A Study on Medical Service Quality affecting percieved value, Satisfaction and Intention of Revisit in Middle Hospitals (중소병원 환자가 인지하는 의료서비스 품질이 서비스 가치, 고객만족, 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to analyze the effect of quality of health care on perceived value, patient satisfaction and revisit intention. Especially, it was focused on outdoor environment, indoor environment, admission procedure, hospital image, service quality of physicians nurses medical technicians medical staff that patients perceived. Inpatients and outpatients were selected from three hospital in D city Questionnaire survey was employed to collect data from the subjects. For inpatients, indoor environment, admission procedure, hospital image and service quality of physicians have an effect on perceived value. Admission procedure, hospital image and service quality of physicians nurses medical technicians has an effect on the patient satisfaction. Hospital image and service quality of physicians nurses medical technicians have an effect on revisit intention. Perceived value have an effect on the patient satisfaction. Perceived value have an effect on revisit intention. Patient satisfaction have an effect on revisit intention. For outpatients, Admission procedure, hospital image and service quality of physicians medical technicians have an effect on perceived value. Indoor environment, hospital image and service quality of physicians medical technicians medical staff has an effect on the patient satisfaction. Indoor environment, hospital image and service quality of physicians medical technicians have an effect on revisit intention. Perceived value have an effect on the patient satisfaction. Perceived value have an effect on revisit intention. Patient satisfaction have an effect on revisit intention. They should evaluate customer satisfaction on their services and analyze various factors that affect on it to improve middle hospitals.

The Consumer Consciousness and Behavior on Environmental Problems of the High School Girls (여고생의 환경문제에 대한 소비자 의식과 행동)

  • The purpose of this study are to measure the overall level of consumer consciousness and behavior on environmental problems of high school girl students and to analyze the most influential factors related to the socio-demography and the education on environment. This study also aims at inspiring the students with sound view of environments and furnishing basic data for the development of consumer education program. The researcher used questionnaires on consumer consciousness scale and consumer behavior scale for the purpose of this study. 640 students were surveyed randomly in Kwangju and Chonnam, and 608 questionnaires were selected as final analysis data. Major Findings were as follows: 1. The average score of consumer consciousness and behavior on environmental problems of the high school girls were 86.0 on scale of 110 (72.7 on scale of 100) and 63.3 on scale of 115(43.8 on scale of 100). 2. The consumer consciousness and behavior on environmental problems of the high school girls showed partial differences according to the socio-demography variable. 3. The consumer consciousness and behavior on environmental problems of the high school girls showed partial differences according to the education to environment variables. 4. The consumer behavior on environmental problems had a positive relationship with the consumer consciousness. 5. The most influential variables on the consumer consciousness were necessity of the education on environment, the type of school, region, and monthly allowance money in sequence. And the most influential variables on the consumer behavior were the campaign on environment in home, participation in environment preservation, cosciousness of environment, and education experience on environment in sequence. Epidermoid cyst: A single-center review of 432 cases

  • Background: Epidermoid cysts are benign tumors derived from the infundibular portion of hair follicles and thus have a flattened surface epithelium and keratohyaline granules. They can occur at any age but are most frequently reported in adults, and more often occur in men than women. Most epidermoid cyst operations are performed for cosmetic purposes, or to relieve inflammation. The definitive treatment is complete excision or destruction of the cyst. The aim of this study was to improve understanding of epidermoid cysts. Methods: We analyzed 432 cases of epidermoid cyst in 398 patients that underwent complete excision and biopsy between April 2001 and March 2020, according to patient age, patient gender, and lesion location. Results: From all epidermoid cyst excisions performed, 17.6% were for patients in their 40s and 50s, 16.8% for those in their 20s, 16.1% for those in their 30s, 14.6% for those aged 60 or older, 5.0% for teenagers, and 0.5% for those under 10 years. Cases of epidermoid cysts occurred at a men-to-women ratio of about 3:2, with 59.5% of cases in men and 40.5% in women. By lesion location, 65.0% of cases were on the face, 10.9% on the trunk, 7.9% on the scalp, 7.9% on the neck, 4.3% on lower extremities, 3.9% on upper extremities, and 0.2% on genitalia. On the face, 20.8% of cases were on the cheek, 12.7% on the periauricular area, 10.9% on the periorbital area, 6.0% on the frontal area, 5.6% on the mental area, 3.7% on the perioral area, 2.8% on the nasal area, and 2.5% on the temporal area. Conclusion: The proportion of women with epidermoid cysts was higher in our study than in previous studies. Moreover, the results showed that surgery has been on the rise in recent years, with facial surgery being the most common.

