있는 소비자들을 대상으로 온라인 조사를 실시하였으며, 총 470명의 응답자료가 최종 분석에 활용되었다. 음성 쇼핑 경험자는 음성 쇼핑으로 물품을 구매하였거나 음식 배달 서비스를 이용한 개인들로 한정하였다. SPSS 23.0과 Amos 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계 분석, 상관관계 분석, 확인적 요인분석, 그리고 구조모형 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유용성과 응대 정확성이 음성 쇼핑의 인지된 가치를 증가시키는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 기능적 위험이 음성 쇼핑의 인지된 가치를 감소시키는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 인지된 가치가 음성 쇼핑의 지속이용의도를 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 음성 쇼핑을 이용하는 소비자들의 특성을 이해하고, 음성 쇼핑이 이용자들에게 혜택을 제공하는 유용한 서비스로 자리매김하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

환경관심, 환경지식, 소비가치가 업사이클 제품의 구매의도 및 구매행동에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Environmental Concern, Environmental Knowledge, and Consumer Value on Purchase Intention and Behavior of Up-cycled Products )

  • With the increase in online shopping and delivery food consumption since the pandemic, solving environmental problems caused by single-use packaging has become an important issue. 'Upcycling' is a combination of 'Upgrade' and 'Recycle', and it is the rebirth of obsolete or discarded objects by adding new value to them, and there are currently various upcycled products on the market. In order to activate upcycling, consumers' awareness of the environment and their values for consumption are very important. This study aims to investigate the influence of students' environmental concern, environmental experience, and consumption value on their purchase intention of upcycled products. Based on the results of previous studies on environmental concern, environmental experience, and consumption value, hypotheses were set, and a survey was conducted among university students nationwide to test the hypotheses. The results of this study are as follows First, environmental concern has a significant positive effect on purchase intention of upcycled products. It can be seen that the more environmental concerns such as global warming and waste disposal problems increase, the more positive attitudes toward upcycled products increase. Second, the research hypothesis that environmental knowledge will have a positive effect on the purchase intention of upcycled products is rejected. It was found that environmental knowledge is acquired through environmental education and many SNS, but it does not have a direct effect on the purchase intention of upcycled products. Third, it was found that the consumption value of college students has a positive effect on the purchase intention of upcycled products by increasing their positive perception of upcycled products. Fourth, college students' purchase intention of upcycled products has a positive effect on their behavioral intention to purchase upcycled products. The results of the study provide implications for relevant organizations such as universities and companies to effectively design upcycling-related education. It is also expected to have a positive impact on the use of upcycled products by providing basic information on the characteristics of consumers who purchase upcycled products.

Plastic recycling in South Korea: problems, challenges, and policy recommendations in the endemic era

  • Background: Despite many environmental problems, plastic waste emissions have been a significant surge during last few decades in the Republic of Korea. Furthermore, the emergence of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has lead to an increased use and disposal of plastic waste worldwide. This paper tried to present summarized data related to the production and disposal of plastics especially before and after the COVID-19 pandemic with environmental impacts of plastics. Also, review of plastic waste reduction policies and feasible policies to promote an act for a safe, sustainable environment are presented. Results: Plastics cause many environmental problems due to their non-degrading properties and have a huge direct and indirect impact on Ecosystems and Public Health. Microplastics need a lot of attention because their environmental effects are not yet fully identified. Despite plastic's significant impact on climate change, the impact is not yet widely known to the public. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of plastic has surged and recycling has decreased due to the increase in delivery food and online shopping. Korea is introducing very active plastic and waste management policies, but it is necessary to implement more active policies by referring to the cases of other countries. Conclusions: In this article, we have scrutinized the evolution of plastic waste generation in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and delved into policy frameworks adopted by other nations, which South Korea can draw valuable lessons from. The formidable challenges posed by plastic waste, the remarkable shifts witnessed during the COVID-19 era, and the multifaceted response strategies elucidated in this paper all play a pivotal role in steering South Korea toward a sustainable future.

청년 1인가구를 위한 식생활교육 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Dietary Education Program for Korean Young Adults in Single-Person Households)

