Mobility Improvement of an Internet-based Robot System Using the Position Prediction Simulator

  • With the rapid growth of the Internet, the Internet-based robot has been realized by connecting off-line robot to the Internet. However, because the Internet is often irregular and unreliable, the varying time delay in data transmission is a significant problem for the construction of the Internet-based robot system. Thus, this paper is concerned with the development of an Internet-based robot system, which is insensitive to the Internet time delay. For this purpose, the PPS (Position Prediction Simulator) is suggested and implemented on the system. The PPS consists of two parts : the robot position prediction part and the projective virtual scene part. In the robot position prediction part, the robot position is predicted for more accurate operation of the mobile robot, based on the time at which the user's command reaches the robot system. The projective virtual scene part shows the 3D visual information of a remote site, which is obtained through image processing and position prediction. For the verification of this proposed PPS, the robot was moved to follow the planned path under the various network traffic conditions. The simulation and experimental results showed that the path error of the robot motion could be reduced using the developed PPS.

  • In terms of both quality of rural lifestyle and cultural awareness, the importance of community facility is being emphasized. Nevertheless, by occasion of graying, population outflow and revenue loss, rural society faces the erosion of community. For these reasons, government is promotion an community space construction project on rural areas which is lack of community facilities. Whereas the projects are just one off thing not include upkeeping, so lots of functional overlapping community facilities are formed in same place. In this study has classified rural community facility remodeling element and designed rural community facility evaluation system of each elements. In order to implement of purpose, it has categorized community remodeling index in rural area by literature analysis and site survey. For setting remodeling rating system, this study analysed preceding research data and conducted a Delphi survey of 30 experts. As a result, this study deducted 29 categories of community remodeling index and 21 categorizes of remodeling rating clause. Taking this result, this study progressed case study on seonheul-ri in Jeju. Implications, limitations and future research directions are presented. It would be groundwork for remodeling system development in rural community facility.

돈암지구 가구(街區)의 형성과 도시한옥의 적응 (Formation of Don-am district and Adaptation of Hanok Area in Seoul)

  • The Don-am district is a residential area that was supplied in 1936 as a land readjustment project(Tojiguhoekjeongri). The Don-am district was newly supplied with residential areas and urban hanoks were built in large numbers. The Don-am district was influenced by urban planning and legislation at that time. These affected in the layout and plan of urban hanok. Residential block in the Don-am district were developed sequentially from the late 1930s to the 1960s. Residential block were divided by modern construction company and sold by individual lots. The blocks supplied to the Don-am district made uniformly the corner out-off(Ga gak) for creating a vehicle-centered road. So urban hanoks located in the corner plot was transformed in response to the road. Residential blocks in Don-am district was divided into three to four rows. Therefore, alleys were created inside the block. Newly made alleys consist of a privately owned road(Sa-do), a public road(Gong-Do), and open space in the site. And the alleys were used as an entry space for sharing with neighboring. Urban hanoks of Don-am district have had changed and adapted to the formation of these alleys.

  • 건설공사시 발생하는 환경부하 관리를 위해서는 시공시 실제 투입되는 물량을 면밀히 파악할 필요가 있다. 현재 건설공사에서는 2D도면을 활용한 설계의 경우에는 실제 설계 도서간 물량산출 값의 오차, 설계항목의 누락이 발생하고 있으며 건설 공사의 경우 불확실한 요소들로 인하여 시공 중에도 빈번히 설계변경 및 오류가 발생하고 있다. 또한 2D 설계를 바탕으로 하는 LCA평가의 경우 도면, 내역서 등을 이용하여 작업자가 수기로 작업공종에 투입되는 자재를 산출해야하는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 2D 설계를 바탕으로한 물량산출과 BIM기반의 물량산출을 바탕으로 LCA 분석을 비교하여 시공과정에서 활용 할 수 있는 신뢰도 높은 환경부하평가 방법을 검증하고자 한다. 또한 설계도서를 활용한 내역기반의 2D설계의 물량산출 및 LCA 평가 방법을 제시하고, 3D 기반의 평가 프로세스를 비교 분석하여 BIM 설계기법 도입에 따른 LCA 평가 활용 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

