RESEARCH ON MODULARIZED DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT BASED ON MULTI-DRIVER OFF-ROAD VEHICLE DRIVING-LINE

  • The multi-driver off-road vehicle drive-line consists of many components, with close connections among them. In order to design and analyze the drive-line efficiently, a modular methodology should be taken. The aim of a modular approach to the modeling of complex systems is to support behavior analysis and simulation in an iterative and thus complex engineering process, by using encapsulated submodels of components and of their interfaces. Multi-driver off-road vehicles are comparatively complicated. The driving-line is an important core part to the vehicle, it has a significant contribution to the performance. Multi-driver off-road vehicles have complex driving-lines, so performance is heavily dependent on the driving-line. A typical off-road vehicle's driving-line system consists of a torque converter, transmission, transfer case and driving-axles, which transfers the power generated by the engine and distributes it effectively to the driving wheels according to the road condition. According to its main function, this paper proposes a modularized approach for design and evaluation of the vehicle's driving-line. It can be used to effectively estimate the performance of the driving-line during the concept design stage. Through an appropriate analysis and assessment method, an optimal design can be reached. This method has been applied to practical vehicle design, it can improve the design efficiency and is convenient to assess and validate the performance of a vehicle, especially of multi-driver off-road vehicles.

  • Recently, the principal processes of T/L design tend to computerize and therefore integrated T/L design system has been developed. Since, it makes the automatic selection of T/L route, tower position and optimum design possible, computerized design method is applied all over the world. KEPCO introduced Optimal PowerLINE for T/L design in Myanmar 500kV project that is as a part of overseas project. And as a result of that work, effective and economical design was carried out. This paper presents the comparative analysis between Previous method and Optimal PowerLINE method for investigating practical application to Myanmar 500kV T/L design.

  • In this paper, we introduce a procedure to obtain a equivalent circuit of comb-line band pass filter. By employing equivalent circuits of each asymmetrical coupled line. we composed the full equivalent circuit of comb-line bandpass filter and derived simple design equations for extracting each line's impedance. To show the validity of design equations, we simulated and fabricated a planar type comb-line bandpass filter, which has center frequency 1.8㎓, band-width 50㎒ and four resonators. The resulting filter is very compact, have broad stop band with the second pass band centered at four times the center frequency of the first pass band. The experimental results show exact performances of design specification.

  • This paper introduces a new concept - on-line FE model, as applied to metal rolling. The new technology allows for completion of process simulation within a tiny fraction of a second without loss of high-level prediction accuracy inherent to FEM. The three steps of an on-line FE model design namely, process metamorphosis, mesh design, and process variable design, are described in detail. The procedure is demonstrated step by step through designing actual on-line models for the prediction of the dog-bone profile in edge rolling. The validity and prediction accuracy of the on-line FE models are analyzed and discussed.

직물의 종류와 특성에 따른 온라인과 오프라인에서의 의복소재 이미지 비교 (The Comparison of Fabric Images between On-line and Off-line by Fabric Types and Characteristics)

  • This research was designed to compare clothing fabric images between on- and off-line by fabric types and its characteristics. 125 subjects who have a fashion design major evaluated the fabric image of various 16 kinds of specimens on- and off-line. Frequency, x2-test, t-test, and Pearson correlation were used for statistical analysis by SPSS WIN 11.0. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The advantage of on-line shopping includes low price and purchasing convenience, etc. On-line shoppers mostly purchase clothing items, such as T-shirt and slacks. In most cases, texture of fabrics provides a main cause for the shoppers' discontentment with internet shopping. 2. The results of t-test for the difference of the evaluation score show that plain or pile weave and highly thick or thin fabrics-for example, Organdy, Corduroy, Nylon Taffeta, Plush, etc.-have a large difference between on-and off-line image. On the other hand, medium-thick twill weave-for example, Tweed, Flannel, etc.-or patterned weave-Chiffon, Dobby fabric, etc.-shows a small difference. 3. The results of correlation of the evaluation score indicate that wool twill fabrics like Tweed, Saxony, and Polafleece show a high correlation between two kinds of evaluation score. In texture preference, no correlation exists between on-line and off-line. 4. With an analysis on fabric image evaluation by fabric characteristics, smooth, shiny pink Satin was found the most positively-evaluated item in all evaluation fields except in pattern preference and individuality. On the other hand, thick olive green Corduroy was evaluated most negatively in the fields of elegance, luxury, and feminine. 5. When compared with real ones, thin fabrics provide a different on-line fabric image. For example, Nylon Taffeta and Organdy were evaluated positively on-line because of luster and pastel tone color. However, lusterless uneven cotton Seersucker was evaluated negatively. 6. Real fabrics preference is more negative than on-line ones. In addition, patterned or unique fabrics display a high agreement between the two kinds of images.

