Studied was a strategic plan for the Korean High-Speed Train system to penetrate the Chinese railway market in exchange of the technology of KHST. Firstly, taken was a glance at Chinese Government plans to extend total length of his railway lines and to construct the Beijing~Shanghai high-speed railway line. Then, disparity of railway technology in Korea and China was reviewed. From the review, SWOT Analysis were carried out to penetrate the foreign markets. Countermeasures to cope with SWOT were also considered. Strategical governmental supports and the establishment of the special organization to be in charge of penetration of KHST into foreign markets were proposed. Finally, also proposed was the transfer of KHST technology to Chinese counterparts in exchange of tangible benefits for Korean side. The benefits may include (1) adoption of KHST as the type of rolling stock for the Beijing~Shanghai line, (2) guarantee of participation in the project and royalty for the KHST technology used for the future high-speed railway line construction, (3) prior written approval and partnership when making its way to third country, and (4) participation of Korean construction companies in Chinese railway construction project, etc. Adoption of KHST in China indeed gives chance to integrate the high-speed railway network after reunification of Korean peninsular, and enhance the economic ties between two countries.

Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is a novel interleukin (IL)-7-like cytokine and was originally discovered in the supernatant of a murine thymic stromal cell line. TSLP signal initiates via complex of the TSLP receptor and the IL-7 receptor α chain. TSLP expression is closely connected with many diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma, inflammatory arthritis, eosinophilic esophagitis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel diseases, and cancer. In this review, I discussed biological roles of TSLP on mast cell-mediated allergic responses. In addition, this review summarizes the effective drugs in allergic-inflammatory reactions induced by TSLP on mast cells.

There are many plating methods already commercially employed in te surface technology. One of the plating methods is electroless (chemical) plating, which is deposited by auto-catalytic reduction of metallic ion with the reducing agent in the plating bath. And it has many advantages comparing with electrolytic plating in respect of properties of deposit, such as corrosion resistance, wear resistance, uniformity, hardness, adhesion and so on. So, electroless plating is the fatest growing process in metallization of plastic and electronic industry. The properties and numerous applications of electroless deposits are attracting more and more attention from finish specifies. Many metal finishers are considering set-up of new electroless line in their shops. This review will be beneficial to domestic metal finishers to understand the real status of present electroless plating technology. It will also provide some knowledge on the economic aspect of electroless plating for the commercial application of specific parts.

Power electronic systems such as switching power supplies are accounted as noise sources for other sensitive circuits. EMI caused by power converters can disturb the normal operation of the converter and other adjacent systems. Major research is concentrated on EMI mitigation for power converters in which the main concern is compliance with EMC standards to ensure proper operation of converters and nearby systems. This paper reviews EMI reduction techniques related to switching power converters with emphasis on the conducted EMI. A comprehensive review of significant research works is performed and various methods are thoroughly discussed and compared. Also, a classification of methods is presented. Moreover, converter prototypes are realized which contain several EMI mitigation techniques and their effects are presented via experimental results.

Dental local anesthesia is performed daily on a global scale. Adverse effects are rare, but the topic of neurotoxicity of local anesthetics deserves to be explored, as publications can be controversial and confusing. Therefore, a need was felt to address and question the evidence for potential neurotoxicity of dental local anesthetics. This review aimed to assess the studies published on the neurotoxicity of dental local anesthetics. A Pubmed^Ⓡ search was conducted between January 2019 and August 2019. This revealed 2802 hits on the topic of neurotoxicity or cytotoxicity of the following anesthetics: lidocaine, prilocaine, mepivacaine, articaine, ropivacaine, and bupivacaine. Only 23 papers were deemed eligible for this review: 17 in vitro studies, 3 reviews and 3 audits of national inquiries. The heterogeneous literature on this topic showed that all dental local anesthetics are potentially neurotoxic in a concentration and/or exposure time fashion. There seems no consensus about what cell lines are to be used to investigate the neurotoxicity of local anesthetics, which makes the comparison between studies difficult and ambiguous. However, the bottom line is that all dental local anesthetics have a neurotoxic potential, but that there is no unanimity in the publications about which local anesthetic is the least or the most neurotoxic.

Investigators planning to use animals in their research and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) members who review the research protocols must take personal responsibility for ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties, applying the Three Rs principles of Russell and Burch. The two Korean laws introduced in 2008 and 2009 regulating animal use for scientific purposes in line with the Three Rs principles have been revised a total of 11 times over the last 6 years. Both regulatory agencies, e.g., the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, provide regular training based on the legal requirements. Based on the amended Animal Welfare Act, the IACUC appointment framework has been upgraded: appointments are now for two-year terms and require a qualified training certificate issued by the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency since 2012. The authors reviewed the current curricular programs and types of training conducted by the two governing agencies through Internet searches. Our Internet survey results suggest that: a) diversity should be provided in training curricula, based on the roles, backgrounds and needs of the individual trainees; b) proper and continued educational programs should be provided, based on trainees' experiences; and c) active encouragement by government authorities can improve the quality of training curricula.

Three species of the genus Sciota Hulst, 1888 are recognized from Northeast China: Sciota cynicella (Christoph, 1881), Sciota fumella (Eversmann, 1844), and Sciota adelphella (Fischer von R$\ddot{o} $slerstamm, 1836), of which Sciota cynicella (Christoph, 1881) is reported for the first time from China. This species can be distinguished from congeners by the gray color of basal area, the straight antemedial line and the distinct postmedial line on the forewing; by the stout aedeagus in male genitalia. In this study, a key to Northeastern Chinese species of genus Sciota is presented, and the illustrations of adults and genitalia are also provided.

전자상거래의 과세문제 중 상당부분은 국제조세와 관련되어 있다. 그러나 국제조세체계는 우리의 의지만으로 되는 것이 아니며, 기존의 상거래 분야에서의 강국이었던 미국이 전 세계경제질서에 막대한 영향을 미쳤듯이 전자상거래 분야에서도 마찬가지이다. 세계경제질서를 실질적으로 주도하고 있는 미국은 힘의 우위를 바탕으로 on-line 거래는 물론 off-line 거래 분야에서도 점진적으로 무관세를 주장하는 입장이다. 자본의 순수출국과 순수입국의 중간자적 입장에 있는 우리가 대처할 방안으로는 미국만이 내세우는 분야가 있으면, 이를 전략적으로 OECD회원국들과 공동적인 보조를 맞춰 나가고, 반대로 우리의 국익에 도움이 되는 분야는 이를 적극 주장하여 다른 회원국들의 이해를 구하는 협상력이 필요할 것이다. 전자상거래와 관련한 조세문제에 대하여 가장 핵심적인 전제는, 전자기술의 진보 국제적인 합의 및 납세자의 협력이라고 할 수 있다. 제반 분야가 조성될 수 있도록 정부당국은 세심한 검토와 지원이 있어야 할 것이다. 그리고 국내 전자상거래 시장이 비약적으로 확대 발전하고 있으므로 과세제도 측면에서 보완해야 할 점을 찾아내어 과세누락을 최소화하여야 하며, 다른 한편으로는 전자상거래를 활성화시키고 촉진시키기 위해 세제 및 세정상 지원방안도 강구해야 할 것이다.