Changes of Mandibular Movement and TMJ Sound on Head and Neck Posture (두경부 위치에 따른 하악운동 및 측두하악관절음의 변화)

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence on mandibular movements and TMJ sounds with changes of head and neck posture. For the research, twenty patients who had complained of TMJ sounds without any other symptoms of cranio-mandibular disorders, were selected as subjects for measurements of TMJ sounds, and radiographs on transcranial view of TMJ were taken on ten of the subjects. From NHP, UHP, DHP and FHP, aspects of mandibular movement and TMJ sound were investigated from each posture. Aspects of mandibular movement and TMJ sound were observed by measuring total vibration energy(Integral), peak amplitude, maximum amound of mouth opening, and TMJ sound-emitting point using Sonopak for windows (version 1.33) and Bio-EGN(Bioresearch Inc. WI. U.S.A.). Head and neck movement-measuring instrument, CROM(perfomance attainment Inc. U.S.A.) was to maintain even head posture. Degrees of inclination of UHP and DHP were determined at 30' and distance of FHP was 4cm. The results obtained were as follows. 1. Total vibration energy and peak amplitude of TMJ sounds were decreased more on UHP and on UHP and increased more on DHP and FHP than that on NHP. 2. At the maximum mouth opening, distance of TMJ sound-emitting point were decreased more on UHP and increased more on DHP and FHP than that on NHP. 3. The amounts of the maximum mouth opening were increased more on UHP and decreased more on DHP and FHP than that on NHP. 4. For the changes of the head posture with mouth opening observed in radiograph, condylar head was positioned more lower-anteriorly on UHP, and more upper-posteriorly on DHP and FHP than that on NHP. From the results obtained as above, considering positive influence of the change of head and neck posture, avoiding down-head and forward-head posture, and recommending upper- head posture can prevent the progress of temporomandibular disorder and lead to successful treatment for the patients with temporomandibular joint sounds.

Comparison of the Time Spent on Household Work between Married Female Home-based Workers and On-site Workers: Focused on the Domain of Food (기혼여성 재택근문자와 직장근무자의 식생활 가사노동시간에 관한 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the amount of the household work time related to food and examine the factors affecting the time accomplished by married female home-based workers and on-site workers. The data were collected from 165 married female home-based workers, and 292 married female on-site workers in Pusan and Kyungnam province, by the self-administered questionnaire. frequency distributions, Cronbach's alpha, t-tests, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regression analyses were conducted by SPSS/PC+. The major findings of this study were as follows: (1) both married female home-based and on-site workers spent more time on household work related to food in a weekend than in a weekday, (2) in a weekday, occupation was significantly related to the amount of time that married female home-based workers spent on food household work, whereas age and occupation were significant for married female on-site workers, (3) on Saturday, the significant factors of the time spent on food household work were the number of family and occupation for married female home-based workers, and educational level, occupation, sex role attitude, existence of children of 6 years or under, and existence of elders/disability within the family for married female on-site workers, and (4) on Sunday, for married female home-based workers, the number of family, occupation, and the level of market good substitution had significant effects on the amount of time spent on food household work, and for married female on-site workers, age, the number of family, occupation, sex role attitude, work hours on Sunday, and the level of market good substitution were significant.