직물의 구조와 감각특성에 따른 온라인과 오프라인에서의 주관적 태평가 비교 (The Comparison of Subjective Evaluation of Band between On-line and Off-line by Structure and Sensibilities of Fabric)

  • This research was designed to compare the subjective evaluation of Hand between on- and off-line by structure and sensible characteristics of fabric. 113 subjects who have a fashion design major evaluated the subjective evaluation of Hand of various 16 kinds of specimens on- and off-line. T-test and pearson correlation coefficient were used for statistical analysis by SPSS WIN 11.0. The results of this study were as follows: The results of correlation analysis of the evaluation score indicated that Crash and Satin show high correlation between two kinds of evaluation score. But, fabrics which have distinct characteristics such as Plush, Dobby, Seersucker represented low correlation coefficient. The results of t-test fer the difference of the evaluation score showed that thin fabrics like Organdy represent a large difference between on- and off-line evaluation. On the other hand, twill weaved fabrics like Drill, Tweed, Saxony did not show many differences. Analysing each item in terms of correlation of evaluation of hand between on- and off-line gave results that the shininess was most deliverable through on-line and density and the dryness was not so deliverable through on-line. Comparison of evaluation score between on- and off-line items showed that the estimation to real fabric is more negative than that of on-line. The results of most preferable hand between on-and off-line showed exact opposite preference between shinny, smooth and soft Satin and rough, woolen Tweed. Organdy showed the most different subjective evaluation of hand in real ones compared with that of on-line.

온라인 게임 캐릭터 복식 색채와 패션 트렌드 색채의 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of On-Line Game Characters' Costumes and Fashion Trend Color)

  • The purpose of this study is to come up with ways that cooperate between on-line game design and fashion design by analyzing trend color and on-line game character's costume color in on-line game. As for the research methodology, First, on-line games were selected with reference to www.ranky.com. Second, 2009 SS trend color palettes suggested by Copenhagen International Fashion Fair was used as a criterion of fashion trend. Third, on-line game character's costume colors were analyzed in relation to the degree of reflection of trend and the game character's type. The results are as follows. Each on-line game character costume's colors were made in accordance with typical character types. But we can find a one-to-one correspondence between fashion trend colors and game character costume's colors. That's because both trends and character types are the results of the continuing interactions between human-beings and societies. In comparison with fashion trend colors, game character costume colors are partly raw and inharmonious. Therefore, it is necessary to apply fashion trend color in game character costume design for enhancing competitiveness in the world market.

온라인 콘텐츠 공유플랫폼 'XELF'의 만족도 조사 및 향후 적용방안에 대한 접근방법 연구 (A Study on the Satisfaction Survey of the Online Content Sharing Platform 'XELF' and Methods of Application Method)

  • The study has been initiated on the background of rapidly changing environment, and from the perspectives that new ecological systems are continuously generated accordingly in various fields. Recently, ICT platform, which is the platform related to information communication, has drawn much attention, and many tools are being made that can design and implement documents in a specific on-line space by utilizing UI/UX authoring tools for on-line contents sharing platforms which are public platforms for industrial and educational uses. Following these trends, actual building environment for 'XElF', a newly developed on-line contents sharing platform, and actual design proposal for UI/UX authoring tools will be described according to the sequences of building the platform. Before this design proposal is actually utilized in the future, opinions have been collected from related persons through an actual survey. Efforts are being made to reduce problems, which can be generated in the future in the actual on-line contents education environment, through the results of the study so that the platform can be produced without errors. The final results for this matter are planned to be posted by papers in the future.
