방사선치료 장치 및 관련시설에서의 산란 중성자에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Neutron in Radiation Treatment System and Related Facility)

  • 목 적 : 일반적으로 10 MV이상의 광자선에서 산란 중성자를 발생시키는 것으로 알려져 있다. 세관에 설치된 컨테이너 검색장치는 9 MV 이하였음에도 중성자가 누출되었다. 본 연구에서 의료기관에 설치된 방사선 치료기에서 산란 방출되는 중성자의 공간적인 측정을 통해 결과를 분석하고 평가하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : 본 연구의 방사선 발생장치는 의료용 선형가속기(linear accelerator, linac: Varian, Clinac 1800, USA)를 사용하였다. 중성자 측정용 검출기는 중성자가 발생하면 기포(bubble)이 생기는 Bubble 검출기(Bubble detector, BDPND type, BTI, Canada)를 사용하였다. 의료용 선형가속기 주변에 Bubble 검출기를 isocenter로부터 30 cm, 50 cm, 120 cm의 각각 3가지 거리별로 isocenter 상하 방향 네 곳에 위치시켜 측정하였다. 주변 구조물의 영향을 살펴보기 위해 Wedge와 Mount를 장착 후 50 cm 거리에서 각각 8방향에서 측정하였다. 광자선원부터 isocenter 까지의 거리(SAD: source-axis-distance)를 100 cm로 기준을 정하고 조사면의 크기(field size)는 $15{\times}15cm^2$로 정하였다. 방사선은 20 MU를 조사하여 Bubble 검출기에 발생한 기포수를 측정하며 mrem값으로 계산하였다. 결 과 : Isocenter부터 거리가 30 cm와 50 cm 떨어진 곳의 각각 8개 측정 지점 중에서는 모두 5번 위치(Gantry 우측 아래지점)에서 측정된 산란중성자의 양이 같은 거리라도 가장 높게 측정되었다. Bubble 검출기가 Isocenter부터 120 cm 떨어진 경우와 wedge를 장착한 경우는 7번 위치(Couch 우측 아래지점), mount 탈착한 경우는 2번 위치(Gantry 왼쪽 윗지점)에서 산란 중성자가 가장 높게 측정되었다. 결 론 : 산란중성자의 측정에서 직선상 같은 거리에 있는 곳이라도, 실제 측정한 결과 값에 따르면 서로 상이한 값을 보였다. 주변 구조물도 산란 중성자에 영향을 미치며, 직선상은 같은 거리라도 각각의 지점에서 다른 값을 보였다. 따라서, 산란중성자의 거리에 따른 영향은 단순히 직선으로의 거리뿐 아니라 방향과 주변 구조물에 대한 영향까지 고려하며 공간적인 측정과 평가가 필요하다.

식초절임 무의 HACCP 시스템 적용을 위한 미생물학적 위해 분석 (Microbiological Hazard Analysis for HACCP System Application to Vinegared Pickle Radishes)

  • 본 연구는 식초절임 무의 HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)시스템 구축을 위하여 생물학적 위해요소분석을 위한 목적으로 2012년 2월 1일~6월 31일까지 약 150일 동안 수행하였다. 일반적인 식초절임 무 제조업체의 제조공정을 참고로 하여 공정도를 작성하였으며, 식초절임 무의 원료 농산물(무), 용수, 첨가물과 포장재료에 입고, 보관, 정선, 세척, 표피제거, 절단, 선별, 충진, 내포장, 금속검출, 외포장, 보관 및 출하공정에 대하여 작성하였다. 원료 무의 세척 전, 세척 후의 Coliform group, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella spp., Bacillus cereus, Listeria Monocytogenes, E. coli O157:H7, Clostridium perfringens, Yeast 와 Mold를 측정한 결과 Bacillus cereus는 세척 전 $5.00{\times}10$ CFU/g이었으나, 세척 후 검출되지 않았으며, Yeast 와 Mold 는 세척 전 $3.80{\times}10^2$ CFU/g, 세척 후 10 CFU/g로 감소되었으며 나머지 병원성균은 검출되지 않았다. 조미액의 pH(2~5)별 미생물의 변화를 시험한 결과 모든 균이 검출되지 않은 pH 3~4를 조미액의 pH로 결정하였다. 작업장별 공중낙하균 (일반세균수, 대장균, 진균수) 시험결과 내포장실, 조미액가공실, 세척실, 보관실의 미생물수는 10 CFU/Plate, 2 CFU/Plate, 60 CFU/Plate 그리고 20 CFU/Plate 가 검출되었다. 종사자 손바닥 시험결과 일반세균수 346 $CFU/Cm^2$, 대장균군 23 $CFU/Cm^2$로 높게 나타나 개인위생관리에 대한 교육 및 훈련이 요구 되었다. 제조설비 및 기구의 표면오염도를 검사한 결과 모든 시료에서 대장균군은 검출되지 않았고, 일반세균은 PP Packing machin과 Siuping machine (PE Bulk)에서 가장 많은 $4.2{\times}10^3CFU/Cm^2$, $2.6{\times}10^3CFU/Cm^2$ 검출되었다. 위의 위해분석 결과 병원성미생물을 예방, 감소 또는 제거할 수 있는 조미액 가공 공정이 CCP-B (Biological)로 관리되어야 하고, 한계기준은 pH 3~4로 결정하였다. 따라서 전통한과생산에의 HACCP 모델 적용을 위한 미생물학적 위해도 평가에서와 같이 조미액 가공 공정의 관리기준 및 이탈시 조치방법, 검증방법, 교육 훈련과 기록관리 등 철저한 HACCP 관리계획이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

