  • Governments seek to advance public industry had planed to decreased by 50% of KORAIL management deficit in 2010, The transition to a profit in 2012. In addition. The government will not achieve the goal by 2010, management announced plans to review the case, and privatization. Office of unprofitable station and vehicle maintenance, maintenance work to make cost savings through outsourcing hed discussed how to create KORAIL advancement. April 2011 the government, "A study on th Efficiency of Conventional Railway Infrastructure Maintenance R&D Report" progresses, conventional railway infrastructure maintenance has focused attention on the field. However, the general maintenance of railway facilities without the knowledge and safety awareness, as compared to foreign railway personnel, and productivity has pointed out the contradiction. Economy and efficiency of the railway in order to pursue a public awareness and safety and professionalism is required. In this study, the conventional railway infrastructure maintenance in accordance with Facts would like to introduce efficiency measures.

  • As The development and commercialization of advanced technologies will depend increasingly on efficient technology transfer and technology trading systems and the knowledge economics grows rapidly, the value of intangible assets is more emphasized in business nowadays. Intangible assets include intellectual capital and intellectual property. This requires the development of technology markets or exchanges and hence a reliable technology valuation methodology. Our focus is on the business aspects of technology' contribution and we propose an objective scoring system, which is implemented by ANP, for Technology valuation of enterprise. As a result, This study intends to evaluate the contribution of an individual technology in intangible assets by the Analytic Network Process(ANP).

  • Information sharing and automated office in the use of PC necessitate corporate network to implement business innovation. Building an efficient network requires competent knowledge on capabilities of various LAN technologies, hardwares and softwares that have rapidly improved in terms of efficiency and cost. This paper compares capabilities of network components: communication protocol, hardware, network operation system, low cost database software and mid-range priced SQL for application development. Also this study presents a new technology on virtual LAN and a selection guide among the various options of the network components which are suitable for PC-based small-sized network in balance of efficiency with economy. In the last section of this paper, a case of small-sized network is given for illustration.

Analysis of the Efficiency Technology Transfer Offices in Management: The Case of Spain and Kazakhstan

  • This research is defined as a study regarding on structured and systematized of existing literature review of the intersection between intellectual property management, management and technology transfer offices (TTOs). It takes a deeper look at requirements within universities, scientific institutions and the business environment should be interconnected with each other. The literature review shows that TTOs have control over the process of knowledge transfer and they have contributed to improving the efficiency of the use of production and human resources. In this paper, authors proposed the methodological tools based on methodology model, which identified success factors for using project management in TTO between two countries - Kazakhstan and Spain. Further, we used methodology is focused on solving the problems of quantitative analysis based on the use of primary data, which allowed us to reach a huge number of respondents without any restrictions, and secondary data from statistical database. Findings and results are summarized at the end of article show that Kazakhstan is following the path of the Spanish experience. However, Kazakhstan can become more successful in commercializing scientific technologies and transferring knowledge and technologies. In turn, Spain can use the data from our analysis to work on barriers and improve the activities of TTOs.

Understanding Bacterial Biofilm Stimulation Using Different Methods - a Criterion for Selecting Epiphytes by Plants

  • Earlier studies by our group revealed that gallic acid in phytochemicals stimulated biofilm production in epiphytes, while caffeic acid in phytochemicals inhibited biofilm production in non-epiphytes. It is well documented that antimicrobial secretion by some epiphytic bacteria inhibits non-epiphytic bacterial growth on leaf surfaces. These selection criteria help plants choose their microbial inhabitants. Calcium and iron in phytochemicals also stimulate biofilm formation and thus, may be selection criteria adopted by plants with respect to their native epiphytic population. Furthermore, the processing of leaves during phytochemical extraction impacts the composition of the extract, and therefore its ability to affect bacterial biofilm formation. Computation of the Hurst exponent using biofilm thickness data obtained from the Ellipsometry of Brewster Angle Microscopic (BAM) images is an efficient tool for understanding the impact of phytochemicals on epiphytic and non-epiphytic populations when compared to fluorescent microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and staining techniques. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report that uses the Hurst exponent to elucidate the mechanism involved in plant microbe interaction.

