An electric scooter with a V-belt continuously variable transmission (CVT) driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has a lot of nonlinear and time-varying characteristics, and accurate dynamic models are difficult to establish for linear controller designs. A PMSM servo-drive electric scooter controlled by a novel hybrid modified recurrent Legendre neural network (NN) control system is proposed to solve difficulties of linear controllers under the occurrence of nonlinear load disturbances and parameters variations. Firstly, the system structure of a V-belt CVT driven electric scooter using a PMSM servo drive is established. Secondly, the novel hybrid modified recurrent Legendre NN control system, which consists of an inspector control, a modified recurrent Legendre NN control with an adaptation law, and a recouped control with an estimation law, is proposed to improve its performance. Moreover, the on-line parameter tuning method of the modified recurrent Legendre NN is derived according to the Lyapunov stability theorem and the gradient descent method. Furthermore, two optimal learning rates for the modified recurrent Legendre NN are derived to speed up the parameter convergence. Finally, comparative studies are carried out to show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme through experimental results.

The conventional fixed gain PI controller is very sensitive to step change of command speed, parameter variation and load disturbances. The precise speed control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) drive becomes a complex issue due to nonlinear coupling among its winding currents and the rotor speed as well as the nonlinear electromagnetic developed torque. Therefore, there exists a need to tune the PI controller parameters on-line to ensure optimum drive performance over a wide range of operating conditions. This paper is proposed artificial intelligent-PI(AIPI) controller of IPMSM drive using adaptive learning mechanism(ALM) and fuzzy neural network(FNN). The proposed controller is developed to ensure accurate speed control of IPMSM drive under system disturbances and estimation of speed using artificial neural network(ANN) controller. The PI controller parameters are optimized by ALM-FNN at all possible operating condition in a closed loop vector control scheme. The validity of the proposed controller is verified by results at different dynamic operating conditions.
Background: Human body is formed of symmetric bilateral structures that are comprised of eye, upper arm, lower arm and etc. but, we are used only dominant components. The purpose of this study was to analysis length cognition ability in dominant eye & hand. Method: Total 180 persons (male 32, female 138) were participated in this study. They were tested with 'hole in the card' test for identification of dominant eye's side and the question for identification of dominant hand's side, then the length cognition ability was measured in right & left axillary level by describing 10cm line. Results: The results by independent t-test were as follows. In difference of length cognition ability in right axillary level between right dominant eyed group & left dominant eyed group, right dominant eyed group was superior to left dominant eyed group, but significant difference was not existed statistically(p>.05). In left axillary level, right dominant eyed group was superior to left dominant eyed group, but significant difference was not existed statistically(p>.05). In axillary level of dominant eye's side, non-crossed group was superior to crossed group, but significant difference was not existed statistically(p>.05). In axillary level of non-dominant eye's side, non-crossed group was superior to crossed group, but significant difference was not existed statistically(p>.05). Conclusion: These result can be applied to the learning of palpation & observation skill in physical therapy.

Purpose: To describe nursing students' experience of sexual harassment during clinical practicum. Methods: An interpretive phenomenological qualitative approach was used to understand contextual experiences of participants. Individual in-depth interviews were conducted to collect data from thirteen nursing students who experienced sexual harassment during clinical practice in general hospitals at D metropolitan city. All interviews were recorded and transcribed into Korean and English. Transcripts were analyzed using the data analysis method described by Diekelmann, Allen, and Tanner. Results: The following 12 themes emerged from the data: 'unprepared to respond', 'lack of education', 'unsure about when behavior crosses the line', 'power differential for nursing students', 'balancing self-preservation with obligations to patients', 'shame', 'feeling responsible for not being able to prevent the harassment', 'impact on patient care', 'fear of what might have happened', 'fear of repercussions', 'long term impact', and 'peer support'. Conclusion: Participants in this study described feeling an obligation to care for their patients. However, they seemed to be unable to balance this while feeling vulnerable to sexual harassment with strong negative feelings. Helping students recognize and effectively deal with sexual harassment is a critical element to assure quality learning for participants and maintain quality of care during clinical practice.

