해상 전력구조물 내구성 실증 실험장 구축 및 운영 (Development and Operation of Durability Mock-Up Test Facilities for Offshore Electricity Structures)

  • This paper discusses a strategy and status for development and operation of durability mock-up test facilities for offshore structures. The strategy is examplified and facilitated using an offshore transmission tower crossing the West sea and the Shihwha lake, which was designed and constructed 345kV T/L lines transmitting power from Yeong-Heung fossil power plant to Seoul metropolitan area. Various data for corrosion protection, aging, life-prediction of concrete and steel offshore structures can be obtained using the proposed mock-up test facility. Acquired data will be used for further research on durability, life-prediction, and retrofit of structures. It is important to maintain the safety of 345 kV Yeong-Heung transmission line crossing the Shihwha lake because the offshore structure is one of the critical electric facilities transmitting large power to the metropolitan area. Operation of the offshore transmission tower mock-up is expected to make a significant contribution to stable power supply.

지반-구조물 상호작용을 고려한 콘크리트 석션식 해상풍력 지지구조물의 지진거동 특성 (Seismic Behaviors of Concrete-Suction-Type Offshore Wind Turbine Supporting Structures Considering Soil-Structure Interaction)

  • 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 석션식 지지구조물을 사용한 해상풍력발전시스템의 지진응답 해석을 수행하여 그 거동 특성을 파악한다. 전체 시스템을 RNA, 타워, 지지구조물로 구성된 구조계와 이에 접하고 있는 유체 및 지반의 부분구조로 분리하여 운동방정식을 유도한다. 구조계에 작용하는 유체의 동수압과 지반의 상호작용력을 산정하고, 이를 구조계의 운동방정식과 결합하여 전체 시스템의 지배방정식을 도출한 후, 이 방정식의 해를 구하여 해상풍력발전시스템의 지진응답을 계산한다. 해석 결과로부터 지반-구조물 상호작용은 콘크리트 석션식 지지구조물에 의해 지지된 해상풍력발전시스템의 지진응답을 크게 증가시킬 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 특히, 지반의 유연성으로 인해 시스템의 고차 고유모드 응답이 증가할 수 있으므로, 해상풍력발전시스템의 동적거동 산정 시에는 반드시 지반-구조물 상호작용의 효과를 고려하여야 할 것이다.

  • A huge offshore structures such as immersed tunnel, ice-resisting wall are continuously subjected to large force from water pressure, wave action and impact loads. Composite steel-concrete structure of sandwich system has profitable advantages for a huge offshore structures. This composite structures should exhibit a high degree of strength and ductility, because of concrete confining effect and the property of steel plate. Therefore, it endures large deformation and absorbs a great deal of energy until failure. In this study, nonlinear analysis for composite steel-concrete structure of sandwich system was carried out, and certify the effects of various parameters, elastic·plastic behavior characteristic, load-carrying and failure mechanism.

  • 해상풍력발전의 건설이 여러 가지 환경 및 가설공법 등의 설치환경 등의 원인에 의하여 건설지점이 천해에서 심해로 이동하는 경향을 나타내고 있다. 이러한 경향 속에 해상풍력발전 지지구조물의 심해화에 따른 지지구조물에 대한 연구는 중요성이 더욱 증대될 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 Jacket 구조물에 대하여 Precast Concrete Block 및 Suction pile을 적용한 Jacket 구조물을 제안하고 이에 대하여 구조해석 및 안전성 평가를 실시하였다. 또한 제안된 구조물에 동조액체감쇠기를 적용하여 구조물 진동성능 향상을 도모하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 제안된 신형식 Jacket 구조물은 충분한 안전성을 가지고 있는 것으로 평가되었으며, 동조액체감쇠기를 적용하였을 경우, 약 5%의 진동저감 효과가 있는 것으로 검토되었다.