Experimental study on seismic behavior of two-storey modular structure

  • Due to the unique construction method of modular steel buildings (MSBs) with units prefabricated fully off the site and assembled quickly on the site, the inter-module connection for easy operation and overall performance of the system were key issues. However, it was a lack of relevant research on the system-level performance of MSBs. This study investigated the seismic performance of two-storey modular steel structure with a proposed vertical rotary inter-module connection. Three full-scale quasi-static tests, with and without corrugated steel plate and its combination, were carried out to evaluate and compare their seismic behaviour. The hysteretic performance, skeleton curves, ductile performance, stiffness degradation, energy dissipation capacity, and deformation pattern were clarified. The results showed that good ductility and plastic deformation ability of such modular steel structures. Two lateral-force resistance mechanisms with different layout combinations were also discussed in detail. The corrugated steel plate could significantly improve the lateral stiffness and bearing capacity of the modular steel structure. The cooperative working mechanism of modules and inter-module connections was further analyzed. When the lateral stiffness of upper and lower modular structures was close, limited bending moment transfer may be considered for the inter-module connection. While a large lateral stiffness difference existed initially between the upper and lower structures, an obvious gap occurred at the inter-module connection, and this gap may significantly influence the bending moments transferred by the inter-module connections. Meanwhile, several design recommendations of inter-module connections were also given for the application of MSBs.

A Study on the Dynamic Analysis of Mooring System During Hook-up Installation

  • This study evaluated the Hook-up installation of an offshore site construction process, which is the final step in an offshore site installation process. During Hook-up installation, the offshore structure can have a detrimental effect on the work stability due to low-frequency motion. Moreover, economic costs can be incurred by the increase in available days of a tugboat. Therefore, this study developed a numerical analysis program to assess the dynamic behavior of mooring systems during hook-up installation to analyze the generally performed installation process and determine when the tugboat should be released. In this program, the behavior of an offshore structure was calculated using Cummin's time-domain motion equation, and the mooring system was calculated by Lumped mass method (LMM). In addition, a tugboat algorithm for hook-up installation was developed to apply the Hook-up procedure. The model used in the calculations was the barge type assuming FPSO (Floating production storage and off-loading) and has a taut mooring system connected to 16 mooring lines. The results of the simulation were verified by comparing with both MOSES, which is a commercial program, and a calculation method for restoring coefficient matrix, which was introduced by Patel and Lynch (1982). Finally, the offset of the structure according to the number of tugboats was calculated using the hook-up simulation, and the significant value was used to represent the calculation result.

  • Gondola is widely used as a construction facility to perform external finishing work without using scaffolding at a construction site. However, since 2000, there have been 17 deaths from now so these risks associated with work can not be ignored. Therefore, it is expected that it will contribute greatly to prevent related disasters if introducing necessary measures to prevent repeated related disasters and installing additional safety devices. In order to eliminate the risk factor according to the operation of the gondola, it is necessary for the operator to use it to use it while the examination of each product is completed, and to use the over load Dangerous arbitrary measures such as arbitrary operation of the prevention device, removal of the safety fence for convenience of work, installation of the wire rope installed in the air, falling out of the wire rope and falling to the ground Do not perform such sealing measures so that any operation of the overload prevention device can not be done so as not to take such arbitrary measures, or wire the power supply wire to the safety fence so as not to delete the safety fence. 프리캐스트 프리스트레스트 내화단면 중공슬래브의 부재두께에 따른 화재거동평가 (A Evaluation of Fire Behavior According to Member Thickness of Precast Prestressed Hollow Core Slab of Fire Resistance Section )