  • 본 연구는 청년 1인가구를 위한 식생활교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 청년 1인가구의 식생활 요구도 조사를 위해 국민건강영양조사 7기(2016~2018년) 자료를 활용하여 1인가구와 다인가구의 식생활 행태를 비교분석을 하였고, 청년 1인가구의 식생활 행태를 분석하기 위해 서울에 거주하는 청년 1인가구(만19~39세) 350명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석한 결과, 1인가구는 다인가구보다 아침 결식률과 외식빈도가 높았으며, 에너지 및 영양소 평균섭취량이 유의적으로 낮았다(p<0.05). 특히 청년 1인가구의 경우 가정에서의 조리 빈도가 낮을수록 아침 결식률이 높았고 외식과 배달음식 섭취빈도가 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.05). 이런 요구도 조사를 바탕으로 식생활교육 이론모델로 사회인지이론을 선정하였고, 청년 1인가구를 위한 식생활교육 프로그램을 DESIGN 6단계 절차를 적용하여 개발하였다. 1차시는 집밥의 건강향상 효과와 경제적 이익, 2차시 아침의 중요성과 생활 속 운동의 효과, 3차시 균형 잡힌 영양섭취의 중요성과 건강한 식단 작성의 원리, 4차시는 식품안전과 보관, 5차시는 소셜다이닝의 효과의 내용으로 구성하였다. 각 차시는 '건강한 집밥을 더 많이 만들어 먹기'라는 동기유발을 위한 이론강의와 행동수행력 향상을 위한 조리실습을 결합하여 구성되었다.

포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통한 COVID-19 유행 동안 학교 급식의 변화 (Changes in School Foodservice during COVID-19 Pandemic Lockdown based on Focus Group Interviews)

  • This qualitative study analyzed various environmental factors and difficulties faced by school foodservices during the COVID-19 pandemic. Focus group interviews were conducted by enrolling 12 nutrition teachers and nutritionists. Data collected were subsequently analyzed for changes implemented during the pandemic, in hygiene management, diet management, and distribution management of the school meal. The content and method of delivery of information related to diet guidance and school foodservice by related organizations were also examined. Results of the survey show that personal hygiene (such as maintaining student-to-student distance, checking students for a fever, and hand disinfection) was duly applied, installation of table coverings and distancing between school cafeteria seats were conducted, and mandatory mask-wearing to prevent droplet transmission was enforced. Depending on the COVID-19 situation, the number of students having school meals was limited per grade, and time-spaced meals were provided. To prevent infection, menus that required frequent hand contact were excluded from the meal plan. Overall, it was difficult to manage the meal plan due to frequent changes in tasks, such as the number of orders and meal expenses. These changes were communicated by nutrition teachers and nutritionists wherein the numbers of school meals were adjusted, depending on situations arising from each COVID-19 crisis stage. Furthermore, in some schools, either face-to-face nutrition counseling was stopped entirely, or nutrition education was conducted online. Parent participation was disallowed in the monitoring of school meals, and the prohibition on conversations inside the school cafeteria resulted in the absence of communication among students, nutrition teachers, and nutritionists. Additionally, confusion in meal management was caused by frequent changes in the school meal management guidelines provided by the Office of Education and the School Health Promotion Center in response to COVID-19. In anticipation of the emergence of a new virus or infectious diseases caused by mutations in the years to come, it is suggested that a holistic, well-thought-out response manual for safe meal operation needs to be established, in close collaboration with schools and school foodservice-related institutions.

O2O를 활용한 신선한 농산품 전자상거래의 지속적 사용의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Continuance Intention of O2O Fresh Agricultural Products E-Commerce)

  • Purpose - This study focuses on the continuance intention of O2O fresh agricultural products e-commerce. By literature review, this paper looks through the classical theories which are often applied to study use behavior and continuance intention on the electronic commerce area. Ultimately based on the expectancy theory, Technology acceptance model, success model as well as trust model, a model of the continuance intention of fresh products O2O electronic commerce application is established. Research design, data, and methodology - Among users Chinese consumers have been chosen who have use experience as the research objects. From October 2, 2018 to November 2, 2018, 685 questionnaires in total were collected by the online release and collection. Expect for the negative questionnaires, the remaining 650 pieces of data are statistically analyzed. The collected data were firstly be analyzed by SPSS Ver. 25 on its frequency, reliability and exploratory factors. Then AMOS Ver. 25 is applied to the Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Discriminant Validity and hypothesis testing of the Structural Equation Modeling. Finally, the following research conclusions could be obtained from the hypothesis testing. Results - Firstly, in the extended IS model, quality factor for hypothesis testing, service quality, information quality and delivery quality have obviously present positive influences on satisfaction respectively. Secondly, in the hypothesis testing part of ECM-ISC model and UTAUT model, all hypotheses have presented accepted results. Especially from expectation confirmation to usefulness perception, the influence factor achieves 12.603, In the hypothesis of continuance intention, the influence factor of social influence on continuance intention is 7.748 and also it is the most remarkable one. Conclusions - The results show that the service quality of O2O fresh agricultural products e-commerce has the greatest impact on satisfaction, while the perceived usefulness of consumers has the most significant impact on O2O fresh agricultural products for sustainable use intention. This thesis makes up for the blank of O2O fresh food e-commerce for sustainable use intentions, and provides a theoretical basis for consumers' sustainable use behavior, and practical enlightenment for the sustainable development of O2O fresh agricultural products e-commerce.