고유수용성 신경근 촉진법 통합패턴이 요통환자의 균형에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Total Patterns of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation on Balance Improvement in Patients with Low back pain)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to find out The effect of Low back pain on the total pattens of Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation(PNF). Methods : The subjects of the study were 62 low back pain patients. They were divided into two groups: 31 in the experimental group and 31 in the control group. the experimental group performed modalities and PNF total patterns three times for a week. the control group performed only modalities and ROM exercise three times for a week. Back muscle strength was measured by a back muscle strength measuring machine, the intensity of pain was measured by the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and the level of disability was measured by Oswestry low back pain disability index. Study measurements were compared before and after 6 weeks exercise program. The two groups of subjects were assessed by utilizing two different balance measurement: Static standing balance was measured by balance performance monitor (BPM) and Dynamic standing balance was measured by one leg standing(OLS). The scale for static standing balance was measured by using, sway area, sway path, max velocity. Results : The results of this study were as follow: 1) The score on visual analogue scale shows statistically significant increase on PNF group of post test(p<.05). 2) The score on Oswestry low back pain disability index. shows statistically significant decrease on PNF group of post test(p<.05). 3) The change sway area was statistically significant on pre-test and post-test(p<.05). 4) The change sway path was statistically significant on pre-test and post-test(p<.05). 5) The change max velocity was statistically significant on pre-test and post-test(p<.05). 6) The score on one leg standing shows statistically significant increase on PNF group of post test(p<.05). Conclusion : These results of this study indicated that Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Total patterns which performed for six weeks had a statistically significant influence on low back pain. If the exercise for muscle strength is performed along with therapeutic stabilizing exercise, a better effect can be expected on low back pain. We hope that this study will provide a basic data for further research with a bigger group and on a long-term effect.

자연 치관과 포세린 치관상에서 교정용 브라켓 부착시 전단 결합 강도와 파절 양상에 관한 비교 연구 (A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE SHEAR BOND STRENGTH AND ADHESIVE FAILURE PATTERN OF METAL BRACKETS BONDED ON NATURAL TEETH AND PORCELAIN TEETH)

  • 치아 우식증과 침식증의 진단과 본 연구는 교정용 밴드 사용의 대안으로 제시된 직접 부착 술식이 보철 치료를 받은 치아상에서도 적절한 결합 강도를 갖으면서 임상적으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있는지를 평가하고, 불산과 포세린 전처리제의 사용 여부에 따른 결합 강도와 접착 파절 양상의 차이에 대해 알아보고자 시행하였다. 사람의 상하악 소구치 치관 20개를 대조군으로, 소구치의 협면을 복제한 포세린 치관 80개를 실험군으로 나눈 후, 대조군은 37% 인산으로 산부식한 후 Transbond $XT^{(R)}$를 이용하여 금속 브라켓을 접착하였고, 실험군들은 모두 포세린 치관에 통상적으로 sandblasting 처리를 하되, 9.6% 불산으로 4분간 부식처리를 함께 한 군, 포세린 전처리제를 적용한 군, 마지막으로 sandblasting과 불산 그리고 포세린 전처리제를 모두 적용한 군으로 20개씩 나눈 후 금속 브라켓을 접착하였다. 각 군간 전단 결합 강도와 접착 파절 양상을 비교하여 관찰한 결과, 포세린 치관에 금속 브라켓을 접착할 시, 기존의 비심미적인 밴드를 사용하지 않더라도 sandblasting과 불산 그리고 포세린 전처리제를 이용한 직접 부착 술식으로 임상적으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