정보(情報)시스템 Outsourcing의 전략적(戰略的) 선택(選擇) 및 활용(活用)에 관한 연구(硏究) (An Investigation on Strategic Choice and Utilization of Information Systems Outsourcing)

  • This study presents the growth strategy of outsourcing service by finding out the differences of importance between user firms and system integration(SI) firms in Korean outsourcing business, The result of data analysis reveals that there are siginificant differences between user firms and SI firms in some components of information systems(IS) outsourcing services. User firms regarded integation of distributea data centers as the prominent issue of IS environment changes. Meanwhile, SI firms chose management of IS/VAN center, office automation(OA), and management of global network, as the more important issues in the application area of outsourcing. Among the merits of outsourcing, both of them considered cost reduction and IS flexibility as the most important factors, However, they chose the difficulty of management control and the lack of operation knowledge among the demerits of outsourcing, Also, they commonly selected overall IS consulting among the components of outsourcing diffusion. In the question of future outsourcing services, user firms chose the adoption of client/server architecture, while SI firms selected the application of multimedia. These results show that there are some differences of preference between user firms and SI firms. Most of user firms consider the outsourcing to maximize information utilization, while the service suppliers focus on new IT adoption and its application to organization. For the strategic use of outsourcing services, SI firms are required to establish the diffusion strategy to meet the outsourcing needs of user firms.

대학의 특허경영전문가 활용에 따른 기술이전성과에 관한 연구 (A study on the technology transfer performance according to the patent management expert utilization of the university)

  • 본 연구는 대학의 특허경영전문가 활용이 기술이전 성과에 미치는 영향을 조사함으로써 향후 대학이 기술전담조직의 전문성강화의 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 특허경영전문가 파견에 관한 세부적인 효과파악을 위하여 세부적으로 특허경영전문가 파견유무, 특허경영전문가 파견기간, 특허경영전문가 파견연도로 세분화하여 연구를 진행하였다. 분석을 위하여, 대학정보공시센터의 "대학알리미" 자료와 한국지식재산전략원의 "특허경영전문가파견사업" 자료를 활용하였으며, 총 110개 4년제 대학을 중심으로 2008년부터 2013년간의 데이터를 활용하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 대학의 특허경영전문가활용은 활용 대학이 미활용대학 대비 기술이전 및 기술이전수입이 높은 것으로 나타나 대학의 기술이전 활성화를 이루는데 있어 특허경영전문가 활용이 중요한 역할을 했다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 대학의 특허경영전문가활용기간이 길수록 기술이전 및 기술이전수입이 높아지는 것으로 나타나 사업의 효과를 더욱 극대화하기 위하여 기간을 연장할 수 있는 방안마련이 필요하다는 방향성을 도출할 수 있었다. 셋째, 특허경영전문가 파견연도(해당연도)에는 기술이전 및 기술이전이 높아지지 않은 반면, 파견연도 전후로 기술이전성과가 나타나 특허경영전문가 파견이 즉각적인 효과라기 보다는 후속적인 효과로 해석할 수 있었다. 그렇기 때문에 파견사업의 효과를 단순히 짧은기간에 한정시키지 말고, 장기적인 관점에서 기술이전전담조직을 활성화시켜야 할 것이다.

