돈사악취저감을 위한 바이오필터 시스템 개발 - 충전재의 악취제거 특성 - (Development of Biofilter System for Reducing Odor from Livestock Facilities - Odor Reducing Characteristics of Bed Materials -)

  • This research was conducted to study the offensive odor adhesion efficiency of filter bed materials using the experimental column that was designed and constructed in this work. The offensive odor adhesion experiment was conducted using mixture of high physical adhesion efficiency material, and the fixity of deodorization microorganism of selected filter bed material was tested using ammonia exclude microorganism A4-2 and sulfur oxidation microorganism S5-5.2 those were cultured at the Agricultural Chemical Department of Chungnam National University, and deodorization efficiency of selected filter bed material mixture was tested. Followings are summary of these tests results. 1) Amount of elimination of the offensive odor gas ammonia and hydrogen sulfide per unit volume were 0.054 and 0.016 $\ell$/㎤ in rice hull, 0.01 and 0.004 $\ell$/㎤ in rice straw, 0.158 and 0.01 $\ell$/㎤ in coconut, 0.014 and 0.02 $\ell$/㎤ in perlite, 0.004 and 0.003 $\ell$/㎤ in high road ball, and 0.112 and 0.015 $\ell$/㎤ chaff of pine, respectively. 2) Amount of elimination of offensive odor gas of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide per unit vloume were 0.079 and 0.016 $\ell$/㎤ in mixture 1, 0.045 and 0.014 $\ell$/㎤ in mixture 2, 0.123 and 0.017 $\ell$/㎤ in mixture 3, 0.055 and 0.016 $\ell$/㎤ in mixture 4, 0.031 and 0.015 $\ell$/㎤ in mixture 5, and 0.111 and 0.020 $\ell$/㎤ in mixture 6, respectively. 3) The offensive odor elimination microoraganism inoculated to the mixture of chaff of pine (70%) and pert (30%) showed the elimination efficiency of 99.06% and 96.61% against the ammonia and hydrongen sulfide, respectively, during 24 hours period.

된장에서 분리한 효모(Pichia farinosa NASS-2)의 돈분 악취감소효과 (Decrease efficiency of Offensive Odor from Pig Excreta by Yeast Strain, Pichia farinosa NASS-2 Isolated from Soy Bean Paste)

  • 경기도 지방의 된장 시료로부터 악취감소 효과 미생물 중에서 효모가 분리되었으며 rDNA염기서열분석에 의하여 Pichia farinosa로 동정 되었다. 공시균주 P. farinosa NASS-2로 대량배양조건 확립 및 미생물처리제를 제조하였다. 분리한 효모로 제조한 악취저감효과 처리제의 실내 시험결과 돈분에 미생물제를 처리하고 15일 경과 후 악취가스 감소율을 조사한 결과, 암모니아가스($NH_3$ gas)는 처리 전 19.49 ppm에서 처리 후는 1.38 ppm으로, 황화수소가스($H_2S$ gas)는 처리 전 5.89 ppb에서 처리 후는 0.32 ppb으로 감소하는 효과를 나타내었다. 일반적으로 박테리아가 악취저감효과 미생물로 사용되고 있으나 본 연구에서 사용한 된장에서 분리한 효모 특히 산막효모인 P. farinosa NASS-2의 악취효과(암모니아가스, 황화수소 가스)는 처음 보고이다.

  • As a typical example of simultaneous analysis of the odorous compounds, the volatile organic compounds from inventory sources in Seongseo industrial area were concentrated and analyzed with thermal desorber/GC/MSD, and major malodorous compounds were estimated. Odor intensity and odor concentration was analyzed simultaneously During a period from November in 2002 to December in 2003, this study was conducted to evaluate malodor emission characterization in major treatment facilities. The major components were Dimethyl sulfide, Dimethyl disulfide, Methyl mercaptane, Ammonia, Benzene, Toluene, m,p-xylene, o-xylene, Styrene, 1,2,4­T.M.B and 1,3,5-T.M.B. Among the six major inventory sources, the odor unit concentration of Night-soil disposal facilities was the highest, $669\~2344\;ou/m^{3}.$