알루미늄합금 재료의 산화막 형성이 피로거동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Oxide Film Formation on the Fatigue Behavior of Aluminum Alloy)

  • 본 논문에서는 알루미늄 7075-T6 재료의 부식 기간별 표면 산화막 형성이 피로거동에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 사용된 알루미늄 재료는 부식에 대한 부동태화 현상으로 부식저항 특성이 높은 금속으로 알려져 있다. 알루미늄 합금은 다른 재료에 비해 가볍고 강한 재료 특성 때문에 항공기 부품 산업과 같은 다양한 산업분야에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 때문에 부식에 대한 재료의 피로거동 특성과 부식에 대한 부동태화 특성에 대한 연구가 요구된다. 4절점 회전 굽힘 시험기를 사용하여 부식 기간별 재료의 피로거동 특성을 확인하였고, 표면 거칠기를 측정하여 부식 기간별 알루미늄 재료의 표면 부식 정도를 평가하였다. 또한 전자주사현미경을 통해 파단면 분석 및 재료 표면에 형성된 산화막을 측정하였다. 실험결과 초기 부식 4주 동안은 부식이 활발히 진행되어 피로수명은 크게 감소하고 표면 거칠기는 증가하였다. 하지만 4주 이후부터 재료의 부동태화 현상으로 부식 반응이 둔화되는 경향을 보였다. 전자주사현미경을 통한 분석에서도 표면 산화막의 성장이 4주 이후부터 둔화되어 재료 표면의 산화막이 보호층 역할을 하여 더 이상의 부식진행을 방지한다는 결론은 얻었다.

요통완화프로그램이 만성 요통호소 여교사의 배근력, 통증정도, 기능장애에 미치는 효과 (An Effect of Low Back Pain Relieving Program on the Back Muscle Strenght, Intensity of Pain, Disability Level in Elementary School Women Teacher)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of low back pain relieving program on back muscle strength, intensity of pain, low back disability level in elementary school teachers who have low back pain. subjects were elementary school women teachers who worked at eight elementary school located in Seoul. Intended subjects size were seventy consist of thirty-four experimental group(three schools) and thirty-six control group(five schools), but actual subjects size was forty-four. Among the forty-four patients subjects, twenty-three were experimental group receiving health education about right postures, etiologies of low back pain, diagnosis of low back pain and exercise program composed of muscle strengthening exercise, stretching exercises and twenty-one were control group. During the 8 weeks program, the subjects were received two times education and six times group exercise practices in 1st week and three times per week group exercise practices, two times education in other 7 weeks. This study as carried out from April 1, 1999 to June 30, 1999. Back muscle strength was measured by back muscle strength measuring machine and the intensity of pain were measured by the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), and level of disability was measured by Oswestry low back pain disability scale. Study measurements were taken before and after 8 week exercise program. Data were analyzed using paired t-test, and ANCOVA. The results were summarized as follows. 1. After low back relieving program, back muscle strength was increased significantly(p=0.000) and there was significant difference in back muscle strength change between experimental group and control group(p=0.002). 2. After low back pain relieving program, pain on anterior bending, pain on posterior bending were decreased significantly than measurements before the program(p=0.000 p=0.000) and there was significant difference in pain on anterior bending and posterior bending change between experimental group and control group(p=0.000, p=0.000). 3. After low back pain relieving program, Oswestry disability scale scores were decreased significantly(p=0.000, p=0.000) but there was no significant difference in Oswestry disability score change between experimental group and control group.

콜론분류법에 바탕한 자동분류시스템의 개발에 관한 연구 - 농학 및 의학 전문도서관을 사레로 - (Developing an Automatic Classification System Based on Colon Classification: with Special Reference to the Books housed in Medical and Agricultural Libraries)

