Comparison of Classification Rate Between BP and ANFIS with FCM Clustering Method on Off-line PD Model of Stator Coil

  • In this paper, we compared recognition rates between NN(neural networks) and clustering method as a scheme of off-line PD(partial discharge) diagnosis which occurs at the stator coil of traction motor. To acquire PD data, three defective models are made. PD data for classification were acquired from PD detector. And then statistical distributions are calculated to classify model discharge sources. These statistical distributions were applied as input data of two classification tools, BP(Back propagation algorithm) and ANFIS(adaptive network based fuzzy inference system) pre-processed FCM(fuzzy c-means) clustering method. So, classification rate of BP were somewhat higher than ANFIS. But other items of ANFIS were better than BP; learning time, parameter number, simplicity of algorithm.

  • This paper presents a new development of real-time generator simulator which is operating on PC environment. User friendly made interfaces make it possible for any users to utilize the simulator immediately with very little learning efforts. Also, the real-time simulation gives much more practical operation feeling to the users. It provides a very useful tool for analyzing system dynamics and developing the power system control schemes.

  • In this paper the contention that a case study on the e-learning contents by students' levels. The Key word of the future e-learning contents are student-centered education that considers each student's ability, aptitude, and career choice. The major way to realize this student-centered education is to implement differentiated curriculum by students' levels. Especially, in the off-line class, this method Is very difficult because if superior and inferior classes are established, those who are placed in the inferior class will be hurt, but e-learning is realized that.

Realization of Online System Considering the Lecture Intelligibility of University Student

  • Blended learning is a teaching method utilizing all the advantages in 'on and off-line' learning circumstances in order to enhance the learning effect and efficiency, more than the simple use of online factors in the classroom education. In this paper, we present the realization and simulation of algorithm for the realtime evaluation of low-grade and high-grade subjects in order to implement smart e-learning system, considering a lecture intelligibility. In order to grasp the levels of student's intelligibility, we simulated a function that automatically summarizes the study contents of class given by a lecturer. Especially, in administrator mode of smart e-learning system, we suggested and simulated a system in order to help the lecturer to easily manage the student's grades, and we have provided software to tell the student's intelligibility of lecture, analyzed the rate of incorrect answers, automatic judgment of lecture intelligibility and judge the weakest subject.

  • This paper discuss the real-time self-tuning learning control based on evolutionary computation, which proves its the superiority in the finding of the optimal solution at the off-line learning method. The individuals are reduced in order to learn the evolutionary strategy in real-time, and new method that guarantee the convergence of evolutionary mutations are proposed. It possible to control the control object varied as time changes. As the state value of the control object is generated, applied evolutionary strategy each sampling time because the learning process of an estimation, selection, mutation in real-time. These algorithms can be applied, the people who do not have knowledge about the technical tuning of dynamic systems could design the controller or problems in which the characteristics of the system dynamics are slightly varied as time changes.

  • 많은 이러닝 시스템들은 기존의 설정된 문항난이도를 기반으로 학습자에게 학습정보를 제공하고 있으며, 학습자는 정해진 학습과정에 따라 학습을 수행하고 있다. 이는 학습과정 중에서 학습자마다 학습을 이해하는 정도가 다름에도 불구하고 학습자는 정해진 난이도와 학습과정을 따라야 함으로 효율적인 학습효과를 나타내기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 학습자가 학습과정중에 이해하는 정도를 시스템이 파악하여 능동적으로 난이도 및 학습과정을 조절하는 학습자 적응형 이러닝 시스템을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 학습자는 오프라인에서의 학습과 같은 대화형 학습을 통해 온라인 학습이 가져오는 획일적 학습에서 벗어나 보다 높은 학습효과를 높일 수 있다.

u-Learning 기반 IT 직업교육과정 개발을 위한 청각장애인의 욕구조사 (A Survey Study of IT Vocational Education Contents Development in Ubiquitous Learing for Persons with Hearing Impairments)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 u-Learning 학습매체인 IT 기기와 웹 기반의 e-Learning 교육을 서로 호환할 수 있는 IT 직업교육과정을 개발하기 위해 청각장애인의 접근성에 대한 문제점과 개선 방안, 그리고 u-Learning 기반 차세대 IT 학습 매체로서의 교육적 활용 가능성에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 수행하기 위해서 장애인 기관협회의 수화통역사 사전교육을 통하여 경북·대구광역시에 거주하는 100명의 청각장애인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 연구를 통해 나타난 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 오프라인 컴퓨터 교육과 웹 기반의 e-Learning 교육에 대한 청각장애인에게 고려되어야 할 요소로는 청각장애인들을 위한 수화 동영상 및 자막 서비스를 제공해 주지 않는 점과 더불어 강의내용에 대한 청각장애인의 의미파악에 어려움으로 인해 학습효과가 낮아 수화통역이 가능한 교수와 꾸준한 상호협력 및 멘토링이 필요하며, 또한 자막의 크기와 색상 및 배치, 수화동영상의 크기와 배치 등의 청각장애인을 위한 사용자환경 설정 및 강의 내용과 자막서비스를 동시에 텍스트를 제공이 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, u-Learning 학습매체인 IT 기기와 웹 기반의 e-Learning 교육을 서로 호환할 수 있는 IT 직업교육과정 개설 시 수업참여 여부가 74%로 나타나 청각장애인에게 높은 기대감을 보여 IT 직업교육과정 개발이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, IT 직업교육과정을 수강하기 위한 선호하는 IT 기기로는 태블릿 PC가 가장 높았으며, IT직업 교육과정의 개설과목으로 IT 관련 자격증 과목개설을 가장 많이 선호하여 취업을 연계하기 위해서 컴퓨터 중급부터 고급과정까지 체계적으로 습득할 수 있는 IT 직업교육과정의 다양한 콘텐츠가 필요할 것이다.

  • This paper deals with speed control of DC-servo motor using a Back-Propagation(BP) Learning Algorism and a PID controller Conventionally in the industrial control, PID controller has been used. But the PID controller produced suitable parameter of each system and also variable of PID controller should be changed enviroment, disturbance, load. So this paper revealed for experimental, a neural network and a PID controller combined system using developed speed characters of a Variable Load DC-servo motor. The parameters of the plant are determined by neural network perform on on-line system after training the neural network on off-line system.

  • If there is a mismatch between the controller programmed rotor time constant and the actual time constant of motor, the decoupling between the flux and torque is lost in an indirect rotor field oriented control. This paper presents a new estimation scheme for rotor time constant using artificial neural networks. The parameters of induction motor model organize 2 layer neural to be weight between neuron, which is proposed new in this paper. This method makes networks simple, so its brings not only the improvement in speed but simplification in calculation. Furthermore, it is possible to estimated rotor time constant real time through on-line learning without using off-line learning. The digital simulation and the experimental results to verify the effectiveness of the new method are described in this paper.