오창산업단지 주변지역 주민의 행정규제에 대한 인식과 악취수용성의 상관성 연구 (A Research on the Relationship between the Perception of Administrative Regulation and Odor Acceptance among Residents who live in Ochang Industrial Complex Area)

  • 악취로 인한 유해물질의 배출과 이에 따르는 사회적 문제를 해결하는 가장 확실한 방법은 정부기관이 이 문제를 얼마나 적절하게 취급할 수 있는가에 달려 있다고 할 수 있다. 개인마다 악취에 대한 수용성이 다르고, 악취문제 해결을 위한 사회적 비용의 지불의사도 다르기 때문이다. 이는 악취와 같은 부정적 외부효과를 공공부문의 개입에 의해 해결해야하는 이유이기도 하다. 이 연구는 오창산업단지에서 발생하는 악취문제에 대한 주변지역 주민들의 인식을 경험적으로 측정함으로써 행정규제에 대한 인식과 악취수용성의 상관성을 분석해보았다. 분석결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 법적규제에 대한 인식은 악취 수용성에 부정적인 효과를 나타내는 것으로 증명되었다. 즉, 법령과 규제에 대한 문제점을 더 강하게 인식할수록 악취에 대한 수용도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 악취물질 배출에 관한 규제를 개선해야한다고 인식하는 주민일수록 악취수용성 판단에 더 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 지방정부의 민원해결에 대한 지역주민들의 만족도는 악취관련 규제에 대한 인식에 영향을 주어 악취 수용성과도 상관관계를 만들어내는 것으로 나타났다.

부분최소자승법을 이용한 중고차 에어컨냄새 원인물질 추정 (Estimation of VOCs Affecting a Used Car Air Conditioning Smell via PLSR)

  • Lately, customers think highly of the emotional satisfaction and as a result, issues on odor are matters of concern. The cases are odor of interior material and air-conditioner of vehicles. In particualar, with respect to the odor of air-conditioner, customers strongly claimed defects with provocative comments : "It smells like something rotten," "It smells like a foot odor," "It stinks like a rag." Generally, it is known that mold of evaporator core in the air-conditioning system decays and this produce VOCs which causes the odor to occur. In this study, partial least squares regression model is applied to predict the strength of the odor and select of important VOCs which affect car air conditioning smell. The PLS method is basically a particular multilinear regression algorithm which can handle correlated inputs and limited data. The number of latent variable is determined by the point which is stabilized mean absolute deviations of VOCs data. Also multiple linear regression is carried out to confirm the validity of PLS method.

초고온 호기성 퇴비화 공정의 복합 악취 및 악취 물질 평가 (Evaluation of Complex Odor and Odorous Compounds in a Pilot-Scale Ultra Thermophilic Aerobic Composting Process)

  • 본 연구는 정읍시에서 배출되는 하수 슬러지, 축산 분뇨, 음식물 쓰레기를 대상으로 Pilot Scale($100m^3$) 초고온 호기성 퇴비화 공정에서의 복합 악취 및 12개 지정 악취물질을 평가하였다. 각각의 대상 물질은 종균과 혼합하였고 1차 50일, 2차 60일 기간동안 운전하였다. 호기성 퇴비화가 진행됨에 따라 1차, 2차 퇴비화공정에서 온도가 상승하여 약 $90{\sim}95^{\circ}C$가 되었다. 악취 분석을 위한 시료는 1차의 경우 퇴비상부에서, 2차의 경우 Pilot Plant 경계지점에서 채취하였다. 지정 악취 물질 12개 항목의 기기 분석에서 악취의 주요 원인으로는 암모니아, 메틸머캅탄, 디메틸다이설파이드, 트리메틸아민이었다. 초기 복합악취의 농도는 퇴비화 공정이 끝난 후의 농도보다 높았지만 규제기준을 넘지 않았다. 초고온 호기성 퇴비화 공정에서는 적절한 교반시점과 발효 온도가 악취 발생의 중요한 인자라고 판단된다.