  • The purpose of this study is (1) to design and test a database which can be automatically classified, and (2) to generate automatic classification number by processing the keywords in titles using the code combination method of Colon Classification(CC) as well as an automatic recognition of subjects in order to develop an automatic classification system (Auto BC System) based on CC which can be applied to any research library. To conduct this study, 1,510 words in the fields of agricultrue and medicine were selected, analized in terms of [P], [M], [E], [S], [T] employed in CC, and included in a database for classification. For the above-mentioned subject fields, the principle of an automatic classification was specified in order to generate automatic classification codes as well as to perform an automatic subject recognition of the titles included. Whenever necessary, editing, deleting, appending and reindexing of a database can be made in this automatic classification system. Appendix 1 shows the result of the automatic classification of books in the fields of agriculture and medicine. The results of the study are summarized below. 1. The classification number for the title of a book can be automatically generated by using the facet principles of Colon Classification. 2. The automatic subject recognition of a book is achieved by designing a database making use of a globe-principle, and by specifying the subject field for each word. 3. The automatic subject-recognition of input data is achieved by measuring the number of searched words by each subject field. 4. The combination of classification numbers is achieved by flowcharting of classification formular of each subject field. 5. The efficient control of classification numbers is achieved by designing control codes on the database for classification. 6. The automatic classification by means of Auto BC has been proved to be successful in the research library concentrating on a Single field. The general library may have some problem in employing this system. The automatic classification through Auto BC has the following advantages: 1. Speed of the classification process can be improve. 2. The revision or updating of classification schemes can be facilitated. 3. Multiple concepts can be expressed in a single classification code. 4. The consistency of classification can be achieved with the classification formular rather than the classifier's subjective judgement. 5. A user's retrieving process can be made after combining the classification numbers through keywords relating to the material to be searched. 6. The materials can be classified by a librarian without subject backgrounds. 7. The large body of materials can be quickly classified by means of a machine processing. 8. This automatic classification is expected to make a good contribution to design of the total system for library operations. 9. The information flow among libraries can be promoted owing to the use of the same program for the automatic classification.

  • The increasing functional needs of top-quality printing papers and packaging paperboards, and especially the rapid developments in electronic printing processes and various computer printers during past few years, set new targets and requirements for modern paper quality. Most of these paper grades of today have relatively high filler content, are moderately or heavily calendered , and have many coating layers for the best appearance and performance. In practice, this means that many of the traditional quality assurance methods, mostly designed to measure papers made of pure. native pulp only, can not reliably (or at all) be used to analyze or rank the quality of modern papers. Hence, introduction of new measurement techniques is necessary to assure and further develop the paper quality today and in the future. Paper formation , i.e. small scale (millimeter scale) variation of basis weight, is the most important quality parameter of paper-making due to its influence on practically all the other quality properties of paper. The ideal paper would be completely uniform so that the basis weight of each small point (area) measured would be the same. In practice, of course, this is not possible because there always exists relatively large local variations in paper. However, these small scale basis weight variations are the major reason for many other quality problems, including calender blacking uneven coating result, uneven printing result, etc. The traditionally used visual inspection or optical measurement of the paper does not give us a reliable understanding of the material variations in the paper because in modern paper making process the optical behavior of paper is strongly affected by using e.g. fillers, dye or coating colors. Futhermore, the opacity (optical density) of the paper is changed at different process stages like wet pressing and calendering. The greatest advantage of using beta transmission method to measure paper formation is that it can be very reliably calibrated to measure true basis weight variation of all kinds of paper and board, independently on sample basis weight or paper grade. This gives us the possibility to measure, compare and judge papers made of different raw materials, different color, or even to measure heavily calendered, coated or printed papers. Scientific research of paper physics has shown that the orientation of the top layer (paper surface) fibers of the sheet paly the key role in paper curling and cockling , causing the typical practical problems (paper jam) with modern fax and copy machines, electronic printing , etc. On the other hand, the fiber orientation at the surface and middle layer of the sheet controls the bending stiffness of paperboard . Therefore, a reliable measurement of paper surface fiber orientation gives us a magnificent tool to investigate and predict paper curling and coclking tendency, and provides the necessary information to finetune, the manufacturing process for optimum quality. many papers, especially heavily calendered and coated grades, do resist liquid and gas penetration very much, bing beyond the measurement range of the traditional instruments or resulting invonveniently long measuring time per sample . The increased surface hardness and use of filler minerals and mechanical pulp make a reliable, nonleaking sample contact to the measurement head a challenge of its own. Paper surface coating causes, as expected, a layer which has completely different permeability characteristics compared to the other layer of the sheet. The latest developments in sensor technologies have made it possible to reliably measure gas flow in well controlled conditions, allowing us to investigate the gas penetration of open structures, such as cigarette paper, tissue or sack paper, and in the low permeability range analyze even fully greaseproof papers, silicon papers, heavily coated papers and boards or even detect defects in barrier coatings ! Even nitrogen or helium may be used as the gas, giving us completely new possibilities to rank the products or to find correlation to critical process or converting parameters. All the modern paper machines include many on-line measuring instruments which are used to give the necessary information for automatic process control systems. hence, the reliability of this information obtained from different sensors is vital for good optimizing and process stability. If any of these on-line sensors do not operate perfectly ass planned (having even small measurement error or malfunction ), the process control will set the machine to operate away from the optimum , resulting loss of profit or eventual problems in quality or runnability. To assure optimum operation of the paper machines, a novel quality assurance policy for the on-line measurements has been developed, including control procedures utilizing traceable, accredited standards for the best reliability and performance.