This paper proposes an easy algorithm for finding tapped-delay-line (TDL) filter coefficients in an adaptive filter algorithm using orthogonal input signals. The proposed algorithm can be used to obtain the coefficients and errors of a TDL filter without using an inverse orthogonalization process for the orthogonal input signals. The form of the proposed algorithm in this paper has the advantages of being easy to use and similar to the familiar recursive least-squares (RLS) algorithm. In order to evaluate the proposed algorithm, system identification simulation of the $11^{th}$-order finite-impulse-response (FIR) filter was performed. It is shown that the convergence characteristics of the learning curve and the tracking ability of the coefficient vectors are similar to those of the conventional RLS analysis. Also, the derived equations and computer simulation results ensure that the proposed algorithm can be used in a similar manner to the Levinson-Durbin algorithm.

Based on the MOU between Chosun University and Daegu University, this study was conducted with the aim of exploring the operation strategy of a extracurricular education program on the theme of lifelong education for the disabled in community connection. In front-line university sites, extracurricular education programs are often recognized as forms and procedures to assist in subject learning at the major or liberal arts level, but they have a very important status and identity considering that they are classified as "learning competency reinforcement support", "career psychological counseling support", "employment and start-up support", "subject-linked extracurricular education". Accordingly, the extracurricular education programs has the nature and advantage of covering not only the level of the one-time trend program itself, but also various community -linked problem-solving learning, including students' major learning and employment linkage. As part of the above, this study aims to present a strategy for the operation of a extracurricular education programs with the main theme and content of "lifelong education for the disabled" by viewing Chosun University and Daegu University. The contents of the study were largely presented as "organizational operation strategy between two universities," "operation strategy of curriculum between two universities," and "comprehensive system for extracurricular education programs operation of lifelong education for the disabled between the two universities". First, the first research content, "Organized Operation Strategy between Two Universities," was schematized in detail the process of collaborating and communicating with Chosun University's center of extracurricular activities, Daegu University Lifelong Education Center, and other committees and departments. The second research content, "The Curriculum Operation Strategy between Two Universities", is a detailed schematic diagram of the learning contents, methods, and procedures to be organized in the extracurricular education program. The third study, "Comprehensive System of extracurricular education program Operation for Lifelong Education for the Disabled between Two Universities," presents the results of synthesizing the basis elements essential for operating the extracurricular education program at the level of a roadmap. As a result of the study, it was possible to see the project tasks that could be promoted in-depth through the operation of a extracurricular education program on lifelong education for the disabled through the MOU between the two universities.
The present study proposes and examines a new type of multiple-choice math test. In this format, the options are the intermediate derivatives of the math problem solution process rather than the final answers. This idea originates from the studies on the effect of worked-out examples. In these studies, it has been shown that students learn better when they were presented with worked-out examples than when presented with final answers by themselves. In line with these findings, we introduced the intermediate derivatives of the solution process as the options of multiple-choice items so that the test-taker will have a chance to examine the solution process. The test was implemented as a computerized test in which students can solve problems in a short answer format, and then pick a multiple-choice option which appears when requested. The experimental group had multiple-choice options which were intermediate derivatives of the solution process, and the control group had the final answers as the options as in most multiple-choice tests. The participants were 6th graders in elementary school. The posttest results revealed that the average score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. The results suggest that tests that use intermediate derivatives of the problem solution process as options can be used as learning tools in the classrooms. Finally, directions for further studies were discussed.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the scaffolding processes of children in mathematical problem solving. 3 groups of 4th grade students participated in the study and the researchers proceeded the study for 4 months. The procedures of this research were as followings. First, when the learners solved the problems, the categories of scaffolding processes(by way of unit line coding belong in open codings, the categories were made 25 concepts and integrated 20 subcategories) were produced the 7 results: invite to the learning, set the problems, affective aids, attempt self learning, re-ordering between learners and affirmation self learning. Second, the processes of scaffolding in mathematic problem solving resulted in condition, the present condition, action/interaction and the outcomes. Third, the cognitive and affective aids that discovered in the scaffolding processes were considered the main categories of learner's scaffolding processes in solving the mathematic problems. In conclusion, first, the learners' scaffolding processes, based on Vygotsky's "the zone of proximal development" in selection and presentation of mathematic problems, are very diverse. Peers' affective aids are very important in solving the problems. Second, learners in the scaffolding processes exchange the cognitive and affective aids with each other with joy and earnestness, and the aids can give assistance to all the participants. Third, in the results of observation and analysis in learners' scaffolding processes, it is meaningful to know how they think. Finally, the learners' scaffolding processes are a little unsystematic and illogical compared to those of adults, but those of scaffolders are so similar to those of learners' cognitive and affective systems that they can provide teachers with many merits in understanding and teaching learners.