LMC(Latex Modified Concrete)의 염소이온 확산 특성 (Evaluation of Diffusion Property of Latex Modified Concrete)

  • It is most serious problem which is various occurs from the agricultural concrete structure and off shore concrete structure the problem which it comes to think is deterioration of the concrete which is caused with the corrosion of the reinforcing steel which is caused by with permeation of the water and the sea water. Specially the off shore concrete structure has been deteriorated by the steel reinforcement corrosion. The latex modified concrete(LMC) was adds latex in the plain concrete as the latex has increase the durability of concrete. This study were accomplished to the estimate the diffusion coefficient of LMC, and the time dependent constants of diffusion. The average chloride diffusion coefficient was estimated. Also, the average chloride diffusion coefficient was compared with diffusion coefficient test results of 28 curing days. The test results indicated that the average chloride diffusion coefficient could closely estimate the test results of the diffusion coefficient test results of 28 curing days.

빙-콘크리트 마찰 특성 평가를 위한 실험적 기초 연구 (Basic Experimental Study for Ice-Concrete Friction Behavior)

  • Ice induced abrasion is known as a critical problem in concrete gravity based offshore structures, which are mainly used in the arctic regions. Although many researches on ice abrasion have been conducted for the last several decades, there still are some difficulties in designing concrete gravity based offshore structures against abrasion problem because there is no standardized method yet due to the uncertain physics involved in. This paper presents an experimental study for the evaluation of concrete abrasion characteristics due to ice friction on concrete surface. For the test, a testing machine capable of abrasion and friction was designed and produced, and standardized procedure was proposed to produce ice specimen used for abrasion test. For the experiment, compressive strength of the ice specimen were explored through a static compression test. Then the friction test between ice specimen and concrete surface was performed and friction coefficients were derived using measured vertical and horizontal forces. Dependency of friction coefficients on some test parameters were studied and discussed as well.

Seismic rehabilitation of substandard RC columns with partially deteriorated concrete using CFRP composites

  • Many existing reinforced concrete (RC) columns in structures tend to become substandard RC ones due to updated standards or environmental changes. These substandard columns may alter the behaviors of the whole structure and therefore are in urgent need of seismic retrofitting. Owing to their superior advantages, carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites are widely used to retrofit RC columns. The applications mainly focus on various substandard RC columns, but few deals with substandard columns with deteriorated concrete, especially damaged by earthquake. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the seismic behaviors of CFRP reinforced partially deteriorated RC columns and to evaluate the effect of CFRP sheets on them. Six flexure-dominant columns were tested under a constant axial load and transverse cyclic displacements. It is found that the seismic behaviors of partially deteriorated columns can be recovered by wrapping CFRP sheets on them. Numerical analysis is then conducted using finite element methods and verified with experimental results. The effects of the axial load ratio, the ratio of the thickness of CFRP sheet to the column diameter, and the slenderness ratio on the seismic behaviors of CFRP reinforced RC columns are evaluated. Finally, a method is proposed to determine the required thickness of CFRP sheet.

응답면 접근법을 이용한 해양구조물 시스템의 안전성 평가 (Safety assessment of offshore structure system using the response surface approach)

  • 본 논문에서는 해얀구조물의 신뢰성을 평가할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 우선 구조의 저항능력에 대한 응답면을 구축하였고, Person 곡선중 하나를 이용해서 응답면을 근사 시킨후 Monte-Carlo Simulation을 수행하였고, 최종적으로 수치적분법을 적용해서 파괴확률을 구하였다. 해양구조물에의 적용을 통해 본 논문의 방법이 갖는 정당성을 보였다.

저탄소 그린콘크리트의 내구 특성 (Durability Properties of Low Carbon Green Concrete)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the chlorine ion penetration resistance, chemical resistance and freezing and thawing resistance used ordinary portland cement, crushed coarse aggregate, crushed sand, river sand, fly ash, limestone powder, blast furance slag powder and superplasticizer to find optimum mix design of low carbon green concrete for structures. The performance of low carbon green concrete used fly ash, limestone powder and blast furnace slag powder were remarkably improved. This fact is expected to have economical effects in the manufacture of low carbon green concrete for offshore structures. Accordingly, the fly ash, limestone powder and blast furnace slag powder can be used for offshore structure materials.
