  • As an approach to design the intelligent controller, this paper proposes a new FNN(Fuzzy Neural Network) control method using the hybrid combination of fuzzy logic control and neural network. The proposed FNN controller has two important capabilities, namely, adaptation and learning. These functions are performed by the following process. Firstly, identification of the parameters and estimation of the states for the unknown plant are achieved by the MNN(Model Neural Network) which is continuously trained on-line. And secondly, the learning is performed by FNN controller. The error back propagation algorithm is adopted as a learning technique. The effectiveness of the proposed method will be demonstrated by computer simulation of a two d.o.f. robot manipulator.

부가경로 전달함수의 온라인 예측에 의한 능동 소음 제어의 성능 향상 (Performance Improvement of Active Noise Control with On-line Estimation of Secondary Path Transfer Function)

  • 본 연구에서는 플랜트 잡음이 강한 음향 환경에서 기존의 인버스 필터링 방법에 적용 선형 증진기를 부착하여 부가경로 전달함수의 온라인 모델링과 주소음원에 대한 제어 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째로, 신호대 잡음비가 낮은 음향 환경에서 적응 선형 증진기를 이용하여 플랜트 잡음을 제거함으로써 부가경로 전달함수의 온라인 모델링을 수행할 수 있었다. 둘째로, 실제의 부가경로 전달함수가 변한 상태에서 제안된 알고리즘을 이용하여 제어 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 주소음원에 대한 제어와 정확하게 새로운 부가경로 전달함수를 예측할 수 있었다. 향후 본 연구에서 제안된 알고리즘을 실시간 어셈블리화하여 능동 소음 제어 실험한 결과를 발표할 예정이다.

  • In an active noise control(ANC) system using the Filtered-X least mean square(LMS) algorithm, the online secondary path modeling method by exploiting a random noise generator is applied. This method is suitable for secondary path modeling. However, it is increased the residual error of the ANC system. In this paper, we presents an ANC system improved online secondary path modeling method which is modified Kuo and Zhang model that is the secondary path estimation by the additive noise. In addition, our proposed model is used that additive noise is transformed into the signal multiplied reference signal by gain control parameter and delayed.

  • PWM-VSI based ac-drives have high nonlinearity due to dead-time in the inverter and the voltage drop across the switching devices. In this paper, we introduced a new nonlinear model of PWM-VSl including parastic capacitor and also showed validity of the model by circuit simulations and experiments. Furthermore, we proposed an on-line identification algorithm for the uncertain model parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 Synchrophasor에서 취득한 순시치 데이터에 이산푸리에 변환을 적용하여 정확한 실효치 전압과 전류를 계산하고 이를 이용하여 ${\pi}$-등가회로로 모의한 선로의 선로정수를 추정한다. 모의계통을 통해 검증하였다.

  • A simple and effective dead time compensation scheme for a PWM inverter-fed permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive using the model reference adaptive control (MRAC) and coordinate transformation is presented. The basic concept is to first transform a time-varying disturbance caused by the dead time and inverter nonlinearity into unknown constant or slowly-varying one by the coordinate transformation, and then use the MRAC design technique to estimate this parameter in the stationary reference frame. Since the MRAC scheme is a suitable way of estimating such a parameter, the control performance can be significantly improved as compared with the conventional observer-based method tracking time-varying parameters. In the proposed scheme, the disturbance voltage caused by the dead time is effectively estimated and compensated by on-line basis without any additional circuits nor existing disadvantages as in the conventional methods. The asymptotic stability is proved and the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified.

  • This paper presents the detecting algorithm of inrush current which causes protective equipment to maloperate in energizing a power distribution line. This detecting algorithm uses the method which extracts the decay component and energy of 2nd harmonics by Prony Spectral Estimation Method existed AR model to new ARMA model. In this paper, the inrush currents are obtained by model simulations and fild tests. By applying these data to the detecting algorithm, it has been confirmed to discriminate inrush currents from fault currents.

On-line Estimation of DNB Protection Limit via a Fuzzy Neural Network

  • The Westinghouse OT$\Delta$T DNB protection logic heavily restricts the operation region by applying the same logic for a full range of operating pressure in order to maintain its simplicity. In this work, a fuzzy neural network method is used to estimate the DNB protection limit using the measured average temperature and pressure of a reactor core. Fuzzy system parameters are optimized by a hybrid learning method. This algorithm uses a gradient descent algorithm to optimize the antecedent parameters and a least-squares algorithm to solve the consequent parameters. The proposed method is applied to Yonggwang 3&4 nuclear power plants and the proposed method has 5.99 percent larger thermal margin than the conventional OT$\Delta$T trip logic. This simple algorithm provides a good information for the nuclear power plant operation and diagnosis by estimating the DNB protection limit each time step.

  • Recently, there has been growing necessity to estimate the future travel demand of high speed train because the circumstance of high speed train service is rapidly changing with the launching of 2011 second stage of Gyeongbu high speed railway(Dongdaegu-Busan) and the completion of 2014 first stage of Honam high speed railway(Yongsan-Gwangju), etc. This study was designed to estimate future travel demand by analyzing the transport performance and train service characteristics of Gyeongbu and Honam line. This study presents the maximum load section and the changed future travel demand, which will be applied to establish a train operation plan.

  • In this paper we use discrete simulation method to get the criteria of system evaluation required in the case of designing the complicated probabilistic event system having discrete probabilistic variables and to search the effective and reliable alternatives to satisfy the objective value of the given system through on-line, single run within the short time period. If we find the alternative we construct the algorithm which change values of decision variables and determining alternative by using the stopping algorithm which end the simulation in the steady state of system. In order to prevent the loss of data when we analyze the acquired design alternative in the steady state we provide the background of the estimation of the autoregressive model and mean and confidence interval for evaluating correctly the objective function obtained by the small amount of output data through the short time period simulation.
