ISO 9000 has brought about significant positive effects to the quality management system and quality improvement. This paper develops effective and flexible ISO 9000 quality system based on telecommunication manufactured goods with CSU(Channel Service Unit), ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line), Fiber Optic Multiplexer, HDSL(High-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line), FDSU(Flexible Data Service Unit), 73 DSU(Digital Service Unit). The case studies of venture telecommunication corporation in establishing ISO 9000 qualify system are also discussed.

The advantages of implementing a virtual channel can be derived from the notion of the 'death of distance' that would result from electronic commerce. According to this view, the internet was going to make distance irrelevant, in that firms would no longer need to establish a physical presence in a geographical location in order to do business there. However, on-line firms selling physical products could take advantages of presence in the related off-line(brick and mortar) industrial area. This paper developed a conceptual framework that highlights the various types of synergies by location on-line businesses in the related off-line industrial area. Using data from 96 on-line ventures selling physical products, factor analysis was used to figuring out six synergies including improved customer trust, value-added service, cost savings, personnel and organizational efficiency, sharing products and customer information, relationship with suppliers, and relationship with local government. The six empirically derived critical synergy factors were then used to examine how they improve performance of the on-line ventures measured by Balanced Scorecard(BSC). According to lthe results, we concluded that the on-line firms selling physical products can take advantages of presence in the related off-line industrial area.

현대 지식 정보화 사회에서 컴퓨터 기술을 활용한 창의적 사고(思考)가 매우 중요한다. 다양한 정보기술을 어떤 방법으로 도출하고 활용하느냐에 따라 경제적, 사회적, 문화적으로 윤택한 생활을 영위할 수 있다. 광대역 종합정보통신네트워크의 발달과 더불어 온라인(On-line)에서 새로운 아이디어 프로그램은 다양한 산업분야에 활용될 수 있으며, 네트워크상의 상호작용으로 인한 시너지 효과는 멀티미디어정보서비스 산업을 더욱 발전시킬 수 있다. 본 논문은 지식 정보화 사회의 통합교육(장애인, 비장애인 대학생)에서 집단적 아이디어 발상을 통하여 문제해결 능력을 키우기 위하여 네트워크상에서 상호간의 창의적 사고 과정을 진행함으로서 오프라인(Off-line)에서의 산업디자인 개발에 대한 문제점들을 보안하고 해결하고자 한다. 첫째로, 온 오프라인에서의 통합교육학생들의 창의적 집단 아이디어 발상에 대한 방법을 비교 분석한다. 둘째로, 온 오프라인에서 아이디어 발상량을 분석하여 팀원간의 의사소통과 정보전달의 수단으로 이용하는 어플리케이션에 대한 발상적 사고요인을 연구한다. 이와 같은 연구를 통해서 IT(Information Technology) 기반의 창의적 집단 발상 교육이 통합교육에 차별화된 콘텐츠로 활용할 수 있도록 한다.

Due to limited resource, marine communication is severely limited when compared to communications in land. Radio relay facilities, etc. based on a wired network through a long distance communication is possible. In addition, the aircraft is in the air, the ground-based network service based on long-range straight-line distance and elevation (LOS: Line of Sight) communications. On the other hand, the distance in a straight line to the sea, the sea level because communication is limited or through satellite, underwater communications relay equipment installed in the communication scheme has been investigated.. In this paper, using TCP-based real-time joint maritime security communication links were studied. Harsh marine environment, real-time communication that can provide secure communications and propose a LINK joint. In this study, more secure, and convenient communications at sea, a plan was presented to you.

IT technology based projects was conducted to implement education on producing creative ideas through on-line education and grasp thinking disposition of students in terms of creativity education efficiency. The differences in idea creation among students according to thinking dispositions were analyzed through qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation of project and its result was drawn. The purpose of this study was to help cultivate a man of ability who will make a great contribution to knowledge information society by proposing education model based on new method of teaching and learning.

The purpose of this study is to suggest some improvements of information service on the Internet through a comparative analysis of information use patterns of science and technology researchers in universities, research institutes and business enterprises. We classify information use patterns into information use purpose, information use types, a frequently used/referenced portal site, the initial method of internet search, information service selection factors and the channels of off-line information acquisition. The results of this study are as follows: First, according to frequency analysis, there are some information use patterns among S & T research groups. Second, according to ${\chi}^2$ analysis, there are some significant differences in ratio of information use patterns among them.

It is necessary for the engineering students to have a business mind for the contemporary world of business. We developed a focused management education program for engineering students in C-University. The management education program consists of both on-line and off-line learning. ABEEK requires 720 engineering students of C-University must take basic management course. The on-line lecture was developed to overcome the shortage of qualified lecturers in business school. On-line lecture made by the business school faculty(not lecturers) can evenly provide high-quality content for every engineering students. In addition, the program is designed that off-line classes administered by lecturers complements the limitations of on-line lecture. Having in mind that selected senior engineering students understand technology and basic business, we developed an advanced course focusing on technology-oriented venture businesses. On and off-line blended learning and two-step approach of management education for engineering students of C-University may shed some light on other engineering schools in similar situation.

Recently, many internet firms have opted the strategic alliances with other on/off-line firms in order to gain and sustain their competitive advantages. Previous research on market reaction to such alliances, however, shows mixed results. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to analyze the announcement effects of the alliances among internet firms in the stock market. Focusing on on-line firms that have been outside the scope of previous research, this study applied the event study methodology and examined the cumulative abnormal returns(CAR) for 245 alliance announcements between October 1998 and May 2002. Further, this study conducted a survey to categorize various types of announcements and 40 usable returns has been analyzed. The notable results from this study include: 1) The strategic alliances announcements do not have statistically positive effects on stock prices of the announcing firms. 2) Contrary to the results of the previous research, the CARs associated with marketing alliances are higher than those with technology alliances. 3) The degree of fitness among firms' disposition, their alliance purpose, and alliance type chosen influences the performance of their alliances.

The new type of prefabricated joint for 161kV XLPE cable have been developed. we, LG Cable & Machinery Ltd., made an huge contract with an foreign country's Power company for the supply of cable and accessories, the training of jointing and termination work to local personnel, technical assistance by joint venture and the supervision of installation and commissioning. By the end of 1997, one of several routes under the contract successfully finished being constructed and specially tested on site. In operation, now this underground transmission line proves well the reliability and efficiency of prefabricated joint and termination applied first time in foreign country.