공공 정보화 부문 PMO제도 도입에 따른 관련 법제도와 표준화된 프로젝트 관리 프로세스의 적합성 비교 연구 (Research of the Comparison Between Standardized Project Management Process and the related Legal Processes applying for PMO in Public)

  • PMO(Project Management Office)는 해당 영역의 프로젝트를 조정된 중앙 통제 방식으로 관리하기 위하여 필요한 다양한 책임을 배정받은 조직, 부서나 주체를 말하며, 프로젝트 관리 지원 기능을 제공하는 일부터 직접적인 프로젝트 관리에 이르기까지 다양한 책임을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PMO 제도 도입에 따른 성공적인 공공 정보화 사업 완수를 위해 우리나라 PMO 관련 현 법제도 현황을 선행 연구자들에 따른 PMO 기능 분석 종합 자료와 미국의 표준화된 프로젝트 관리 프로세스인 PMBOK(Project Management Body of Knowledge) 관리 지식 영역 프로세스를 적용해 우리나라 현 법제도의 적합성을 비교 분석하였다. 연구 결과로 공공 정보화 사업에서 PMO 제도를 도입함에 있어 우리나라 현 법제도가 공공 정보화 사업의 품질을 높이는데 보완되어야 할 영역들이 요구되었다. 향후 본 연구를 통해 공공 정보화 사업의 PMO 제도 도입 시 법적 제도화와 전문성을 제고하여 성공적인 사업 수행에 도움이 되도록 하고자 한다.

환경오염에 대한 축산농민들의 의식구조에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Livestock Farmer's Consciousness on the Environmental Pollution)

  • The purpose of this study were to make a comparison with the level of environmental consciousness between the livestock farmer and the reference groups( peasant, office worker, housewife and student) and to identify the variables which have an influence on the level of their role performance for environmental protection & preservation. Data for this study were collected from 822 cases including the livestock farmer(109), the peasant(67), the office worker(140), the housewife(119) and the student(356). The SPSS software program and statistics such as frequencies, x2, ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, Chronbach's ${\alpha}$ and factor analysis were used to analyze the data for this study. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. The pro-environmental attitude score(environmental sensitivity and attitude of environmental protection & preservation) the groups of office worker and housewife is shown higher than the groups of livestock farmer, peasant and student. 2. The consciousness of environmental problem is relatively low to the group of the livestock farmer compared with the reference groups. 3. As a result of multiple regression analysis, four determinants such as locus of control, lifestyle, environmental sensitivity, and knowledge of environmental issues explained 38.8% of the livestock farmer's role performance for the environmental protection & preservation.

상사의 리더십 유형에 따른 근로자의 행복 수준 차이 (Difference in Happiness Level of Workers Depending on the Leadership Type)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 A대기업 근로자가 인식한 상사의 리더십을 유형화하여 상사의 리더십 유형에 따라 근로자의 행복에 어떠한 차이가 있는 지를 규명하는 데 있다. 이를 위한 연구 목표로는 첫째, A대기업 근로자가 인식한 상사의 리더십 유형을 도출하고, 둘째, A대기업 근로자가 인식한 상사의 리더십 유형에 따른 구성원의 행복의 차이가 있는지에 대해 분석하였다. 이를 위해 잠재프로파일 분석(Latent profile analysis)을 실시하였고, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 리더십 유형은 다음의 4개의 유형으로 확인되었다: 1) 자기관리, 과업관리, 사람관리, 조직관리 영역별로 모두 완벽한 능력을 보이고 있는 엘리트 리더십 유형, 2) 사람관리능력이 상대적으로 다소 부족하지만 자기관리 능력이 뛰어나고 그 외 과업관리, 조직관리능력이 우수한 유능한 리더십 유형, 3) 사람관리가 다소 낮으면서 전반적으로 보통 수준인 자기중심적 리더십 유형, 4) 자기관리는 보통수준이나 과업관리, 조직관리능력이 다소 부족하고, 사람관리 능력이 취약한 소극적 리더십 유형으로 확인되었다. 이러한 상사의 리더십 유형에 따라 근로자의 행복 수준을 분석한 결과, 유의미한 차이를 확인하였다. 이 연구는 잠재프로파일 분석을 통해 대기업 근로자가 인식한 상사의 리더십 유형을 제시하고, 행복과의 관계에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다는 데 의의가 있다.