Deposition and Corrosion Resistance of Electrophoretic Paint Coated on AZ61 and TZ61 Magnesium Alloys

  • Electrophoretic paint (E-paint) was investigated on four different magnesium substrates: as-extruded AZ61 (AZ61), heat-treated AZ61 (AZ61-H), as-extruded TZ61 (TZ61) and heat-treated TZ61 (TZ61-H), to elucidate the effect of heat treatment and alloying elements on the deposition and corrosion resistance of E-paint. It was found that, a rapid increase of voltage, indicating that the deposition of E-paint had started, was observed after an induction time of 0.39 min for AZ61-H, 0.43 min for AZ61, 0.51 min for TZ61-H and 0.58 min for TZ61. The amount of E-paint deposited on the four samples was approximately similar, but the electrical charge used for the deposition process on the heat-treated samples was smaller than that on the as-extruded samples. The current efficiencies of E-paint on AZ samples (AZ61 and AZ61-H) were higher than those of TZ samples (TZ61 and TZ61-H), and on the heat-treated samples were higher than on as-extruded samples. All E-paintings on the four magnesium substrates had an excellent adhesion without any paint detached by tape peel-test. However, many large blisters were formed on the surface of AZ samples, and none, or very small blisters were observed on TZ samples after immersion test in DI-water for 500 h at $40^{\circ}C$. Under salt spray test (SST) conditions, E-paint on AZ samples showed blistering adjacent to scribes, while blistering of E-paint occurred on intact areas of TZ samples. The E-paint on heat-treated samples showed much better corrosion resistance than that on as-extruded samples. The ranking of greater to lesser corrosion resistance of the E-paint on these four different magnesium substrates is indicated by the order: AZ61-H > AZ61 > TZ61-H > TZ61.

  • The purpose of this study is (1) to investigate the level of the consumer needs on a reform of administrative service and (2) to identify the influencing variables. For empirical analysis it used the data on 511 persons collected in the Chunju. The questionaire method was for data gathering. The major findings are as follows: (1) The level of consumer needs on a reform of administrative service is quite high and expecially the need on ' a government employee' is very high(2) It differed significantly according to age occupation attitude on adminstation attitude on consumerism and especially attitude on consumerism is most influencing variables.

For lack of trust, many people not prefer purchasing through virtual channels. Based on the literature review, this study aims at empirically testing the impact of website design on individual trust in internet firms. From statistic analysis, we will conclude that security, interaction, and navigation functionality will affect on-line trust.

Following Firms on Twitter: Determinants of Continuance and Word-of-Mouth Intentions (트위터를 통한 기업과 고객과의 소통: 지속적인 팔로윙과 구전 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구)