은나노 소재를 이용한 공조기의 탈취 성능 향상에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Deodorization Performance Enhancement of the Air Handling Unit Using a Nano-Silver Material)

  • The filter has long been used in purification processes for indoor air quality. To determine the deodorization effect of several filter materials in a full-scale air-handling system, the present study has been carried out using a wind tunnel equipped with a heat exchanger and various filter materials, such as commercial fabric, activated carbon(AC) and silver nano-particles attached to activated carbon(Ag-AC). The experiment was conducted using an odor substance with ammonia, acetaldehyde, acetic acid. The results obtained indicate that odor substance is substantially decreased on the moisture condensation on the surface of the heat exchanger. The fabric filter has no effect for removal of odor substances. The deodorization efficiency is found to be approximately 7% in the AC filter, while the deodorization efficiency is increased up to 10% using the Ag-AC filter.

화재징후 조기표출과 복합검사를 위한 표출재 설계, 제작 및 성능 평가 (Design, Fabrication, and Performance Evaluation of Showing Material for Early Expression of Fire Signs and Combined Inspection)

  • Previous research has explored early expression of fire signs before the burning of insulation. To achieve this, typically, automatic inspections are used to detect gas emitted from odor capsules at electrical connection points; additionally, early fire signs can be expressed using visual inspection of changes in the appearance of temperature caps. However, early detection of electrical fire is often difficult because only specific inspections, which are not complex, are performed. Therefore, in this paper, we present complex inspection techniques, such as visual inspection, odor inspection, and automatic inspection, and propose a showing material of fire signs that can solve conventional problems. In addition, this study examines the conditions under which the candidate material for the showing material is designed, the composition of the candidate material selected based on the designed conditions, the manufacturing means used to produce the showing material considering the temperature for early expression of fire signs, and the performance of the produced showing material. Furthermore, we analyze various effects that can occur through the proposed display material.

Effects of Kimchi Powder on the Quality Properties of Emulsion Type Sausage Made with Irradiated Pork Meat

  • In this study, the effects of kimchi powder on the quality properties of an emulsion type sausage made with irradiated pork meat were investigated. Raw ground pork ham was gamma-irradiated at 5 and 10 kGy, and the emulsion type sausage was then manufactured with the irradiated pork meat. The pH value was shown to increase by irradiation of raw material (p<0.05). Samples containing kimchi powder had a lower pH value than other treatments, but no significant differences were observed. In a sensory evaluation, the scores of all the criteria were decreased with an increased irradiation dose of raw material, but samples containing kimchi powder had a higher sensory score than other treatments in all irradiation doses of raw material. The TBARS values were increased by irradiation of raw material and the samples containing kimchi powder had the highest value (p<0.05). Odor substances analyzed by an electronic nose were increased with increased irradiation dose of raw material in all treatments, and samples containing kimchi powder showed a higher increase of odor substances than other treatments. Thus, this study demonstrated that kimchi powder was effective in eliminating the off-odor and flavor of sausages made with irradiated pork meat despite the increase of the TBARS value.

It removed the offensive odor regulation material and the technique it will be able to prevent to sleep it researched it did. After scattering the GNC solution which develops the offensive odor regulation material which occurs from the food and trash treatment plant which is located to the S from the H, company after scattering the GNC solution which it develops collection it did a control criminal record control kind air and it analyzed. In this study, we investigated the emission concentrations of offensive odorous compounds of hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, dimethyl sulfide and dimethyl disulfide, trimethylamine, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, buthylaldehyde, iso-valeric aldehyde, n-valeric aldehyde, ammonia. The concentrations of odorous compounds are determined by gas chromatography, HPLC and uv-vis spectroscopy. Hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, dimethyl sulfide and dimethyl disulfide were not detected at any point examined.