  • 최근 건설현장은 인건비 상승, 중대재해처벌법 등으로 인한 건설 현장 여건의 변화로 탈현장 여건으로 프리캐스트 부재 생산에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 특히, 프리캐스트 프리스트레스트 중공슬래브는 단면 내 중공형상을 두어, 중량감소 및 강연선을 통한 처짐 제어 등으로 구조성능은 확보하고 있으나, 현재 내화 성능 개선에 대한 미비한 연구 뿐만 아니라, 기업들의 근거 없는 당연내화구조 기준을 적용함에 내화성능 확보에 대한 시급성이 대두되고 있다. 이 연구에서는 기존 중공 슬래브와 비교하여 동등이상 구조성능, 경제성을 갖기 위하여 슬래브단면 내 중공 형상 최적화를 통해 단면 내 콘크리트 충진률 감소 및 상하부 플랜지 형상 개선으로 내화단면을 개발하였다. 이를 적용한 PC 중공 슬래브에 대하여 단면두께를 변수로 하여 2시간 내화시험을 진행하여, 실험결과 내화 성능(하중지지력, 차열성, 차염성)을 확보 하였다. 실험 결과 기반으로, 수치해석 시뮬레이션을 통해 내화모델링을 정립하여, 추후 단면형상 변경에 따라 내화 해석 예측이 가능한 것으로 판단된다.

합성 PC부재에 의한 그린 프레임의 철근물량 산출 자동화 알고리즘 (Automatic Algorithms of Rebar Quantity Take-Off of Green Frame by Composite Precast Concrete Members)

  • 1980년대 이후 국내 아파트에서 적용되어온 벽식구조는 리모델링 시 많은 문제점을 유발시켜 정부에서는 법적 인센티브를 제공하며 무량판 및 라멘구조를 장려하고 있다. 이에 따라 기존의 골조의 문제점을 개선한 친환경 라멘조인 그린 프레임이 개발되어 구조적 안전성 뿐 아니라 시공성, 친환경성에 대한 검증이 이루어졌다. 그린프레임의 경우 설계단계에서 작성된 프리캐스트 콘크리트(Precast Concrete; PC) 부재 정보를 이용하여 물량 산출 및 철근 가공도(bar bending schedule) 등을 자동으로 작성하면 인력저감 뿐 아니라 철근 손율(loss)을 줄이는 철근조합을 용이하게 수행할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 합성 PC부재에 의해 설계된 그린 프레임의 철근물량 산출 자동화 알고리즘을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 철근물량 산출자동화 알고리즘은 구조 설계정보, 시방정보, 합성PC의 철골정보 등을 이용하여 작성한 후 사례현장 적용을 통하여 개발된 알고리즘의 효용성을 증명한다. 개발된 알고리즘에 의해 저장된 정보는 철근가공조립도, 철근 재단 리스트(bar cutting list)작성 자동화 뿐 아니라 철근 손율을 최소화 할 수 있는 최적조합과 주문물량 산출 자동화에도 활용될 것이다. 또한 공사관리인력 저감 뿐 아니라 철근 손율 최소화 관리에 따른 공사 원가절감의 효과를 기대할 수 있다.

UAV에 의한 정사영상의 품질 개선 방안 (Improvement of Ortho Image Quality by Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)

  • 무인항공기는 유인항공기에 비해 가격이 저렴하고, 운용이 용이하기 때문에 최근 공간정보 구축, 농업, 어업, 기상관측, 통신, 엔터테인먼트 분야 등에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 특히, 공간정보 구축 관련 분야에서 무인항공기는 데이터 취득의 신속성과 경제성 때문에 많은 주목을 받고 있다. 하지만 무인항공기를 이용해 제작되는 정사영상에는 건물이나 산림부분의 왜곡현상이 발생하며, 공간정보 분야의 원활한 활용을 위해서는 이러한 문제를 해결할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 조건에서 무인항공기 정사영상의 왜곡을 파악하기 위해 고정익, 회전익, 수직이착륙형의 무인항공기를 활용하여 건설현장, 도심지역, 산림지역 등 다양한 대상지역을 촬영하고, 정사영상을 제작하여 분석하였다. 연구를 통해 무인항공기 영상의 중복도가 왜곡현상의 가장 큰 요인이며, 비행고도가 높을수록 왜곡현상이 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 왜곡현상의 개선을 위한 DTM(Digital Terrain Model)을 활용하는 원시영상의 해상도를 낮추어 정사영상의 왜곡을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 향후 왜곡 없는 고품질 무인항공기 성과물은 정밀측량분야의 무인항공기 적용 확대에 크게 기여할 것이다.