  • Many companies have recently become interested in using social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook as a new channel to communicate with their customers. For example, companies often offer "special deals" (e.g., coupons, discounts, free samples, etc.) to their customers who participate in promotions or events on social networking sites. Companies often make important announcements on their products or services on social networking sites. By doing so, customers are encouraged to continue to have relationships with companies on social networking sites and to recommend the companies' presence on social networking sites to other potential customers. Moreover, customers who keep close relationships with companies on social networking sites often provide the companies with valuable suggestions and feedback. For instance, Starbucks has more than 2 million followers on Twitter, and often receive suggestions and feedback for their product offerings and services from the followers on Twitter. Although companies realize potential benefits of using social networking sites as a channel to communicate with their customers, it appears that many companies have difficulty forging long-lasting relationships with customers on social networking sites. It is often reported that many customers who had followed companies on Twitter later stopped following them for various reasons. Therefore, it is an important issue to understand what motivates customers to continue to keep relationships with companies on social networking sites. Nonetheless, due attention has yet paid to this issue until recently. This study intends to contribute to our understanding on customers' intention to continue to follow companies on Twitter and to spread positive word-of-mouth about companies on Twitter. Specifically, we identify seven potential factors that customers perceive as important in evaluating their experience with companies on Twitter. The seven factors include similarity, receptivity, interactivity, ubiquitous connectivity, enjoyment, usefulness and transparency. We posit that the seven perception factors can affect the two types of satisfaction, emotional and cognitive, which can in turn influence on customers' intention to follow companies on Twitter and to spread positive word-of-mouth about companies on Twitter. Research hypotheses formulated in this study were tested with data collected from a questionnaire survey administered to customers who had been following companies on Twitter. The data was analyzed with the partial least square (PLS) approach to structural equation modeling. The results of data analysis based on 177 usable responses were generally supportive of our predictions for the effects of the seven factors identified and the two types of satisfaction. In particular, out results suggest that emotional satisfaction was strongly influenced by perceived similarity, perceived receptivity, perceived enjoyment, and perceived transparency. Cognitive satisfaction was significantly influenced by perceived similarity, perceived interactivity, perceived enjoyment, and perceived transparency. While cognitive satisfaction was found to have significant and positive effects on both continued following and word-of-mouth intentions, emotional satisfaction had a significant and positive effect only on word-of-mouth intention.

A STUDY ON THE DEPOSITION PATTERN OF SUBGINGIVAL CALCULUS (치은연하 치석의 침착양상에 관한 연구)

  • Dental calculus which is calcifing and/or calcified dental plaque is divided into supragingival calculus and subgingival calculus according to the position of deposit to gingival margin. Subgingival calculus has more important clinical significance in diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease than supragingival calculus. In order to investigate the deposition pattern of subgingival calculus on each root surface of different tooth type, extracted 192 teeth due to excessive destruction of periodontal tissue were divided according to tooth type and the deposition pattern of subgingival calculus was classified into linear type, veneer type, scattered type, and aggregated type according to the configuration and the extent of deposit. The difference of percentage between each deposition pattern was statistically analyzed by Chi-Square test. Following results were obtained : l. In maxillary incisors, linear type and aggregated type were predominant deposition pattern of subgingival calculus on labial(45.5%, 36.4%) and palatal(36.4%, 36.4%) root surface, aggreated type(72.7%) was on mesial surface, and aggregated type(54.5%) and scattered type(36.4%) was on distal suface. 2. In mandibular incisors, scattered type, linear type and aggregated type were predominant deposition pattern of subgingival calculus on labial(33.3%, 30.6%, 27.8%) and lingual(36.1%, 30.6%, 25.0%) root surface, aggregated type(33.3%), scattered type(27.8% ), and veneer type(27.8%) were on mesial surface, and aggregated type(38.9%) and scattered type(33.3%) on distal surface. 3. In maxillary peremolars, the predominant deposition patterns of subgingival calculus were linear type(28.6%) on buccal root suface, scattered type(35.7%) and linear type(28.6%) on palatal surface, scattered type(39.3%) on mesial surface, aggregated type(46.4%) on distal surface, and aggregated type(53.6%) on furcation area. 4. In mandibular premolars, scattered type was predominant deposition pattern of subgingival calculus on buccal(39.3%) and lingual(50.0%) root surface, scattered type(32.1%) and aggregated type(32.1% ) were on mesial surface, and aggregated type(42.9%) was on distal surface. 5. In maxillary molars, aggregated type(40.0%) and scattered type(32.5%) were predominat deposition pattern of subgingival calculus on buccal root surface, aggregated type was on distal(40.0%) and furcation area(50.0%), but there was no predominat pattern on palatal and mesial root surfaces. 6. In mandibular molars, aggregated type(39.5%) and scattered type(28.9%) were predominant deposition patterns of subgingival calculus on buccal root surface, aggregated type(36.8%) was on lingual surface, linear type(39.5%) and aggregated type(34.2%) were on furcation area, but there was no predominant pattern on mesial and distal root surfaces.