수종의 All-Etching Agent와 산부식시간에 따른 법랑질 산부식형태 및 전단 결합강도에 관한 연구 (THE EFFECTS OF VARIOUS ALL-ETCHING AGENTS AND VARIED ETCHING TIME ON ENAMEL MORPHOLOGY AND BOND STRENGTH)

  • The effects of various All-Etching Agents (10% phosphoric acid, 10% maleic acid and 10 % citric acid) and 32 % phosphoric acid and varied etching time were evaluated by observing the morphology of the etched enamel surfaces using Scanning electron microscopy and by measuring the shear bond strength of a composite resin to human enamel. A total of 156 extracted premolar and molar teeth free of irregularities were employed in this study. Specimens for the observation of enamel morphology were divided into 12 groups of 3 teeth each, based on the type of etchant used and application time. After exposure to the etching agent specimens were washed air-dried and then glued to aluminum stubs and coated with a layer of gold for examination in the scanning electron microscope. Specimens for the evaluation of bond strength were divided into 12 groups of 10 teeth each also based on the type of etchant used and application time. After exposure to the etching agent the specimens were washed, air-dried and a thin layer of bonding agent was applied using a brush. Z 100 composite resin was light cured to the surface and stored at $37^{\circ}C$, 100% humidity for 7 days. An Instron Universal Testing Machine was used to apply a shearing force at $90^{\circ}$ angle from the enamel surface. It is concluded from this study that commercial All-etching agents can be used with a 15-second etching without adversely affecting retention of dental resin materials. At the same time, the acid concentration is probably a suitable compromise regarding the acid's function as a dentin demineralizing all-etch conditioning agent. The following results were obtained. 1. Specimens etched with 10 % citric acid showed a random superficial etching pattern which could not be related to prism morphology. 2. Specimens etched with 10 % and 32 % phosphoric acid and 10 % maleic acid showed a type I pattern in which core material was preferentially removed leaving the prism peripheries relatively intact or a type II pattern in which prism peripheries were preferentially removed. This delineation became more distinguished as etching time was increased. 3. All-Etching Agents and 32 % phosphoric acid showed a statistically significant higher shear bond strength at 15 seconds etching time.(p<0.05) 4. 10 % maleic acid and 32 % phosphoric acid exhibited a statistically significant higher shear bond strength than 10 % phosphoric and citric acid at 15 seconds etching time.(p<0.05).

도재 표면처리가 도재와 도재 수리용 복합레진간 전단결합강도에 미치는 영향 (EFFECT OF PORCELAIN SURFACE TREATMENTS ON THE SHEAR BOND STRENGTH BETWEEN FORCELAIN AND COMPOSITE RESIN)

  • Most investigators recommended that porcelain surface should be roughened with abrasives and/or be etched with acid in repairing the fractured porcelain with composite resin. This study was designed to evaluate the effect of porcelain surface treatments on the bond strength between porcelain and composite resin by measuring the shear bond strength and observing the porcelain surface with SEM. 48 porcelain disc were fabricated with Vintage porcelain and embedded in epoxy resin with the test surface exposed. The specimens were divided four groups at random and the test surfaces of the four groups were prepared as follows : Group 1 : Porcelain surface was roughened with a fine diamond and treated with 32% phosphoric acid gel for 10 seconds. Group 2 : Porcelain surface was roughened with a fine diamond and etched with 8% hydrofluoric acid gel for 5 minutes. Group 3 : Porcelain surface was roughened with a coarse diamond and treated with 32% phosphoric acid gel for 10 seconds. Group 4 : Porcelain surface was roughened with a coarse diamond and etched with 8% hydrofluoric acid gel for 5 minutes. All specimens were washed for 30 seconds. A representative specimen of each group was selected and the porcelain surface was observed with SEM at 1000 magnification. Remaining specimens were silanated, bonded with composite resin, thermocycled, and shear-tested on specially designed zig connected to Instron machine. The results were as follows : 1. The shear bond strength of the group etched with hydrofluoric acid was significantly higher than that of group treated with phosphoric acid(p<0.01). 2. The shear bond strength of the group roughened with a fine diamond was not significantly different from that of the group roughened with a coarse diamond(p>0.01). 3. SEM examination of prepared porcelain surfaces revealed that the surface etched with hydrofluoric acid showed numerous microporosities, undercut, and rougher surface than the surface treated with phosphoric acid. 4. All specimens etched with hydrofluoric acid showed cohesive failure within porcelain, but specimens treated with phosphoric acid mainly showed adhesive failure between porcelain and composite resin.
