Optimal control of the State Feedback Variables for Controlling DC Motor (DC Motor 제어를 위한 상태궤환 변수의 최적제어)

  • Thig paper used two feedback sensors, that is, potentiometer and tachometer in order to control DC motor. Also, the state feedback and kalman regular type in the linear system or the state feedback and on-off relay type in the non-linear system are used as control meth-ods for optimal control values. This compared and analyzed the control estimate of tracking angles by the estimate of three branches of methods of position and speed measured, position and speed by PD and position, speed and covariance by an observer.

  • Microchip사의 PIC Family 계열 마이크로프로세서 PIC16C74A를 이용하여 다수의 모터를 on/off 제어하는 컨트롤 보드의 제작과 함께 RS-485 Multi-drop 통신을 이용하여 분산제어 할 수 있는 프로토콜의 선정 및 상위 단 제어 솔루션 개발을 하였다. 프로그램은 하위단 컨트롤보드의 ASM과 함께 Visual BASIC 및 $C^{++}$을 이용하여 상위단 MMI(Man-Machine Interface)를 설계하였다. 본 연구는 여러 개의 장치를 on/off 제어할 수 있는 분산제어네트워크를 경제적으로 설계함으로써 상용화 가능하다는 장점이 있다.

  • 현재 우리나라는 지속되는 인구의 고령화와 단순 노동인구의 저하 등의 이유로 곳곳에 노동력이 부족한 상황이다. 그로인해 노동력을 대신할 기계들과 자동화 시스템이 많이 개발되었고, 발전해 나가고 있다. 본 논문의 웹서버는 IoT모듈의 전원을 무선통신을 통해 제어함으로 전원의 on/off기능을 통해 원거리에서 제어할 수 있는 방법으로 인력을 감소시킬 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 아두이노의 릴레이모듈, WiFi 모듈, 무선통신 웹서버를 통해 IoT 모듈의 전원을 제어하는 방법을 제안한다. HTTP 통신을 이용하여 웹서버에서 현재 on/off 제어 데이터를 IoT 모듈에서 읽어갈 수 있게 하고, IoT 모듈은 웹서버에서 읽어온 정보를 기반으로 작동하고 웹 서버로 자신의 정보를 전달한다.

  • Smart Home or Home Network technology is one that continuously creates added value, making a better life. This paper designed and developed a smart home control system using smart phone. This proposed smart home system consists of home server control system, remote smart application system and home node structure. Home node structure, in detail, is composed of intrusion detection, gas leakage or gas valve control, door lock, automatic curtain, ventilation control and On/Off control modules and these modules are controlled at home server. Home server makes it easy to control home automatic control system anytime, anywhere as it provides remote interface that enables control via smartphone and user interface in itself.

  • In this paper, we focus on the analysis of the scheduling problem in FMS after slicing off some sub-nets using the transitive matrix. This class of Time Petri nets is obtained by merging subnets based on the machine's operations. We can divide original system into some subnets based on machine's operations using Time Petri nets slice and analyze the feasibility time in each schedules. In this paper, we show the usefulness of transitive matrix to slice off some subnets from the original net, and explain on an example.

Active Vibration Control of Clamped Beams Using Filtered Velocity Feedback Controllers (Filtered Velocity Feedback 제어기를 이용한 양단지지보의 능동진동제어)

  • This paper reports a filtered velocity feedback(FVF) controller, which is an alternative to direct velocity feedback(DVFB) controller. The instability problems due to high frequency response under DVFB can be alleviated by the suggested FVF controller. The FVF controller is designed to filter out the unstable high frequency response. The FVF controller and the dynamics of clamped beams under forces and moments are first formulated. The effects of the design parameters(cut-off frequency, gain, and damping ratio) on the stability and the performance are then investigated. The cut-off frequency should be selected not to affect the system stability. The magnitude of the open loop transfer function(OLTF) at the cut-off frequency should be small. As increasing the gain of the FVF controller, the magnitude of the OLTF is increased, so that the closed loop response can be reduced more. The enhancement of the OLTF at the cut-off frequency is reduced but the phase behavior around the cut-off frequency is distorted, as the damping ratio is increased. The control performance is finally estimated for the clamped beam. More than 10 dB reductions in velocity response can be achieved at the modal frequencies from the first to eighth modes.

  • An off-line programming, OLP, system is widely used in automation fines. To help an on-line robot system to carry out desirable tasks planned by the off-line simulation, an approach to the real-time communication is presented. The OLP system developed consists of a software, a host computer(PC), a SCARA robot body, four servo drivers, and four independent joint controllers. This study focuses on the software where real-time communication is included. The software, can be used in teaching, trajectory planning, real-time running, and performance evaluation. The evaluation of different control algorithms is one of the merits of the software. The software can give servo commands for task running. A comparison of generated and corresponding actual trajectories provides the evaluation of task performance. The safety, of the OLP system is ensured by alarming malfuntions of the system. The OLP system developed can reduce the teaching time and increase the user's convenience.

  • This paper considers modelling and control of ABS(Anti-skid Brake System) which avoids dangerous wheel locking due to excessive brake pressure during the vehicle braking. The brake pressure is controlled by on and off's of solenoid valves via the variation of the wheel circumferential deceleration measured using tacho-sensors. The dynamic model between the brake pressure and the wheel acceleration of a vehicle is mathematically derived. The computer simulation shows that the threshold value of the on-off control is critical to the performance of the ABS.

  • In the case of temperature control of air conditioning and refrigerating system, it is possible to operate the system continuously by controlling the cooling capacity of refrigerating machines. But on-off control system has been adopted for refrigerating system which has more large capacity than that required to remove the generated heat. In this on-off control system, it can be considered that there exists some optimum condition for the refrigerating capacity, operating cycle, running hour, and the temperature difference between thermostat setting value and real one. In this paper, an equation was derived to express the temperature variation of the refrigerated object (Nybrine) and later two evaluating functions were derived. One is for the temperature difference and another is for operating cycle and running hour. The weighted sum of these two functions is defined as the criterion function for the evaluation of the control performance of the system, and then the optimum running condition is investigated in the sense of minimizing the criterion function. Experiments showed that the heat balance equation derived for the temperature variation and the estimation of the time constant of the refrigerated system are appropriate. By conclusion, if a proper weighting factor D is selected, the optimum conditions exist for the refrigerating capacity, running hour, and operating cycle in the on-off temperature control of the refrigerating system.
